NYT Once Again Is There Only To Serve And Protect

The New York Times is laughable in a world where the sound of laughter only makes the Times dig deeper into its well of smug indifference to reality.

A Note to Readers: The Decision to Publish Diplomatic Documents

For The Times to ignore this material would be to deny its own readers the careful reporting and thoughtful analysis they expect when this kind of information becomes public.

As usual, once the NYT thinks they have reached the bottom they call for diagrams from within their pool of diggers as to dig deeper.

The "deny its own readers the careful reporting and thoughtful analysis they expect" line is delicious, but de rigueur in a world of self delusion.

Media Matters: Two Dollar Whores In A Ten Dollar World

Media Matters Lies About Media Coverage of Sarah Palin North Korea Slip

To be fair to the rest of the press, with their veneer of lipstick, they're two-twelve, maybe two-thirteen, if you have the correct change and are willing to haggle.

Whichever, they do have their integrity, eh?

Obama's Harold Koh Has the Gravitas of Pudding

Mr. Nuance, Barry Obama. has an administration that woulda, if they coulda, screwed up a Miss Dairy Cow Queen puff bill in Congress. It appears that nuanced diplomatic outreach by the United States has devolved into grade school bitchiness.

The administration is scrambling to deflect un-nuanced references and descriptions of foreign leaders by the oafs at Foggy Botttom. That group could and does screw up a common tea party held by 5 year olds with their imaginary friends.

They have the light touch of a barbarian seeking acceptable congress with the daughter of an enemy foreign leader. Over an especially messy dinner. Without utensils and napkins.

Now this group of morons has set the bar in doubling down on WikiLeaks wimp, Mr I'm gonna have a comb over as soon as I reach puberty, Assange to a new low. They will ignore leaks that will kill our agents, friends and helpers. These allies are expendable to nuanced loser bastards who should have never been hired by a loser who should never been elected president. A teacup tempest by teacup president who have created an international crisis by being stupid, small minded know-nothings because they are totally incapable of running a lemonade stand in Tupelo on a quiet Monday night. Well, they might actually try to run a lemonade stand if Eric Holder's DOJ doesn't stop and fine the group of youngsters from even opening said business. Little kids and lemonade is so much more important than benign New Black Panther members thwarting the vote, eh?

Kohl actually stated with out equivocation that:

He said the U.S government would not deal with WikiLeaks at all in determining what may or may not released.

"We will not engage in a negotiation regarding the further release or dissemination of illegally obtained U.S. government classified materials," wrote Koh, who is considered to be one of the world's top experts in international law and was reportedly considered for a seat on the Supreme Court
.

If this Milquetoast actually had anything to categorically refer to actual fact, the entire administration would fall to their knees in horror that they might be looked upon in horror as decisive. That would be seen in the international scene in a bad light.

So, Koh isn't going to do anything because by doing so he might lend credence to WikiLeaks. Obama has to be feeding him instructions. And Koh must be listening.

How embarrassing is that?

Boy Attempts To Bomb Religious Ceremony In The Name Of The Religion Of Peace

He wished that all who attended leave either dead or injured. His god must be proud.

Corvallis man arrested in Christmas tree ceremony bomb plot

The boy wanted to do this for his religion. Even as he was asked to think about what he wanted he instead made a video to show his bravery and dedication to jihad.

He looks like a punk version of Grace Jones.

The EPA Is A Toxic Dump Filled With Hidden Taxes

Bureaucrats are unelected thus have no mandate, but they increasingly more our rulers than Congress. They mandate. They push regulations onto us that we have not asked for nor want. They tax us through every possible method including compliance fees, mandatory rules for business and through fines for everything you can imagine.

Homeowners Now Must Pay EPA's Hidden Tax

Who put these bureaucrats in place? Who gave them the power to bypass the Constitution? If they are there by the grace of elected officials, first, the elected officials should be voted out of office and then the bureaucrats should be replaced by no one.

People talk of cutting government by this percentage or that percentage, which is a good thing, but I say cut the bureaucracy by 25 percent starting in January.

Boehner-Lite And A Day Late

Nancy Pelosi Will Fly Commercial, Too

It's a start. Who knows, she might actually start be a real representative. You know, like what's good for the people and that whole ethics thing.

