If the federal government shuts down come Friday, House Speaker John Boehner may be in for quite a mess at his Washington, D.C. residence if some Facebook users have their way.

A Facebook event, entitled "If Boehner shuts down the government I am taking my trash to his house," has popped up and is gaining steam as the shutdown showdown ramps up on Capitol Hill. If the federal government shuts down, one of the District's services that will stop is trash pickup.

"Speaker John Boehner is ready to shut down the government, including District of Columbia city services like trash collection," it says on the page. "Well, if he won't allow us to use OUR TAX DOLLARS to pick it up, maybe we should just BRING IT TO HIM.

Both Goodman and Treadway worked at the DNC. Goodman appears to be out of work while Treadway is working at Netroot Nation which means neither is being productive.

Neither seemed inclined to do anything at all when the Democrats were too busy to pass a budget last year nor are they too concerned that the Democrats are purposely shutting the government down in hopes of regaining some political gain now that they have squandered any credibility with the voters.

These people cannot grow up because then they would have to face reality. Ain't gonna happen.

If only we had had the foresight to see Reid's planned government shutdown this year then last year poor Harry would've have done something to avoid it, but alas we, the voter, didn't help him save America by voting for Democrats.

Boehner is doing what he does which is not spending gads of our money and trying to save our money and rolling back critical legislation concerning drunken gay sex in Argentina. We're approaching an economic meltdown and Boehner has the audacity to think we shouldn't be spending money to study why drunks engage in unprotected sex. In another country.

Granted, I am a fan of Boehner and I think Reid should be a deep fryer at McDonald's if they assign someone to watch over him constantly. There are a lot of conservatives and Tea Party members who I respect, but are already saying Boehner is a turncoat and a weepy boy for not having already fulfilled their political dreams. That, my friends, is stupid stuck in high gear, but hey, they've got every right to say it. We can agree on so many other things so why get waysided.

Boehner is herding cats and getting the job done. It will take time, but he will stay with it. Reid is also consistent, consistently wrong and consistently pedantic in his approach, but if Harry wants to drone for hours about this or that, which is really always about denying the voters their wish, then drone on Harry. We'll wait until you're finished and then ignore you and move the ball forward without you and your minion mimics in congress.

Harry Reid & Demos Will Shut Down Govt Because Of Ideology Not Negotiated Money Cuts

Hapless Harry just spoke that he is not happy and that the government will probably shutdown. In his most rousing monotone he said this would happen because of ideology as the numbers (money/cuts) were very close. In other words Harry is shutting down the government because he believes it will help Democrats (politics) and because he and Obama don't like Boehner's politics (again politics).

Time To Address Once Again The Left's List Of Lies About Violence

The Left is still busily cutting and pasting the same list of lies believing that if like monkeys they can write Shakespeare with enough of them typing. It appears they have pared down the list, originally posted in the aptly named Crooks and Liars around 2008, because most of the list has been debunked or their attention span is any longer long enough to copy the entire list.

Yes, it is tiresome to constantly have to hurt their self-esteem by injecting reality, but we must continue to help these cut-and-paste idiot savants.

So, here is the latest list posted by cut-and-paste Shakespearean monkey hopefuls:

– July 2008: A gunman named Jim David Adkisson, agitated at how “liberals” are “destroying America,” walks into a Unitarian Church and opens fire, killing two churchgoers and wounding four others.

-          Adkisson’s former wife had attended the church he shot up which why he chose it as a target, his food stamps were about to be cut off and he couldn’t find a job. This crime was not just about his nutty ideas. It was a crime by a nut.

– December 2008: A pair of “Patriot” movement radicals — the father-son team of Bruce and Joshua Turnidge, who wanted “to attack the political infrastructure” — threaten a bank in Woodburn, Oregon, with a bomb in the hopes of extorting money that would end their financial difficulties, for which they blamed the government. Instead, the bomb goes off and kills two police officers. The men eventually are convicted and sentenced to death for the crime.

