The icon of union/big government/machine politics, Illinois, can't find a few literate officials to finalize the necessary paperwork so Senator-elect Kirk can take his seat in Congress. It may be an education problem.
Senate GOP should filibuster if Kirk is delayed
Maybe those fighting Illini could dig up some voters or elected officials to fill in the blanks. They don't seem to have problems with forms when it comes to elections. Or a community organizer. They also don't have a problem with forms either unless they get caught.
...Virtue, morality, and religion. This is the armor, my friend, and this alone that renders us invincible. These are the tactics we should study. If we lose these, we are conquered, fallen indeed... Patrick Henry (1736-1799) US Founding Father

Obama & Holder Use Federal Threat Of Law To Bully Opponents
Case in point is Sheriff Joe. The boys in Washington are ticked off at all things Arizona and especially Sheriff Joe Arpaio. I too would be ticked if I had acted so incredibly stupid that a mere sheriff could make me, the president, look like a complete fool.
U.S. may sue Arizona's Sheriff Arpaio for not cooperating in investigation
The investigations reflect the tangled politics surrounding the immigration debate. The criminal probe is led by Dennis K. Burke, the U.S. attorney in Phoenix who was a top aide to Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.
Two of Arpaio's attorneys, Robert N. Driscoll and Asheesh Agarwal, were officials in the Justice Department's civil rights division in the George W. Bush administration. They denied that the sheriff, a Republican who has been reelected four times since 1992, has been uncooperative or has engaged in racial profiling, misusing money or targeting political enemies.
"The sheriff's office is cooperating fully with the grand jury investigation and has complete confidence that the inquiry will clear it of any wrongdoing," Agarwal said. "The office has always fulfilled its responsibilities truthfully, honorably, and in full compliance with state and federal law."
Arpaio's attorneys contend that the investigations are politically motivated, citing a news conference in March at which Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. was quoted as saying he expects the inquiries to "produce results."
This administration proves daily that they are clueless and incompetent, but this Chicago-style thuggery should be even below them. Unfortunately, it appears to be their modus operandi .
Thuggery is as thuggery does.

UAW/GM/GOVT Conflict Of Interest With Toyota
Okay, you've got a trash facility you want to build, so you contribute big to your old friend the mayor's campaign and hire a council member to do work for you in the build up to the vote on your trash plant that the citizens overwhelmingly don't want...... and isn't legal under the law. So, change the focus onto something else and make sure everyone knows your facility is a "green" recycling center while the old one isn't. Time to get the state ethics board involved. A board that may have ties to the mayor and certain council members. That ethics board says everything is legit in a twisted logic that would cause your Twister game to get an ethical wedgie. Small town shenanigans, right?
Wrong.
The taint in the Toyota probe
Breathlessly we await an "ethical" opinion from Eric Holder concerning his best buddy, Barack Obama, who happens to be the big boss in America concerning the massive probe and push to make Toyota admit to shoddy projects that kill people just before they all go off to an office party at their company Government Motors. Toyota's competition and nemesis of Obama's friends at the UAW.
Talking of trash...
Wrong.

Obama Does Las Vegas Chicago Style
Obama told us not to blow our kids college savings in Vegas. We don't have to, he blew everybody's college fund in Vegas for us, saving us the trip.
OBAMA JACKPOT GIVEAWAY IN VEGAS: $1,500,000,000 HOUSING HELP...
Bribery, aka Chicago love, to the tune $1.5 Billion to forget all the nasty things Obama has said about Las Vegas.
Now Obama says, and let me be clear on this, Obama loves Vegas. But does Vegas love Obama? Or Reid? Or any Democrat? Love is a gamble.

Michelle Sacrifices For The Kids, Not FOO Fighters
Yeah, right. That Michelle, always thinking of the children.
Michelle Obama: It's a 'sacrifice' to travel to Europe to pitch for the Olympics. But I'm doing it for the kids.
Oh, look. There are kids. Everywhere.
Obama 's Friends and Chicago's New Slums
Imagine that. Games, for kids, right in the heart of Chicago. How much land is owned or controlled by friends of Obama (FOO).
A Games in the Heart of the City
One can start with the ever lovely Valerie Jarret and her Habitat, Inc. who fights for profit in the name of the poor.
It's Chicago, even the refs stay bought. Hey, refs were once kids too.

