It took Bush II four years to even come close to the Obama spending spree, but then Bush II didn't nationalize banks, auto companies and every other business or industry he could make his own.

Part of Obama's spending spree has been directed towards jobs for Americans, but so far the jobs have gone overseas and here in the US have fallen 8.5 million jobs short giving us an unemployment rate of about 16.8%.

These are the geniuses that want to nationalize health care fo our benefit. Uh-oh.

To understand our form of government is not hard. Read the Constitution and amendments usually is a pretty easy way to start. To respect and honor our form of government is obviousley not so easy, just look at progressives, the courts and local and state governments and the federal government. They backstab our founders seemingly at will.

The Coffee Party believes the middle is consensus. The Tea Party believes the middle is the Constitution.

The Constitution is not a living document. It is based in principle as the vision for the United States of America's future and the founders deplored the idea of the mob controlling America whether it was the tyranny of the large states stepping on the rights of smaller states, industrial over agriculture or large government crushing the liberty of individuals.

let's start a coffee party . . . smoothie party. red bull party. anything but tea. geez. ooh how about cappuccino party? that would really piss 'em off bec it sounds elitist . . . let's get together and drink cappuccino and have real political dialogue with substance and compassion.

We demand a government that responds to the needs of the majority of its citizens as expressed by our votes and by our voices; NOT corporate interests as expressed by misleading advertisements and campaign contributions.

We want a society in which democracy is treated as sacrosanct and ordinary citizens participate out of a sense of civic duty, civic pride, and a desire to contribute to society. Demand all you want as long as those demands are within the Constitution which clearly lays out the reason and the form of our form of government.

Democracy may be sacrosanct somewhere, but not here. You will call it nitpicking, which belies an ignorance of governance, but the United States of America is a Republic which is quite different than the tyranny of Democracy's majority. Again, you can demand all you want concerning the needs of the majority (who decides those needs to be prioritized by the majority?) as witnessed by your votes and voices, but again, Constitution; Republic; Law.

Vienna, Va.: If you look at the recent Pew study on the Millennial Generation, that group is more progressive than the preceding generations. How are the Coffee Party Groups specifically reaching out to that cohort? They are really important.

Annabel Park: Great point, Vienna! The Millennial Generation, frankly, has a lot to teach the rest of us when comes to appreciation of diversity and a sense of collective identity that transcends the usual lines that divide us. We want to appeal to them to not only be involved, but to take on leadership. We are starting chapters on college campuses where students can come together to practice democracy as a community.

I'm sure one of your instantaneous grassroots support groups will help you with this. Maybe the NEA and the Department of Education?

We believe that, when the Millennial Generation steps up for our country's future, it will lead to profound changes in our politics.

Annabel Park: We want to shift the paradigm from thinking of politics as a zero-sum game with two opposing sides. If one side loses, the other side wins. This is not a democracy. This is a misunderstanding of the tenets of democracy.

And you misunderstand the tenets of the Republic of the United States of America.

Democracy is based on the notion of the common good. People should come together to go through a deliberation process to produce collective decisions that benefit the common good.

Here in our Republic that deliberation process is called elections. You'll see the process in action next November.

What would Abraham Lincoln suggest if he were living today? Would he be willing to sit down and have a cup of coffee and discuss our nations issues? I think so (just maybe not with me). After the Civil War, the North had won a significant battle. He did not tell the people to follow the rules of a zero sum game. He did not recommend that we obstruct democracy but that we be "flexible in our efforts."

Lincoln never stated that we should be "flexible in our efforts." If the Civil War was not a zero sum then Lincoln would have compromised and toned down the rhetoric with the Confederacy. The unconditional surrender of the Confederacy was definitely zero sum. One wins. One loses.

The snowballing response made her the de facto coordinator of Coffee Party USA, with goals far loftier than its oopsy-daisy origin: promote civility and inclusiveness in political discourse, engage the government not as an enemy but as the collective will of the people, push leaders to enact the progressive change for which 52.9 percent of the country voted in 2008.

Oopsy-daisy my butt and that 52.9% is evaporating as quickly as they find out who Obama is and that progressive is just another way to spell socialist.

Republic, constitution and law. Form, process and the way things must be done. Fairly damned simple for most people.

Obama Akaka Trying To Create A Hawaiian Super State Within A State Is Wrong And UnAmerican

When will this madness stop? A separate super state that is not answerable to a central or state government. Maybe we should create a special super state for blacks? For gays? How about one third of the country to Latino/Mexican/Hispanics? Well, we created reservations for Indians and look how well that worked out.

The Akaka bill would create a race-based state in Hawaii.
President Obama speaks proudly of his childhood in Hawaii, so we wonder what the state's voters think of his support for a bill that would redistribute its wealth based on race. That's what would happen under the Native Hawaiian Government Reorganization Act, which Congress is trying to sneak through in its final days this year.

Sponsored by Senator Daniel Akaka, the bill would transfer a percentage of public-owned lands to a native Hawaiian government within the state of Hawaii. The legislation would collect some 400,000 ethnic Hawaiians scattered across the country into a newly affiliated tribe, eventually endowed with the powers of a sovereign state, including freedom from state taxes and regulations and separate police power.

