Cast For Obama's Greek Traedy At Invesco Theater

As nations, dictators, Islamfascists, unions and the Democrat Party anxiously wait for the opening curtain, the Obama campaign's presumed cast for this evening's performance has been anonymously released.

Luminaries from around the globe have poured into Denver in hopes of a role or, at the least, to be seen in the glow of the coronation. Caligula was overheard, "Let them drink Pepsi!"

Though not seen, Middle Eastern and European hopefuls, frantically worked behind the scene to make their presence known and their influence felt as their followers danced in the streets in advance of the hoped for cut and run in Iraq.

Street clowns and anarchists gleefully worked late into the night entertaining revelers hoisting golden calves chanting, "Change, change change."

THE CAST:

Soros is the highest ranking and most powerful god, the ruler of Mount Olympus, god of the sky.
alGore, together with Hades is one of the two next most senior gods, god of the sea, rivers and springs, floods and earthquakes.
Pelosi is the secret wife of Soros, the goddess Queen of the heavens and stars, of marriage and fidelity.
Michelle is the goddess of the fertile earth and agriculture. Her bounty sustains mankind.
Bill is the goddess of the hunt, animals, wilderness and the protector of young girls.

Jabbering Joe is now saying he's heading to Georgia to rebuild what Russia destroyed while pointing out that Obama has always been right about Afghanistan and Iraq while his "good friend", John McCain, has always been wrong.

More about his "good friend", John McCain, "McCain was wrong; Obama was right." Biden must think he's doing a stem-winder in an empty union hall full of ghosts.

The entire speech was a traitorous spectacle of back stabbing a "good friend" with lies, half truths and political bullshit.

Biden is a low life. Lower than I thought.

Give praise!!!! The messiah just came out grab the spotlight. What a relief. I thought we might actually have to spend one more day without his magnificence.

Bill Clinton Does As Expected

The first black president did as expected as he spoke his first paragraphs at the DNC tonight by stabbing our current president, freedom and our country in the back by undermining all of our foreign and domestic policy which our enemies will highlight tonight, tomorrow and beyond.

After Hillary's speech last night and Bubba's speech tonight kissing Obama's butt and lying through their teeth about Barack, I think the only question is how much did it cost Obama. How much will it cost us?

Lost in the celebrity noise of the debacle in Denver is news of Institute of Notre Dame high school graduate, Nana Pelosi, once again stepping up to the plate to divulge her truth about religious matters.

He was resurrected as Pelosi was trying to respond to the question that refuses to die: When does human life begin? This time, it was Tom Brokaw asking on Sunday's "Meet the Press." Citing Barack Obama's recent pass on a similar question—"At what point does a baby get human rights?"—Brokaw asked Pelosi what she would say to Obama were he to ask her advice.

Pelosi didn't finesse her answer, as Obama did when he said the question was above his pay grade, but she may wish she had.

"I would say that as an ardent, practicing Catholic, this is an issue that I have studied for a long time," Pelosi began. "And what I know is, over the centuries, the doctrines of the church have not been able to make that definition. . . . St. Augustine said at three months. We don't know. The point is, is that it shouldn't have an impact on a woman's right to choose. . . . I don't think anybody can tell you when life begins, human life begins."

House Democratic leaders and protesters waving McCain signs had a war of words Tuesday at a press event outside an old train station. The demonstrators interrupted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi with chants of “Drill here! Drill now!”

Pelosi paused and asked the group, “Right here?”

Seeming to enjoy the back and forth, she followed with another question: “Can we drill your brains?”

She went on to refer to the protestors, who continued to chant sporadically, as “handmaidens of Big Oil.” Arguing that increased offshore drilling would only reduce gas prices two cents in 10 years, she referred to the demonstrators as the “two-cents-in-ten-years-crowd.”

Pelosi, speaking as if to children, hasn't a clue of what Americans want, only her agenda is important. I can hear her spouting, "If he jumped off a cliff, would you?", finishing with bogus "facts" about what would happen in her desperation to force her point.

Sabato does have a political agenda and with the choice of Jabbering Joe the message that must go out is that it is all about Obama and VPs don't really matter. Well, in Biden's case the VP slot does matter. BO's hope was an inroad to the Joe six pack vote, catholics and middle of the road Dems. I'm thinking 3 out 3 ain't bad except these are strikes. The mouth that bored is a choice I can't figure out. I think Obama has nothing, but this is beyond a rookie mistake. Biden is a mistake of gigantic proportions. Biden's personal story is a wonderful story of family winning over tragedy and politics. Biden appears to have single handedly saved AMTRAK as he befriended conductors year after year, but is that a story that rings true with the voters when they're standing at the gas pump, in the grocery store, hugging their soldier goodbye or when they're filling out their tax forms?

