Liberal Carrion Feed On Kennedy

This is getting like The Jerry Springer Show, only in Congress. Well, I guess that isn't too much of a stretch.

REID SHOCK: KENNEDY DEATH 'GOING TO HELP US'

Politicians using death to pass yet another unconstitutional bill
Nancy Pelosi’s office reportedly sent an email to reporters at around 2:30 a.m. on August 26 just hours after Senator Kennedy’s death.

“Ted Kennedy’s dream of quality health care for all Americans will be made real this year because of his leadership and his inspiration.”

South Carolina Rep. and house majority whip James Clyburn also issued a statement
“As we move forward with health reform legislation, his absence will be palpable. But let us use his inspirational words as our guide, to rise to our best ideals and finally provide decent quality health care to all Americans as a fundamental right, not a privilege.”

Al Gore said “Ted would want nothing more than for his colleagues to continue his life’s work and to make real his dream of quality health care for all Americans.”

The alleged former grand wizard of the kkk Senator Robert Byrd said

“In his honor and as a tribute to his commitment to his ideals, let us stop the shouting and name calling and have a civilized debate on health care reform which I hope, when legislation has been signed into law, will bear his name for his commitment to insuring the health of every American.”

If You Like Government Controlled Health Care Get Ready For Government Controlled Yard Sales

The ever growing federal government thirsts for more control over every aspect of your life. It is, afterall, your tax dollars they are spending to protect you from yourself.

Seller, beware: Feds cracking down on secondhand sales of some products
The crackdown affects sellers ranging from major thrift-store operators such as Goodwill and the Salvation Army to everyday Americans cleaning out their attics for yard sales, church bazaars or - increasingly - digital hawking on eBay, Craigslist and other Web sites.

Secondhand sellers now must keep abreast of recalls for thousands of products, some of them stretching back more than a decade, to stay within the bounds of the law.

Staffers for the federal agency are fanning out across the country to conduct training seminars on the regulations at dozens of thrift shops.

I wonder if my Tonka trucks, Zorro sword and Flexible Flyer sled would be illegal to sell now?

Rep. Jan Schakowski's Hired Guns Censor Opponents of Health Care "Reform"

via Gateway Pundit

“The President is only kidding himself if he thinks Americans can’t see what’s coming,” said CPR Chairman Rick Scott. “When Democrats like Barney Frank and Jan Schakowsky admit on tape that the public option will lead to a full blown government takeover of the system, it’s time to drop the charade - or better yet, drop the public option from the bill.”

It is interesting that HCAN has had a hand in framing the legislation and is now trying to control the dialogue.

From Ft Hard Knox

I have read the “lefty” blogs and the propaganda put out by the Administration. I have read how the Health Care Bill has been “written” or “influenced” by such organizations as Health Care for America Now (HCAN),MoveOn.Org, SEIU, Democracy For America. AFSCME, Annenberg Public Policy Center. I have read that George Soros is throwing money into this fight and trying to buy support (someone has to be paying for all those “grassroots” protestors). Soros is a greedy, greedy man who has never done anything without a plan for him to gain more money and more power. He actually feels this current bill is not enough of a move to a “single payer” system, but is supporting it as a stepping stone. He sees the end result, so why don’t freedom loving Americans?

Funny how Socialist George Soros and unions keep showing up, eh?

Disposable Jews

Now that many on the left feel that Israel is creating the new holocaust, which is a horrifying lie, a reminder of entire communities that were murdered simply for being Jewish. The concentration camps are vivid in their cruelty, but there was also the personal execution, carried out in front of each other, of entire town populations of Jews. Though not as crudely as the socialist Nazis, there are those today, in America, that believe that once again that Jews are disposable.

The Last Jew in Vinnitsa [Ukraine, 1941]… This was found in the personal album of an Einsatzguppen soldier. It was labelled on the back “The last Jew of Vinnitsa”. All 28,000 of the Jews living there were killed at the time….
I believe that some Americans feel this way because they are more socialist than human.

The oldest known color photograph: 1872

Before the Autochrome process was perfected in France, this photograph of a landscape in Southern France was taken. No, it is not hand-tinted. This is a color-photograph. (Note: It was published in a Time/Life Book entitled "Color" in 1972, "courtesey of George Eastman House, Paulus Lesser.") You are looking at the birth of color photography seven years after the American Civil War. 130 years ago this view of Angouleme, France, was created by a "subtractive" method. This is the basis for all color photography, even today. It was taken by Louis Ducos du Hauron who proposed the method in 1869. It was not until the 1930's that this method was perfected for commercial use.