Proponents say the plan would duplicate the legal scenario set up for Native Americans, but the Akaka bill carves out new territory.

Besides, this is just a first step toward Hawaii breaking completely from the United States to become a separate nation and Senator Akaka and President Obama know this.

Race based politics has always been stupid, but this is dangerous. The melting pot that is America is our strength, but there have been rules for the melting pot achieving the American dream such as assimilation, hard work, learn our language and loyalty to the country. Just as with the Indian, this bill will foster no assimilation, no loyalty, no melting pot and never ending taxpayer hand outs which kill initiative. It will also weaken our country because the bill would achieve the opposite. It will create disloyalty.

There has been, I believe, an ongoing effort to split the United States of America. There has been, obviously, the "Indian Nation" which has been and will continue to be a failed effort on the part of the federal government to maintain reservations for the preservation of Indian culture instead of assimilation. Reservations set a precedent, which created lands within the United States as not part of the United States, and there are those attempting to link to that precedent such as Aztlan, Raza, and MEChA. No, not to set up reservations for Mexicanos, but to use the reservation precedent as a legal basis of the admitted wrongdoing by the United States to break lands away from the United States.

A six year board member of La Raza, a Mexican group that is actively pursuing the re-conquest of Southwestern United States, is a Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States of America, Sonia Sotomayor. La Raza is nothing more than a hate group that was counseled by Yasser Arafat and Sotomayor helped direct and support that hate against the sovereignty of the United States. During her confirmation hearings Sotomayor answered no questions about her involvement because none were asked. It was considered impolite to question a wise Latino woman.

Miguel Perez, a La Raza spokesman at Cal State-Northridge, has been quoted as saying: “The ultimate ideology is the liberation of Aztlan. Communism would be closest [to it]. Once Aztlan is established, ethnic cleansing would commence: Non-Chicanos would have to be expelled — opposition groups would be quashed because you have to keep power.”

There is a movement within the United States made up of people and groups that have little or no loyalty to their country which includes blacks, whites, Indians, Mexicans, Hawaiians, arabs and others that would welcome the breaking up of the country. They have different agendas, but the same goal. They also have no fear of their actions because Americans have been bludgeoned into not asking for fear of charges of racism. Now these people and groups appear to have government on their side in reaching their goal.

Then there are others that will go along because, even though they are not actively working toward that goal, they believe it will profit them. Other groups that could ally with them are those who don't care, are afraid or just plain believe the propaganda against America even though they are not part of any group. Rev Wright's chickens are coming home to roost throughout the land because no one has stood up and called BS on him and his followers such as Obama.

Each group has an agenda and the stronger groups will exploit those other groups to their ends through ever changing alliances that will strengthen their numbers and their resolve toward the goal of stripping away large areas of the United States to form new counties constantly weakening us which is what they want and so do our international enemies, especially those once super powers. That will allow our wealth to become easier pickings and, more important, dim the beacon of hope for a world weary of despots, dictators and tyrants.

Hawaii is significant today as it was December 7, 1941 as it will be the modern indicator of a new war on the sovereignty of the United States of America and a U. S. Senator is leading the attack with the full support of an American president, both of which seem to have an agenda other than to protect and serve the nation.

This bill must be stopped.

What The Health Care Bill Has Become

Living in Manhattan, I would walk to and fro to work in the dark, very late or very early, and would come across huge swaths of posters attached to any available surface.

Sometimes they were ads for products such as Lancôme, sometimes for clothes, sometimes for bands or clubs such as Blondie, the Ramones or CBGB's and Max's Kansas City and some political or appealing for support for some issue.

They became even more art when graffiti was added though some thought them an eyesore.

The mindset behind the process and application is back with Planned Parenthood posting cityscape applications on web sites. The effort is telling because CBGB's posters sold revolution and the de jour band was just the conduit, fashion sold sex through clothes and graffiti bought turf through urban art. All messages within messages.

Health reform has become abortion retention because of endangered specie members such as Stupak. Planned Parenthood is using abortion to support government health care and a vehicle to codify abortion as a fait accompli though government health care. Even without the graffiti these visual vehicles sell and retain as the physical swathes come upon in the dark and do have a cerebral impact in a historical as well as current sense.

It is telling.

Red China Questions Obama's Big Government Solutions!!!

To fund the big government takeover of further chunks of our private lives the government needs to borrow trillions of dollars. As befitting the socialization of America, the government goes hat in hand to communist China to beg for loans. That gives communist China sway over our form of life. I guess Obama's betrayal of free China, Taiwan, wasn't enough give and give for China, so now China is doubting the veracity of Oba Mao.

Communist China doubts the economic viability of Obama's plans and the general truthfulness of the administration? This admission should be a wake up call to the voters in this country. Every person should sit back and take a long hard think over the fact that economic conservatives have rung the warning bell over government spending for decades and now, ultra liberal communists are ringing the bell as well. That is a stunner that should make every voter run from this administration and the liberals controlling the Democrat Party.

My Dad always said the socialists were just dreamers without the discipline of the communists and the creativity of the capitalists.
