Public Unions To America: Waah! Our 'Right' Trumps Your Fright

The people are frightened by what has happened. They see their future and the future of their children threatened. Unions, as well, see their future threatened. The former represent the nation. The latter represent a small portion of a nation. Obama and the Democrats are vocally supporting the latter while few politicians support the former.

The unions don't care one damn what the nation wants or what is right for the nation. They want what they have and want more and the public better get on board or they will stomp their feet and do their best to cripple anything that might threaten their strangle hold on public services. In their mind we work for them. In their mind we should fall to our knees and bless the day that they, the unions, love our children, love America and protect and serve us all for the goodness of being a union member. What a crock. They want money, benefits and the right to pontificate just how much they deserve both. If the state and federal government is broke it's not their fault because they deserve every extra they get. Besides, there are still boatloads of millionaires that haven't been financially broken yet, so get to them first.

Webutante has some excellent insights into this phenomenon.

Combine the self-serving ‘rights’ of union members with the self-serving ‘obligations’ of community organizers such as Obama and his never ending campaign staff at Organizing for America and one sees a brotherhood for a dysfunctional America. Purposely so, but it brings all of the dysfunctional naïve partisans for their better America together in one smug self righteous campaign of feigned intellectualism that cannot allow reality to interfere with their political goals.

We are broke. Broken. In debt. And none of them care one whit because they have goals that suit them.

Follow the money, Washington reporters like to say. The money in this case comes from taxpayers, present and future, who are the source of every penny of dues paid to public employee unions, who in turn spend much of that money on politics, almost all of it for Democrats. In effect, public employee unions are a mechanism by which every taxpayer is forced to fund the Democratic Party.

Which is why the Democrats/Libs/Progs are fighting with everything they have including the cadre of stooges they have compiled to stop any righting of the ship in states such as Wisconsin, Ohio and Indiana. Their political life depends on public unions because without them their political life is over.

Roosevelt's reign certainly was the bright dawn of modern unionism. The legal and administrative paths that led to 35% of the nation's workforce eventually unionizing by a mid-1950s peak were laid by Roosevelt.
But only for the private sector. Roosevelt openly opposed bargaining rights for government unions.
"The process of collective bargaining, as usually understood, cannot be transplanted into the public service," Roosevelt wrote in 1937 to the National Federation of Federal Employees. Yes, public workers may demand fair treatment, wrote Roosevelt. But, he wrote, "I want to emphasize my conviction that militant tactics have no place" in the public sector. "A strike of public employees manifests nothing less than an intent on their part to prevent or obstruct the operations of Government."
And if you're the kind of guy who capitalizes "government," woe betide such obstructionists.
Roosevelt wasn't alone. It was orthodoxy among Democrats through the '50s that unions didn't belong in government work. Things began changing when, in 1959, Wisconsin's then-Gov. Gaylord Nelson signed collective bargaining into law for state workers. Other states followed, and gradually, municipal workers and teachers were unionized, too.
Even as that happened, the future was visible. Frank Zeidler, Milwaukee's mayor in the 1950s and the last card-carrying Socialist to head a major U.S. city, supported labor. But in 1969, the progressive icon wrote that rise of unions in government work put a competing power in charge of public business next to elected officials. Government unions "can mean considerable loss of control over the budget, and hence over tax rates," he warned.
There was "a revolutionary principle rather quietly at work in American government," he wrote.
The principle was working at about 100 decibels in Wisconsin's Capitol last week, once the union drum-beaters got going. What worked them up was the money they'd concede, they said, but even more that Walker would make their unions surrender the control they'd gained over every government budget.

Control. Power. Self gratification.

The message about what it calls the "Summer Organizing Fellowship" adds: "Effective organizing doesn't happen in a vacuum. It takes commitment, time, and hard work to build a movement around a cause." It does not specify what the "cause" is, other than promoting Obama and his agenda.
News of the community organizer drive went out in an e-mail to millions of supporters and past donors Tuesday night by the ongoing arm of the Obama campaign, Organizing for America.
It appealed for workers of all ages to volunteer to undergo professional organizational training this summer for stationing in communities all over the nation to drive President Obama's social and political agenda.
The cadres "will be assigned to a specific community," the message informs, "where they'll work to organize supporters street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood."
"In the end," the Obama campaign appeal says of the community organizer corps, "their work will take our grassroots power to an impressive new level."

An impressive new level. Indeed. An impressive new level for whom? The nation, actually the world, has made it clear what they think of the Obama agenda and they don’t like it. Team Obama, the unions (who are profiting from their 100s of millions in campaign donations), public sector unions, progressives and socialists don’t care about those they say will have to fund their goals. That those don’t have a say means their opinion doesn’t matter.

