Isoroku Obamamoto On SCOTUS ObamaCare Decision

"I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."

And, he'd be right to tremble. Now, finally, the giant is angry.

Nixonian Law - It's The Coverup On Fast And Furious

It isn't the crime. It is the coverup. And Obama, our Constututional Scholar, hasn't a clue abou how he has undermined the rule of law because his total focus is on getting re-elected. He'll be more flexible then, you see.

President Obama asserted executive privilege over documents related to the “Fast and Furious” operation Wednesday as a House panel moved to hold Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. in contempt after he failed to hand over documents related to a congressional inquiry into the scandal.

Gee, it's not like he just broke the law and legalized illegal aliens to get them to vote for him, now he has given himself the right to kill them with impudency.

Obama: End Of The Constitution?

via Bob's Blog

Ann Barnhardt takes Obama seriously. She explains why here:

Why the NDRP E.O. of 3/16/2012 is Different
Posted by Ann Barnhardt - March 18, AD 2012 8:46 PM MST
I'm getting really, really sick of these pundits and talking heads on the so-called "right" clucking their tongues at the unwashed masses and telling us that we're crazy and paranoid to be the least bit concerned each and every time the Obama regime takes another stride toward totalitarianism. And it is EACH AND EVERY TIME.

Let me break it down for Ed Morrissey, and all of the other pundits in that social circle so that you can get your heads around this. We are concerned and even, dare I say it, panicked, because we can see the big picture of the Obama regime for what it is. We can take the totality of the dataset and draw not just a logical, reasoned conclusion, but a conclusion that is supported by centuries - nay millenia - of past precedent. We are, as Patrick Henry put it,"willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it."

Why is the 3/16/2012 Executive Order worthy of grave concern? Simply put, because of the man and the regime who issued it. This is a man, and a regime that has done the following:
-Sent the Secretary of Defense (Leon Panetta) to Congress to put them on notice that despite the explicitness of the Constitution, the consent of the Congress to wage war will neither be solicited nor required by the Commander in Chief or his regime. The CiC and SECDEF may, if they feel like it and can find the time, MAY inform the Congress of "kinetic military actions" henceforth.
-Declared the First Amendment null and void by mandating that every American must, as a condition of legal residency in the United States, pay for abortions. Mr. Morrissey, being a Catholic, you should understand that what the Obama regime has done is demand your very soul. In order to remain corporeally "free" in the United States of America, you must enter into mortal sin, reject Jesus Christ in totality, turn your back on your Crucified Savior, excommunicate yourself from the Church, and consign your immortal soul to eternal hell. If that isn't the prohibiting of the free exercise of religion, then nothing is or ever could be.

-Committed acts of war upon the sovereign nation of Mexico and her people, willfully arming narco-terrorists with the intent of using the optics of hundreds if not thousands of brutally murdered Mexicans in order to stir up and justify the overthrow of the Second Amendment to the Constitution. This is textbook sedition.

-Has coordinated with regime cronies in the Legislative Branch to enable the Obama regime to operate for an entire term WITH NO BUDGET WHATSOEVER. In this time, the Obama regime has looted the United States Treasury and debased the currency of the United States to the tune of SEVEN TRILLION DOLLARS, or roughly one-half the gross domestic product.
This is just a very, very, very short list. Additionally, with each passing day it is being further revealed that EVERY SINGLE PERSON Barack Obama has ever associated with has been not merely a Marxist, not merely a Socialist, not merely a Communist, but a TOTALITARIAN hellbent on the destruction of the United States of America.

I'll concede the point that if this Executive Order was issued by - get this - Jimmy Carter or even Bill Clinton, I could buy the idea that it was merely an emergency protocol housekeeping item of some sort geared toward the reaction of the Federal Government after a nuclear attack. I'd be skeptical, but I would be open to the argument.

Not so now. These people are totalitarian tyrants who are no longer even trying to hide their intentions. See the bulleted items above. There comes a point where you have to pull your head out of the sand, synthesize a massive dataset into its obvious, coherent output, and be willing to know the worst, and to provide for it.