Sabato is wrong here. Biden brings to the ticket about as much as salt to a wound. It may hurt good, but it doesn't make the patient happy or healed.

What with the Bush legacy of reckless war and economic mismanagement, 2008 is a year that favors the generic Democratic candidate over the generic Republican one. Yet Barack Obama, with every natural and structural advantage in the presidential race, is running only neck-and-neck against John McCain, a sub-par Republican nominee with a list of liabilities longer than a Joe Biden monologue. Obama has built a crack political operation, raised record sums, and inspired millions with his eloquence and vision. McCain has struggled with a fractious campaign team, lacks clarity and discipline, and remains a stranger to charisma. Yet at the moment, the two of them appear to be tied. What gives?

If it makes you feel better, you can rationalize Obama's missing 10-point lead on the basis of Clintonite sulkiness, his slowness in responding to attacks, or the concern that Obama may be too handsome, brilliant, and cool to be elected. But let's be honest: If you break the numbers down, the reason Obama isn't ahead right now is that he trails badly among one group, older white voters. He does so for a simple reason: the color of his skin.

Here are some real simple reasons:
America doesn't trust him
America is seeing him as an empty suit
America doesn't like what they hear
America thinks his choice of friends, advisors & mentors is risky
America is a positive nation while liberalism is a negative force

August 20th Is here Again

Liberals, progressives and socialists are planning their Democratic convention. Russia has invaded another country to squash any hope of true democracy. Members of the convention, just as in Russia and with other communist sympathizers, are blaming America first and foremost for baiting the Russian bear.

Nixon or Bush? Czechoslovakia or Georgia? Both. 1968 is back, but this time the democrats have a planning commission called Recreate 68 and they are just as traitorous and stupid.

McCarthy and Humphrey were battling for the nomination by the Democratic party. One openly wanted to appease the Soviets while the other wanted to walk a thin line trying to unite the anti-freedom and traditional wings of the party by quietly hoping to eviscerate the American military and our country's hope of lessening war through the spread of freedom and prosperity. Obama and Clinton. ibid.

Open and quiet sympathizers of communism were not directly confronted by the media, but were celebrated as agents of change. ibid.

The Democrat Party held up Humphrey, McCarthy, Muskie, McGovern, Bond and Ted Kennedy as agents for that change. Obviously, little has changed in the Democrat Party.

New Life

After scads of emails, actually a few, concerning where I have been I decided to share about where I have been, being absent, from this blog. Unfortunately, it does not involve forgotten weekends across the border nor anything remotely about lotteries.

My family is a large one. With many sisters, many nieces and nephews and even more of their children, there are many lives of many differences. One of my sister's children has had a hard life of which we were kept in the dark until that life had affected her children. Badly.

As families do when they are real family, we discussed what to do, not how to tut-tut and reprimand, but to take action to assist. Our part in this drama involving the magnificence of life has been to welcome into our home a wonderful, but storm tossed 14 year old who has seen the wrong side of Yuma and life.

It is sad, but at the same time delightful to watch her realize that she doesn't have to fight for food. It is frustrating, but natural to stem the tide of attitude born of fear as she realizes her room is her room and will not be taken away nor will she "move" once again because mommy needs to find work. As it was with our now 24 and 26 year olds, it is the little things that are the signposts of moving forward, treading water or drowning. Our 24 year old son has been indispensable in being a listening post and her supporter, quietly encouraging her that this isn't a temporary station offering stability which will be snatched away at the first hint of discord.

It has been humorous to watch her interact with my wife's Italian family. Soon after arrival we were off to the beach for a week to celebrate my father-in-law's birthday with no number. In a quiet talk on the beach I found that this was her first vacation and that she felt guilty for it. She felt guilty for the piles of food, the laughter, the constant hugging and the fact that we had not just one, but two houses looking out over the Atlantic that were ours alone to enjoy.

The little things we take for granted softened that guilt as she silently watched the prayers before each meal, one fisherman son gently chiding the CEO son for being a cheapskate, a grandmother sharing her crossword puzzle with a grandchild snugly explaining the purpose and the meaning of words, the unending waves begging to be ridden and the whole cast directed by the ghost of a now gone 4' 10" giant of a woman who brought, shaped and ruled a family into being Americans. Thank God this ghost didn't have time to teach this new family member how to play cards because I have never even come close to beating one of them in any game domestic or foreign.

That's where we have been and am now. Thank God for it, but how do I explain that, yes, Ireland is over the horizon on the far side of the Atlantic? She thinks I am making that up.

Some lawmakers in Congress have certainly considered the consequences of your driving habits. And they want you to slow down.

