As Country Falls Apart The Loons Come Out

The Dixie Chicks are quiet. Must be in rehab. I'm ashamed that they are from the United States of America.

Rich Galen mulls spying.

As several of them were arrested right here in Alexandria, Virginia, I could have been their control officer. I could have used secret writing techniques to pass them confidential notes like:

M.E.E.T. M.E. A.T. T.H.E. S.T.A.R.B.U.C.K.S

Then, I could attend the meeting without being detected because people would think I was stopping in at the Starbucks as I do every day. Hiding in plain sight. That's my recognized spy talent.

The Hell With Equality?

Here in Ohio as well as other states there are candidates who want to roll back the gains in equality we as a state and a nation have made. Their goal is to split people off, treat them unfairly and ridicule them if they protest. We have seen this before, groups that belittle and punish others through exploitation for their own advantage.

If Ted Strickland won't lead this state then I will. I call for restoring the top income-tax rate on taxpayers who make over $200,000 per year. - Dennis Spisak, Green Party candidate for Ohio Governor

If these candidates had any guts they'd step up and say for the good of all, all must pay more, even that majority that pays no income tax at all. It is shallow to not see this. Obama does and he's raising taxes on all, everyone, people. The fight for equality never ends.

And so witness the spectacle of Cincinnati, a city that is down on its luck and its population, faces a $50 million deficit next year, and is home to the worst mascot in the history of professional sports (see right), anxiously awaiting signs that the feds will shovel some money their way in a ridiculous plot to build a streetcar system in the Queen City:

When will the world realize that "green" means money in a bad way, at least how it is envisioned now.