Denying the obvious, even when the obvious is horrific, is not some sort of virtue. Keeping people numb to reality and drunk on a sugary treacle of distraction and reassurance that "everything's okay" even when every iota of data and experience tells us that everything is NOT OKAY is not a virtuous public service. It is a massive failure in charity, both towards those who are misled and falsely-consoled by your assurances, and toward those whose intellects and intentions you backhandedly insult.

Remember, people exactly like Ed Morrissey and his ilk were calling everyone warning of Hitler's danger to mankind "alarmist", "conspiracy theorists" and "paranoid" up until 4:40 am on September 1, 1939 when the Luftwaffe attacked Weilun. And before that mess was over, 70 million human beings were dead. The hell that the Obama regime is determined to unleash on the world will make World War II look like a mere bar fight.

Yeah, I'm sorry I can't tell you the day, hour and minute that open war is going to break out, both overseas and here in the homeland, or the exact date, time and high-tick in the markets before the entire system implodes. There is a name for people who claim to know exact dates of future events - they're called CHARLATANS. If that failure makes me non-credible and paranoid, then I wear that sash with pride, and am consoled and flattered by the caliber of the company of Jeremiahs and Cassandras throughout history that I join. But I do know that it is coming, and that the NDRP Executive Order of 3/16/2012 is, WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF THE DAY AND THE REGIME THAT ISSUED IT, entirely ominous and certainly tactical.

I'll leave you with the video of Larry Grathwohl, which can never, ever be posted, spread and publicized too much. Recorded in 1980, when Barack Obama was nothing more than a drug-addled foreign student at Occidental College and not yet even a glimmer in the eye of the Totalitarians who would later adopt him as their public persona, Grathwohl recounts conversations led by Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, the founders and leaders of the Weather Underground, the Marxist-Communist-Totalitarian terrorist group that Grathwohl was tasked to infiltrate, and the eventual intimates, ghostwriter and political handlers of Barack and Michelle Obama. The Totalitarian cabal that runs the Obama regime has intended, for decades, to collapse the United States, overthrow it, establish a Totalitarian oligarchy, and as a necessary corollary to that, murder at least ten percent of the population as "die-hard, unreformable capitalists." In 1980, that 10% worked out to 25 million human beings. Today, it would be 31 million - but heck, what's another Holocaust (6 million) give or take?
Today, you are either Churchill or you are Chamberlain."

Obama: Constitutional Squalor

President Obama's stunning ignorance of constitutional law.

He appears to have missed the class on diplomacy as well. I guess he didn’t have the energy.

Obama Would Criminalize The Founding Fathers For Their Overt Religious Views In Governance

The Continental Congress opened every meeting imploring God to favor their thoughts and decisions about how the United States of America would be governed. Today's liberal (modern) interpreters of the Founding Father's vision deplore religion and seek to erase it not just from government, but also from the everyday life of Americans.

They do so directly and obliquely. The courts find fault with all Christian religion directly and now, the Obama administration is obliquely attacking Christianity by forcing the Catholic Church to violate a basic principle of their religion to make them "compatible" with our their "constitution."

From the top, we have the Obama administration’s new health care mandate requiring religious organizations to provide health insurance for certain procedures that are inimical to their core beliefs. Christian groups such as the Catholic Church would be required to cover abortions even though these groups see the medical procedure as a heinous act, a mortal sin. In order to comply with the order, these organizations must abandon their teachings. It would be rank hypocrisy for them to follow the Obamacare mandate.

We also have attacks by such lowlife individuals such as Mayor Bloomberg of New York City whose true religion is preaching what he believes others should whether they agree or not. Of course, NYC's streets still suck and business is fleeing, but religion and salt are more important to Bloomberg (also gun control as witnessed by his despicable lying ad during the Super Bowl).

On the bottom, we have New York City. The City has a policy of renting out empty public schools for use by local groups. It can be used for nearly any purpose but religious services. The Second Circuit Court of Appeal has recently upheld this practice. On first blush, this may seem reasonable as government cannot promote religion. However, the First Amendment also prohibits government from punishing religion. If the government opens up their property for use by non-religious groups, it must afford the same access to religious groups. Think of the legal absurdity of the Second Circuit’s ruling, an atheist group can hold a rally in a NYC public school denouncing god but a religious group cannot hold a service to praise God. The verbal jujitsu used by the Second Circuit to rationalize its decision is breath taking. In upholding the policy, it claims that it is not banning a religious view point but an activity – worship services; but by banning worship services, the government can now dictate how one expresses their religious viewpoint. Why the Supreme Court took a pass on this case is perplexing.