Nah. She'll find a way around it.

If Government Was In Charge Of Deserts We'd Have A Sand Shortage

Autos, banks, health care, schools, insurance and on and on. Government wants it all. And to think early Americans thought Alexander Hamilton wanted a king.

FCC moves to ensure ‘net neutrality’

Now the government wants to 'regulate' the Internet. There won't be any death panels for porno sites, but they will decide what you can and cannot see. Soon our Internet will be as diverse as the BBC!

Her supporters think they are right that we'll regret what we say (and think) the first time a crazy 80 year old Luthern great-grandmother with an explosive knee replacement takes down a plane.

They'd be wrong.

Demos Don't Get Earmarks: It's not The $$, It's The Bribery

Republicans and Democrats that support earmarks keep up the mantra that their accepting bribes is good for their states and eliminating earmarks won't save any money.

It's not the money, it's the process. It's not how money will or will not be saved nor whether it is spent by Congress or whether it empowers the executive branch to spend the money as they want for political purchase.

It is about bribery.

If they still don't get it then they are too stupid to be in Congress. Earmarks are simply a symptom of the larger broken process in which government works and how legislation id passed. Bribery, tit-for-tat, backscratching or reaching across the aisle, whatever you call it, it is an evil that has grown to proportions that match the proportion in which government has grown.

If these bagmen still don't get it then have them study the Louisiana Purchase and the Cornhusker Kickback.

Stop the bribery. Stop Earmarks.

World Trade Center-Texas

This is the World Trade Center (of San Antonio).  San Antonio has
some great old building stock all along Broadway. Broadway runs
at a bit of a diagonal to the street grid just like New York's Broadway,
so a lot of the buildings have skewed plans like parallelograms or trapezoids.
That explains the dramatic foreshortening on this sketch.

Thanksgiving: Time For Athiests And Libs To Kick Off Their Anti-Christ In Christmas Campaign

Tony Phyrillis reminded me

It is that jolly time of year when the wackjobs start bitching about how un-American it is to have Christmas displays displayed at Christmas, especially on government land. Government land that is owned by the people of the United States. It offends their nuanced sensibilities. Awwww.

Now, they want to use race as a reason to not put up anything religious for the vast majority of people who celebrate Christmas to enjoy.

 How to p*ss off atheists

Chester County Commissioners Carol Aichele and Terence Farrell made the right decision by ending the annual dispute between a fringe group of atheists and the majority of county residents over what kind of holiday display should be placed at the Historic Chester County Courthouse.

The use of the race card against Farrell shows how desperate the atheists get when they lose the argument.

The majority must be stopped from terrorizing the minority be allowing the minority to terrorize the majority. All over a baby Jesus.

Republicans Helping Republicans: www.ChooseYourChairman.com

A little bird has told me that the Choose Your Chairman website is nothing more than a front for Maria Cino. The site purportedly is a poll to allow individuals to give their recommendation on who they think should be elected chairman of the RNC.

Is it any wonder that Maria Cino is far ahead of all other candidates? In fact  she has more votes than the next three candidates. Hmmmm. Just what Republicans need. More shenanigans. Then we can be just like Democrats.

PRIORITY: First Lady Michelle To Put 5,000 Salad Bars In Schools Across The Nation!

I would have demanded that we spend money on this years ago if I had known the groundswell of salad bar support amongst the great unwashed in America.

White House to put up to 5,000 salad bars in schools

But schools also are deterred by USDA regulations that require students to pass by a cash register or "point of sale" station after they have been to the salad bar to ensure that they have served themselves the correct portions of fruits and vegetables required under the federal lunch program. In October, the USDA's Food and Nutrition Services division, which oversees the subsidized meal program, circulated a memo saying that while it encourages the use of salad bars in schools, school menu planners must tell students the minimum amounts they must take from salad bars, cashiers "must be trained to judge accurately the quantities of self-service items," and point-of-sale registers "must be stationed after the salad bar."

I'm assuming here that our incredibly caring government will use TSA to ensure students serve themselves an accurate quantity of self-service items. This is to prevent too many students from overdosing on radishes and arugula.

Of course, TSA officials will be stationed to do super pat downs on any students with too much cucumber trying to sneak past cashiers.

