Around Easter the Democrats sent someone dressed in a bunny costume to the Republican State Committee headquarters. The stunt was widely panned, though thinly covered, and some internet wags speculated Sullivan herself was inside the suit (see below and judge for yourself.)

New Hampshire Democrats are engaged in a statewide search for liberal activists willing to attend so-called tea parties on Thursday and carry signs expressing racist or fringe sentiments, a Democratic source with knowledge of the effort tells NowHampshire.com.

According to the source, who sought anonymity for fear of reprisals, the Dems’ last minute scramble reflects a growing obsession among party leaders that they need to discredit the tea party movement soon or it will overwhelm them come the November election.

Former Democratic State Party Chairman Kathy Sullivan is heading up the search, the source said. Sullivan has been calling and e-mailing liberal activists trying to get them to attend tea parties in different parts of the state and hold signs denying the authenticity of President Barack Obama’s birth certificate and make racially disparaging comments to reporters.

“This is Kathy’s [Sullivan] project,” the source told NowHampshire.com. “She is absolutely obsessed with painting the tea party people as racists.”

Similar “crash the tea party” efforts are taking place throughout the country on Tax Day.

A sister who lives in New Hampshire says that Sullivan is well known for not being "all there in the head" and an embarrassment even to Democrats.

'The whole south shifts to the Republican Party over one issue, they don’t like black people…'

M.J. Rosenberg, a progressive, was speaking about why Americans support Israel. His contention is that America supports Israel because Americans hate Muslims. For context and to point out how stupid and hateful Americans (ie, conservatives) are, Rosenberg dropped this little gem concerning the electorate during the 1980's:

"The whole south shifts to the Republican Party over one issue, they don’t like black people…so you have the racism thing,.."

That is a lie. An outright lie. A known lie. A stupid lie.

How do I know? I worked the southern region when it went for Reagan, Republicans and conservatives at the federal level. As a researcher for the NRCC I had studied the issues, plus the whole votes and quotes thing and worked with candidates throughout the south in 1984 and it was not racism that shifted the south to the Republican Party.

The South had remained a solid Democrat stronghold following not just the War of Northern Aggression and their defeat, but especially following the humiliation of "Reconstruction" which purposely heaped scorn and shame on southerners at all levels. Their pride besmirched, the South reacted with a hatred of Republicans, Northerners and those they felt destroyed their lives. As Michelle Obama, they felt no pride in the country they were forced to be part of.

Enter Ronald Reagan and his "Let's Make America Great Again" message. In 1980 Reagan not only beat Jimmy Carter, he embarrassed Carter and those that thought like Carter. In what was supposed to be an election "too close to call" Reagan had a landslide. Carter was thought to be a quintessential southerner and his every action and manner had become an embarrassment to a large segment of the nation as well as in the south. This was when the South, as a voting bloc, started moving away from the Democrat Party.

By 1984, many waves of new thoughts were occurring which were personified by Reagan's "Morning in America" theme. President Ronald Reagan had tapped into the deep patriotism of the nation which deeply wanted a renewal of not just the American ideal, but also a renewal of faith in America by Americans. People had begun to believe again that America was an exception. That America was special.

The South still searching for a patriotism they could embrace started feeling the pull of Reagan's unabashed love for the United States of America. Ronal Reagan's America included the whole of the United States, not just a selected few nor did Reagan exclude people or regions of the country. This resonated with southerners who felt they had been ignored or ridiculed for generations and they did something they had not done in the past. They listened carefully to a Republican. What they heard, they liked which then allowed southerners to start listening to other Republicans running as state legislators, governors and federal offices such as Congress. They liked what they heard.

At the same time, the NRCC established a field staff broken out by regions of the country with regional strategies and tactics. The southern region, which I was a part of, was led by Jim Weber and he put in place a theory of campaigning that included southern voters in ways they had not been part of before. Republican candidates left their historically safe enclaves and actually spoke in democrat strongholds and asked for their votes. New campaign techniques traditionally not used in the south were employed and most importantly rank and file southerners were asked to become part of the process in political, financial and emotional terms. In short, they became engaged voters.

Did race play a part? Absolutely, because Democrats pushed back with messages of racism in an attempt to solidify their base which they felt included all southerners, especially confederate (battle) flag waving, truck driving whites. They had no idea that a storm of change was occurring in terms of political thought, economics, national identity and the long awaited resolution of southern historical identity.

The South went Republican. As Reagan before them, southerners began to say, "I didn't leave the Democratic Party, the party left me." Reagan spoke to the rising southern middle class with his message of fiscal conservatism, balancing the budget and cutting taxes. Many politicos say that white southerners rebelled against the Democrat embracement of the Civil Rights movement, when in fact it was Democrats that filibustered and voted against civil rights legislation which was supported by Republicans. To say that southerners rebelled against LBJ's cynical civil rights programs may be correct, but to say they rebelled against civil rights by supporting the party that passed civil rights is a tad shallow. LBJ's 1964 Civil Rights Act would have been defeated if not for Republicans such as Evertt Dirkson who broke the filibuster to get it passed. While Dirksen stated, “When it comes to the rights of others, I don’t play politics. It is the right thing to do.”, LBJ was privately saying, according to Ron Kessler's book "Inside the Whitehouse", "I'll have them niggers voting Democrat for two hundred years."