From the Warren Court down to even lesser minds such as Obama and Bloomberg we have liberals demanding that our Constitution is a "living document" so they can alter it to defile our founder's true intention, especially in terms of religion.

Catholics must fund that they find against God's will and atheists can use public property to ridicule Christianity, but Christians are prohibited from using the same or similar property to celebrate the love of God.

This is blatantly unconstitutional. It is also a display of hypocrisy and outright lying that our founders thought only a despot like King Charles III could exhibit. It never occurred to them that lying hypocrites would take control of the greatest government ever formed in the history of mankind.

May God, the founders and the millions of murdered babies forgive them.

I can't.

Obama Admin Floats Suspension Of Democracy

The floating of ideas, even bad ones, as trial balloons is a common practice by presidential administrations. Many times it is done in an attempt to effect a dramatic change in policy, but for this administration who openly wants to emasculate our constitution, floating an idea which would utterly destroy our most sacred right, the vote, is more than alarming, it is treasonous.

I wish it were not necessary to devise processes to circumvent legislative gridlock, but polarization isn’t going away. John Adams may have been exaggerating when he pessimistically noted that democracies tend to commit suicide, yet, as we are seeing, certain aspects of representative government can end up posing serious problems. And so, we might be a healthier democracy if we were a slightly less democratic one.” Peter Orszag- former OMB director and current Citibank executive

"You have to have more ability from Congress, I think, to work together and to get over the partisan bickering and focus on fixing things. I think we ought to suspend, perhaps, elections for Congress for two years and just tell them we won't hold it against them, whatever decisions they make, to just let them help this country recover. I really hope that someone can agree with me on that. The one good thing about Raleigh is that for so many years we worked across party lines. It's a little bit more contentious now but it's not impossible to try to do what's right in this state. You want people who don't worry about the next election." NC Gov Bev Perdue

I say we use the mechanics of our Republic, if possible, and call for special elections this coming November for all federal offices up to and including the office of President. That is an idea that could get some serious lift in the trial balloon methodology of current politics.

Joe Biden, Constitutional Scholar, Must Impeach Obama

Joe is, well, a man of his word. Really. It's just which word he chooses to stand by and he has so many words to choose from. He isn't called Jabberin' Joe for nothing. Joe's got latitude.

I expect the impeachment papers to be on someones's desk no later than this afternoon. It's a fact. Joe's got himself some bidness. And he's got 5, not 4 and not 6, but 5 leading constitutional scholars screaming, "Impeach!" and Joe is all about serious bidness. And the constitution. And scholarship.

IMPEACH NOW, DIRE VOW! WOW...

Separation Of Churl & State

Since liberals and progressives like to use letters in place of the constitution as was done by KKK'er, Hugo Black, I think we can use a letter by Franklin Delano Roosevelt concerning public sector unions and collective bargaining.

My dear Mr. Steward:
As I am unable to accept your kind invitation to be present on the occasion of the Twentieth Jubilee Convention of the National Federation of Federal Employees, I am taking this method of sending greetings and a message.

Reading your letter of July 14, 1937, I was especially interested in the timeliness of your remark that the manner in which the activities of your organization have been carried on during the past two decades "has been in complete consonance with the best traditions of public employee relationships." Organizations of Government employees have a logical place in Government affairs.

The desire of Government employees for fair and adequate pay, reasonable hours of work, safe and suitable working conditions, development of opportunities for advancement, facilities for fair and impartial consideration and review of grievances, and other objectives of a proper employee relations policy, is basically no different from that of employees in private industry. Organization on their part to present their views on such matters is both natural and logical, but meticulous attention should be paid to the special relationships and obligations of public servants to the public itself and to the Government.