Is our regime government great or what! I'm gonna call the government because I got a boo-boo because I wasn't careful. I sure hope thay can help me with my bad.

16 Of The Dumbest Things Americans Believe And The Vicious Lies Harming America!

16 of the Dumbest Things Americans Believe -- And the Right-Wing Lies Behind Them

lie1    /laɪ/ Show Spelled

[lahy] Show IPA

noun, verb, lied, ly·ing.

–noun
1. a false statement made with deliberate intent to deceive; an intentional untruth; a falsehood.
2. something intended or serving to convey a false impression; imposture: His flashy car was a lie that deceived no one.
3. an inaccurate or false statement.
4. the charge or accusation of lying: He flung the lie back at his accusers.

LET'S LOOK AT THIS!

Polling data during and after last week’s midterm elections suggested that many Americans genuinely believe President Obama has raised their taxes.

Yes, people do believe this and should. When a government enacts changes that incur and enforce higher costs to individuals, that is a tax.

They flat out don’t think the world is getting warmer--despite the evidence outside their windows.

Yes, but scientists disagree on this subject and as more people find out how previous science was made to fit the conclusion made prior to the science then people doubt it more. Then there are the findings that the earth is cooling, but that is fact that one can’t see outside their window?

The new Congress will probably try to restore millions of dollars of funding for scientifically inaccurate, largely disastrous abstinence-only curriculum in schools, many of which have been shown to spread lies like "condoms don't work" and "abortion causes cancer."

“probably”. “condoms don’t work”. Yeah, saying it probably makes it so and every kid that has thought about condoms has also known about the probabilities of failure. Dumb kids.

News outlets picked up a wildly inflated and completely outlandish claim from an Indian blog that Obama’s trip abroad cost $200 million a day--and listeners have swallowed it.

Actually, many news outlets and tens of thousands of writers across the Net shot this down pretty damned quick, but this is just another example of right wing lunatics that are so dumb they did research and found it not true. (Hint, your back up here could be RACISM!, because the VRWC nuts disbelieved people of color in the Indian press. Think about it. It’s a natural for you)

Nearly one-fifth of Americans think Obama is a Muslim. Thanks, Fox news, for acting like this was a matter of opinion, not fact.

Nearly one-hundredth of Americans might think you’re smart enough to believe and that is a matter of opinion, not fact.

25 percent of Americans don’t believe in Darwin’s theory of evolution while less than 40 percent do.

Come on a say it outright, Faith is stupid and VRWC nutters are so stupid as to believe in the Bible. Most of those 40 percent who do believe are products of public school opinions and that’s a fact. Also, of that 40 percent, what is the factual number that accounts for those that actually understand what a theory is or the science behind the theory of evolution?

Earlier this year, nearly 40 percent of Americans still believed the Sarah Palin-supported lie about "death panels" being included in health care reform.

Earlier this year Americans were hearing experts speak of rationed care and that the Obama Administration official in charge of health care reform had lectured repeatedly on this subject. Are these ‘death panels”? "Death Panels"?, those really dumb Americans just have to jump to a conclusion that being denied coverage would mean death for some, but you’re right, there won’t be any “death panel” listed in any government run health care program.

As of just a few years ago, about half of Americans still suspected a connection between Saddam Hussein and the attacks of September 11, a lie that was reinforced by none other than Dick Cheney.

Yep, stupid Americans did think that terrorists, despots and Islamofascists were connected or at least on the same team worldwide. That’s as stupid as the almost unanimous Congress that believed (and voted) that Hussein had WMDs. Boy, the Democrat leadership is just as dumb as the Republican leadership. Throw them all out. Today. Now!

A majority of “young Americans” cannot identify Iraq or Afghanistan--the places their peers are fighting and dying--on a map.

Sure enough you’re right again and it’s all those dumb Americans that demand that the education of children in government run schools return to educating our children, but that would take money away from teaching nuance instead of fact, eh?

Two out of five Americans, despite the whole separation of church and state being a foundation of our democracy thing, think teachers should be able to lead prayer in classrooms. So it seems those right-wingers clamoring to tear down the wall between church and state aren’t the only ones who don’t know their constitutional principles.