Welcome to the new and changed United States of America. Your opinion is not important and if you persist in disagreeing with our new leaders you are a racist which automatically makes you suspect and irrelevant.

After all, they believe their rights supersede our rights.

SB 5 Protest In Columbus, Ohio

This was a well staged protest with union members bussed in from all over the state of Ohio and from out of state. There were many professional protesters who literally were calling out scripts for chants, cheers and actions and acted out for the numerous news outlets there.

Here is a slide show. Click on an image to see it enlarged.

Our Brave New World: Bloody Purple Buckwheat

Many times I have heard people say, "It's getting weird these days." Actually, I am fairly glad we don't have women standing outside the White House chanting, "Ma,ma,where's my pa?" We do have (perpetually) disgruntled liberals still gleefully running around chanting about Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemming demanding that we all acknowledge it as true despite the facts. Things really do not change, just the people and the derangement du jour being practiced.

Obama's Allies Calling for Unionists to "Bloody" Tea Party Protesters?

Furthering their goal of a civil discourse in politics leftists in and out of the Obama administration want union members to beat the living Hell out of Tea Party members.

The Purple Nurple gang is teaming up with the AFL-CIO to deliver their brand of "bloody" to those with whom they disagree as the Goons and Grapes Gang.

But, but, but...

Hagan said it’s an attempt to make him look bad.

“They are so full of ----,” he said. “They’re so negative, these teabaggers.”

He said that Republicans, as the ones who are cutting programs for the poor and rights for public employees, should be the ones defending themselves.

“I have no apologies for telling her to shove it where the sun don’t shine,” Hagan said. “I’m a liberal. I’m happy to be a liberal. I’m a progressive liberal and I have a record of fighting for equal rights, for civil rights, for women’s rights. The only thing I regret is responding to them at all.”

How much does the sun shine in LibProgland where all the flowers are bloody and purple, but the Buckwheats are all happy? At least they are trying to be civil about their incivility. Sounds a little lame, but it is a start, eh?

Leftist Love Of Hate Grows With each Defeat

Much Reported WI Surplus To Slam Gov Walker A Fraud

Budget gimmickry. Cooking the books. According to lightweights like Rachael "facts elude me" Maddow, Governor Walker of Wisconsin is guilty.

Lib/Progs have slammed Gov Walker for giving away hundreds of millions of dollars away to "special interests." Walker actually spent state funds to begin the long crawl out of the hole that the state's previous progressive administrations put Wisconsin in by assisting those that need medical accounts and for business to begin hiring again.

But, according to a scenario so popular amongst leftists that hate Walker and call him "Hitler", the state was not in a stage of deficits, in fact it had a surplus that Walker gave away to his buddies and special interest groups.

That is a lie.

Rachel Maddow says Wisconsin is on track to have a budget surplus this year

There is, indeed, a projected deficit that required attention, and Walker and GOP lawmakers did not create it. [...]
The confusion, it appears, stems from a section in [Director of the nonpartisan Legislative Fiscal Bureau Robert] Lang’s memo that -- read on its own -- does project a $121 million surplus in the state’s general fund as of June 30, 2011.
But the remainder of the routine memo -- consider it the fine print -- outlines $258 million in unpaid bills or expected shortfalls in programs such as Medicaid services for the needy ($174 million alone), the public defender’s office and corrections. Additionally, the state owes Minnesota $58.7 million under a discontinued tax reciprocity deal.
The result, by our math and Lang’s, is the $137 million shortfall.
It would be closer to the $340 million figure if the figure included the $200 million owed to the state’s patient compensation fund, a debt courts have declared resulted from an illegal raid on the fund under former Gov. Jim Doyle.
A court ruling is pending in that matter, so the money might not have to be transferred until next budget year.
A state that is in debt, has public sector union members averaging twice the annual compensation of private sector workers and spending habits that cannot be sustained.

"...and Socialist governments traditionally do make a financial mess. They [socialists] always run out of other people's money. It's quite a characteristic of them." - Margaret Thatcher.

Obama Sides With Wealthy Union Protesters

Who ever was negotiating with the public unions in Wisconsin should be brought to trial for collusion.

TEACHERS IN WISCONSIN MAKE MORE THAN TWICE THE PER CAPITA INCOME OF THEIR FELLOW WISCONSINITES (UPDATED)

So, our 'hope and change' president is aiding the wealthy in Wisconsin to steal from the poor workers of the state.

How unironic.