The south did not switch to Republican because of racism. It is still a useful lie for Democrats to say so, but it is still a lie.

FrontPage magazine reports that federal Judge Nina Gershon ruled that Acorn is eligible for the Obama administration's proposed $4 billion in Housing and Urban Development grants within the $3.83 trillion federal budget proposal for 2011.

That cancels the ban Congress placed on Acorn funding late last year after at least five of the group's offices willingly aided undercover reporters posing as a pimp and prostitute to get federal funding for a brothel and cheat on their taxes.

Once again, the Democrats are all robe, no law. As with all their other hollow "change", they have decided upon a duplicitous show of doing something that was never intended by them.

Abortion: Was Health Care 'Reform' Ever Really About Health Care

Democrats, using smoke and mirror tactics, plan to pass health care "reform" over the objections of the American voting public. Many have questioned why Democrats would doggedly continue on with a bill, overwhelmingly rejected by the public, which could result in massive losses for Democrats in the upcoming elections. It now appears that health care reform was never the actual goal, but simply a tool used to distract voters away from a massive government takeover of the economy and their long sought goal of federally funded abortions nationwide.

Health care reform is the sugar coating on the bitter pill of government control of individuals.
How else does one explain the deceitful legislative trickery, outright bribes and total refusal by Democrats to listen to their constituents to pass such a travesty?

Pelosi aide says Democratic congressional leaders have settled on legislative "trick" to pass Obamacare; So why have a summit?
"In comments reported by Congress Daily, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s top health care aide Wendell Primus admitted top Democrats have already decided on the strategy to pass the Senate's pro-abortion, government-run health care bill.

'The trick in all of this is that the president would have to sign the Senate bill first, then the reconciliation bill second, and the reconciliation bill would trump the Senate bill,' Primus said at the National Health Policy Conference hosted by Academy Health and Health Affairs.

“'There's a certain skill, there's a trick, but I think we'll get it done,' he said."

Democrats hope to get the bill passed and signed by Obama so that super majority votes are not necessary thus giving endangered Democrats an out on any future legislative voting. Under this plan each vote will only need 50% + one and will prevent Republicans from filibustering (preventing) passage of very controversial amendments.

Who are the Democrats who will stand and say 'No', this wrong and unethical and I won't be part of it? Will Zack Space allow the subversion of our Constitution? Will Stupak be part of the thwarting of the will of the people? Who will speak out the truth of what Pelosi, Reid and Obama are doing?

I fear cowards will prevail and in their salons clap each other on the backs for fighting the good fight and then go home and count their bribes.

I don't know why anyone would complain. This is clearly stated on page 1020 for all to see. If you can actually see a copy of the bill. Or have enough time to read the first 1019 pages.

Tomorrow night at 8 p.m., the Senate will vote on a “Motion to Proceed.” If Senator Reid succeeds in getting 60 votes allowing the debate to proceed, then that is a filibuster-proof majority. This could very well clear the way for Reid to employ other procedural moves that allow him to substitute his massive bill into another shell bill and call for a vote on final passage, which requires only 51 votes to succeed. In other words, success on the Motion to Proceed would open up the opportunity for Reid to force a vote on health-care reform before any pro-life amendments or substitute bills could be offered.

Reid knows his bill hasn't a chance of passing unless he uses backroom tactics such as described above and, as reported in the press, that Landrieu accepted an outright bribe to get her yes vote tonight.

Personally, I wonder how Reid can sleep at night knowing that he is ushering through the largest abortion bill ever. He states that he is pro-life, which flies in the face of what he is attempting. He must love power more than he loves his God. Just like Pelosi. Both, hypocrites.

The bill requires most Americans to have health insurance by 2013, with fines as much as 2.5% of income if they don't. It would leave 96% of legal U.S. residents with health insurance by 2019, up from 83% today.

Also

Employers that don't offer health insurance face fines equal to 2% of their payroll in companies with minimum annual payrolls of $500,000 a year. The fines increase to 8% of payroll for employers whose annual payroll exceeds $750,000.

Firms with a payroll of less than $500,000 would be exempt.

I'm not certain, but let me work though this. If I had a firm with 20 employees making an average of $50,000 per year each, my payroll would be $1 million per year. If I were offering health insurance, my premiums would be, what about $400-500 per month per employee?
If I stopped offering health insurance, my one million dollar payroll would be subject to a tax of $80,000 per year - or $333.33 per month per employee which is probably less than what I'm paying now.

I might well be ahead of the game to turn the process over to the Feds, pay the tax, and get out of the health insurance business.

So, Mr Obama has promised that companies and individuals can keep the health insurance coverage they like. And, as people and employers heat up and say if this crap passes we'll throw you out of office, Obama and gang protests that they won't raise taxes nor force anyone to do that which they do not wish to do!

And when the people say that the Constitution doesn't give them the right or the power to do this?

The socialized medical gang pleads back that this isn't socialized medicine because we're not going to do any such thing as have a government takeover on medicine AND if it happens because private carriers can't compete with the government and everyone has to go with government socialized medical care, the whole gang will cry;
