I've heard what Ann Coulter, Tammy Bruce and others have said about not voting for John McCain if the Senator from Arizona is the Republican nominee. In fact, they say they will vote for the Democrat or this year's Perot wanna-be whether it is Ron Paul or Michael Bloomberg.

I've had people ask me what Reagan would do. He'd tell you to stop acting like the morons in the 1964 Republican Party that tried to undermine Goldwater before and after his nomination. Your majority isn't listening which asks just what service are you doing the nation by helping to elect one of the two most socialist liberal Democrats in the nation to our highest office giving their ilk a leg up in all the other elections being held the same day.

I don't know which is worse, a black racist who is more liberal than Hillary or that Hillary would have to take Bill in and promise not to change the locks again.

When the economy tanks, taxes go up, and families in America, Iraq and Afghanistan have been truly screwed by the likes of Waxman, Kennedy, Schumer, Pelosi, Reid, Kucinich (and the other serving progressives) and Hillary or an Obama you will have really stood up for your beliefs?

As our disgraced and bitter troops are avoided or belittled on the streets of America and around the world I can just see you give that smug look, puff up your chests and say. "If those silly people would have only listened to ME!"

As my boss used to say, "Screw you and the high horse you rode in."

I say, stop acting like you're one of the Democrat Coalition and start participating in our, your, Republic.

Obama, Empty Suits, Empty Seats

You won't see this in most of the news photography, because photographers are packed into press risers, opposite whatever backdrop -- a crowd, a flag -- the campaign prefers.

But while Obama has held some very large rallies in some very small cities -- 14,000 in Boise! -- there have also been quite a few empty seats at some of the bigger venues. (It takes, of course, a certain amount of confidence to stage an event in a huge arena. You won't shut anyone out, but you run the risk of being annoyed by blog items like this one. Obama isn't concerned he'll be seen as having smaller crowds, and where there have been head-to-head crowd counts with Clinton, they vastly favor him.)

An Obama aide said there were 8,000 people in Los Angeles yesterday for a rally with Michelle, Oprah, and Caroline Kennedy, in an arena with a capacity of about 13,000, above.

Here in the Meadowlands in New Jersey today, at the 20,000 capacity Izod Center, about four five of the 28 sections in the lower tier are full, and two more tiers of sections are closed. Hundreds more people are packed in on the floor. The two sets of press risers, of course, face the crowded sections.

At least it's not Hillary's suits. I hope.

Only Nichol's Genes Are Reluctant To Allow That He Might Be With Them

Poor, poor Gene had no such quandary over his decision concerning the crucifix in W&M's chapel though he was reluctant to discuss it. Maybe Gene can reluctantly have "fellatio as art" demonstrations in the chapel, you know reluctantly. Demonstrations of first amendment rights are so hard for educators not to be involved with.

Reluctant Nichol allows sex-workers show at W&M

College of William and Mary President Gene Nichol gave students the go-ahead this morning to hold the controversial Sex Workers' Art Show on campus next month.

In a statement, Nichol said he tried to work with students to hold the event at a venue off the Williamsburg campus.

Students were unable to find an off-campus venue, however, and Nichol said the First Amendment and "defining traditions of openness that sustain universities" required he permit the show be held at the college.

"My views and the views of others in the community about the worth or offensiveness of the program can provide no basis for censoring it," he said.

What right does a community have to judge what is proper in their community? I bet Nichol would censor a discussion of whether community standards are really community standards or an all out assault on the 1st Amendment.

This academic clown should be the current deacon and president of Parsons University, complete with the shark in sun glasses and holding a beer can hanging on the wall behind his Formica desk and glowing statuette of George Washington's father, Plato.

Why Doesn't Mexico Care For Its Citizens?

Since everyone asks how can America and Americans be so cold hearted about poor Mexicans that just want to be honest citizens by illegally entering our country and either lying or acquiescing in lies to obtain employment just to support their family, I must ask why doesn't your government give a tinker's damn about you, you illegal alien?

Question: Why isn't Mexico taking care of its citizens? Why are we getting blamed because Mexico is not taking care of Mexicans?

We, Americans, send Mexicans 70 plus million dollars in foreign aid each year. Here in America we pay welfare, health and childcare to Americans displaced by illegal alien workers from Mexico billions of dollars in addition to our foreign aid to Mexico.

Also, here in America we pay health care as well as different forms of welfare and other costs directly and indirectly for or to illegal aliens each year. Yep, again in billions of dollars paid for illegal Mexicans right here in America in addition to the foreign aid we send Mexico each year. Doubt it? Visit an Omaha Nebraska emergency room on any Saturday night around midnight when English isn't understood. Or try Ohio, Massachusetts or, oh say Texas, New Mexico, Arizona or California which are states that Mexicans plan to take back into Mexico.

Illegal aliens, who are actually illegal Mexicans working illegally in America, love freedom and our opportunities so much that they send over $8 billion back to the ninos in Sonora. Not any to the IRS.

Now, Mexican politicians are upset that we are trying to protect our borders, jobs, hospitals, tax base and citizens. They are upset because it just isn't fair to Mexico and Mexicans.

Sonoran officials slam sanctions law in Tucson visit

A delegation of nine state legislators from Sonora was in Tucson on Tuesday to say Arizona's new employer sanctions law will have a devastating effect on the Mexican state.

At a news conference, the legislators said Sonora - Arizona's southern neighbor, made up of mostly small towns - cannot handle the demand for housing, jobs and schools it will face as illegal Mexican workers here return to their hometowns without jobs or money.