Obama & Pelosi Stand In 'Solidarity' With Protesters Against Voters

President Obama and Secretary of Democrat Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi side with the protesters against the newly elected Republican governors and legislatures ensuring that the illegal strikes and protests will spread across the nation.

Obama joins Wisconsin's budget battle, opposing Republican anti-union bill

The president's political machine worked in close coordination Thursday with state and national union officials to get thousands of protesters to gather in Madison and to plan similar demonstrations in other state capitals.

Pelosi backs Wisconsin protesters
Wisconsin's workers, teachers and public servants must have a seat at the table to fight for a safe workplace,” she said. “I stand in solidarity with the Wisconsin workers fighting for their rights, especially for all the students and young people leading the charge.”

As president of all Americans Obama has decided to emphatically side with his base, the unions, who poured hundreds of millions of dollars into his election. This not just purely partisan, but part of larger plan to fundamentally change America, how it is governed and how our society works.

Unfortunately, most people are not surprised that Obama and Pelosi are finally going public with their bi-partisan leadership. After two years of unpopular leadership and legislation voters have become aware of what they elected and now reject this brand of 'change.'

Obama and Pelosi don't understand what they are doing. Probably because they are incapable of real leadership.

Socialists Want WI Gov Walker Removed By Whatever Means Necessary

They perpetuate the lie that Gov Walker gave millions of dollars to the wealthy. They say the struggle will sweep across the nation. Walker has asked the unions to pay up to 5.8% toward their pensions and up to 12% for their health care benefits. They believe that unlike other people they shouldn't have to pay into their pensions and health benefits. Their math doesn't add up. Not even close.

They say they will remove Gov. Walker and if they have to physically do so that's just fine.

Obama, Unions, Socialists Behind Protests, Havoc & Illegal Acts In Wisconsin

The Socialist Party has a long, violent and sordid history in Wisconsin. The current protesters would make Victor Berger proud. Today's Socialist Party is very involved with the protests in Wisconsin and Ohio and are planning more actions in other cities and states.

They see it as the sparking point to spread across America to tear down our government and our form of government. They are not joking. They are deadly serious.

National Guard May Deploy as Socialists, Unions Wreak Havoc in Wisconsin

The rabid activists swarming the capitol in Madison were caught vandalizing property, distributing subversive literature, putting fear into innocents, pounding on legislators’ doors and windows, shouting, and furiously banging drums, according to witnesses. Some of the protestors were videotaped carrying signs comparing Governor Walker to Hitler, Mussolini, and deposed Egyptian despot Hosni Mubarak. Other more violent placards featured him with gun crosshairs trained on his face. One sign likened budget cuts to rape. And the mob left behind mountains of trash in its wake.

Among the flyers being distributed was one from the World Socialist website entitled “Unite workers and youth to defeat Wisconsin budget cuts.” Produced by the Socialist Equality Party and International Students for Social Equality, the document urged protestors to use the demonstration in Wisconsin as “the starting point for a mass movement.”

Claiming that the “economic and political system has failed,” the groups exhorted demonstrators to reject both parties, create “independent” committees of students and workers, nationalize corporations, seize the wealth, and usher in socialism. “The capitalist system has failed and must be replaced with a new type of society based on social need,” the flyer stated, promoting the transformation of businesses into “publicly owned and democratically controlled entities.”

Another flyer from the protests obtained by The New American, headlined “Collective Bargaining is a MUST!” called for higher taxes on corporations and “the rich.” It proposed a series of new taxes and tax increases to balance the state budget, urging readers to visit socialistworker.org for more information and updates.

People who have been following the demonstrations closely reported that Madison was a chaotic scene. “The place is under siege by union thugs, rent-a-mobs, and high schools kids let out of school because the teachers have abandoned their posts,” explained The New American magazine’s Ann Shibler, who has received continuous updates on the protest as it developed from sources within the Capitol.

“That beautiful and recently restored building has been trashed. Bands of thugs are roaming the halls, blockading restrooms, stairwells, and elevators,” she said. “They scream and yell, bang drums, and run around with clenched fists, banging on the windows and doors of the locked legislators' offices.”
She also said students were being used for political purposes and that “thugs” had been bussed in from Illinois. “Keep in mind the majority of these thugs are teachers, who are teaching impressionable children,” she said, noting that Gov. Walker should have called in the National Guard already to prevent the “teachers’ union mobocracy” from overrunning the capitol. “I would also fire every teacher that abandoned their post over this across the state.”
A State Senate staff member reported similar lunacy at the Capitol over the three days of protests. “The police have advised that we lock our doors,” said staffer Jolene Churchill in an e-mail Thursday. “Groups of young kids are marching through the halls yelling at the top of their lungs,” she explained, noting that drums were banging, restrooms and elevators were blockaded, and that there had been vandalism on Wednesday.
“Angry crowds are pounding on our glass windows,” she reported. “Please, please pray for our state.”
Despite the fear, chaos and damage they inflicted, organizers and protest leaders were quite happy with the demonstrations. “I have never been prouder of our movement than I am at this moment,” Wisconsin AFL-CIO President Phil Neuenfeldt told the crowd.

