Keith Olbermann Suspended For Ethical Violations? Huh?

Musta been the straw that broke that very strong camel's back. The man is a walking violation of every ethical standard that's so much as been thought of.

Olbermann suspended for Dem contributions

Well, he obviously needed a time out. Bonus for the crockery cracking department: he'll tweet like crazy and that is always fun to watch. Like a slo-mo train wreck. Peckinpah style. With crazy people on board.

Fess Parker Passes At 85

As a child I thought I had others convinced I was Davy Crockett. Of course, my parents had bought me a coonskin cap which I wore everywhere, including bed. I had an air rifle which I would jam into the dirt in order to be fully loaded before I shot an imaginary bear. My rubber knife was always sharp. I even had a fringed jacket that I had found it in a trash pile behind the Salvation Army store. My mother had reluctantly cleaned it for me, but neglected to tell me it was a little girl’s jacket. Didn't matter, I was Davy Crockett.

My parents purchased tickets to see the movie Alamo. We had reserved seats and a tall thin lady carrying a tray of goodies and cigarettes walked the aisles before the movie began. I was so excited I couldn't sit still. I fidgeted in my shorts, knee highs, bow tie, jacket and coonskin cap. As the movie started I kept looking for the David Crockett. To my horror it wasn't Davy, but just some actor who I later found out was named John Wayne. My mother leaned in close and told me that Davy had given his permission for Mr. Wayne to portray him. Disappointed, but awed by the giant screen and the swirling colors I quietly watched in awe as the defenders of the Alamo and the soldiers of the Mexican army spoke of their respect for each other before the final bloody battle. It didn't hurt so much when the actor portraying Davy died in front of the chapel because he wasn't really Davy, just an actor.

In time, as I got older and was allowed to watch TV and began to go to movies, I began a lifetime of respect for John "Duke" Wayne, but Fess Parker was the only real Davy Crockett to me and Davy must have talked to my mother because he gave her permission for her and my father to call me Davy. They did until I became a teenager.

Fess Parker was a good man.

PC Movies-Popcorn Bad, Granola Bars And Prune Juice Good

I really can't imagine anything better than going to a movie theater to watch the Hurt Locker or Braveheart and have the opportunity to eat granola bars and yogurt and wash it all down with prune juice.

Sony chairman Michael Lynton calls for healthy alternative to popcorn in cinemas

Maybe the theater will have rent-a-mommies to caution us about eating healthy, to cover our eyes at the really bad parts and to make sure our Dr Denton's are buttoned and comfy.

That's what William Wallace would want. Us all safe and warm in the bask of cinematic love.

Pet Stark And His 'Vincent Gigante' Act Take Gavel Of Ways And Means

However much Demos needed Pete Starks (D-CA) vote, that didn't mean they wanted to hang out with a guy who valued his urine so that he'd never waste it on a constituent's leg.

Pete Stark is crazy. Pete Stark also started a bank and built it into his becoming a millionaire. Pete Stark was also lucid enough to leave his birthplace in the cold north and settle in the more temperate Bay Area of California.

The Democrats rightfully fear that Pete Stark, as Chairman of Ways and Means, will become the face of the Democratic Party and they are scared. They should be because Pete Stark is not the image they want in the media, especially when he starts to bark.

Pete Stark is the political version of Vincent Gigante. He acts crazy when isn't which gives him latitude to be rude, disturbing and now, powerful.

That Pete Stark is a vulgar and arrogant elitist is the least of our problem. His views are dangerous and his inability to interact with those he disagrees with, thus bullies, makes him a very loose cannon. With the gavel of the Ways and Means Committee as his platform.

If he stays in the chairman's seat, Fourney "Pete" Stark can be who he is or be who he isn't. Either way, he is a liability to Pelosi, Obama and the American people.

Maybe Pete will start wearing his bathrobe and slippers to committee hearings.

UPDATE: Bummer! Fourtney isn't getting the gavel! Sander is getting it. Oh my, so much fun to be missed.

Stark out, Levin in at Ways and Means

If we got a quarter for every vulgarity that comes out of Stark's mouth, especially in the last 24 hours, our national debt would be history.

Charlie Rangel Steps Down Before Demos Vote Him Out

Rep. Rangel steps down from tax committee
Embattled Democrat takes ‘leave of absence’ amid ongoing probe

Personally I would like second-ranking, but first rank in the minds of loon lovers, to take the gavel. Who doesn't love the antics of Pete Stark-raving mad?

"You think you are big enough to make me, you little wimp? Come on. Come over here and make me, I dare you. You little fruitcake."

Of course, just like so many congressmen, like Rangel, Petey has a residence, tax and ethics problem. In short, he lies:

KTVU Channel 2 News has learned the modest house in Rep. Stark's East Bay congressional district that he purportedly lives in is in fact owned and occupied by his in-laws. No one KTVU contacted in the neighborhood has ever seen him near in the house.

Yes, there is a stark difference. At least Charlie Rangel is an affable crook.

