As a commenter pointed out, Romney has already lost the youth vote because of his vanilliness. Oh, and the fact that he is old. If Romney is in trouble with youth then Obama is not only in trouble with youth, but also black youth and liberal older Democrats who tend to say stupid things when ever they open their mouth, but I repeat myself. Their votes are gone!

How absolutely wonderful that we have named parts of Islam legitimate and for an extra point we have also identified which Islamists are legitimately practicing it. We know who is legitimate because this administration has doubled ObamaCare’s savings by employing its death panels to remove those costing us too much money from the system.

This ending of the war on terror will impress those few, those very few, who still want to kill us into laying down their IEDs and joining the GOTV effort on behalf of Obama. Now Obama can bring all of our troops home, say around October? Trillions of dollars will immediately be freed up to address our ballooning national debt actually making it disappear by November 1^st! All of this magic will carpet our governance from cubicle to cubicle and it will once again be morning in America.

For everyone else the war will continue.

Delta County Airport in Escanaba received a grant of $179,209 to install a 10 foot perimeter fence to enhance security and prevent wildlife from entering the airport.

The Political Cost Of Health Care

Much has been said of the economic cost of health care which, simply put is that we can't afford this bill of entitlements. The political cost may be higher for the Democrats.

They probably have lost the pro-life vote for the foreseeable future. This will cut across many religious groups. It is unfortunate to the nth degree that Nancy Pelosi, allegedly a Catholic, directed this fight.

Many different political groups have been awakened from their slumber. Conservatives that thought their back was covered have rejoined the fray. Republicans who were uncommitted are now energized. Moderate Republicans who do that, "Oh, I just vote for the best candidate," now see in stark terms what that has accomplished. Independents and especially those that weren't interested in politics may not know that the Republican Party is their home, but they well know now that the Democrat Party is not their political home, in fact, it is a bordello to be avoided.

Older Americans are very angry with what the Democrats have done to them financially (and how they were used as bartering chips) and the young voter demographic is now more pro-life and conservative than in recent history.

Working Americans, many of them Blue Collar workers who thought they were voting for hope and change, know that vast amounts of money is being spent and someone will have to pay it back. That it is being spent on health care reform in place of jobs and the economy only compounds their anger.

The most important group affected is that block of voter that smells a rat. They may not have the intense involvement, thus the deep knowledge, of what is in the health care reform bill, but they know it stinks. It stinks the way it was passed, it stinks because they know they were lied to and it stinks because of their common sense which tells them that this whole charade is bull.

Many of this last group will vote Republican in the near future, but others that may have voted Democrat in the past will just fade into the, “they’re all liars,” group of voters.

If I was breaking out the demographic profile for the Democrats I’d be scratching my head a lot, because the historical number crunching method isn’t going to work next time around.

Nana Pelosi, this morning wearing her smug face, walked her Democrats through throngs of protesters this morning to the Capitol. As she and her members were booed, Republicans were cheered for their defiance in the face of a classic Pelosi twist and threaten campaign to pass HCR.

Carrying her giant gavel she marched like a well dressed Nero as crowds chanted, "Kill the bill" surrounded by Rep. Lewis and others who had marched in civil right's marches years ago. Reported yesterday, two people yelled racial and sexist remarks and one reportedly spit on a member of Congress. They should be banned from Tea Party events and arrested and prosecuted. Of course the MSM and leftist sites will only focus of these few people, once again exhibiting their no holds barred to win this fight.

Nana's parade is an indicator of things to come. It will only get uglier.

Nancy must, otherwise she wouldn't be announcing that she dropping all the shenanigans and deigning to use a constitutionally sound method. Waxman announced there would be no Deem and Pass, but that it would be an up or down vote. That tells me that they have twisted, broken or threatened enough House arms. The sound of which must have been loud because they seemed to have not heard the 10s of thousands of Tea Party protesters right outside.

Time to vote. The voters will be watching.

Two California "Blue Dog" Democrats have gotten early notice that their districts were going to get some of their water back.

The water spigots are back on, at least temporarily, in California's Central Valley. Turned off to protect a tiny fish, they happen to be in the districts of two congressmen "undecided" on health care reform.

One could chalk it up to good fortune or just good constituent service. But in the middle of a contentious health care debate marked by Cornhusker Kickbacks and Louisiana Purchases, we may be forgiven if we find an announcement by the Department of the Interior regarding California's water supply a tad too coincidental.

On Tuesday, the Department of the Interior announced it was increasing water allocations for the Central Valley of California, a region that depends on these water allocations for local agriculture and jobs. The timing adds to our suspicions.

According to the Interior announcement, "Typically (the Bureau of) Reclamation would release the March allocation update around March 22nd, but moved up the announcement at the urging of Senators (Diane) Feinstein and (Barbara) Boxer, and Congressmen (Jim) Costa and (Dennis) Cardoza."

I'm sure this is all just a coincidence.