Elizabeth Wrigley Field is a socialist resident student at UW-Madison and she appears to be one of the leaders of students at the forefront of the protests, violence and vandalism.

This is the face of those protesting in Wisconsin. This is the face of modern unions including public sector unions. This is about power and control not money. The union members make more money than those in the private sector and their benefits are unbelievable. So much so they are bankrupting the state and the nation.

Enough is enough. Their time is over because the people have had enough of them.

Obama & DNC Behind Spreading Protests, Illegal Sick Outs, Riots And Threats

Saul Alinsky would be so proud of his student. He'd be proud of the community organizer he has become.

DNC playing role in Wisconsin protests

Remember when we had presidents who were leaders of all the people? Obama ain't one of them. He is helping spread the illegal strikes, sick outs, name calling and the slapping of voters in the face over the last election.

In short, he is not our president. He is a shill for bureaucrats, union bosses and those that hate. They are his base.

Now he plans to spread the illegal acts and riots to other states like Ohio, Indiana, Idaho, Massachusetts and Minnesota. All these acts now belong to Obama.

BUMMER: AVG Milwaukee Teacher Compensation Is $100,005 For 2011

and that compensation is for 180 days of work minus sick and personal days.

The average Milwaukee Public School teacher will be receiving $100,005 in compensation this year – $56,500 of that is in salary, and a whopping $43,505 is in benefits.

No wonder they're having students skip school with them to riot.

It's not about money. They make a ton. It's about control and power and to them the voter has no part in that power and control. The voter is an obstacle and in their minds not their boss.

Public Sector Unions Scream 'Give Me Now' And Whisper 'Screw The Kids'

The US is out of money. States are out of money. Unions, acting like Hitler Youth as they scream 'Nazi', don't care. They want what they want now. They don't care about reality nor do they care about tomorrow or next year nor years from now. They're selfish little bastards.

U.S. government debt is absolutely exploding.  The U.S. national debt is currently $14,081,561,324,681.83.  It is more than 14 times larger than it was back in 1980.  Unfortunately, the national debt continues to grow at breathtaking speed.  In fact, the Obama administration is projecting that the federal budget deficit for this year will be an all-time record 1.6 trillion dollars.  Can we afford to continue to accumulate debt at this rate?....

Unless something changes right now, the outlook for U.S. government finances in future years is downright apocalyptic.  The chart posted below is from an official U.S. government report to Congress.  As you can see, it is projected that interest on our exploding national debt is absolutely going to spiral out of control if we continue on the path that we are currently on....

This is what I love about the Democrat's Democracy, if they don't like the results of an election, especially when that election was a result of their horrendous policy, they just resort to bullying, name calling and shutting down government.

Like I said before, they're banana republic politicians who act like little children and do not believe in our representative democracy.

Democrat Daddy Long Legs Standing With The People Of Wisconsin

So, the brave Democrats have run away and are hiding in another state? But they're standing with the people.

Budget Battle: GOP Senator Says Dems Have Left State

But according to the Twitter account of Democrat State Senator Chris Larson from Bay View, "For those looking for us, we are right here, standing with the people of Wisconsin."

I know the Democrats have long fingers for picking pockets and long noses from lying so it seems probable that they have long legs that allows them to bravely stand with the people while in a different state.

I wonder if Democrats will show the same bravery here in Ohio. Strickland's stricken could slink off to Pittsburgh, but I hear they've closed down the brothels there so anywhere is your guess.

Wisconsin Democrats Vote Against Democracy

The police are searching for Democrat Senate members of the Wisconsin legislature who are violating the law by refusing to vote on a bill that would negate collective bargaining legislation needed to save Wisconsin's fiscal state.

Senate Dems leaving city to avoid participating in budget vote

Acting like a third world banana republic the Democrat Senate members have run and hidden from the vote. Like most liberal/progressive legislators they are thwarting the will of the people.

Impeach them all. Once gone deny them any pension or any other benefit.

US To Rebuke Israel In UN Security Council

The United States flexes its power with all the strength of a 110 lb weakling that insists on remaining intellectually skinny. Yep, it’s getting sand kicked in its face. Every day. Every hour. And it has shrunk even more to like it better.