Whoa, this is despicable when our American dumb and dumber class believe that it was a liberal SCOTUS which decided to use a line out of a Jefferson letter to be Constitutional. Maybe SCOTUS should take a few more lines out of other letters, say from Lincoln, that all African Americans should be sent back to Africa and make them part of the Constitutional. Say Liberia?

Many Americans still believe in witchcraft, ESP and other supernatural phenomena.

Yep, they do. Many Americans believe in other supernatural phenomena like Socialism and Communism. Those nuts actually believe those forms of government work and they have millions of dead deniers to prove how just those systems are. Dumb Americans.

Speaking of antiquated religious beliefs, about a decade ago, 20 percent of Americans still believed that the sun revolves around the earth. That's just sad, considering that even the Vatican has let Galileo off the hook for being right.

How dumb can we get!! The same poll shows that one-third of the under 30 year old crowd knew we won our independence from England. Stupid kids. They should sue their teachers because those teachers are part of this whole dumb and dumber problem and the teachers should sue the universities and the government that funds them for not adequately educating them. This dumb and dumber problem seems to be going all the way to the top! Good for the two out three crowd that didn't waste time actually thinking about England and our stupid revolution. They would have been called Tories and would've gone to schools such as Harvard to take part in the first anti-war protests which allowed them to become anti-stupid Atheist ministers.

Only about half of Americans realize that Judaism is the oldest of the three monotheistic religions. Other examples of wild misunderstanding about religion and the separation of church and state can be found in this fall’s Pew survey on Americans’ religious knowledge.

What!!!?? You mean to tell us that about half of Americans are still wasting their time thinking about antiquated and stupid things like religion? Mix that with the wild misunderstanding that some Americans actually believe that the Wall of Separation clause is in the Constitution and you can just see how much time these stupid Americans are wasting on stupid religions. Boy, I’m getting pissed now!

This one made a huge splash when it appeared. In 2006 more Americans were able to name two of the “seven dwarves” than two of the Supreme Court justices. And that was before Kagan and Sotomayor showed up. To be fair, Happy and Sleepy are easy to remember.

Yeah, and in the same poll six out ten Americans could name Bart as Homer’s son from The Simpsons, but only two in ten knew Homer and could name his works!!!! This is actually a good thing. It shows how smart Americans actually are! To think educators would actually waste precious time teaching about dead white guys who everybody knows are the root problem to all our ills as a society! You go guys, you smart Americans. You eight in ten should search out and crush those 2 who waste our time learning about our history because those 2 might just be closet religious nuts. Just sayin….

More Americans can identify the Three Stooges than the three branches of government--you know, the ones who are jockeying over our welfare.

You’re packing the bench with this one. It’s in the same poll about Homer’s son Bart, but I can see the important linkage and it allows you to make an impression of more polls supporting just how dumb Americans are. If enough Americans know about the three branches of government they may know about the dead white guys which gave us our unique system of government which will automatically allow dumb Americans to make that final leap from freedom, balance of power and philosophy to religion! Whew, we barely side stepped that puddle of stupidity.

Blaming Americans for being ignorant unwashed masses--or taking potshots at an education system that doesn’t teach critical thinking-- would be the easy answer to this conundrum.

Yes, it would be! Making such an easy answer to America’s problems that Americans are ignorant, dumb and stupid would be wrong! Especially when the evidence is just outside your window!

Oh, and Wilson was rude, but right on that whole illegal immigrants get health benefits thing, but too many dumb Americans actually believe facts and that is just plain stupid ain’t it?

TSA Stupidity And 'Gate Rape'

Robert Stacy McCain Eviscerates One Of The Vilest Pigots On The Web

It is a beautiful thing, so now read the whole thing.

Oh, and Smitty I had to cut you out so my gadzillion readers wouldn't have to see the vegetarian propaganda film, but I did get the "Hit the Freaking Tip Jar" button in. I have that going for you.

Ahmed Khalfan Ghailani VS Baracky And Barney Fife

It was a great campaign gimmick. Take a terrorist and treat him like a graffiti criminal so he can be tried in a criminal court just like a real American. Not a terrorist. Who isn't American. Who is a murderer through terrorist means.

That's what we get when Barney Fife and his twin Baracky decide it's a tad harsh to try a terrorist under the articles of war. Way to go Holder and Obama. You guys really had the team take 284 ones for the One.

