The Constitutionally Challenged 9th Circuit Misses It Again. This Time On Illegal Immigration.
The 9th has a history of rewriting and the rereading the constitution to eek out a ruling that they like, especially with immigration. They're at it again. Now that they are aligned with Eric Holder and that isn't pretty.

Clinton Judge Allows Illegals To Roam More Freely
The recap which the Clinton appointed judge may have missed is that there is a 10th amendment, Arizona is being invaded by illegal aliens, crime in Arizona is soaring due to drug cartels and other criminals and the federal government isn't doing its job of protecting our borders in general and specifically Arizona's border with Mexico. Ah, but then she would have agreed that the definition of "is" isn't settled.

The overall law will still take effect Thursday, but without the provisions that angered opponents — including sections that required officers to check a person's immigration status while enforcing other laws.
The judge also put on hold parts of the law that required immigrants to carry their papers at all times, and made it illegal for undocumented workers to solicit employment in public places.
Undocumented workers, actually illegal aliens breaking the law by being here and seeking employment illegally to the detriment of unemployed Americans, are now allowed to seek employment for which they will be protected by the courts. Americans losing their homes will have to pay for a lawyer.
Time for the courts and the federal government to shut up and do their jobs. To say they have in this instance hardly makes it so. They haven't.

Why Can't Arizona Sue The Federal Government?
Arizona should. The federal government is not doing their job as outlined in the contract known as the Constitution. The federal government is incompetent. It is woefully and willfully not doing their job and now want to sue Arizona because Arizona passed a law that would do that which the federal government should do.
If I were Arizona I'd sue the federal government for breach of contract as well as the cost of the defense of the Arizona law passed that states that which the federal law has already stated.
Quit the crap and protect the border. Obama, you can get votes some other way. They're getting thinner, but there are still a lot of unmined graveyards in the Chicago area. Calumet alone should give the advantage in votes. If not, there are all those empty lots in Detroit that they plan to garden. Think counting crows.

Democrats Applaud Harsh Treatment Of Illegal Immigrants
As El Presidente Calderon spoke glowingly of Mexico and the harsh racist law passed in Arizona Democrats jumped to their feet to applaud him. Yeah, like Mexican Jumping Beans.

Later on in the speech, Calderon said Mexico was on its way toward "a goal any nation would be proud of: universal health coverage by 2012."
Again, Democrats rose to their feet to applaud Calderon, while Republicans -- still bruised over the yearlong health care overhaul fight in Washington -- stayed put.
In another odd moment, rows of Democrats rose to applaud Calderon when he delivered a brief portion toward the end of his speech in Spanish. First in Spanish, then in English, Calderon voiced his respect for "migrants" who have left their families to work in the United States and pledged to work for their "rights."
Republicans remained seated while Democrats rose for extended applause.

And Mexico has a law that is no different from Arizona's that empowers local police to check the immigration documents of people suspected of not being in the country legally.
"There (in the United States), they'll deport you," Hector Vázquez, an illegal immigrant from Honduras, said as he rested in a makeshift camp with other migrants under a highway bridge in Tultitlán. "In Mexico they'll probably let you go, but they'll beat you up and steal everything you've got first."

We Apologize To China, Will China Boycott Arizona?
Continuing his Rodney King style of foreign policy, the administration once again said to a foreign country, "Can't we all just get along" by announcing we're racists too.

He said U.S. officials did not whitewash the American record and in fact raised on its own a new immigration law in Arizona that requires police to ask about a person's immigration status if there is suspicion the person is in the country illegally.
Enforcing the law in Arizona, it seems, is the same as China murdering million, persecuting 100s of millions and indicting people for wanting to be free. At least it seems so in Foggy Bottom and on Pennsylvania Avenue. Not so much her in America, at least the real America.

Colombian-born Grammy winner Shakira met with police and officials in Phoenix. She said the law infringes on human and civil rights, and goes "against all human dignity."
Tucson native Linda Rondstadt said at a news conference that "Mexican-Americans are not going to take this lying down."
First, why are police officials in Phoenix taking the time to meet with a master crime fighter like Shakira? To gain her expertise? Maybe officials should look to the dignity of their citizens that need their help.
Now we find that Mexican Americans aren't going to be lying down any time soon from a different drum.

As California sinks lower into self delusion hoping that America soon will bail them out, Silicon Valley has met a new and fearsome enemy, the Happy Meal.
Enemy number one; toys in meals for children.
As California drags the nation down and refuses to address the foolish mess they have made of themselves, they continue to ignore what has put them in their position. Themselves.
Codifying their lack of trust of local parenting skills and punishing children appears to not be enough to assuage their moral indignation, Californians now need to put their lesser brethren in Arizona in place. Being superior is such wearisome work.

This is just one reason California has become a joke.

Vacation In Arizona (Legally) Just To Hack Off Liberals
No matter how many times I see the Grand Canyon I am still in awe. I'm going back. Not down the face walls nor the Cathedral Stairs. Maybe just the bar at that fancy hotel El Tovar.
Maybe I'll go see the first really big telescope I got to look through, when it was still at Perkins Observatory in Delaware, Ohio, at Lowell Observatory. They have a pet named Pluto.
A favorite church of mine is Mission San Xavier del Bac, an architectural wonder built and decorated by native Indians for the founding missionaries. At the opposite end of that spectrum is Taliesin West built by Frank Loyld Wright who scammed non-paid students and admirers into doing his labor. Where Taliesin West has bad bones, San Xavier del Bac has the bones of saints.
The art galleries in Scottsdale are absolutely incredible. They broke my bank. Another good site is Yuma Crossing where they have a trading post, archealogical digs and, oh my, the old Arizona Territorial Prison.

Maybe they can reopen it.
You like castles? This one is a got to see, Montezuma Castle. Condos? White House, not the one in DC, has some seriously old condos, yeah, with a view. In fact, a really incredible view. Like ball court sports? One word, Snaketown.
Last stop would be the Sierra Bonita Ranch. Any ranch owned by a Hooker can't be all bad.
Arizona is fun. From the cold areas of the Grand Canyon and Flastaff all the way down to the furnace called southern Arizona.
With ObamaCare coming to a soon empty medical facility near you,you might be thinking about great dental care. It's right across the border in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. Be sure to have your ID and necessary papers on you (and ready to present to authorities at any time) during your stay. Mexicans are funny about the legality of its visitors and immigrants.
In Mexico, illegal is illegal and if you're illegal, you're going to jail until they can transport your butt back across the border. From my experience, the jail time is necessary so one can arrange for a large sum of money to be wired to Mexican authorities to cover fines, incidentals and their hurt national pride that anyone would be in their country illegally. They're so hurt by that prospect that the army, regional authorities, immigration control and all police work in concert to enforce mexico's strict immigration laws.
