Dropping the beer summit ploy Obama is going to play golf with Boehner to hopefully iron out their differences. Obama doesn't know Boehner if he thinks a bit of schmoozing is going to change Boehner's beliefs. So the foursome is set.

What Obama thought he needed a caddy?

Furthermore, Obama should be trounced by Boehner in golf as well as politics, but to pit Biden against Kasich (in anything) is downright cruel. In a gunfight Biden would be the grinning fool standing there with a butter knife. In a debate putting Biden up on a stage with Kasich would be like forcing a pudgy pimply faced fool to do the chore. In madras shorts. A Three Stooges shirt. Picking his nose.

In fairness, for this gunfight Obama should be allowed a ringer for Biden. And himself. Both armed to the teeth. With full automatics. In an ambush. Just to make it fairer.

Yeah, yeah, Reid tries to spin Boehner's victory as his (I love it when liberals whine) and Obama goes to the Lincoln Memorial to talk trash about congress working with him for America and saying the cuts, which he did his "Nope Zero" compromise, were all about him.

There has been a sea change in Washington, DC and Boehner made it through the shoals to keep that sea change going in the right direction.

Harry Reid Just Announced He Will Shut Down The Govt Over Abortion

Reid and the usual posse of Democrat lackeys just held a press conference in Washington, DC.

After Saying Boehner has to choose between solving our economic problems or abortion Reid went on to list a litany of end of the world descriptions of what would happen if the government shuts down. My favorite was that Reid is so worried about saving the Cherry Blossom Festival! Maybe he can join the festival with cowboy poetry.

Reid then says the Democrats are being reasonable because they want to save the lives of women and maintain their health, but Democrats can't get Republicans to see the light. Reid then went on to lie about federal money, Planned Parenthood and tax dollars being used for abortion.

Reid didn't mention that he personally failed to pass a budget last year when Democrats controlled the House, the Senate and the White House. Reid is a liar.

If the federal government shuts down come Friday, House Speaker John Boehner may be in for quite a mess at his Washington, D.C. residence if some Facebook users have their way.

A Facebook event, entitled "If Boehner shuts down the government I am taking my trash to his house," has popped up and is gaining steam as the shutdown showdown ramps up on Capitol Hill. If the federal government shuts down, one of the District's services that will stop is trash pickup.

"Speaker John Boehner is ready to shut down the government, including District of Columbia city services like trash collection," it says on the page. "Well, if he won't allow us to use OUR TAX DOLLARS to pick it up, maybe we should just BRING IT TO HIM.

Both Goodman and Treadway worked at the DNC. Goodman appears to be out of work while Treadway is working at Netroot Nation which means neither is being productive.

Neither seemed inclined to do anything at all when the Democrats were too busy to pass a budget last year nor are they too concerned that the Democrats are purposely shutting the government down in hopes of regaining some political gain now that they have squandered any credibility with the voters.

These people cannot grow up because then they would have to face reality. Ain't gonna happen.

Situation Normal: Boehner Is Doing What Is Right-Reid Not So Much At All

Hapless Harry. So gloomy. So disappointed in all of us because he and Madam Pelosi never got around to passing a budget last year. If only we had had the foresight to see Reid's planned government shutdown this year then last year poor Harry would've have done something to avoid it, but alas we, the voter, didn't help him save America by voting for Democrats.

Boehner is doing what he does which is not spending gads of our money and trying to save our money and rolling back critical legislation concerning drunken gay sex in Argentina. We're approaching an economic meltdown and Boehner has the audacity to think we shouldn't be spending money to study why drunks engage in unprotected sex. In another country.

Granted, I am a fan of Boehner and I think Reid should be a deep fryer at McDonald's if they assign someone to watch over him constantly. There are a lot of conservatives and Tea Party members who I respect, but are already saying Boehner is a turncoat and a weepy boy for not having already fulfilled their political dreams. That, my friends, is stupid stuck in high gear, but hey, they've got every right to say it. We can agree on so many other things so why get waysided.

Boehner is herding cats and getting the job done. It will take time, but he will stay with it. Reid is also consistent, consistently wrong and consistently pedantic in his approach, but if Harry wants to drone for hours about this or that, which is really always about denying the voters their wish, then drone on Harry. We'll wait until you're finished and then ignore you and move the ball forward without you and your minion mimics in congress.

He went on to work his way through college and medical school and become a very successful doctor. Along the way he won the heart of a very smart and beautiful young lady who came from an old and good family. They had 6 children. Each child had to work starting at 14 and just like their parents each child had to give to the church and others in need. They understood the American Dream.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Democrats’ criticism of GOP leader John Boehner (Ohio) does not compare to the personal attacks Republicans have levied against her for years.

She then commanded:

“America’s middle class will have a tax cut. It will be done in this Congress. There is no question about that,” the Speaker said.

And with a large poof of smoke all that remained around her throne was the sound of a cackle whispering through the air. Aides to the Speaker conceded that a vote is unlikely as they served cake for all to eat.

They will get Stark raving loony and slimy. That's how low they will go.

Mike Stark of Stark Reports got in Minority Leader John Boehner's face as he left the Pledge press conference this morning and asked him if he had been sleeping with a lobbyist. Boehner just walked past him with a disgusted look on his face.

Stark is normally a pretty low brow guy. Normally he shows about the same intellect as an Ed Schultz, but he finally got lower than low. Why? Because Stark said he had heard the rumor around town? Or because he got his marching order to try and trash Boehner from the hacks in the WH and the DNC? Who cares.