-          It appears that these two were right wingers in their heads. At least they had the rhetoric. They also tried to rob a bank or extort money because dear old dad had blown the family piggy bank. I have never known a conservative bank robber, but I have known liberals that have physically attacked others including police officers. As far as they being “Patriot” movement radicals? They probably had a choice between ELF and the patriot movement and though the patriot movement smelled better. They can chalk this one up for the liberal cut-and-paste crowd, but I’m not sure they can be called conservative.

– April 2009: A white supremacist named Richard Poplawski opens fire on three Pittsburgh police officers who come to his house on a domestic-violence call and kills all three, because he believed President Obama intended to take away the guns of white citizens like himself. Poplawski is currently awaiting trial.

-          Poplawski had a long history of violence and instability long before Obama was elected. He wasn’t a conservative.

– April 2009: Another gunman in Okaloosa County, Florida, similarly fearful of Obama’s purported gun-grabbing plans, kills two deputies when they come to arrest him in a domestic-violence matter, then is killed himself in a shootout with police.

-          It appears this gem is about Joshua Cartwright who was a neo-Nazi who believed the government was conspiring to take his guns. The killing began when deputies went to arrest him on domestic violence charges. The problem here is that liberals want to deflect and say any form of Nazi is conservative when that is not true. National Socialists, Nazis, were socialists and socialists cannot be labeled conservative here in America because socialists are of the left as are fascists and communists. Vocabulary and reality won’t change liberal rhetoric because they have too much invested in “the lie” which underpins their secular theology of government.

– May 2009: A “sovereign citizen” named Scott Roeder walks into a church in Wichita, Kansas, and assassinates abortion provider Dr. George Tiller.

-          Roeder allegedly murdered Tiller because Tiller was an abortionist. Tiller was not a political leader so the rhetoric that he was assassinated is just that, rhetoric. More rhetoric is that Roeder was a “sovereign citizen” which I guess is supposed to mean he was conservative. Roeder was deranged and if he was part of the pro-life movement and a conservative he didn’t grasp the basic tenets of either movement which is they are pro-life, not, like liberals, pro-death. His murder of Tiller is anti-pro-life and anti- conservative. Your call whether that makes him a liberal or a nut.

           
– June 2009: A Holocaust denier and right-wing tax protester named James Von Brunn opens fire at the Holocaust Museum, killing a security guard.

-          In fact, Von Brunn was a liberal Jew hating, 9/11 truther who hated President Bush and had threatened conservative writers and publications. He’s the liberal’s baby since they hatched him.

– March 2010: An anti-government extremist named John Patrick Bedell walks into the Pentagon and opens fire, wounding two officers before he is himself shot dead.

-          First problem: Bedell was a registered Democrat. He also hated the military and was a 9/11 truther. Like most LibProgs Bedell was pissed that he had been arrested for growing pot which he wanted as currency in his brave new world.

– May 2010: A still-unidentified white man walks into a Jacksonville, Fla., mosque and sets it afire, simultaneously setting off a pipe bomb.

-          So now unidentified, thus unknown, perpetrators are automatically conservative.

– July 2010: An agitated right-winger and convict named Byron Williams loads up on weapons and drives to the Bay Area intent on attacking the offices of the Tides Foundation and the ACLU, but is intercepted by state patrolmen and engages them in a shootout and armed standoff in which two officers and Williams are wounded.

Analysis Shows SB 5 Would Save Money

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) -- Ohio government analysts are estimating a new collective bargaining law could save the state about $191 million each year. And they say school districts, townships and other local governments could see more than $1 billion in savings annually.

The figures were released Monday by the state's Department of Administrative Services. The estimates were based on parts of the law dealing with health care costs and wages. The measure prohibits employers from paying more than 85 percent of workers' health insurance costs. It also gets rid of automatic pay increases and pay based on length of service.

I wish my employer paid 85% of my health insurance costs. You go Governor John! This is why we elected you.