A new bully has arisen in the schoolyard who is bullying, as a bully is want to do, the different kid in school. So, the US surmises that it really, really wants to be friends with the new bully because of what it learned in his new multiculturalism classes and also because he’s scared. He knows the bully is just a misunderstood kid. Loud, obnoxious and not quite right in the head, but really, just misunderstood. He also thinks that the bully is just begging for attention.

The US formulates a plan. His family, his advisors and others tell him not to do it, but his teachers and the principle applaud him and give him little gold stars on the bulletin board in the hall for all to see. He is so blinded by pride that he doesn’t see the other kids laughing at him.

The little boy called US wants to help the other students understand that the bully is good underneath, though scared himself of the bully, and that the different student is really at fault for standing up to the bully because he is only making the bully more so. It is the different student’s fault because he won’t understand that we are really all alike. US decides to hit a home run to settle this because he is fearful in his little heart that it may get worse out then in the play yard, in the halls and in the classroom if he doesn’t find a really cool compromise.

He decides to confront the different student with the possibility of becoming an outcast. He says that if the different student doesn’t come to understand that his belligerence in wanting to be not bullied is only making the bully stronger then he, the US student, will have to make a stand to force the different student to compromise, if only to protect the different student .

After speaking with his teachers, his principle and the counselors from the district multiculturalism council the kid US confronts the different student by siding with the bully over whether the bully has a right to call the different student names because the bully wants the different student’s locker. He proudly sides with the bully, if only to protect the different student from even worse abuse and bullying.

When the different student laughs at the boy US and the bully and walks away, the little boy US shakes his head and proclaims he has done all that can be done to protect the different student and that he really, really hopes that things could be changed.

The bully is outraged. He yells that he tried to get along; he cries that people misunderstand him and he throws things and screams that he has rights. The teachers comfort the bully and the principle calls the different student to the office. The different student calmly listens to the principle and when he is finished the different student explains his point of view to the principle. He explains that he had the right to his locker because the principle and the school had assigned him that locker. He further states that ethically he cannot accept bullying because his parents had been bullied, his grandparents had been bullied and, in fact, his ancestors through time had been bullied and that taught him that the bullying had to stop here.

The principle, standing with the little peacemaker boy called US, called all the teachers and counselors into the great assembly hall to announce that they had to come to a resolution to the problem. The different student would not only relinquish his locker, he would also give his seat on student council and his place on the honor roll to the bully and he, the different student, would publically apologize to the bully, the entire student body and the community for supporting hatred and for fomenting injustice.

The teachers, the bully, the counselors and the principle beamed with the satisfaction of knowing that their cool heads had averted an explosive situation. The school became a model of multiculturalism to guide other schools to what they must do.

The different student gave up his seat on the student council and so did other students. The different student handed over his place on the honor roll to the bully and students saw that the honor roll was no longer something to aspire to. He gave the key to his locker to the principle and other students decided that they no longer needed their lockers. The different student sent a note to his public apology ceremony stating that he meant only to stand up for his rights and that he hadn’t intended to offend the good people of the community. Then he transferred to another school.

The little boy US became editor of the school paper and valedictorian of his class. US started having lunch with the principle, teachers and the bully though each day the bully grew larger as he consumed more and more of their lunch. During these lunches the bully brought up how unfair the curriculum was to bullies everywhere and how it might cause further unrest if the curriculum wasn’t changed. In their wisdom, the teachers, the principle, the counselors and the little boy US decided that the student body and the community would be better served if the bully's changes were implemented.

Soon, the school name was changed to Bully High School, the curriculum represented the bully's view of the world and students drifted off to other schools and talked about the different student and his stand. The little boy US grew up to be the little man US and for a time made his way as a peacemaker. The bully grew fat and powerful and even more arrogant in his bullish stupidity. He was still always angry, but he became the principle finally. The school reflected him.

That’s how a 110 lb weakling negotiates from weakness.

NEA & Unions (same thing) Lie & Teach Our Children To Lie

Being held to the realities of economies, which they helped destroy, is a harsh lesson for teachers, bureaucrats and unions. So they lie, cheat and shirk they responsibilities and in the process teach students to do the same.

Every one of them should be fired and prosecuted.

Obama Health Care Could Shut Down 84,000 Lives With The Flick Of A Switch

It's funny, the dictionary doesn't have U.S. Government as the definition of "competence."

U.S. Government Shuts Down 84,000 Websites, ‘By Mistake’

Yeah, knowing it's just one of those quirky government glitches will perk you right up when you're dead. Right? With Obama Care at least 84,000 people will rest more comfortably in their coffins.

