Obama Wanted To Apologize To Japan For Winning The War They Started

66 years ago after some of the bloodiest fighting ever United States of America forces were contemplating the invasion of Japan. 4 years earlier Japan started the war we were fighting with a sneak attack on our forces at Pearl Harbor. The best estimates by military and intelligence agencies put the loss of life in such an invasion of Japan as high as a million plus lives. Instead the US dropped atomic bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima killing approximately 240,000 people which was approximately one fourth the projected death toll of an invasion. The two bombs also had the psychological effect of defeating the Japanese after the second bomb was dropped.

Obama wanted to apologize for Democrat President Harry S. Truman not only winning the war against the US, but also for lessening the death toll. These apologies were to be part of Obama's worldwide apology tour.

One stop on his tour was Prague in August 2009. There he spoke of “America’s commitment to seek the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons,” ignoring that before 1945 we lived in such a world and it was neither peaceful nor secure.
Another stop on the tour was in Japan, where Obama in November 2009 bowed to the emperor, something no American president had ever done. It could have been worse if plans to visit Nagasaki and Hiroshima to apologize for winning the war with the atom bombs had come to pass.
A heretofore secret cable dated Sept. 3, 2009, was recently released by WikiLeaks. Sent to Secretary of State Clinton, it reported Japan’s Vice Foreign Minister Mitoji Yabunaka telling U.S. Ambassador John Roos that “the idea of President Obama visiting Hiroshima to apologize for the atomic bombing during World War II is a ‘nonstarter.’”
The Japanese feared the apology would be exploited by anti-nuclear groups and those opposed to the defensive alliance between Japan and the U.S.

The rank amateurism of the Obama administration is personified in this story. First, the US has nothing to apologize for. We didn't start the war nor did we force the Japanese to ally with the Nazis of Germany in a war against the United States. Second, the Obama administration so misread the Japanese as they gleefully pursued an agenda of putting America in its place in a way that no foreign power would or could. Third, the Obama administration completely misunderstood the American people, especially the millions who had relatives who had family members that fought and died in the attack on the United States. Lose. Lose. Lose.


The Japanese are well aware of who started WWII. They may not want to discuss it, but they are aware. The Japanese are also a proud and self sufficient people who do not want our apologies. As with the more recent Tsunami the Japanese didn't want the sympathy as they could and did lift themselves up. The Japanese find such a gesture that Obama and his minions thought so brilliant in its "kindness" embarrassing and a sign of weakness. So do most Americans. Not Obama. Apologizing to Japan for the atomic bombs ending a war Japan started and lost would, for Obama, show America's contriteness for winning.

If America wants to show contriteness it should apologize to the world by defeating the embarrassment of having elected Obama in the first place.

It was a different time and different circumstances in which Reagan altered our tax structure. Most children would know that. Also, most children wouldn't be so ignorant of economics that they'd liken Obama to Reagan. One was a leader while the other isn't. One was comfortable in the deep end while the other is in over his head in a baby pool. One knew economics and the economy while the other hasn't a clue which is understandable because he has never had a real job, never made a payroll and is merely a perpetual candidate never an incumbent.

Reagan was a true conservative who was fighting the usual tax and spend liberals who then controlled congress. Those tax and spenders were Democrats and Republicans (in name only). Today's cut and past crowd either doesn't care to read history or they, more likely, can't understand it. That's why they cut and paste. It reminds them of their coloring books that made them feel like artists as youngsters. I wish they'd grow up.

Madam Pelosi likes to be coy in that special feminine way to support her flavor-of-the-day feminism. One can see the small smirk and genteel batting of her eyes as she works to make women the same as men.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is accusing Republican Sen. Scott Brown of being insensitive toward women for a comment he made last week about his Democratic rival in the Massachusetts Senate race, Elizabeth Warren.

"The response," Pelosi said, "really, I thought, spoke volumes about how clueless Sen. Brown is. It really spoke volumes about disrespect for women that, really, he might not even realize. I bet you he'd like to take it back. ... But women know. They hear a comment like that, it tells a lot about somebody."

Pelosi, in an interview aired Sunday on ABC's "This Week," was referring to an exchange that began at a Democratic debate last week where Warren was asked how she paid for college. Brown once posed nude for Cosmopolitan, but Warren said: "I kept my clothes on."

Asked on a Boston radio interview to respond to Warren, Brown said: "Thank God."

If Pelosi and Warren don't want innuendo and snark directed at women, especially the type they feel diminishes women, then they shouldn't direct the same at men. That's the way the big boys work.

Their response to Brown, really, I think, speaks volumes about how clueless they are is. It really speaks volumes about disrespect for men and women that, really, they might not even realize. I bet you they'd like to take it back. ... But people know. They hear a comment like that, it tells a lot about somebody.

Outside of the Rosenbergs America usually puts traitors in posh prisons as punishment for getting other Americans killed. Doesn't deter many new traitors. Now that the Obama administration has done something good they have to muck it up a return to their normal: stupity.