All Government employees should realize that the process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service. It has its distinct and insurmountable limitations when applied to public personnel management. The very nature and purposes of Government make it impossible for administrative officials to represent fully or to bind the employer in mutual discussions with Government employee organizations. The employer is the whole people, who speak by means of laws enacted by their representatives in Congress. Accordingly, administrative officials and employees alike are governed and guided, and in many instances restricted, by laws which establish policies, procedures, or rules in personnel matters.

Particularly, I want to emphasize my conviction that militant tactics have no place in the functions of any organization of Government employees. Upon employees in the Federal service rests the obligation to serve the whole people, whose interests and welfare require orderliness and continuity in the conduct of Government activities. This obligation is paramount. Since their own services have to do with the functioning of the Government, a strike of public employees manifests nothing less than an intent on their part to prevent or obstruct the operations of Government until their demands are satisfied. Such action, looking toward the paralysis of Government by those who have sworn to support it, is unthinkable and intolerable. It is, therefore, with a feeling of gratification that I have noted in the constitution of the National Federation of Federal Employees the provision that "under no circumstances shall this Federation engage in or support strikes against the United States Government."

I congratulate the National Federation of Federal Employees the twentieth anniversary of its founding and trust that the convention will, in every way, be successful.
Very sincerely yours,

Churls now presume to extract that which doesn't belong to them, power over the public purse and demands that the people pay for this excess. The same Hugo Black wrote, not in a letter, on this abuse by groups on the mass of citizens.

"I cannot consider the Bill of Rights to be an outworn 18th century 'strait jacket.' ... Its provisions may be thought outdated abstractions by some. And it is true that they were designed to meet ancient evils. But they are the same kind of human evils that have emerged from century to century wherever excessive power is sought by the few at the expense of the many."

Indeed, human evils seeking excessive power for the few at the expense of the many may be stated as the separation of churls & state. Let it be done.

Obama's HealthCare Individual Mandate Is Unconstitutional!

Just out - since the mandate is unconstitutional the entire act is unconstitutional. No stay was granted.

He ruled that Congress over stepped its boundary by forcing individuals to purchase anything.

Jerrold Nadler Best Constitution Scholar Evah!

Jerrold, our bon vivant about town and from the scholarly climes of truth versus the idiotic said that the reading of the Constitution was ritualistic, ergo wrong, appears to be neither a scholar nor a knowledgeable person. Surprising? Nah.

I stole this shamelessly from The Coalition of the Swilling. It's what I envision if Jerrold was asked to quote that which he studied with Talmudic intensity which he claims he has done. Jerrold is a fool and a buffoon. But who didn't know that, eh?

Jerrold Nadler To Pick Up Mantle Of "Clown Of Congress" From Defeated Alan Grayson

Reporters, worried that classic clown fodder would no longer be available with the defeat of Alan Grayson are relieved that Jerrold of Wall Street has, without skipping a beat, continued Alan Grayson's clown act in congress with stupidly false statements.

House Republicans Say Democrats Can Join in Recitation of Constitution

The exercise, apparently prompted by loud complaints that Democratic lawmakers and the Obama administration have ignored the Constitution, has drawn ridicule in some quarters. Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), former chairman of the Judiciary subcommittee on the Constitution, said the GOP is treating the founding document like a "sacred text." Nadler called it a "ritualistic reading" for propaganda purposes.

It is not clear if Grayson left his famously large clown shoes for Nadler's use or if Nadler has had his own custom shoes fitted.

How Stupid Are The Washington Post, Newsweek & MSNBC For Not Knowing How Stupid Ezra Klein Is?

Nora: (giggle) They are going to read the Constitution aloud. Is this a gimmick"

Ezra: Yes, it's a gimmick (giggle).

Reading comprehension isn't what it used to be, eh? Say, over 100 years ago?

No Legislation Without Representation

I own the World has a great post you should read and comment on and then pass along to other people concerning the circumvention of our Constitution.

‘We The People’ Need to Protect Our Constitution

'We the people' means nothing to Obama and his administration so it it time we the people take our government back.

Do We Need A Larger Congress?

Size matters, lawsuit says of U.S. House

They want more representatives in the House so states like Ohio won't lost congressmen.

Yeah, when the local Weight Watchers group stops losing weight they'll just increase the size of the doughnut selection.

