Ron Paul has increased his Presidential vote lead submitted by his hand picked staff of 30 to 19,860 which breaks down the multiple voting and the dead vote to an average of 656 votes per person, depending on how long each voter has been dead or how long the semi-alive voters could concentrate during one session at the computer.

It is reported that Hoffa delivered the increased dead vote, but Hoffa did not return phone calls in reference to this story. Youngstown police also had no comment nor did the turf at Giant's Stadium.

GOP Hopefuls Generally Agree on Iraq

Republican presidential contenders sparred over abortion on Sunday but
generally agreed the United States must remain in Iraq as part of the war on
terror.

"Just come home," countered Texas Rep. Ron Paul, the lone dissenter
on a debate stage when it came to Iraq. He said there had never been a good
reason to go to war in the first place.

"Has he forgotten about 9/11?" interjected former Massachusetts
Gov. Mitt Romney.

I beg to differ. Let's just discuss one war, WWII. Evil is a weed that must be destroyed all the way to its deepest root. To ignore evil is to acquiesce in evil.

To not help people that are being slaughtered, tortured and held in political bondage is an evil. An unthinkable evil that stuns me coming from Americans who have enjoyed so much freedom and now have become so selfish as to not help others.

Selfishness becomes stupidity for those unwilling to defend themselves, especially those who close their eyes and deny even the necessity.

Declaring a new direction in energy policy, the House on Saturday approved $16 billion in taxes on oil companies, while providing billions of dollars in tax breaks and incentives for renewable energy and conservation
efforts.


Republican opponents said the legislation ignored the need to
produce more domestic oil, natural gas and coal. One GOP
lawmaker bemoaned "the pure venom ... against the oil and gas industry."

The House passed the tax provisions by a vote of 221-189. Earlier it
had approved, 241-172, a companion energy package aimed at
boosting energy efficiency and expanding use of biofuels, wind power and
other renewable energy sources.

"We are turning to the future," said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Yep, Nancy, we are headed in a new direction and it has little to do with energy policy except for you to pander to the enviro wackos for their votes. As usual, Congressional liberals don't really want to look at the effects of their policies such as bio and the rising cost of food in the wake of their feel good legislation.

Result, higher food prices, higher gas prices including home heating fuel and more taxes to the government and less money to actually solve problems that we, as a nation, face.

The right direction would be more domestic drilling and the building of more refineries, Congress won't accept that.

Somebody should tell Congress that they are doing work on behalf of the pricing department of OPEC right here in America, but then I believe they already know that.

Couple of problems here:

1) There are no Whole Foods stores in Iowa, so chances are no one from
Adel had "gone into" one lately.

2) Iowa grows mostly corn. Agricultural commodity issues are vrey
important here, but arugala isn't likely as critical to Iowans
as corn.

7 Arrested in Death of Oakland Newspaper Editor

A day after a prominent newspaper editor was shot to death downtown,
the police here on Friday arrested seven men and seized several weapons that
they suspected were used in his killing and those of two other
men.

Oakland police officials said they suspected that the men were part of a group operating “a very violent criminal enterprise” out of a neighborhood bakery.

The arrests came after a predawn raid by SWAT teams at the bakery,
the Your Black Muslim Bakery, and three bakery-owned properties, where the
police found several firearms, including the gun they believe was used to kill
the editor, Chauncey Bailey, of the weekly Oakland Post.

Mr. Bailey, 57, was shot several times at close range on Thursday
morning at a busy intersection near the Alameda County courthouse here. He had
been working on an article for the newspaper about possible links between the
bakery and several killings in the area, said Walter Riley, a lawyer for the
newspaper’s publisher, Paul Cobb.

AN ODD CLOSE. As the Military and Progressives panel came to an end, a
young man in uniform stood up to argue that the surge was working, and cutting
down on Iraqi casualties. The moderator largely freaked out. When other members of the panel tried to answer his question, he demanded they "stand down." He demanded the questioner give his name, the name of his commander, and the name of his unit. And then he closed the panel, no answer offered or allowed, and stalked off the stage,

Wes Clark took the mic and tried to explain what had just occurred:
The argument appears to be that you're not allowed to participate in politics
while wearing a uniform, or at least that you shouldn't, and that the questioner
was engaging in a sort of moral blackmail, not to mention a violation of the
rules, by doing so. Knowing fairly little about the army, I can't speak to any
of that. But it was an uncomfortable few moments, and seemed fairly contrary to
the spirit of the panel to roar down the member of the military who tried to
speak with a contrary voice.

Liberals respond with their usual aplomb.

2. In her April 7, 2006 declaration, Hillary sworn that she could remember nothing of what she and Peter discussed at either the Spago lunch or Gershman. Peter had 5 hours of home video. Things will be shown on film that should could not have possible forgotten discussing.
3. Hillary has had filed on her behalf four false FEC reports.

I am so tired of people that state, "both parties suck", or "I'm independent. I vote for the candidate". BS, you're either part of the solution or you are part of the problem. Fence sitting is worse. A political party reflects those that vote for and those that are active in the party. This is true at the national and state level as well as at the local level. The local level is the beginning or training ground for politicians seeking higher office thus very important.


Independents, like the Green Party and others, dilute the direction of the elected. Ask the Democrats about Nader and ask the Republicans about Perot. These two examples selfishly and arrogantly thwarted the will of the majority, thus the will of the nation.


If you don't like the direction your party is taking, get off your butt and get involved. To say that neither party represents you is disingenuous. Either you are looking for the perfect match or you are looking to avoid a commitment. If you won't get involved then you are just whining and the rest of us do not want to hear it.


Fence sitters and independents enable big government liberals to grow government in terms of size, budget, regulations and laws that strangle the citizenry and business by not being organized to stop them. Many independents also vote for the candidate that will give them the biggest share at the public trough. These are the lowest of the low in my opinion.

Our traditional one man, one vote and the two party system made us strong. All those that say we need a third party do not appear to know history. Those that say they're all crooks and liars do not stop and reflect that our elected officials reflect us as our choice. To all those crooks and liars shouting they're all crooks and liars, you are one in the same.

I am a conservative, but I don't need a Conservative Party because that would dilute my vote. I vote with Republicans because they reflect my hopes, desires and values far more than the Democratic Party.