Gitmo Detainee Acquitted Of 284 Terror Charges, Guilty Of One

Of course the Fife brothers had the help of Floyd Biden Lawson, Aunt Barney Bee Frank, the deceased Otis Teddy Campbell and Clara Kerry Edwards.

Way to go guys! Great run with this comedy. Terrorists around the world will now get a choice of laughing their butts off over our justice or our genital rubs. Emmys all around.

Dream Act: Democrats Didn't Learn A Thing In 2010 Elections

First, they re-elect their leadership in Congress. I guess they should be given a pass on Pelosi. She's scary in a very scary Baltimore street thug way of being scary. Kinda like re-electing Chavez or any Castro.

Now they want to increase their voter base through the Dream Act using "fairness" and "reform" in the chorus of their mantra which they believe if sung very nicely that voters either will agree or be lulled by the tune. Maybe they hope that the language alone will make it not understandable. 2, 000 page of Congressian is less understandable than Opera in Italian.

The bottom line is that the Dream Act is a cynical act to create a new generation of Democrat voters who the Democrats hope to bribe with this legislation. The Dream Act is a horrible act and Democrats should be embarrassed and shamed.

They haven't learned a thing and need to be further reminded in 2012. That is if Republicans do the job they were elected to do. If they act like Democrat lite then 2012 could be a nightmare for all involved.

Pelosi Wins Or The Demise Of Democrats

Pelosi Wins Bid for Leader Despite 43 Defections

My fav line from the story:

“Barbara Lee says she’s fine with it: If she’s fine, I’m fine,” Clyburn said.

This is a win for Republicans.

Unions, Big Government Killing States Like Ohio

Americans are fleeing high tax, union-dominated states and settling in states with lower taxes, right-to-work laws and lower government spending. Nothing sends a message like voting with your feet.

People do vote with their feet and the vote here in Ohio is saying get out and go where there are jobs, less government and a right to work without coercion from "friendly" union officials.

Ohio’s state government spending increased by three times the inflation rate between 1994 and 2002. At this clip, the state government budget would double every 14 years. More importantly, this rate of growth outstrips income growth and exceeds our ability to pay for it. The result? Government spending as a share of Ohio’s economy has increased rapidly since 1980. Ohio left the ranks of low-tax states in 1994 and has been one of the highest tax states in the nation since 2000.

Ohio is a "closed shop state" which is a fancy way of saying that workers can be forced to join unions or have to pay unions dues no matter what. The fact that unions have invaded our public (government) sectors is only making the problem worse. Much worse.

Because of these things Ohio is no longer a state that is friendly to its citizens. I have very high hopes that Gov-elect Kasich and soon to be Speaker Batchelder will turn this around.

Murkowski Still Doesn't Get It, But Why Would've Anybody Thought Otherwise

Murkowski (D -as in Daddy's Seat-AK) speaking of Sarah Palin.

"I'm still her senator. I'm going to work hard to represent her too. We don't really have much of a relationship."
Murkowski represents everything wrong in DC for many reasons, but her arrogant calculation to defeat (probably) the duly nominated Republican candidate Joe Miller, her feeling of self-entitlement and her snotty cat scratching at her opponents tell me that she hasn't a clue.

As for leadership, few people of quality ever follow a leader that is so arrogant or insecure that they feel the need to puff themselves up by putting their opponents down. I wouldn't follow a leader such as that for any reason. I think we fought a war once about hereditary leadership. They thought they were invincible too, especially against rubes and nobodies. They got their ass kicked.

Charles Rangel: "I am not going away,"

He was right.

House panel finds Rangel guilty of ethics violations

House Democrats don't have the guts nor the ethics to do the right thing and vote for expulsion. So, Charlie was right. He is not going away and he will continue to serve in the House instead of the big house where he belongs.

He is a crook, not just ethically challenged.

TSA Doubles Down On 'Touch My Junk' Stupidity

I wrote about this foolishness by the government and their band aid faux security here.

Now TSA is doubling down on their stupidity and the government and the courts seem to be in lock step in the effort to stifle dissent by citizens who think TSA is not only not effectual, but also acts a bunch of low IQ thug guards.