Maybe that's why Obama wants an Internet "kill switch" for. It would be so much less messy in the press than death panels.

How Liberals/Progressives Justify Their Hatred Bias Via Megan McArdle

What Does Bias Look Like?

Those people offered their own alternate theories, which boiled down to:
  • Smart people are almost always liberal
  • Curiosity and interest in ideas is a liberal trait
  • Conservatives are too rigid and authoritarian to maintain the open mind required of a professor
  • Education erases false conservative ideas and turns people into liberals
  • Conservatives don't want to be professors because they're more interested in something else (money, the military)
  • Conservatives don't want to be professors because they're anti-intellectual
  • Conservatives hold false beliefs that make them ineligible to be professors
Megan McArdle has had a very interesting couple of posts on bias as practiced by liberals. I have a large contingent of family members who are professors and I, because of my work, have spent a good amount of time guest speaking at high schools and colleges. The arrogance, especially ideological arrogance, is really quite astounding.

I was once informed that my speaking to a senior civics class was so Neanderthal-like that it took the teacher a week to undo the damage I had done. It seemed that some of the students had never heard that the Civil War was not, as they had been taught, really just the "war to free the slaves" nor was there a constitutional authority to create a hyper-equal citizen that should or does receive extra special consideration under the law.

The second time I spoke at that school other teachers attended the class I was speaking with to "correct" me when I spoke heretical thoughts. It was quite a lot of fun as they had no real basic knowledge of history, law and the constitution. They just had relative outta-be thoughts and their thoughts of what people such as the Founding Fathers were really thinking as they formed our nation (think the dead white rich guy scthtick). Now they just avoid me when I speak. Well, I should say mostly they avoid me because I have become friendly with some, who while still disagreeing with me, like to speak or debate with me outside of the classroom setting. We have fun and I have learned from them. I hope I have imparted so thoughts that they have thought more about.

McArdle focused on the academic world, but it made think of life in general and specifically politics. I believe her list of points could be a liberal list of what is wrong with conservative voters.

•Smart people are almost always liberal

•Curiosity and interest in ideas is a liberal trait

•Conservatives are too rigid and authoritarian to maintain the open mind
required of a voter

•Education can erase false conservative ideas and turn good people into liberals

•Conservatives shouldn’t be voters because they’re more interested in something
else (money, the military) that is detrimental to democracy

•Conservatives are anti-intellectual voters

•Conservatives hold false beliefs that make them ineligible to be voters

Democrats Aid Progressives To Slime Opponents To Block Truth

It is constantly asked, "How low will the Democrats go"? With the help of Progressives, a euphemism for Socialists, they have set their sights on going further into the sewer than they have ever gone before.

Look for the main stream media to immediately assist these people because in the end, the media is part of the group.

Liberals launch anti-Darrell Issa crusade

The group will be run by the principals of SCN Strategies, a San Francisco-based consulting firm that produced ads last cycle for California’s Democratic Gov. Jerry Brown and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.). One of those deeply involved is Averell “Ace” Smith — who ran Hillary Clinton’s successful 2008 California and Texas primary operations and is known as one of the more cutthroat political operatives in the business.

Dan Newman of SCN Strategies, one of the three people leading the anti-Issa campaign, declines to disclose how much is being spent on the effort or who is bankrolling it, telling POLITICO it is being paid for by “patriotic Americans who don’t want to see the potential of an ethically challenged congressional investigator run amok with McCarthyesque fishing expeditions.”

The structure of the organization does not require that it disclose its funding.

But the goal is clear: Newman, Smith and the third partner, Sean Clegg, want to raise enough questions about Issa’s background and personal history that anything he turns up in probes of the Obama administration will be immediately discredited.

It is time to find out who these people are, who they are connected to, who is funding them and to find out how many crimes they have committed.

Grammys

Several people have asked me if I watched the Grammys and, if so, what I thought.

For some reason we watched the Grammys this year. I watched to the very end. I had to. I was so horrified by what I saw and heard I had to watch.

It was horrifying.

Obama's Budget Delivered A Joke

I believe Obama must think that as long as he has checks he must still have money.

The budget he delivered to capital hill is a joke. We'd all laugh if we weren't crying. Having an administration so disconnected from reality is very scary.

Obama's 'have it all' budget: Can he cut, spend, and grow?

I think this type of thinking can no longer be thought of as reckless or the work of people that have no understanding of economics. This is criminal.

