I enjoy very much being part of BNN/Ohio and having the opportunity to read opposing views. Even though I may disagree with many of them I find that most are good people with interesting and thoughtful views. Lisa Renee does an absolutely outstanding job of being editor and has never been anything but gracious and receptive to my ideas and responsive to my questions.
Why am I apologizing? Simple, my visitors have had to see extreme vulgarities in a few of the headlines on the BNN feed that I have on my site. Unfortunately, some spew their trash as a child might to act cool and 'grown up.' They are neither.
Lisa Renee allowed me share my concern with her. I expressed to her that I have been known to cut loose with some most colorful language from time to time. Unfortunately, many of my friends can attest to that. I am careful not to offend those who do share my opinion that it is perfectly okay to reply to a stupid statement with a, "I don't give a dead rat's (behind)." When I do, it is the child in me that I allow out. My late mother and my wife have never been impressed, swayed or humored when that juvenile in me slipped out the few times it did within their earshot. I apologized immediately and made sure I didn't offend again as I would to any person.
I have no doubt that those that speak like this in a public forum such as BNN's headline ticker do not care if others are offended. They don't care if those with deep feelings of religion or just plain common self respect are offended because these writers understand neither. Actually, I think they're probably amused by their immature and offensive headline histrionics.
Again, I apologize if you have been offended and I am trying to effect a change.

In a stunning display of stupidity and bias MSNBC aired this piece from three morons.
O'DONNELL: Well, I want to play what she said yesterday. Because she did talk to reporters for about eight minutes. Specifically, it's the second sound bite we have here and it is about this dinner. Because she was asked if, in fact, she was heading to this dinner. And the reason it's interesting is because her staff denied to reporters, like myself, that she was actually going to this dinner. And then, she came out and revealed it. Listen to what she had to say about why she wanted to come here to Washington for this dinner.
PALIN: Alfalfa dinner, yes. In fact, that's because President Obama is scheduled to be there. And how often will I have an opportunity to have dinner with the president. I will take up that offer to do so, yeah.
O'DONNELL: Morris, didn't she call him a terrorist on the campaign trail?
MORRIS REID: Well, I think she called him a terrorist among other things. But listen, the woman's hungry. She's got to eat, Norah. We got to feed the woman, don't we.
[ O'DONNELL LAUGHS LOUDLY THROUGHOUT]
REID: You know, she lives in public housing, we got to feed her on the public doll. She got a bridge to nowhere. We love Sarah Palin on the Democratic side. We can't get enough of her.
FEEHREY: You know, Norah, there's nothing like having dinner with 2,000 of your closest friends and the president. So it's going to be a small intimate dinner.
O'DONNELL: However, it is not 2,000 people.
REID: I think -- I don't think she knew -- I think she -- Norah, I think she thought it was just her, and Buckwheat, and Alfalfa, with the president at dinner. She's just clueless, it's ridiculous.
O'DONNELL: Well, she is meeting also with a number of senators, including the Republican leader in the Senate Mitch McConnell, as well as, I think, some -- Senator Snow, there's going to be a private dinner for her at Fred Malik's house. So she is doing a little bit of courting. Many people think that could mean she's gearing up for 2012.

Now, NoraO'Donnell has never been described as the sharpest tool in the shed, but she has to be the only person in DC that didn''t know that Palin was going to the Alfalfa Dinner. That she, Reid and what'shisname got a good chuckle repeating lies about Gov Palin is only indicative of just how brown their noses are. I'd recommend to them that in polite company that they use a Depends as a face mask so as not to offend anyone more than they already do.

It looks like President Obama hasn't gotten acquainted to his White House surroundings. On the way back to the Oval Office Tuesday, the President approached a paned window, instead of the actual door -- located a few feet to his right.
Doors didn't open automatically for Obama’s predecessor either. While making a hasty exit from a 2005 press conference in Beijing, former President George W. Bush tugged on the handles of a door, only to find it locked.
Bush laughed off the blunder, but the pictures still live on as part of Bush's lame duck legacy. However, there was little note taken of Obama's rookie mistake.
Come on you wittards of the left, you can still have BDS. Just tweak it to Barack Derangement Syndrome. It'll work. Besides, it'll give you hours of fun to relive those side splitting conversations with your friends, comrades and family with the original BDS. Queers Being Queer: Another Gender Bender Embarrassment For Obama
Queers show their power to disrupt a peaceful church service. An outstanding display of their self-believed power to quash the belief of others. Also an outstanding example of their inability to be part of grown up discussion.
Bash Back! Raises Hell at Anti-Queer Mega-Church
The Mount Hope Church is a deplorable, anti-queer mega-church in Lansing, Michigan. The church works to institutionalize transphobia and homophobia through several repulsive projects including organized "ex-gay" conferences and so-called "hell houses", which depict queers, trannies and womyn who seek abortions in hell. Mt. Hope is complicit in the repression of queers in Michigan and beyond.
Bash Back! ain't down with that. And so on Sunday November 9th, about thirty radical queers from Lansing, Chicago, Memphis and Milwaukee disrupted the church's most well-attended sermon.
At noon, a small group of folks dressed in pink and black, equipped with a megaphone, black flags, picket signs and an upside-down pink cross began demonstrating outside the church. The group was extremely loud and wildly offensive.
The demonstration drew a majority of Mount Hope's security staff outside to watch them.
Meanwhile, with the guards pre-occupied by the distraction, over a dozen queers had put on their Sunday-best and infiltrated the church's congregation. At the signal that the guards had been lured outside, the infiltrators sprung into action.
A group stood up, declared themselves fags, and began screaming loudly. Upon hearing the loud interruption, other affinity groups went into action. A team that had been hiding under the pews in the closed-off balcony dropped a banner and pulled back the curtains to reveal "IT'S OKAY TO BE GAY! BASH BACK!". Another group threw over a thousand fliers to the entirety of the congregation. The fire alarm was pulled. Queers began making out in front of the pastor. And within a matter of minutes, everyone had evaded the guards and made their escapes.
Bash Back! operatives, still hidden among the congregation observed a person screaming that Satan had come to Mount Hope, that the end was here, that the queers were everywhere. She then began speaking tongues. The dumbfounded pastor, after regaining his composure, went on to speak of the of decadent, depraved wolves that menace his flock of sheep.
Let it be known: So long as bigots kill us in the streets, this pack of wolves will continue to BASH BACK!
We are everywhere.