The left is still running around in circles blaming George Bush for (enter subject here) and every time the sharpies on the left read, cut and paste polls, rants and other people's words on (enter subject here) moderate Americans move further right. When people hit themselves in the forehead with 2 X 4s repeatedly and then complain to the doctor that their head hurts the doctor generally tells them to stop hitting their forehead with 2 X 4s. Another thing that occurs is that other people start shunning them because they're unbalanced and possibly dangerous. This is a pretty good description on today's left in America.


From 2008 to 2010, North Dakota was the only state that did not suffer a decline in either its median family income or total employment. Over that period, the median income declined in every other state, while the number of people at work fell everywhere else except in Alaska and Texas. But, even amid this widespread distress, the sharpest losses were concentrated in the Sun Belt and the Rust Belt states—many of them among the swing states likely to decide the 2012 presidential election.

The unions are already pouring millions of dollars into Ohio and sending in foot soldiers by the thousands for this November elections. They will stay until the 2012 election. Other leftist groups are doing the same as well as universities and colleges. In short, if a group depends on tax dollars, government support and have a history of holding taxpayers hostage then they are pouring money into states they need to win in the hope they can at least save Obama.

If Obama keeps doing what he is doing now and the Democrats continue to insist on more taxes than they have already passed this could be the end of progressive politics for a generation. Oh, and Obama, Michelle and the kids will have to oversee the White House staff pack their belongings for shipment back to Chicago.

Obama Spreads Lie About Mean Republican Booing Gay Soldier

Those Republicans sure are mean, right? Obama is beside himself that all of the Republican candidates on the stage for the debate didn't stop all those mean Republicans because he has sooooo much respect for our soldiers.

We don't believe in standing silent when that happens. We don't believe in them being silent since. You want to be Commander-in-Chief? You can start by standing up for the men and women who wear the uniform of the United States, even when it's not politically convenient.

Scads of mean Republicans rabidly and loudly booing a soldier for asking his question via satellite, right? Er, no and Obama knows it. The media knows it as well as their bobbing talking head know it.

I was at the debate, in the audience on the right hand side about halfway back (here's my tweet of the video screen that was right in front of us). The person who booed was just a few rows in front of us. The booing got an immediate and angry reaction from nearly everyone sitting around him, who hissed and shushed at him. Lots of loud gasps, "Shhhh!" "No!" "Shut up, you idiot!" etc.

I wonder if Obama sat silently as he listened to his personal and beloved Pastor Jeremiah is a Bullfrog, Wright?

The murder-for-hire scheme the Obama administration has employed in Fast And Furious, the ATF/WH gun running scheme, is one of the most calculated political power ploy ever used in America. Murder for votes.


The gains Obama & Co. seem to be seeking come in three flavors. Ranked in order of time-criticality from their POV, they are most likely:

1. Short-term: Increased illegal immigration from Mexico as people attempt to flee the increasing violence (allowing them to push the DREAM Act through, and “stacking the deck” in the next election via ACORN and SEIU);
2. Medium-term: Propaganda for tighter gun laws (possibly enacted by Executive Order, bypassing the Congress);
3. Long-term: Legalization of “recreational drugs,” helped by a “drug friendly” Mexican government, influenced by if not overtly controlled by the drug cartels.

I strongly suspect that (3) is the ultimate objective, with (1) and (2) being seen (at least by Obama & Co.) as “stepping-stones” to attaining it.

Some believe that the Obama administration cannot sink any lower. I do and I think we are only seeing the tip of the degradation that this administration is visiting on our nation and people. The ATF is covering up the murder of their own agents while this administration is allowing illegal aliens to not only live here illegally, but to bribe them into the Democrat fold as voters and Obama's Holder uses the Department of Justice to cover for all of them. Morally, ethically and legally this is a common criminal organization.

I say we use the mechanics of our Republic, if possible, and call for special elections this coming November for all federal offices up to and including the office of President. That is an idea that could get some serious lift in the trial balloon methodology of current politics.

Ford Pulls 'Bailout' Ad Because Obama & Unions Felt Threatened

Supposedly Ford was bullied in pulling their "bailout" ad by the Obama administration. Sounds logical because this administration feels threatened by truth. Any truth.



I'm sure that our very good friends in the union also pressured Ford. All in the name of fairness to thugs, bullies and extortionists.

This ad cuts to the heart of why I am driving a Ford instead of a Chevy or my beloved Jeeps. I learned to drive in a Jeep working on a farm. I still have my old Jeep with 200K+ on the odometer and I'll keep it because it is a good vehicle that I love, but it is my last Jeep. My Ford Explorer seems luxurious in comparison with its leather seats, electric windows and seats and fancy sound system. Ford is playing by rules I believe in. Sink or swim. And no government money. No corporate control by unions.

Ford should have kept the ad on TV. In fact they should create a series of ads on American entrepreneurship, individualism and other bedrock issues of American  exceptionalism. That would sell some serious number of vehicles.