UPDATE: Now Charlie is spouting things like, "You bet your life on it" and other such nonsense when asked if he will remain as chairman. This is an obvious slap in the face for Nancy Pelosi who bravely stated, “I guess he is still chair of Ways and Means…”

The Honorable Charles Bernard Rangel is only taking a "leave of absence" until the heat is over or the investigation concludes.

Maybe he can use this time to collect some rents and wash his garaged forever Mercedes.

It's Official. It's Over For Obama. Tea Party 1 - Obama 0

Make the U.S. more like the UK. It's finally out in the open. The Obama Administration wants us to be them. If this was elementary school one upsmanship, there'd be no fight because somebody would be laughed off the playground.

White House invites Tea Party members to challenge it on transparency issues
“I would be thrilled to make this a type of political competition ... to see who can be more radical in their openness, in their data distribution models ... trying to prove to the citizens they can run a better government,” said McLaughlin, a former executive at Google.

He also said he would be “delighted if Republicans started pushing out great open-data models like the Conservatives have in the U.K.”

R not. M 2. R not. M 2. No I'm not. Yes you are.

Jabberin' Joe Biden Now Loves 'Bush's" War!

Is this unbelievable or what? Just think, if Joey had his way, he could by 3 times happier!

Joe Biden update: Iraq one of Obama's 'great achievements'

Obama and his cronies will only be angry that Joe said this out loud, no doubt, because they believe it too.

Randy Andy Sullivan Sez Invade Israel And Occupy!

If that is not silly enough for you look down the page for further laughter and frivolity.

Yep, "The Naked Novelist And The Dead Reputation." On the same page. Coincidence? I think not.

Happy Harry Reid's Fairy Tale Dust

Happy Harry is happy. Indeed, so happy that his historic happiness may have blinded him to the fairy tale dust in his eyes.

Dems not worried about post-vote backlash at home
Democrats today have repeatedly expressed a confidence that they won't face a backlash for their votes when they return home for the holidays, which would stand in marked contrast to the August recess.
...

Majority Leader Harry Reid said, "We're going to hear an earful, but it's going to be an earful of wonderment and happiness that people waited for for a long time."

Wonderment and happiness? Yeah, that's how I'd describe it. If I never wandered out of my marble palatial office. If I made sure that I never would be near the smelly hoi polloi.

Yep, those hard working smelly Americans are going to love this bill when Happy Harry shares the fairy tale dust.

Fat Head Calls Bankers Fat Cats For Working Meeting Setup

As if still writing a paper for school work Obama supplies even more research on how not to run a government.

Obama Slams 'Fat Cat' Bankers on Eve of Meeting

Like most government Huey Long wannabees, Obama hasn't a clue about the creation of wealth, its management and the application of markets to lift all people. Hey, he's a socialist for Pete's sake.

Obama's Olympian Effort For Climategateism

Yep, his appearance will just nail a Gropenhagan (is Clinton going?) decision to American policy.

By switching his visit from Dec. 9 to Dec. 18, Obama appears to be betting that his presence can - as he has expressed hope for several times in the past - push the negotiations "over the top" toward an agreement.

Maybe they are "crunching" the numbers just one more time. Gotta get it right, eh?

Giving Thanks For Our Security

Yep, the Commander in Chief sets the tone, but it's his VP that is in charge of our national security.
Here he is checking out potential threats. Atta boy Joe.

From Russia With Love

Not a 007 nor a bikini clad hottie anywhere in this insight:

Russia Today wrote that week, "Despite Barack Obama's eloquent elocution, ivy school credentials and electric charisma, there is talk that he lacks the most crucial element of any great leader: judgment."

Indeed, an American buffoon

Obama Kowtowing To The World

Reminds me of my first formal dance when I listened to my sisters who did not have my best interest at heart. As I bowed and kissed the hand of my date as I been told to do, my friends snickered uncontrollably and my blushing date decided that I was either a fool or making a fool of her.
.
The dance did not go well.
.
Maybe I should have made the Saudi excuse and said that I dropped something.
.
Gateway Pundit noticed too.

Franken Frankly Isn't Up To The Task Of Being A Senator

Franken feuds with T. Boone Pickens
Franken, who was seated talking to someone else, did not stand when Pickens said hello. Instead, Franken began to berate him about the billionaire’s financing of the Swift Boat ads in 2004.

Franken is up to being a lapdog for the left or a campaign junk-yard dog for progressive and socialist causes, but he's severely lacking as a comedian, radio host and senator.

Minnesota should be so proud. Gloria Wise sure is.

Joe Biden Creates New Solution For Bankruptcy

Jabberin' Joe just keeps on jabberin'.

Joe Biden: ‘We Have to Go Spend Money to Keep From Going Bankrupt’
“Now, people when I say that look at me and say, ‘What are you talking about, Joe? You’re telling me we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt?’” Biden said. “The answer is yes, that's what I’m telling you.”

This will no doubt relieve the heavy load in bankruptcy courts nationwide.

"I don't consider him a particularly reliable source of information"

Come on guys, she's serious.

"Well, it won't surprise you that I don't consider him a particularly reliable source of information," Clinton said of the former vice president.

Found Obama Hilarity

It is quite impossible for me to stop laughing.