The Perfect Storm Our Fearless Leaders Have Created For US

The perfect storm has been building for decades as government grows larger, more powerful and less effective, as unions invade our public sector, as private enterprise is ridiculed and Americans who cherish life and liberty turned their eyes in hopes it would all go away. Each year workers expected more and more for less and less. Each year students have been taught how evil our country is. Each year the government supports failure in economic terms that are staggering. Each year the news we receive is less and less tethered to reality. Each year government found another entitlement. Each year government spent more and more. Each year government told us it was going to be fine because they were here to protect every facet of America. Each year, they all lied and took and never gave back. Yes, a perfect storm has been created.

So, Obama has single handedly created our recovery. Rejoice all ye blind supporters and economists, but I repeat myself. Our fearless reporters, at least those that can tear themselves away from manning the bollocks, will speak of the great unknown we are emerging from into the glowing unknown we are entering and how wonderful it all will be.

Union members are in for a rough row. They will win a few court battles to regain some turf and they may win some state referendums to overturn legislation that actually puts them more on par with the private sector and, gasp, holds them accountable. All the tens, possible hundreds, of millions they will spend will further weaken them and hasten their demise because unions represent all that has become wrong in our economy. They are the tip of the storm. The perfect storm.

Tepid, at best, job growth is with no income increase, in fact, lowered income for those not working for government and unions which are becoming the same thing. AFSCME alone has 3,500 local unions spread across 46 states that gave $87.5 million split between Democrats and Republicans 98:1 respectively. They all got raises above the national norm and have almost ironclad job protection. Not so amongst workers in the private sector.

Job growth is trying to occur in an economy that is deeply in debt with more debt, and the incredible interest on that debt, growing each day. That means our workers are working for China and other countries that own our debt and to exacerbate the problem, 40 cents of every dollar spent by the federal government is borrowed. Probably from China. Our enemy. China, a country that wants our wealth, but will not abide our liberty and freedom because a slave master doesn't like those things. Our new master will also dictate jobs, growth or no growth, and how much salaries will be allowed.

Also part of our perfect storm is our future. All the protected teachers and professors are training their students, not for entrepreneurship, manufacturing, invention and other basic necessities of our economy, but for  standing in line for jobs that only illegal immigrants will fill.

Yes, every Pierpont Watson Willowpoint III will look forward to utilizing that degree for standing in line for a deep frying position that he will lose out for by someone named Pablo. I wonder if Pierpont's living trust will have clauses pertaining to employment as a necessity for Pierpont's annual withdrawal from the trust? I do hope his worsted wool doesn't retain the malodor of Harry Reid's great unwashed.

There are so many factors in a perfect storm. These are but a few that undermine our hopes and dreams. Others, such as liberals in congress that spout studies made up by union protected workers in an attempt to stop any cuts to their pet reelection programs such as bridges to nowhere. And there are others that actually are beginning to publicly say that they want to undermine our way of life by undermining our economy with socialism.



It is a perfect storm of historic stupidity and it may be the ruin of us all.

Sen. Lindsey Graham said Congress might need to explore the need to limit some forms of freedom of speech, in light of Tennessee pastor Terry Jones’ Quran burning, and how such actions result in enabling U.S. enemies.

"I wish we could find a way to hold people accountable. Free speech is a great idea, but we're in a war," Graham told CBS' Bob Schieffer on “Face the Nation” Sunday.

"During World War II, we had limits on what you could do if it inspired the enemy," Graham said, adding certain speech can “put our troops at risk.”

"Loose lips sinks ships" had quite a different meaning than some idiot burning a Quran. This reminds me of the violent riots in the 60's to protest bad conditions in which the rioters destroyed their own neighborhoods. To protest the burning of the Quran Muslims are killing Muslims. Violence and stupidity are universal.

We've Become a Nation of Takers, Not Makers

Where are the productivity gains in government? Consider a core function of state and local governments: schools. Over the period 1970-2005, school spending per pupil, adjusted for inflation, doubled, while standardized achievement test scores were flat. Over roughly that same time period, public-school employment doubled per student, according to a study by researchers at the University of Washington. That is what economists call negative productivity.

But education is an industry where we measure performance backwards: We gauge school performance not by outputs, but by inputs. If quality falls, we say we didn't pay teachers enough or we need smaller class sizes or newer schools. If education had undergone the same productivity revolution that manufacturing has, we would have half as many educators, smaller school budgets, and higher graduation rates and test scores.