TSA to investigate body scan resister

Yeah, the guy left the airport and for that he is going to have to accept being investigated by such a group of keystone cops and then possibly be fined and imprisoned? Right. Listen to the audio and try to make the TSA guys statements actually make sense. First they escort him out of an area and then others threaten him for leaving for leaving that area. The guy just wants to cancel his trip and leave the airport and then they tell him he has to go back and go through the procedure he had just refused which caused him to decide not to fly.

On the day of the incident a TSA supervisor can be heard saying that some workers weren't up on the latest procedures and then in the above article a TSA official smugly (in an attempt to put too fine a point on the amount of trouble the victim Tyner is in) pointed out that the airport TSA officials don't even know the current fine amount.

“That’s the old fine,” Aguilar said. “It has been increased.”

If these people can't even keep up with the current fines for refusing to accept an invasion of privacy, bad behavior, stupid procedures, long lines and a process that seems to produce little or no increased security how can they keep up with security matters that are important?

"By buying your ticket you gave up a lot of rights," countered the TSA supervisor. Really? They're going to protect our rights by taking them away.

When one doubles down on this kind of foolishness they just create the aura of condensing dumb and dumber into a single Sybil symbol of stupidity. How is it that the public gets this, the very ones the TSA magnanimously states they are trying to protect, but the TSA and government don't? Welcome to big government.

Get Grabbed, Groped Or Charged As You Celebrate Our Thanksgiving As A Free Nation

We leave for Thanksgiving, a national holiday to celebrate our free nation, later this week and will have forced on us intrusive measures the Obama Administration says are needed. The measures will include taking pictures of our genitals, having them rubbed and lines of really angry voters. There is nothing that can be done to stop it. Obama, Napolitano and the rest of progressive know-nothings have decreed it so they look like they're actually doing something to protect our country.

They won't secure our borders or arrest illegals, but they will threaten and bully those that refuse having their groins rubbed and they'll make probable 3 year old terrorists cry. But as far a children go the TSA suggests making this outrage a game or something fun.

I have a suggestion for Obama, et al, quit this crap because you are treating security as a game, an electoral game to make it appear you know what you are doing. You haven't a clue. That you haven't a clue is only made more obvious by violating, legally it seems, the basic rights and freedom of Americans.

Gateway Pundit has more about how citizens that refuse to be groped will be charged with a crime, but the screen grab from the Drudge Report says it all.

This is wrong on so many levels. It is a reactive approach to security that isn't really functional. It is a security measure that is making us the laughing stock of the world, especially among those with bin Laden when they laughed as the twin towers fell. It is a violation of our rights. It is also just another ridiculous measure by a government that couldn't run a lemonade stand, but tells all others how to run their business.

al-Qaeda cannot be beaten! BS.

I call BS. Anyone can be beaten. Those that lose either didn't adequately plan to fight and win or didn't want to win. That a "top" British soldier is being quoted here will be news all over the miserable murdering world of Islamofascists in the next few days. Which is why it was published.

Britain's top soldier says al-Qaeda cannot be beaten

The general said: "In conventional war, defeat and victory is very clear cut and is symbolised by troops marching into another nation's capital. First of all you have to ask: do we need to defeat it [Islamist militancy] in the sense of a clear cut victory? I would argue that it is unnecessary and would never be achieved.
What will not be part of the story throughout Islamonutso World is:
"But can we contain it to the point that our lives and our children's lives are led securely? I think we can."
Can al-Qaeda be defeated? Yes. Will we defeat al-Qaeda? Not with the administration we currently have because they not only do not know how to defeat al-Qaeda they do not really want to defeat al-Qaeda. They don't have the guts nor the inner-necessity to fight this evil.
That's the problem. It is also a problem that a "top" British soldier cannot contain his diarrhea of the mouth which emboldens our Islamofascist enemy.

Sorry Charlie! Only The Best Tuna....