I like the woods...I just don't know if I would pull my vice president out of the woods randomly.
She came out again today. She was talking to a small town, she said that small towns, that's the part of the country she really likes going to because that's the pro-America part of the country.
You know, I just want to say to her, just very quickly...[expletive] you.
I've never seen someone with a greater disparity between how cute they sound when they're saying something and how terrible what they're saying is.
Don't ya know, Obama, by golly, he just is a terrorist? What? Oh, you know, he just, gosh, kills babies, you know.
I'm so over the idea that only small-town America is the heart and soul. Small-town America is fine, but it's the same as cities. Cities are just a lot of towns piled on top of each other in one place.

The Coward Sissy Men Of Islam
To Middle Eastern men women are chattel. Women are to be bare foot, pregnant and quiet. Except when the sissy boys of Islam need someone to deliver a bomb that they are too cowardly to deliver. I guess they've run out of "martyrs" they can drug up so much as to believe they are doing "god's" work. What a pathetic group of losers.

Four female suicide bombers and a gunman killed at least 70 people and wounded almost 300 others during a string of attacks in central Baghdad and Kirkuk on Monday, officials said.
In Baghdad, three suicide bombers detonated their explosives in three locations within 30 minutes of each other. The attacks killed at least 32 people and wounded 102 others, most of them Shiite pilgrims, an Interior Ministry official said.
Any religion that needs to use women, children and the mentally deficient to kill isn't a religion, it is a hoax. Any religion that needs to bribe its followers with 72 virgins for cowardly men to maim, murder, rape and torture to purify the earth isn't a religion nor is it just a hoax, it is an abomination to God.

Toledo's Finkbeiner Meltdown Continues

The various surveys resulted in a 50-year dispute over the Toledo Strip, which was only five miles wide at the Indiana border and eight miles wide at Lake Erie. Although it has been reported that no shots were fired, Ohio and Michigan militia units were sent to the Toledo Strip between 1835 and 1837. But luck was on Ohio's side. At the time, the Compromise of 1820 allowed the admission of one slave state for one free state. Michigan and Missouri were to be admitted as states, but only when Michigan surrendered the Toledo Strip to Ohio. The reason? Probably because a Presidential election was coming up. State of Ohio residents could vote, while Michigan Territory residents could not.
Ohio might not feel so lucky now.

Although it has been reported that no shots were fired, Ohio and Michigan militia units were sent to the Toledo Strip between 1835 and 1837. But luck was on Ohio's side. At the time, the Compromise of 1820 allowed the admission of one slave state for one free state. Michigan and Missouri were to be admitted as states, but only when Michigan surrendered the Toledo Strip to Ohio. The reason? Probably because a Presidential election was coming up. State of Ohio residents could vote, while Michigan Territory residents could not.
Ohio might not feel so lucky now.

Liars Reid, Pelosi, Hillary, MoveOn, HuffPo And Kos In Bed Together
Gee, it seems as if the Democrats got the memo from Kos and HuffPo. Maybe it was tucked in a wad of cash from communist China via Hsu.

Thank you Hillary for calling out Petraeus for what he is, a liar and a
distorter of facts. While I still prefer an Edwards/Obama ticket, I just
wanted to show some progressive blogosphere love here for Hillary for her
calling a spade a spade here, and subsequently setting the right
wing howling.
The same thanks applies to MoveOn, for their not allowing Petraeus
to parade around like some untouchable holy priest without being called on his

Petraeus is trying to help the Bushies hide their war crimes and war

When the story first started percolating out of their cesspool I had these thoughts. Now, I will let you read Ace and Jeff because I am too angry to write coherently and without swearing which I do not like to do, especially on this blog, but to use an honorable man for their dishonorable goals is just too.......

Oil For Blood In The Middle East
For years we have heard delightful people scream "No blood for oil" or some some such political ditty.
I believe we are in Afghanistan and Iraq for many reasons and the stability of our economy is part of that and oil is part of our economy. Oil is a substance with which a despot like Saddam could use to blackmail or bring governments down.
Question to our friends across the aisle:
Do you want terrorists or terrorist states such as Iran controlling Iraq's oil fields to pursue more terror on innocent people?

Elizabeth & John Edward's New Neighbor
Chapel Hill Welcome WagonWTF TV and Radio is reporting that Monty Johnson is selling his "slummy" property to Ricky Dale Pitts and his neice Ricki Dale Pitts for a reported $1,300 and 536 1/2 pounds of Green Stamps.
The obviously pregnant Mrs. Pitts stated the price was more than they should spend, but "I am so excited I'm gonna (sic) invite Johnny and Beth Edwards to my baby shower. We're gonna (sic) fix up the trailer and clean it and everything. I'm sure they wail (sic) come when they find out we're fixin to vote Democrap. Wail (sic), at least when I'm old enough. We're lookin (sic) to have that Imus guy do the DJing and Ricky is fixin (sic) a baby pig".
Mr. Ricky Pitts stated moving day is as soon as they can borrow a vehicle that runs.
Mr. Johnson is planning to take the proceeds from the sale and "move to a more better neighborhood".