Rioting A Medal Sport In Chicago Olympics?
According to Obama the economy is as bad as the Great Depression, our health care system sucks and chooses certain segments of society to die and business is the bane of freedom, so he is off to Denmark with Oprah to plead for the Olympic Committee to hold the Olympics in Chicago.
Chicago would bring a lot to the Olympics. A gold in arm-twisting would be headline stuff if a non-Chicagoan won, weightlifting over 300 pounds of cash in the snatch category might only get one a bronze, but lying out of both sides of your mouth (in church) will get you a silver.
Forget golf unless the clubs are larger and sharpened at one end, forget ball room dancing unless beating your partner to death is included, forget cricket unless the bats have nails and the gloves have brass knuckles and darts is just too tame.
Rioting! That's the ticket. Gangs competing for gold by beating one another to death. Though hard to differentiate from politics, rioting is a school sport.
4 Chicago Teens Charged in Beating Death (MyFox Phoenix)
Bolingbrook Student Stabbed
Loren-Maltese Talks About Life in Prison
Twelve Teens Face Felony Gang Charges (MyFox Atlanta)
Bolingbrook High School put on Lockdown After Stabbing
Teen Beaten To Death On South Side
Uptown Rioting Caught on Tape
Right now, relatively unknown Bolingbrook has moved to 5-2 odds for a place on the medal platform, but Obama may have secret plans in the works with Oprah as they jet to Denmark.
Maybe Fenger High School can send their worst. Maybe Obama wants Chicago Lab to bring their razor sharp fencing epees or the sailing team could lead their belaying pins.