Crist: No regrets on quitting GOP

The Terror Ties Of The Congressional Muslim Staff Association Prayer Sessions

From Webutante

"And it's not  surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations..." Barack Obama, 2008

Among those who FoxNews.com determined have attended the prayer services during the Clinton, George W. Bush and Obama administrations are:
— Anwar al-Awlaki, the notorious Al Qaeda cleric believed to be hiding in Yemen and the lone American on the U.S. government’s capture or kill list, who conducted a prayer service on Capitol Hill shortly after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
— Randall “Ismail” Royer, a former communications associate for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), who confessed in 2004 to receiving jihadist training in Pakistan. He is serving a 20-year prison term.
— Anwar Hajjaj, former president of Taibah International Aid Association, which was designated a terrorist organization by the U.S. and U.N. in 2004.
— Esam Omeish, the former president of the Muslim American Society, who was forced to resign from the Virginia Commission on Immigration in 2007 after calling for "the jihad way," among other remarks.
— Salam Al-Marayati, president of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, who was forced to step down from a national terrorism committee post in 1999 for pro-terrorist comments.
— Nihad Awad, CAIR executive director, who attended a Hamas meeting in Philadelphia in 1993 that was wiretapped by the FBI.
— Johari Abdul Malik, Dar al-Hijrah imam, who made statements in support of convicted and suspected terrorists who attended his mosque.
— Tariq Ramadan, a Muslim scholar banned from the U.S. for six years beginning in 2004 for his alleged ties and donations to terror groups. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton lifted Ramadan's ban in January.
—  Abdulaziz Othman Al-Twaijri, the head of a division of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, considered a foreign agent by the U.S.
It is unclear who else has attended these services, because there appears to be no public record of those CMSA has invited to Capitol Hill. The group’s website, included in the official congressional staff associations directory, displays an error message. And out of the more than 25 people associated with CMSA whom FoxNews.com contacted for this article — members, participants, guests, listed officers, congressional sponsors and Muslim advocacy groups — only one person was willing to speak
The one person willing to speak on the record was pretty unsure of anything about anything except:
When asked if he is in the video of the service or had attended any service on Capitol Hill led by Awlaki, Hooper said, “I don’t even remember. I don’t have a real big interest in furthering Fox News' anti-Muslim agenda, but thanks for calling.”
Be sure to watch the video and to read about this. As Webutante points out, information and stories about the prayer sessions and the group are fast disappearing.

Unions And DNC Want To Screw Cleveland And Ohio. Again

One would think that places like Cleveland, a city that Democrats can count on to find the votes necessary to win 'elections', would learn that Democrats and unions don't care about them. One would think.

A union representing hotel workers has asked the Democratic National Committee to rule out two of its four convention-site finalists, Cleveland and Charlotte, N.C., because they lack sufficient unionized hotel facilities.
"Among the DNC's four finalist cities, only St. Louis and Minneapolis" have the capacity to "house a large portion of the delegates and other guests ... in unionized hotels," John Wilhelm, president of the international UNITE HERE union of hotel and textile workers, wrote in a letter to DNC Chairman Tim Kaine.
Let them go to St. Louis or Minneapolis. Ohio doesn't want them. We''ll make money and create jobs the old fashioned way. Honestly.

Religion Of Peace Protests Veterans Day In London Burns Symbols

Poppy-burning Muslim protesters mar Armistice Day commemorations as millions fall silent to remember war dead
Islamic protesters sparked fury today after they burned a model of a poppy and deliberately broke the silence at Armistice Day commemorations in central London.

As millions of Britons fell silent to remember those who have died in war, members of a group called Muslims Against Crusades clashed with police during an 'emergency demonstration' in Kensington, west London.

As the clock struck 11am, the Islamic protesters burned a model of a poppy and chanted 'British soldiers burn in hell'.

If Muslims around the world are opposed to this type of activity and terrorism in general, why is there no backlash by them against this type of activity. Their silence speaks volumes.

Government Finally Really Interferes With Life As We Know It

From Maggie Thurber

An end to out-of-state beer?

Free Trade!

Washington Examiner Nails It. FILIBUSTER

The icon of union/big government/machine politics, Illinois, can't find a few literate officials to finalize the necessary paperwork so Senator-elect Kirk can take his seat in Congress. It may be an education problem.

Senate GOP should filibuster if Kirk is delayed

Maybe those fighting Illini could dig up some voters or elected officials to fill in the blanks. They don't seem to have problems with forms when it comes to elections. Or a community organizer. They also don't have a problem with forms either unless they get caught.