Record-high gas prices have triggered talk that it may be time to lower the speed limit on federal highways to 55 or 60 mph.

"I think that's a great way to save fuel," said U.S. Rep. Heath Shuler, D-Waynesville, N.C. "I think it would be the right thing to do."

U.S. Sen. John Warner, R-Va., raised the possibility of reducing the speed limit to 55 or 60 mph early last month. He asked Energy Secretary Samuel W. Bodman to study whether a lower speed limit would reduce gas prices at the pump and report back on how much fuel it would save.

In the House, U.S. Rep. Jackie Speier, D-Calif., has filed legislation that would impose a national speed limit of 60 mph on highways in urban centers and 65 mph in less populated areas. A hearing on the bill hasn't yet been set.

The push for a lower speed limit harkens back to 1974, when the country was facing another energy crisis and Congress and President Richard Nixon reduced the limit to 55 mph in response to the Arab oil embargo.

Media Ignores Obama's Communist Mentor
The Post-Chronicle reported:
In a strange development, supporters of Barack Obama's childhood mentor, Frank Marshall Davis, are openly debating the nature and depth of Davis's commitment to the Communist Party and his relationship with the Democratic candidate. The debate has gotten heated.

This unusual debate, which is taking place on Obama's official website, raises the question once again as to why Obama has not been asked by the major media about this relationship. Davis was identified as a Communist Party member by various investigative committees and acknowledged his party membership in a private letter obtained by John Edgar Tidwell, who was sympathetic to Davis and edited his books.

On one side of this debate is somebody claiming to be the son of Davis. On the other side is Alan Maki, a political activist and union organizer with a long history of involvement in left-wing causes. Indeed, Maki confirms that he has been a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA) and was a communist decades ago when he was in the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS).

Although he doesn't support Obama because of his ties to Big Business, Maki wrote a blog on the Obama website stating that he was grateful to Obama for bringing Davis to his attention, and that he, Maki, regarded Davis as his mentor, too. Maki announced the establishment of a "Frank Marshall Davis Roundtable for Change" and invited Obama supporters to join it.

Maki did his homework, which is more than most of our own media have done, and he obtained Davis's books. It is absolutely clear, Maki stated, that Davis was a communist.

In his 1995 book, Dreams From My Father, Obama cites "Frank" as someone who gave him advice on various matters, including race, American values, and college, and read poems to him during his high-school years in Hawaii. One of Davis's poems was a tribute to the Soviet Red Army. Another mocked the work of Christian missionaries.

Wright, Farakhan, Ayers and on and on. Obama is not telling voters the truth about himself, his beliefs and his life. If he said hello I wouldn't believe him. Not for a second.

Nana, the mayor's daughter from Baltimore, censored any dissent from her imperial decree that there shall be no discussion or debate that might reach the ears of the voters. Many voters heard her and Punch Happy Harry Reid claim that President Bush could lift an Executive Order banning of shore drilling, which President Bush lifted, and all would be well. Now, she doesn't want the voter to know that she, Nana Pelosi, queen of the tuna deals, refuses to listen to them, so now we can't listen to anybody from the House.

He ordered up a teleconference with the (current president's) Treasury secretary, granted an audience to the Pakistani prime minister and had his staff arrange for the chairman of the Federal Reserve to give him a briefing. Then, he went up to Capitol Hill to be adored by House Democrats in a presidential-style pep rally.

Along the way, he traveled in a bubble more insulating than the actual president's. Traffic was shut down for him as he zoomed about town in a long, presidential-style motorcade, while the public and most of the press were kept in the dark about his activities, which included a fundraiser at the Mayflower where donors paid $10,000 or more to have photos taken with him.

Obama brings nothing to the Presidency. Except arrogance, way too much pride and a vision of government that Marx would love like nothing else.

A basic rule of free speech, diversity and democracy in a liberal/progressive world is dissenting opinions will not be tolerated. The latest victim of their "reality" is Jon Voight.

I've never thought of Jon Voight as intellectually challenged, but it's hard not to at least consider the possibility after reading his 7.28 Washington Times op-ed piece slamming Barack Obama. "The Democratic party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way," Voight wrote. "It seems to me that if Mr. Obama wins the presidential election, then Messrs. Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America."

I finally get what Angelina Jolie has been on about all these years. (I think.) Most people reading the Voight piece will say, "Okay, the Times gave him the rope and he hung himself." But you'd think an arch conservative working in an overwhelmingly liberal town would think about restraining himself for expediency's sake, if nothing else.