Ron Paul's Bogus Straw Poll Win At CPAC

In real life Ron Paul gets maybe 3%. Maybe, but when it comes to straw polls RP wins. Supporters say that their work (swarm) stands and RP should be the nominee. BS.

Ask yourself how many people you know like what Ron Paul stands for. Then ask yourself how many people you know think Ron Paul has a snow ball's chance of winning the presidency. They don't have to be close friends. They can be anyone you've ever met, talked to or seen. There is no credibility.

Then there are Ron Paul dEvolution members. They are abrasive, rude and underhanded and that's the good side. Cheap tricks don't a president make.

CPAC's RP straw poll win isn't just bogus, it is a cheap trick and it makes Ron Paul look like a cheap one trick pony.

Some Things Shouldn't Change

Obama: It's 11:00 PM. Do You Know Where Your Mubarak Is?

Just asking.

Obama Admin To Strengthen UN Instead Of US

Ms. Rice states that we need the UN. That the UN fills a vital need on behalf of the US. Like the US needs the UN as much as the UN needs the US.

Susan Rice kicks off U.N. series

Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, will argue in a major address Friday evening that the nation should “strengthen” — not “starve” — the world body.

The address is the first in a series of speeches — to continue this spring — making the case to the American people for why the U.N. matters to national security, and detailing how it is being improved. The ambassador will be speaking to the World Affairs Council of Oregon in Portland.

The United Nations is a good thought. Communism is a good thought. Both want what Rodney King wants. They all say "Can't we all just get along" after they have hurt, lied, threatened, stole, killed and murdered.

Many ideas are thoughtful, but do not work because the reality of bad people ruin the idea. The UN is filled with such bad people. Thugs, representatives of dictators, assassins and murderers. The good people in the UN have one thing in common with the bad people, they are anti-US.

I humbly submit that President Obama, his administration and the federal bureaucrats try their darndest to start thinking about strengthening America. It will be very hard for them, but I would like to see them at least try it. Once.

Obama Is Not Ignorant He Is Stupid

He didn't see the events in Egypt. He has no idea what to do since the events in Egypt have changed..

The man is in the deep end when he should be wearing water wing in the shallow end,

The man, in so many categories, is stupid.

He is not ignorant. That would be kind.

He is stupid.

Dumber than a box of rocks.

Cut $100 Billion? Why Not $500 Billion? A Trillion?

Government has grown by ridiculous proportions since Team Obama took over, but government has grown massively for 20 plus years including when Republicans had control.

Republicans promise $100 billion in spending cuts

If the personage in Congress and the White House don't understand the concept of limited government they might pick up a copy of the United States Constitution and since they are not busy reading the legislation they are passing maybe the could bone up on what our founders had to say about the correct role of government.

Yeah, like that is going to happen. They could have one of their $120,000 staffers read to them. If those people can read.

Ron Paul Supporters Prove They're Not Conservative Republican Smart

CPAC - Ron Paul's dEvolution has some really good people, but has been hijacked by some complete idiots. Huh? Well, to highlight their support of America they embarrass the pre-eminent conservative convention, a conservative former Secretary of Defense and a conservative former Vice President of the United States of America. This current Team Paul isn't libertarian, they are idiotarian and it shows.

Paul Supporters Hijack Cheney-Rumsfeld Reunion

One Paul Foolian screamed "War criminal" at Cheney which has the Foolian's brothers and sisters at DU cheering. The MSM has already picked up the story (otherwise they would have ignored CPAC) and is, with the help of these morons, attempting to make conservatives look bad.

Good Lord, how far is this group from passing out copies of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and whispering Illuminati conspiracies. Oh, wait...

They're not very bright.

Mubarak 'Hiding' Under Obama Bus

It is reported that Hosni Mubarak with step down from power in a recorded address to Egypt. The recording was supposedly recorded yesterday. Mubarak, it is reported, has been in negotiations for his removal. It is not being reported with whom Mubarak has been negotiating with.

After thirty years in partnership with the United States and Israel Mubarak has been prodded by the Obama administration to step aside. It appears that Obama has thrown Mubarak under the proverbial Obama bus, but it is also apparent that not only did Washington not see this coming, Washington and the administration have no idea what will happen in Egypt with the departure of Mubarak.

Once Mubarak steps down we will have to idly sit aside and watch whether it will be Islamofascists such as the Muslim Brotherhood, the military or pro-democracy forces that will take power. There is no other way to look at this than as a total failure by the Obama administration.

If the worst happens Israel will be the first to feel the wrath of this failure and then free nations around the world will have to brace for best trained and best equipped military in the Middle East to start making moves led by religious fanatics.

Total. Failure.

Lactivists Or Boobs In Public?