Chicago 1968: Armies Of The Night Begins
The history and violence of today's Democrat/Liberal/Progressive/Communist movement is a long one, but the 1968 riots at the Democrat National Convention were shown live on television and the movement began the twisted genisis that we see today.
1968 – The Democratic National Convention opens in Chicago, Illinois.
In 1967, the Yippie movement had already begun planning a youth festival in Chicago to coincide with the Democratic National Convention. They were not alone; other groups, such as Students For a Democratic Society and the National Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam, also made their presence known.[22] When asked about anti-war demonstrators, Daley kept repeating to reporters that “No thousands will come to our city and take over our streets, or city, our convention.”[23] In the end, 10,000 demonstrators came to Chicago for the convention where they were met by 23,000 police and National Guardsmen.[17] Daley also thought that one way to prevent demonstrators from coming to Chicago was to refuse to grant permits which would allow for people to protest legally.[24]
After the violence which took place at the Chicago convention, Daley claimed as his main reason for calling in so many Guardsmen and police was that he had received intelligence that there were going to be plots to assassinate many of the leaders, including himself. He played on the fears of the American people after John F. Kennedy’s assassination in Dallas as a means of legitimizing his calling of the Guard and the use of force in Chicago.[25]
While several protests took place before serious violence occurred, the demonstrations headed by the Yippies were not without comedy. Surrounded by reporters on August 23, 1968, Jerry Rubin, a Yippie leader, and other activists held their own presidential nominating convention with their candidate Pigasus, an actual pig. When the Yippies paraded Pigasus at the Civic Center, ten policemen arrested Rubin, Pigasus, and six others. This resulted in Pigasus becoming a media hit.[26] August 28, 1968 came to be known as the day a “police riot” took place. The title of “police riot” came out of the Walker Report, which amassed a great deal of information and eyewitness accounts to determine what actually happened in Chicago.[24] At approximately 3:30 p.m., a young boy lowered the American flag at a legal rally taking place at Grant Park. The rally was made up of 10,000 protestors.[16] The police broke through the crowd and began beating the boy, while the crowd pelted the police with food, rocks, bags of urine, and chunks of concrete.[27] The biggest clash in Chicago took place that day. Police fought with the protestors and vice versa. The chants of the protestors shifted from “Hell no, we won’t go” to “Pigs are whores.”[28] Tom Hayden, one of the leaders of Students for a Democratic Society, encouraged protestors to move out of the park to ensure that if they were to be tear gassed, the whole city would be tear gassed, and made sure that if blood were spilled in Chicago it would happen throughout the city.[29] The amount of tear gas used to suppress the protestors was so great that it eventually made its way to the Hilton Hotel where it disturbed Hubert Humphrey while in his shower.[28] The police were taunted by the protestors with chants of “Kill, kill, kill.” They sprayed demonstrators and bystanders indiscriminately with Mace.[30] What was to become the most famous picture of the Chicago demonstrations of 1968 was the police assault in front of the Hilton Hotel. The entire event took place under the T.V. lights for seventeen minutes, live, with the crowd shouting, “The whole world is watching.”[28] Meanwhile, in the convention hall, Connecticut Senator Abraham Ribicoff used his nominating speech for George McGovern to tell of the violence going on outside the convention hall, saying that “with George McGovern we wouldn’t have Gestapo tactics on the streets of Chicago.”[31] Mayor Daley responded to his remark with something that the T.V. sound was not able to pick up, but was later revealed by lip-readers that Daley had cursed “Fuck you, you Jew son of a bitch! You lousy motherfucker! Go home!”[32] That night, NBC News had been switching back and forth between the demonstrators being beaten by the police to the festivities over Humphrey’s victory in the convention hall.[33] It was under the cameras of the convention center, for all of America to see; it was abundantly clear that the Democratic party was sorely divided. After the Chicago protests, the demonstrators were certain that the majority of Americans would side with them over what had happened in Chicago, especially when looking at how the police had acted. In the end, however, they were shocked to see that as unpopular as the war in Vietnam had become, the anti-war movement was hated even more.[5] Daley claimed to have received 135,000 letters supporting his actions and only 5000 condemning them. Public opinion polls demonstrated that the majority of Americans supported the Mayor’s tactics.[34]
[edit] The Chicago Seven
Main article: Chicago Seven
After Chicago, the Justice Department meted out conspiracy charges in connection with the violence at Chicago and gave birth to the Chicago Eight, which consisted of Abbie Hoffman, Tom Hayden, David Dellinger, Rennie Davis, John Froines, Jerry Rubin, Lee Weiner, and Bobby Seale.[35] In February 1970, the Chicago Conspiracy defendants were convicted on various charges and sentenced for contempt of court by Judge Julius Hoffman. The convictions were eventually reversed on appeal.[35]
You can jusge which was more odeous, the rioters or the Chicago "style" of dealing with opponents which is still going on today. Pro- health "reform" groups, funded with our tax dollars, are gearing up for new Armies of the Night (a Norman Mailer tract about the demonstrations in 1967 at the Pentagon and used as a "how-to" manual for the DNC in 1968) tactics for the nation.
I call a tie! The unions will side with the rioters, but act like Chicago thugs to break any opposition. Welcome to hope and change.

Cash For Clunkers A Failure
via Gateway Pundit
As planned, the only beneficiary are the unions which paid Obama for a seat at the board table. Oh, and Japanese car makers.
Car Dealers Reviews reported, via Free Republic:
The National Automobile Dealers Association is urging the federal government to begin shutting down the Cash for Clunkers program immediately.
In a statement released Wednesday evening, NADA said that, given the rapid pace at which deals are being done, it will be difficult to say when the program’s funds may run out.
But Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood said earlier Wednesday that all dealers would be reimbursed.
However, the NADA said, in its statement, that the group had “confirmed elsewhere” that dealers would not get paid if cash ran out.
Although, according to press reports, Secretary LaHood stated today that “there will be no car dealer that won’t be reimbursed,” NADA believes that this is based on DOT’s view that sufficient funds remain available. It is important to note that NHTSA has confirmed elsewhere that if the program’s money runs out before a dealer is reimbursed, that dealer will not be paid.
In a survey nearly 800 dealers,
97% of dealers who responded, say the government is not reimbursing fast enough
13% of dealers have dropped out the program because the government is not reimbursing fast enough and overall concern payment problems
87% percent of dealers are concerned the money will be exhausted
3% of CARS program deals have been reimbursed 66% of dealers have not received one payment from the government
25% of dealers are experiencing servere cash flow problems that require short-term loans to fix 11% of submitted applications have been approved (though dealers still are waiting for the money)
16% of submitted applications have been rejected
55% of dealers are not confident they will get reimbursed for every deal
40% do not want the program to continue, even if changes are made to the CARS program
If the respondents to this poll are found out we should see another round of dealerships being closed. That is the Chicago style.