The same is true of almost all other government services. Mass transit spends more and more every year and yet a much smaller share of Americans use trains and buses today than in past decades. One way that private companies spur productivity is by firing underperforming employees and rewarding excellence. In government employment, tenure for teachers and near lifetime employment for other civil servants shields workers from this basic system of reward and punishment. It is a system that breeds mediocrity, which is what we've gotten.

And so I plead, as an unflinching American patriot--please Mitch Daniels, please Jeb Bush, please run. I may not agree with you on most things, but I respect you. And you seem to respect yourselves enough not to behave like public clowns.

Nothing screams patriot like the unflinching Joe. Really. And unflinchingly Joe weeps with love for dead Republican presidents just to show he is a multicultural political animal. He really loves dead Republican presidents if they've been dead for at least 100 years. Those less dead, not so much.

Joe would never try to pull the wool over our eyes with "some bilious nonsense escaping his lizard brain" because Joe is a straight shooter, clear thinker and a card carrying member of Team Time which in and of itself shouts TWADDLE from the spires of religious exactitude down into the canyons of New York City and out across the clown filled pastures of Washington, DC.

If a business owner wants to just do their business then they are union busting cretins who need to be put out of business and it appears police force members are okay with that. So, what's a union to do? Easy, tell the business that they have to place a sign visible to all as protection or else. The or else clause is that if thy choose to be neutral and serve all customers they will be targeted, i.e. extorted, with threats to themselves and their business. Talk about worker's rights.

WSEU circulating boycott letters

Members of Wisconsin State Employees Union, AFSCME Council 24, have begun circulating letters to businesses in southeast Wisconsin, asking them to support workers’ rights by putting up a sign in their windows.

If businesses fail to comply, the letter says, “Failure to do so will leave us no choice but (to) do a public boycott of your business. And sorry, neutral means 'no' to those who work for the largest employer in the area and are union members."

To lend gravitas to the union action the lead extortionist Jesse Jackson has lent his support to the unions.

Self Confessed Serial Liar David Brock & MMFA Go Dumpster Diving For Fun And Profit

Brock claimed to have the video, but he didn't think that anyone would find and watch the entire video and that hurt his shattered credibility further. From pointing to Limbaugh to Imus to O'Reilly and to others he missed his mark by lying about the target and millions of dollars later the press and the public simply don't believe him. Cupcake Couric read a nice script as an interview with Brock, but, ahem, that seems to be it unless one thinks the Democratic Underground sewer is media. From my point of view it's their money well spent.



A MMFA spokesman went on the Today Show to lie about showing the entire video and full transcript. Uh, no. They took a small snippet out and made into something it wasn’t.

There was the time that they lied about a letter to Cliff Kincaid of AIM from the Afghanistan ambassador.

MMFA kids love to stir up a non-story and then deny it and say that the victim of their attacks is attacking them for things they didn’t so, as it happened to one of their favorite targets, Sarah Palin.

Who can forget the superb research that MMFA has paid millions for that isn’t quite so as it was when Obama singled out the Supreme Court for criticism during his State of the Union address. Ah, Mr. Brock, the research was so shoddy I presume you made it up yourself.

Who can forget those juicy racist quotes from Rush Limbaugh which MMFA reported on when Limbaugh hoped to be part of a NFL team? Except he never said them, but MMFA said that even though they had no proof, i.e. they lied, they just knew that Limbaugh might have, possibly, maybe said such things.

MMFA loves grassroots groups even when they’re funded AstroTurf groups such as Color of Change who claimed they were destroying Glenn Beck’s advertising base.

Brock’s boobs love “completely baseless,” a “total fabrication” and there is not a “shred of evidence” type of stories unless, you know, there is as it was with the “Fallujah Four” Democrats aiding terror in Iraq.

Last evening a person who had commented on posts that I had put up deleted comments from my blog comment section..