Boehner is a happily married man who has voted in ways that Stark and his masters don't like, so, why not spread some lies around to see if they can hurt him. It's their MO. What is not their MO is fact checking. Like checking that Boehner has 24/7 security who would know about something like this. No, they're not like the security Clinton, Gore, Spitzer, Jackson and Edwards had because unlike those detailed to protect that crew, Boehner's security detail is treated with respect and in turn they respect him. If they didn't, this would have been news long ago, but it didn't and isn't because it is a bald lie. A bald lie spewed for political purposes, because the Left is pretty pissed off that now the voters know they were lied to in the last election and they want nothing more to do with the Progressive Left's agenda.

Scum like Stark always hide behind some statement like, "Hey, I'm only reporting what I heard" as if they are real reporters. In my opinion, they are just common trash that allow themselves to be used in hopes it will get them something later on. If I was Boehner I'd get them something right now, like a punch in the face, but that's why Boehner will be Majority Leader and I never will. He knows when to not get in the gutter with the pitiful likes of a Stark.

BTW, I won't link to crap like Stark wrote because that's what he wants. If you're interested, go find it yourself. I'd start searching using terms like loser, trash, lackey, liar, creepy, muck, childish ............

Dead Men Walking

Nana Pelosi, this morning wearing her smug face, walked her Democrats through throngs of protesters this morning to the Capitol. As she and her members were booed, Republicans were cheered for their defiance in the face of a classic Pelosi twist and threaten campaign to pass HCR.

Carrying her giant gavel she marched like a well dressed Nero as crowds chanted, "Kill the bill" surrounded by Rep. Lewis and others who had marched in civil right's marches years ago. Reported yesterday, two people yelled racial and sexist remarks and one reportedly spit on a member of Congress. They should be banned from Tea Party events and arrested and prosecuted. Of course the MSM and leftist sites will only focus of these few people, once again exhibiting their no holds barred to win this fight.

Nana's parade is an indicator of things to come. It will only get uglier.

"How does that stimulate the economy?"

It has not been confirmed that this is the same room where Bill Clinton discussed stimulation, but it is rumored that Hillary applauded the move by the administration as a village resolution to raise a Republican.

A Dozen Fun Facts About the House Democrats' Massive Spending Bill
1. The House Democrats' bill will cost each and every household $6,700 additional debt, paid for by our children and grandchildren.

2. The total cost of this one piece of legislation is almost as much as the annual discretionary budget for the entire federal government.

3. President-elect Obama has said that his proposed stimulus legislation will create or save three million jobs. This means that this legislation will spend about $275,000 per job. The average household income in the U.S. is $50,000 a year.

4. The House Democrats' bill provides enough spending - $825 billion - to give every man, woman, and child in America $2,700.

5. $825 billion is enough to give every person living in poverty in the U.S. $22,000.

6. $825 billion is enough to give every person in Ohio $72,000.

7. Although the House Democrats' proposal has been billed as a transportation and infrastructure investment package, in actuality only $30 billion of the bill - or three percent - is for road and highway spending. A recent study from the Congressional Budget Office said that only 25 percent of infrastructure dollars can be spent in the first year, making the one year total less than $7 billion for infrastructure.

8. Much of the funding within the House Democrats' proposal will go to programs that already have large, unexpended balances. For example, the bill provides $1 billion for Community Development Block Grants (CDBG), which already have $16 billion on hand. And, this year, Congress has plans to rescind $9 billion in highway funding that the states have not yet used.

9. In 1993, the unemployment rate was virtually the same as the rate today (around seven percent). Yet, then-President Clinton's proposed stimulus legislation ONLY contained $16 billion in spending.

10. Here are just a few of the programs and projects that have been included in the House Democrats' proposal:
· $650 million for digital TV coupons.
· $6 billion for colleges/universities - many which have billion dollar endowments.
· $166 billion in direct aid to states - many of which have failed to budget wisely.
· $50 million in funding for the National Endowment of the Arts.
· $44 million for repairs to U.S. Department of Agriculture headquarters.· $200 million for the National Mall, including grass planting.
· $400 million for "National Treasures."

11. Almost one-third of the so called tax relief in the House Democrats' bill is spending in disguise, meaning that true tax relief makes up only 24 percent of the total package - not the 40 percent that President-elect Obama had requested.

12. $825 billion is just the beginning - many Capitol Hill Democrats want to spend even more taxpayer dollars on their "stimulus" plan.

ABC News' Rick Klein Reports: A conservative California congressman announced Friday that he's mounting a leadership challenge to House Minority Leader John Boehner, as the GOP continues to assess the fallout from last week’s election losses.

Rep. Dan Lungren, R-Calif., becomes the first rank-and-file House member to announce his intent to challenge the top House Republican in next week’s leadership elections. The No. 2 and No. 3 House Republicans have said they’re stepping down from their posts, but Boehner is seeking another term as minority leader.

“I am embarking on this effort because I think our Party is in trouble,” Lungren wrote in a letter to colleagues Friday afternoon. “If we don’t admit our difficulties and address them aggressively, we not only run the risk of becoming a permanent Congressional Minority but we will do a disservice to our nation.”

John Boehner is a great example of the American dream of pulling oneself up by the bootstraps and a damned fine legislator who knows the House of Representatives well. His staff is first rate and they assist him in not only representing his district, but also to represent a rock solid conservative view to Congress. In this task, based on good thinking and solid research, Rep. Boehner is able to work with all members because they respect and trust him as a honorable man. He also has a helluva sense of humor.

If you believe in this sort of thing then you have to believe we just got screwed. It's not just Harry Reid's smug sagacity, Pelosi's poop eating grin or President Bush's look of sincerity.