Why is it necessary to breast feed in public? It isn't. Why is it inappropriate to breast feed in public, especially in a museum on the National Mall? Because families, as in children, are in attendance and many people find it too personal and a form of public nudity. It is also inappropriate because there are perverts and voyeurs who will be titillated by such public events.

Dozens plan 'nurse-in' at Hirshhorn to highlight right to breast-feed in public

Aita, a stay-at-home mother from Rockville, said she couldn't find anywhere to sit in the restroom, so she returned to the bench. The guard then told her to try sitting on the toilet. When she moved to another bench instead, another Smithsonian guard told her to stop.

"I was shocked," Aita said Tuesday as her 11-month-old, Elaine, chattered away. "What's wrong with nursing? But I wasn't sure of my rights and the law, so I told my husband: 'Let's just go home.' "

There, Aita jumped online and learned of the Right to Breastfeed Act, signed into law by President Bill Clinton in 1999 as part of an appropriations bill. The law ensures a woman's right to breast-feed her child on any federal property where she and her infant are otherwise permitted.

Benches in federally owned properties such as the Hirshhorn, for instance.

Cue the outrage.

Aita was "shocked." Well, I am shocked that it was Bill Clinton who signed a bill allowing public showing of breasts, It must have been in his "blue" period.

Talk about boobs in public. That should be the outrage.

Richard Avedon Photograph Of Robert Frank (With Comment By Eugene Richards)

Robert Frank's photography changed the way I looked at the world and I immediately moved from painting to photography. Richard Avedon, who I watched as an apprentice, changed the way I interpreted the images I looked to record. Eugene Richards sucked the drama out of my vision and gave me clearness.

ROBERT FRANK
photographed by Richard Avedon, 1975

The people who made his book The Americans important were the people of my generation - the people who came of age in the late Sixties, that generation of people dealing with the Vietnam War and questions about the country. The book was a fractured view of the country. It addressed a lot of the obvious metaphors for what America was like, and turned them on end. I first saw that book when I came back from the South in the late Sixties, and I was pretty upset about the country. So then you see this photo book that reflects your emotions of the time, and it becomes a very important work to you. It felt very close to what you were experiencing. Later, you saw it as a remarkable personal expression. At first, the book was a combination of politics and art to me. That's what made it inspirational - that you could actually get your political feelings into pictures. I had been trying, and when I saw that book, I felt very much at home with the guy. Frank is very direct and not overly emotional, but a straightforward guy. He's right to the point. He takes life very seriously. He's low-key, kind of egoless, and very harsh at the same time. As for his other work, I've never been disappointed. I don't know how much of a weight that book is around his neck. Probably a lot. It's a book that rocks everybody.

Dana Milbank Breaks Palin Pledge Daily Hourly

Just like Jimmah Carter ole Monte Milbank can't help himself. There must be a journolist group that secretly meets (electronically with cams) to discuss their lust for Sarah Palin.

Hourly, nee by the minute, they lust in their hearts for Sarah Palin. It's as if they have not just a passion, but an obsession for her.

At the water cooler, "Psst, did you SEE what she was wearing?"

Oh, they mask it by trying to tear her down, just like they did in school when all the popular girls never noticed them. They do have some remorse, even repressed anger, that Gov. Palin can handle a long rifle better than their dad and with more style. It's killing them that she is a better athlete than they ever were, but, ah, the allure. It's driving them to distraction.

One can hear the taunts from classmates,

"You’re in love with Sarah."

"Am not."

"Are too."

"Am not. She's stoopid."

"Ha, Dana's in love with Sarah."

"If you don't shut up I'm gonna tell mommy."

(Chorus) "Dana's in love with Sarah."

"I hate her. I hate her. I hate her."

I hope Milbank isn't waking up with the sweats from his repressed thoughts about a Palin free February. Ole Milbank, that devil, he chose the lover's month to hide his dirty deeds.

Dana's Valentine’s Day will be very rough.

Moore: Fat Man Wants Fatter 9/11 Check

Michael Moore. What can one say other than he is a hypocrite who has made millions making “documentaries” that would in any sane world be merely clumsy propaganda. Now he wants to further profit from the murder of thousands here in America by Islamic thugs posing as religious warriors. Both had profit as their base motive.

Michael Moore vs Movie Accounting: Sues Weinsteins For More 9/11 Movie Profits After Already Pocketing $19.8 Million; Yes Or No - "He Redefines The Term Greedy"?

This is disgusting on so many levels by so many disgusting people. Those that died on 9/11 are merely a profit factor by those that have no feelings or remorse for the dead.