FDA The Despot Of Death & The Despot Of Living

Ann Althouse led me to this page on the FDA website:

How about we post photographs and other imagery on different government sites warning of what too much government means to the people. Oh, there are the usual images from Russia, Germany, China, North Korea, Iran and others, but then there are also images of desolation, despondency and other results of desperate lives resulting from over regulation from over powerful governments.

But then some freak from the bureaucratically engineered society known as government will weep as they explain it is all for the children. At least for those children that survived government encouraged and paid for abortions. Logic only shows that those children won't need such warnings.

Ratigan & Rall Call For Violence To Increase Their Profits & To Dig Up A FDR To Lead A New America

All dumb and dumber jokes aside the level of ignorance displayed in the clip makes one wonder if they were trying to outdo each other. Ratigan, whose work covers an industry Rall despises, was clearly in sync with Rall as they ticked off their agreed upon script and talking points. Rall, who is a cartoonist, wants the world to know he loves America, but believes it has needed to be undone since agitators fired the first shots at Kent State. Rall thinks America needs a redo and he is happy to remake America in his vision which is pretty damned scary to anyone who values honesty and ethics let alone freedom.

Ratigan is really just a talking head trying to increase his bottom line. Not too bright, but probably pleasing to many dimwits who watch him. Rall is really a truly despicable elitist who doesn't have much to be elitist about and as most elitists, he's a hater. He hates America, but he loathes conservatives, voters and especially soldiers and the military.

Their duo act is apropos as voters just voted as they did to display disgust with the vision du jour that progressives see for America. Yes, it is about jobs, but voters realize that jobs will not appear with this vision of governance.

Ratigan and Rall deserve each other. America doesn't

At What Point Did America Allow Morons To Run Our Lives?

Really. When did we say go right ahead and take the power to micromanage our lives? More importantly, at what point did we allow mommyesque morons to tell us that we are out of line to protest this takeover of our lives?

New nutrition rules may be no party for students
The cake, cookies and candy at the school parties you might remember will become a no-no if the state approves new nutrition guidelines.

No soup for you! Mike targets salt sellers
Mayor Bloomberg's latest health campaign -- cutting salt intake -- has targeted soup as one of the big sodium offenders to be taken down with new city ads.

CALIFORNIA / Sex questions found not to violate parents' rights / Despite indecorum of parts of survey, court denies appeal
"Parents have a right to inform their children when and as they wish on the subject of sex," said Judge Stephen Reinhardt in the 3-0 ruling. "They have no constitutional right, however, to prevent a public school from providing its students with whatever information it wishes to provide, sexual or otherwise."

There is consistency here if you look at the weather in their world.
  •  Individuals do not have the right to make individual decisions.
  • Government has the power to force its will on the governed because elected officials do not do the actual rule making and enforcement of government power.
  • Government units are more important than societal, family and local units.
In our world there are people making decisions for us that we have no right to refuse. I guess, to make our lives easier, we have acted like morons to allow this.

The Real 'Shellacking' The Democrats Got

In terms of legislation (including push back of legislation on states by the US Congress), the deep replenishing of the Republican back bench and a rejection of progressive statist crap, the Democrats totally lost on redistricting. Good.

State legislatures before the 2010 election
State legislatures after the 2010 election

These elections have set the liberal agenda back at least 10 years which is absolutely great news for Americans. The incredible rejection at the local level will not only affect legislation at the local, but also at the state and federal levels. The take over of so many state legislatures by Republicans will also decide which party will lose seats due to redistricting, but also which party will gain seats in those states with a growing population. Here in Ohio there will be a loss of two congressional seats because people have fled the liberal/progressive assault on business and individuals through taxation and repressive control of the citizenry. Because of the election Republicans will now decide which two seats will be erased from our congressional map.

If Republicans act like as republicans, not some smug hierarchical country club like Roman Senators from the Palatine, we will set the progressive agenda back for a generation in 2012.

Keith Olbermann Suspended For Ethical Violations? Huh?

Musta been the straw that broke that very strong camel's back. The man is a walking violation of every ethical standard that's so much as been thought of.

Olbermann suspended for Dem contributions

Well, he obviously needed a time out. Bonus for the crockery cracking department: he'll tweet like crazy and that is always fun to watch. Like a slo-mo train wreck. Peckinpah style. With crazy people on board.