The law, which took effect Jan.1, punishes employers who knowingly hire individuals who don't have valid legal documents to work in the United States. Penalties include suspension or loss of a business license.

Its intent is to eliminate or curtail the top draw for immigrants to this country - jobs.
The Mexican delegation, members of Sonora's 58th Legislature, belong to the National Action Party (PAN), the party of Mexico's president, Felipe Calderón.

They spoke at the offices of Project PPEP, a nonprofit that provides job retraining for farmworkers and other programs.

The lawmakers were to travel to Phoenix for a Wednesday breakfast meeting with Hispanic legislators.

They want to tell them how the law will affect Mexican families on both sides of the border.
"How can they pass a law like this?" asked Mexican Rep. Leticia Amparano Gamez, who represents Nogales.

"There is not one person living in Sonora who does not have a friend or relative working in Arizona," she said in Spanish.

"Mexico is not prepared for this, for the tremendous problems" it will face as more and more Mexicans working in Arizona and sending money to their families return to hometowns in Sonora without jobs, she said.

"We are one family, socially and economically," she said of the people of Sonora and Arizona.
Amparano said the Mexican legislators are already asking the federal government of Mexico for help for Sonora.

Rep. Florencio Diaz Armenta, coordinator of the delegation, represents San Luis, south of Yuma, one of Arizona's agricultural hubs, which employs some 28,000 legal Mexican workers.

"What do we do with the repatriated?" he asked. "As Mexicans, we are worried. They are Mexicans but they are also people - fathers and mothers and young people with jobs" who won't have work in Sonora."

He said the Arizona law will lead to "disintegration of the family," as one "legal" Mexican parent remains in Arizona and the other returns to Mexico.

Mexican politicians are upset that America will not do their job of taking care of their own Mexican citizens? They pull out all the typical liberal crap to emphasize Mexican family, children and kindness without once asking about American families, our children or how far our kindness can be extended. Nor do they want to discuss the criminal aspect of the subject.

The only group more disingenuous than the simpering lying delegation of these Mexican politicians are those in this country that speak to the humanity of legislation only if it appears to unfavorably apply to their allies in crime from any country other than America.

Mexicans, please go home and ask your president and your government why they do not think you are human beings worth helping. Your own government should care a tad more about you than our foreign government.

You illegals, ever wonder why your Mexican government doesn't care about you as a Mexican citizen? It is because your government knows you're an expendable chit that can be spent in America because America will make your government a profit which they will never spend to help you as an illegal alien that risks your life to support a family that the Mexican government doesn't give a damn about.

We are fools. You are fools. Your Mexican government is screwing you blue. Go home and change your government and leave our's alone. I am, in fact we as a nation, are tired of dealing with you and your sorry ass story that is supposed to make us like you. If I showed up in your small village and took your job, got your benefits and had sex with your girl friend, would you like me? Didn't think so.

Now Ohio Dem Leader Needs Ethics Training For GOTV Training

Sen. Ray Miller (D., Columbus), new minority leader in the Ohio Senate after a cloak and dagger peer hall putsch, seems to have some questionable dealings that had some Democrats scratching their heads after they helped him topple Sen. Teresa Fedor of Toodeelydoo.

As to the fundraising efforts of the dozen Dems in the Ohio Senate I would have to assume that only paying less than half your bill will make the ledger sheet appear more robust.

Miller owes Downtown hotel $26,000
Records show that the National Progressive Leadership Caucus, founded by Miller, hosted a dinner at the hotel and was billed $46,278. After an initial payment of $20,000, the remainder of the debt remained unpaid, the records show. Message were left with Miller's office and the hotel seeking further details.

The debt was not listed on Miller's 2007 financial disclosure form for the state, which covered calendar year 2006.

Public officials aren't required to report debt incurred during normal business activities. There is, however, a space on the form for listing all names under which an official and family members do business. Miller did not list the Leadership Caucus there, nor does it appear as a registered corporation, nonprofit or political entity in state or federal databases.

The Center for Urban Progress, which Miller listed as his employer in that year, failed to file its statement of continued existence in 2005 and had its business status canceled, state business filings show.

So the new minority leader started one group, was paid by another and neither are a real business in Ohio. I guess unreal businesses don't have to pay their bills nor do they have to follow the law concerning disclosure because since they're not real then their expenses and other obligations aren't real either. I have to wonder if Rev. Strickland was treasurer or just the financial advisor.

It is going to be an interesting year right here in the heart of it all.

Bernanke's got a sense of humor, and needs it

Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio) may want to take a little more time reading the bios of congressional hearing witnesses.

At today's House Budget Committee hearing at which Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is testifying, Kaptur had just asked Bernanke this somewhat mind-boggling question: what did he think of the idea that Wall Street "bankers, fiananciers and board members" who contributed to the subprime mortgage mess be forced to "pay back" their salaries and bonuses to help pay for the economic stimulus package being discussed in Washington. At least she didn't ask him his view on perpetual motion machines.

Leading into her next question she said: "… Seeing as how you were the former CEO of Goldman Sachs…."

"No, no, no, you're confusing me with the Treasury Secretary, said a smiling Bernanke."

In short, Marcy, munchkins are munchkins and not all Elois are the same. Some Elois are created more equal than others. Apparently, so are some Morlocks such as Marcy who helped her "friend" avoid all the mess of a mortgage by buying a house for her.