Obama, ACORN, Fannie, Freddie, etal, Dirty Money Nationwide

This subterranean dirty money being passed by federal decree to fill the wallets of Democrat Party supporters is now being done so out in the open. The media won't report it let alone explain how this works, but quietly hopes that this will launder the money and the corruption to the public's mind, ie, this is legal. It is not legal.
.
These are the groups and individuals that brought our current economic problems to a boiling point, all while saying the crisis is Bush's fault.
.
Follow the chart and the money and it is easy to see who is making millions and who is grabbing power.
.
Voter fraud as a profit center to fund further voter fraud to solidify corrupt power.
.
If that ain't change...

Bringing Back Bad Ideas Is Not 'Change'
James Carville is a good example of why tacticians and other wonks should stay in the background. Two minutes of face time on TV or talk time on the radio can completely wipe out months of carefully planned work.
Resurrecting Nixon's Enemies List or Clinton's or Pelosi's or even Blogo's is a bad idea, but when you mix one part Carville with one part Emanuel and throw in various court jesters, you've got a bad idea.
ENEMIES LIST: WHITE HOUSE PLOTS LIMBAUGH COVERAGE
Top Democrats believe they have struck political gold by depicting Rush Limbaugh as the new face of the Republican Party, a full-scale effort first hatched by some of the most familiar names in politics and now being guided in part from inside the White House.
But, but Obama and the O Team started their Enemies List a long time ago.
Obama's Enemies List
The more things change...

Obama's Administration Looking Bad
Or, those pictures in the Post Office.
Obama chose Jeffords to bolster his campaign promise call for bipartisanship, even if the necessary reach forJeffords was really only part way across the aisle. Another promise was that no dirty low-down scummy bad-for-America lobbyist would play any part in his administration. Oops. About 17 in top positions right about now.
Obama also called for a cleanup of Washington, DC. Unfortunately, the swamp has been enlarged and deepened by Pelosi, not drained. Baltimore meet Chicago. How's that "most ethical Congress ever" thing working for you now?
Growing list of 'honest mistakes'
What does it take to disqualify Democrats from public service? Suborning forgery? Sen. Joseph Crisco, D-Woodbridge, did it, but was neither arrested nor sanctioned by his colleagues. Sorry, honest mistake, he said.
Divert campaign money multiple times to pay personal expenses? Sen. Thomas Gaffey, D-Meriden, did it, but has not been censured by his colleagues, which was the punishment Congress imposed in 1967 after Sen. Christopher Dodd's father got caught doing it. Sorry, honest mistakes, Sen. Gaffey said.
Tax evasion? It wasn't enough to derail Timothy Geithner's appointment to run the Treasury Department, including the Internal Revenue Service. Didn't pay $43,000 in federal taxes? Sorry, honest mistake, he said.
It wasn't enough to end Al Franken's run for the U.S. Senate in Minnesota. Didn't pay $70,000 in taxes and penalties in 17 states and $25,000 in workers' compensation insurance to New York? Sorry, honest mistakes, he said.
It wasn't enough to cost Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., chairmanship of the House tax-writing committee, let alone his seat in Congress. Didn't declare tens of thousands in rental income from his Caribbean villa, tens of thousands in profit from the sale of his Florida condo and more than $10,000 in fees he saved by parking his vintage Mercedes in a congressional garage? Sorry, honest mistakes, said the man who helped write the tax code.
Maybe Obama will name an Ethics Czar". I hear William "Freezer" Jefferson is available.
