Another Day In Obama Land Which Means Another Violation

Since it now appears that Obama is a skeet shooting dead eye dick we can return to all the Wild West comparisons when talking of his administration. Though, I am not sure if the story line is one of Johnny Behan or Mongo.

Another federal lawsuit has been filed alleging that senior Environmental Protection Agency officials violated the Freedom of Information Act, this time by instructing subordinates to ignore two FOIA requests from a non-profit advocacy group that is often critical of the agency.

'Settled Science' Scientists Belittle Themselves To Threats

It's good to be king a protected unelected bureaucrat. Once hired you can make stupid statements, stupid laws and threats and nada can be done to you. You can mix your personal missions with science, stir the beaker and , viola! You have settled science and a fun afternoon of crucifying those who disagree.

In the video, Administrator Armendariz says:
“I was in a meeting once and I gave an analogy to my staff about my philosophy of enforcement, and I think it was probably a little crude and maybe not appropriate for the meeting, but I’ll go ahead and tell you what I said:

“It was kind of like how the Romans used to, you know, conquer villages in the Mediterranean.  They’d go in to a little Turkish town somewhere, they’dfind the first five guys they saw and they’d crucify them.

“Then, you know, that town was really easy to manage for the next few years.”
“It’s a deterrent factor,” Armendariz said, explaining that the EPA is following the Romans’ philosophy for subjugating conquered villages.
Soon after Armendariz touted the EPA’s “philosophy,” the EPA began smear campaigns against natural gas producers, Inhofe’s office noted in advance of today’s Senate speech:
“Not long after Administrator Armendariz made these comments in 2010, EPA targeted US natural gas producers in Pennsylvania, Texas and Wyoming.
“In all three of these cases, EPA initially made headline-grabbing statements either insinuating or proclaiming outright that the use of hydraulic fracturing by American energy producers was the cause of water contamination, but in each case their comments were premature at best – and despite their most valiant efforts, they have been unable to find any sound scientific evidence to make this link.”

This is how the left does its business. At least they used to have enough shame to contain it to coffee houses and faculty lounges,

Obama Is Desperate That We Be Distracted From His Record

And with good reason. His record is a disaster for the country and now it appears it is also a disaster to his re-election.

War On Distractions

Mixed in with the economy, the price of gas, food inflation, the abject and laughable green economy and his war on women (don't even mention the DOJ and and other leftist agencies such as the EPA), Obama ain't got long game.

Coal Union Bosses Campaign Against EPA...

Obama's EPA, which is decimating our economy and jobs, is slammed by a union boss who then goes on to praise Obama.

Mine union boss: Coal industry could suffer same fate as bin Laden

And they're curious as to why unions have been losing membership for decades?

Fair Is Fair: An Obama Success!

Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels (R) blamed President Obama for the spike in oil prices, saying the administration had pushed for consumers to pay higher prices at the pump.
“Let’s give the president credit for one domestic policy that works. He wanted higher gas prices and he got them,” said Daniels on Fox News Sunday. “Secretary Chu said $8 are about what they pay in Europe. It would be great. Secretary Salazar said $10 and it still wouldn’t be for drilling in the places where we know there’s an awful lot of domestic production. And so, they have gotten the doubling of gas prices and perhaps worse, it’s a conscious policy of this administration. Maybe the one thing they set out to do and actually accomplished.” he said.

All the Obots and progressive-regressives will crow that Obama has made America a net exporter of energy. Uh, no.

Obama Claim: The U.S. has become a net energy exporter.
Reality: This claim is 100 percent false. Because the Obama campaign does not provide a single citation or source for their information, it is impossible to know how great its ignorance of energy facts extends. Every year, the Energy Information Administration, which is part of the Obama administration’s Department of Energy, publishes an Annual Energy Review. If the Obama campaign understood energy facts, they would have looked at Table 1.4 of the 2010 Annual Energy Review. They would have found a table titled, “Primary Energy Trade by Source, Selected Years, 1949–2010.” That table shows that in 2010, far from being a net energy exporter, the U.S. had net imports of 21 quadrillion Btus of energy of the 98 quadrillion btus used.
Obama likes to say that he has created more energy, but it has been the private sector that has grown while the federal government has dwindled as well as dragging their feet on permits, thwarting the Keystone pipeline and trying to stop shale oil drilling.
Some charts (being updated):

Like Gov Daniels said, Obama wanted to screw us at the pumps and he is accomplishing that. Success!

EPA Costing Jobs, Higher Utility Bills And Lower Tax Revenues To Communities

The EPA, America’s newest legislative body, is at it again.