My honest deep-down reaction is that I now have a reason to feel negatively about the guy. I'm not saying Voight is on the HE shit list (although the idea certainly feels good -- just as it felt good to imagine the same thing last spring about Tina Fey when she became a rabid Hillary person on SNL), and I certainly don't think a symbolic condemnation along these lines would matter much to anyone. Nonetheless, it's going to be hard henceforth not to think of Voight as some kind of diseased wingnut.

In the conservative households and workplaces I have known, a healthy debate has always been welcomed. Vice versa, at best, my conservative views have been snidely tolerated even amongst old friends and their families. What is most interesting is that as friends aged, got married and had children, the most aggressive in their condemnation of conservatism was the spouses, especially the women.

I assume I am on somebody's list.

The Media: How Much More Will They Cheat The Public, Their Shareholders And Their Advertisers?

The media is a liar. That much is obvious, even to a blind horse.

Editors repeatedly say they only report the news, but the media actually editorializes in each story with obvious statements, omission of facts and laden adjectives belying their intent. Further, their bias is seen in their embarrassing proselytizing on behalf of "their" candidates when appearing with or in front of them as they perform an agnostic genuflection of adoration and fealty to their latest master.

As a homogeneous society of issue lobbyists, reporters and their administrators deliver their cant as news and when caught out, deny it, gloss over it or present themselves as professionals unable to devine what the problem is.

Bias is presented as fact and fact is presented as bias when said facts collide with their bias. So many issues, such as global warming and teens pregnant with illegitimate children, are viewed through their world view which flies in the face of fact. None the less, stories are filed, edited and printed with one world view only, theirs.

To the media, Bush's compassionate conservatism was merely a cover for his ineptitude and inexperience, but discussions of Obama's ineptitude and experience is merely a dodge by opponents to obscure his message of "change","hope" and "audacity." One candidate's lacking is another' strength in a never ending shell game of bait and switch in our 3rd world media.

Throughout history there has been tragedy. For all those accountable for slavery the ramifications would reverberate to the very core of Africa not only in a historical sense, but also in the here and now as slavery continues its ugly march through the souls of men.

As Saxons, Normans, Celts, Gauls, Romans, Picts all conquered and reconquered and assimilated into each other's societies, so did the Maasai, Luhya and Taita near Kenya in the 1800s as are the Janjaweed, Zaghawa, Fur, and Masalit in Darfur today. Europeans came to the North American continent, traded with, were attacked by and attacked tribes like the Powhatans, Souix, Mohawks, Seminoles, Apach and the Delaware as they had done to each other for eons.

The Europeans won the war(s). Unlike other wars between cultures, the Indian tribes of North America were not assimilated into the new society, and here lies the true tragedy, they were given and placed on reservations as not really Indians anymore nor were they members of the North American society. If there is any real remedy, it would be to abolish the reservation system entirely and for the remaining Indians to enter into the prevalent North American society as citizens of the United States.

If guilt ridden liberals want to start reparations, what are we to have, a great Ponzi scheme where whites give land and money to the descendants of African slaves who must then give land and money to North American Indian descendants who might have to give land and money to any newly found original inhabitants of the continent only to have all sell the land back to whites as each reparation is realized in a Congress that no longer reflects the citizens of the United States? Enter the Mexicans who slaughtered Indians of North and Central America to carve their country into a nation.

So, addressing "tragic" chapters in the history of America is Obama's new schtick. He must not be nuanced enough to realize the full ramifications on countries, societies and tribes world wide. That didn't faze reporters as they, "leapt to their feet and applauded enthusiastically after being told not to do so."

The really sad part is that reporters had to be told not to act like supplicants, but that story of their lying and cheating to those they say they serve seems to be a story not yet fit to print.

"Free" child care and "universal" preschool.
More subsidized public housing.
A fatter earned income tax credit for "working poor."
And even a Global Poverty Act that amounts to a Marshall Plan for the Third World, first and foremost Africa.
His new New Deal also guarantees a "living wage," with a $10 minimum wage indexed to inflation; and "fair trade" and "fair labor practices," with breaks for "patriot employers" who cow-tow to unions, and sticks for "nonpatriot" companies that don't.

That's just for starters -- first-term stuff.

Obama doesn't stop with socialized health care. He wants to socialize your entire human resources department -- from payrolls to pensions. His social-microengineering even extends to mandating all employers provide seven paid sick days per year to salary and hourly workers alike.

Like most 'theorists' of Marxism, Obama doesn't have much experience in getting things done, let alone completed. Like most proponents of Marxism, Obama is an organizer or has been organized, putting people's equality in neat little rows that can be categorized by neat levels of equalness. Much like 'I became a millionaire by writing about your mental poverty to show you just how unfair your economics is.' Put another way, Obama lives in his ill gotten mansion pondering the inequality of the economic masses not having equally cute little pink houses all in a row.