This morning I read a comment from him apologizing for some of the offensive and untrue comments he had posted about me in my comments. I then found proof that he had, without my permission, deleted some of his more odious comments plus some of mine from my blog.

I have a policy of not deleting comments on my blog. In fact, this person has consistently accused other bloggers of deleting his comments and banning him from their sites. I have not deleted any comments on my blog nor would I allow others, even if they asked my permission, to delete comments or otherwise manipulate or alter my blog.

This is serious and I take it as such.

The liberal group Media Matters has quietly transformed itself in preparation for what its founder, David Brock, described in an interview as an all-out campaign of “guerrilla warfare and sabotage” aimed at the Fox News Channel.

Oh yeah, using Soros money MMFA is going rogue. In fact, they’re going all CIA on conservatives and republicans all over America with a black ops program that I’m sure will include drug experimentation, rubber gloves and sexual blackmail. Basically they’re going to lie.

They’re going to lie to ruin certain conservative websites, Fox News, Fox’s parent company, News Corp., and News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch and other executives within the organization(s).

All of the MMFA Ninja’s will be led by David Brock, Head Ninja, who has built a career on lies starting with his oh so insightful and fond memories of United Nations ambassador Jeane Kirkpatrick speech at Berkeley, the protesters shouting her down and the voice from the great void which led him to be the champion of conservative thought in America. Not quite a Ninja, but a hero of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy, he savaged Anita Hill with lie after lie and then wrote a book trashing his former Vast Right Wing Conspiracy conspirators. All this from a fellow who had already learned some Ninja backflips as he had been a college liberal who adored Bobby Kennedy before he became a VRWC conspirator.

Frank Rich, who has typed out some doozies, said of Brock’s book:

"By his own account, Brock has lied so often that a reader can't take on faith some of the juicier newsbreaks from the impeachment era in his book."

As Brock practiced his kung fu, karate, karaoke and bitchiness he felt stronger and stronger as the Left started to cast loving eyes on him and his shtick.

Knowing all this, Soros is a detail man; Soros purposely chose to make millions available to Brock and MMFA. Others, including friends of Soros, have afforded MMFA with an annual budget of $10 million dollars which will undoubtedly grow in preparation of the 2012 elections.

Keeping Obama in office and debilitating conservative efforts to curtail the drunken spending spree of liberals and progressives, whose stated goal is to bring down the economy and destroy capitalism, is the goal of Soros who is all about shorting currencies and destabilizing governments to make even more billions.

Media Matters for America and David Brock are mere investment tools for Soros. That they will lie, threaten, bribe, extort and destroy is not a problem to Soros. Never has been for Soros and unfortunately the fine traditions of liberalism have succumbed to the same thought of mind.

Obama has no stated goal in Libya. Hell, he has no openly stated goals here in America, only backroom deals to kill America. He is wholly incapable of being Commander in Chief and President. That this embarrassment will cost us lives is an embarrassment we must atone for for years. I am so embarrassed that this clown is President of the United States of America.

Silence Of The Bams

 Professor Glenn Reynolds has rightfully been speaking to this. A few liberals such as Stranahan
of Huffingington have spoken up about the subject. There are many others speaking who are not in the media nor are they part of the “elite” leadership. Those, the major supporters of Obama are now silent. His front line troops in his campaign to be president are shuffling their feet as they look away in
embarrassment. The rank and file is silently fading away. They revolution was televised, but people stopped watching. The revolution was scrapped.

Here in our small hamlet the anti-Bush-war protesters who so proudly were hailed quietly put away their banners and insulting placards ending their weekly protests on Main Street. Windows silently echo no more Hope and Change signs and the bumpers of just right vehicles merely have a shadow where stickers once proclaimed Obama to be the one. The revolution has quietly returned to the normalcy of parties, work and the constant for a cause to bring meaning to life. It’s as if the revolution
was the wayward child who was never really loved and somehow just went away.