With the closing of these plants as well as the others in the region, according to reports, not only will the power be scarcer there, but also in the Northern Virginia area and region, especially at peak periods. Energy experts say 33 GWs of electicity will be lost. If the average home uses 0.00001104 Giga Watts per year a loss of 33 Giga Watts will affect 2, 989,130 of the 109,000,000 of year round occupied homes which is approximately 27% of the occupied homes in the United States of America. That is a lot of power to make up.

It is estimated that 1200 + plants will be closed in the next few years raising consumer costs by about 14% as well as increasing unemployment and the loss of taxes to local communities. A lose, lose, lose. On the other hand government experts and their allies say that the cost savings in health will offset the plant closings.

Yep, this has been well thought out, eh?

Obama's EPA Will Kill What Obama Can't

The EPA is quickly becoming the fourth branch of government as an Obama addition to the executive, judicial and legislative branches. That the EPA is not answerable to just about anyone is seen as a feature, not a bug, to big government types that also want to inject themselves into every facet of our lives they can think of. Oh, and they also don't care that unemployment will go up as well as the cost of everything because the benefits will be for the country and to stave off alien intervention.

I guess freezing grandmothers and babies is a better for their environment that having fat ones. Priorities R' Them.

Killing the American Dream is hard work and Obama is finding he can’t do it all by himself, but with the help of the EPA he can kill ever so much more and nobody will be held responsible. It’s a win-win for the Obama, especially if he is only a one term president.

That it is a completely stupid idea and approach seems not to have occurred to anyone.

Enemies: EPA As Obama's Hitperson

Energy in America: EPA Rules Force Shell to Abandon Oil Drilling Plans

Shell Oil Company has announced it must scrap efforts to drill for oil this summer in the Arctic Ocean off the northern coast of Alaska. The decision comes following a ruling by the EPA’s Environmental Appeals Board to withhold critical air permits. The move has angered some in Congress and triggered a flurry of legislation aimed at stripping the EPA of its oil drilling oversight.

It doesn't matter to Obama if gas is $5 a gallon, in fact he wants the cost of gas and all other energy sources to go as high as possible.

The EPA Is A Toxic Dump Filled With Hidden Taxes

Bureaucrats are unelected thus have no mandate, but they increasingly more our rulers than Congress. They mandate. They push regulations onto us that we have not asked for nor want. They tax us through every possible method including compliance fees, mandatory rules for business and through fines for everything you can imagine.

Homeowners Now Must Pay EPA's Hidden Tax

Who put these bureaucrats in place? Who gave them the power to bypass the Constitution? If they are there by the grace of elected officials, first, the elected officials should be voted out of office and then the bureaucrats should be replaced by no one.

People talk of cutting government by this percentage or that percentage, which is a good thing, but I say cut the bureaucracy by 25 percent starting in January.

Obama Kills More Jobs In WV, Manchin Munchin' On Defeat

As the science on climate change climate disaster climate weirdness global warming comes under more scrutiny, ergo exposing its lies, Obama and clan double down on restrictions, laws, rules and regulations to kill more jobs to "allow" companies to more better fall in line with the administration's "you're with us or you're dead" PC agenda. The Green Agenda. The anti-Appalachia Agenda. The anti-American Agenda. The anti-Jobs and Working Man Agenda.

It's easy to be president if you're a professor. Facts and reality never get in the way of, well, reality and facts.

Did Obama toss Manchin under the bus?

Republican Spike Maynard received a big boost in his campaign to unseat 17-term Democratic Congressman Nick Joe Rahall on Friday as President Obama — through his EPA Administrator — pulled the plug on a major mine by vetoing its mine permit.

Come to think of it, Obama’s old buddy, Democratic Governor Joe Manchin got the flaming bag of dog doo on his porch, too.

Republican John Raese thanks The Won for small favors.

As the sign says: “Obama says, Vote Democrat.”

Of course, Manchin will say this is why he is West Virginia's best hope in DC. His being a guard dog for West Virginia. Because he is a Democrat. Because he grew up in coal country and now lives in the lap of luxury. How embarrassing for West Virginia.

Besides, what can a guard dog tea cup poodle do to a tea cup intellectual? The real question should be, what can a group of pissed off real Mountaineers do to a group of wussified greenies?

Me? I'll bet on the Mountaineers. Manchin, you deserve to lose, especially after your fake faux gun shots at the Energy Bill. Probably had fois gras with the gun powder. Nothing worse than a nouveau riche that fails at being nouveau riche.