Judge: You Can't Make Them Buy Health Insurance!

About time! Congress and the Obama Administration has been shredding the Constitution for two years and it's time someone said "Stop."

Judge rejects key part of Obama healthcare law

Elections still mean something, as in the will of the people, and the over reach of liberals/progressives/socialists has been rejected. Now is time to start rolling back the crap they have foisted on us since 1929.

How Badly Does Obama Not Want To Be President?

His first first-grade gaffe, that I remember, was his 57 states comment which even school children used to know as wrong. He has had so many that they have become tiresome, but his newest is so ignorant and pandering that it is embarrassing. Many pundits have already commented that his staff should be checking these things before they are put on TOTUS for the One to read, but my comment is that he should have spotted it and fired the moron that slipped this gem into a speech. That he didn't makes him a moron.

Other pundits have spoken of Obama's refusal to utter the words "by their creator" in his speech. That is not news. He omitted the words on purpose.

He spoke of "inalienable rights" as if that was a concept of Mexico, Spain or any other culture in the Americas. First, "Long before America was even an idea, this land of plenty was home to many peoples. The British and French, the Dutch and Spanish, to Mexicans, to countless Indian tribes. We all shared the same land," Obama said to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

Huh?

Spain got free of Mexico in 1821. For kids currently in school this is important, because 1821 was more than a few years after the founding of the United States of America let alone since the idea of an America first popped into the heads of our founders. Plus, there was that dust up at the Alamo in 1836 where rights were being taken away by Mexico and the different peoples of the land weren't sharing too many values with the dictator of Mexico.

So, was it Antonio de Padua María Severino López de Santa Anna y Pérez de Lebrón that spoke of "inalienable rights" as he watched the dead men of the Alamo burned? Possibly Geronimo? Oh, that's right it was Tommy Jefferson and his friends batting around that phrase. And they did so long before anyone else was pandering with phrases like, "Can't we all just get along."

I think our president isn't making any long term plans for more glittery parties post 2012, because he either knows he isn't up to the job of being president or he has already grown tired of it. If he is, whew, whoever bestowed "Constitutional Scholar" on him should be fired immediately. I may be stretching here, but I hope that Obama knows of the link between the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Maybe he thinks that if Jefferson thought it important that Jefferson would've put a hyper-link in the Constitution. Just a thought.

Space Votes To Shred Constitution

Zack. Can we talk? You're killing your constituents. Apparently on purpose. Did Nanna promise you extra ice cream? I mean it is obvious why Kilroy, Wilson and people like Driehaus voted for this Democrat protection bill, they're not quite right, but you?  You've voted to laden your district with more taxes, you've voted to put a lot of your constituents out of work, you've voted to burden your constuents with debt for generations and now you vote to ensure you can do so with impunity for as long as you want.

H.R. 5175:

to amend the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 to prohibit foreign influence in Federal elections, to prohibit government contractors from making expenditures with respect to such elections, and to establish additional disclosure requirements with respect to spending in such elections, and for other purposes

Motion to reconsider laid on the table Agreed to without objection.
On passage Passed by recorded vote: 219 - 206 (Roll no. 391).

GM is restricted in supporting its best interests and that of its workers and shareholders, but the unions crippling GM, its workers and its shareholders can spend, even borrow, what ever it wants to support its socialist platform and elected officials. Whoa Zack, them ain't exactly rules according to Hoyle. Well, you probably knew that when you voted. BTW, did you guys get around to reading this bill?

Why do you hold us in such low regard Zack? Of course you'll probably just chuckle and say that we voted for you. Zack, we've got a problem here. You plan to ever be around to talk?

Obama Uses Oil Spill To Slip Another Takeover Through - You Body

This is from Zero Hedge which pretty much nails the story. I'm sure they hammered this out in between pizza, beer and a few trips to the WH balcony for a butt or two.

Obama Begins "Lifestyle Health Modification" Program, Mandating Behavioural Changes Within US Society

I love this little item:

(g) carry out such other activities as are determined appropriate by the President.

Determined appropriate by a Chicago pol? Maybe they'll buck you up with some Capone aerobics. With cement sneakers. One size fits all. Republicans.