If one kept their ear to the wind they knew the revolution had died as faux mini-revolutions arose with ferocity and force to defend wealthier union members who saw their protection racket being challenged. There was no fearless leader to lead, just thousands looking for a cause. There, in state capitols, there were no signs of hope and change, only dredged up signs depicting others as dead Nazis and what remained when the energy waned were the dredges of political action, the fringes of insanity, waging a childish war against somebody and everything.

As the winter winds began to die only a few markers remained. The squares and government building returned to the normalcy of the everyday. The leaders of the once revolution stumbled on with no goals left to conquer for they had no goals. There were no more adoring crowds heralding the next hoped for great achievement. The empty cold public forums witnessed no more new great programs, endeavors and actions. They were empty because their former revolutionary inhabitants had slipped away home to close their eyes. With sealed eyes they no longer had to see the non-revolution. With silent lips they would not have to speak of the sameness they abhorred let alone speak out against it and its sameness to the old. In such a short time the revolution had grown old, died and had blown away like so much dust to never be mentioned again. Failed revolutions make for embarrassing conversation.

Their revolution gone, the classrooms are full again, even with teachers. Job sites, once again, are comfortably filled out with five workers to do a one man job. The populace has quietly gone back to their lives. The parties, the seminars, the business get-togethers go on as before the revolution. The unity that drove the revolution has settled back into the traditional pettiness of squabbles, jealousies and egos over things significant only to the few within their small pond. Tragedies are accepted. New wars are a world away, the methodology suddenly unimportant.  Prices rise as hope declines. Unintended consequences spiral out of control as the revolution dies. All that remains is the quiet desperation of a want for goods, services and money from the non-revolutionary government. Hope and change remains what it always was. Greed...

Libya: Who Didn't Know What And When Didn't They Know It

Dominoes. Arab world. Why Libya?

Hope and change is happening all over the Arab world and we appear not to have a clue. So what did we not know and when did we not know it?

Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, Tunisia, Bahrain, and on and on to Libya. It is so easy to ridicule Obama and the left about past statements, insults and accusations demeaning the efforts and goals of the Bush Administration. It's too easy because they spouted off for political reasons which threw reason out the window. The larger question, and more important question, is whether this administration is even aware of what it is doing at the most basic level.

People here cheered for Tunisia and Egypt. They had no idea who was behind the unrest nor did they have a clue about who was pulling the strings of the youthful protesters even as the protesters themselves had no clue. many Republicans were part of the hosanna chorus which is disconcerting, because cheering for uprisings just because on side is ugly doesn't make sense if both sides are ugly and evil. Nobody knew squat about these things and it appears they still don't.

The Law of Unintended Consequences is in full force here,  "Any intervention in a complex system may or may not have the intended result, but will inevitably create unanticipated and often undesirable outcomes".


There are tragedies occurring all over the world at the moment. Look at just about any African region and one will see slaughter, starvation and war. South East Asia is an abattoir at many levels. The degeneration of life itself continues unnoticed in China and Russia. The Middle East is a disaster just waiting to get worse, but we decide to add Libya to our list of wars.


I believe our interventions in Iraq and Afghanistan made good sense on many levels, but most importantly geopolitical reasons including the potential of a two front assault if Iran, the bat crap crazy in the neighborhood, decided to flex its muscle. Is there some parallel with Egypt, Israel and Libya or is the Obama Administration just desperate to contain Mali?


If, as reported, Obama only wants a war with Libya be quick as to not interfere with basketball and that some mean old women bullied him into this war, who the hell is in charge. Who is doing the big picture thinking here?


That this administration in incompetent is obvious, but so far they've contained their incompetence to mainly destroying us. Now they want to risk the lives of our armed forces in igniting an explosion of war(s) that could plant the seeds of our own destruction. This type of incompetence is beyond the comprehension of man. It is of a type that only rookies who think they're professionals are capable of embarking upon.


Libya? Really? With France in the lead? What could go wrong with that...


It is so obvious that this administration is merely reacting to events both domestic and foreign and the real thought about Libya should not be about their hypocrisy concerning Bush and Obama, that's shooting fish in a barrel, it should be exactly who didn't know what and when didn't they know it. 


It won't resolve anything, but it may help us to never make such a stupendous mistake in the future.
