Zack Space's Seat Center Of Attention At Debate

Zack spoke his mind for the debate. Not at the debate, but for the debate. And his constituents.

He couldn't be bothered to attend. Constituents Little people don't command his attention.

There is no information where Zack was on Saturday night. I trust he got home on time.

Murkowski Running As An Independent????????

What a loser. What a candidate so out of touch with what is going on in America. What a woman so desperate to cling to the little power she may have.

I was actually planning to go work for O'Donnell. I think I will go work to organize grassroots support against Murkowski because she is exactly what is wrong with the Republican establishment.

Murkowski is a whining little entitlement loser.

I will work, since she has announced a NRSC loser position, to defeat her. Not just defeat her, embarrass her, by electing Miller.

Murkowski and the establishment in Washington, DC needs to be put down. What the Hell is that group in DC looking for? A handout from daddy?

UPDATE:
Hot Air has some thoughts as well.
R.S. McCain also has some thoughts on "Lisa the Loser".

Zack "Skip a Space" Is Losing Playmates

While some unions will support Zack Space (imagine the price), others are still sore over Space not voting for the union boondoggle known as Health Care Reform. Cynics might be inclined to see Space's 'no' vote on HCR as political posturing by a politician who reads tea leaves more than constituent mail.

Fear of GOP takeover forces unions to back Dems critical of health

Meanwhile, Space missed another 'Meet the Candidates' night in his district.

Ohio Dems Avg Day: TVs For POs And Judges For Sale

Well, the Ohio Democrat Machine is running a tad bad today. What with a former Democratic chairman, union officials, judges, a county commissioner, school board members, an ex-mayor, county employees, contractors, an auditor and his son all being charged with a plethora of charges such as bribery and taking gifts such as a talkative "massage" giver.

“I just said, she gives a massage. Is that how we're going to start her out?” Dimora tells a buddy in a conversation secretly taped by investigators.

I'm thinking by "start her out" he means getting her certified to be a union plumbing assistant.

I knew things are bad in the land of the Cuyahoga, but trading television sets for contracts? I'm trusting they were really big flat screens that didn't "fall" off a Teamster truck.

Investigators say the younger Russo conspired to trade television sets for consulting contracts.

The courts will take care of all this, right? Uh, maybe not.

According to the indictment, Dimora bribed McCafferty and Terry to influence litigation (cases) in their respective courtrooms.

The unions should really do something about judge's pay so judges don't have to moonlight in other jobs such as being bribees.

Ohio Democrats never tire in their work to improve the lives of Democrats Ohio's workers. That's why Team Strickland never sleeps.

Christine O'Donnell Asks The NRSC, "Do You Love Me?"

They told her she couldn't dance. I hope Cornyn and the boys have boned up on their Mashed Potato and the Twist.

Liberal Progressive Bloomberg Wants To Ban Smoking In All Of NYC

NYC to try banning smoking in parks and beaches

Bloomberg (Smug Party-Mayor NYC) is on a roll. Salt, fat, smoke and whatever else his smugness wants to protect us from, he justs limits or bans. He ought to cut to the chase and pick Soros as a running mate and roll Obama and Bite Me who obviously aren't progressive enough for Mayor Short.

Justice Dept Priorities: Black Panthers Purr, Deer Hunters A Burr To Justice In America

"Book'em Danno!"

OMG! Holder must have Jack Lord directing the Swat Teams in this take down of a massive criminal conspiracy. With Justice's Yahweh Five-O on the case, these rubes never had a chance.

Feds target 60 hunters in Kansas hunting probe

If convicted and given maximum sentences, they could face lengthy prison terms. Jim Cross, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Kansas, said in an e-mail that it was the biggest case of its kind prosecuted in the state.

This is huge. PETA will weep. The deer will vanish!

“The state of Kansas has paid out over $100,000 to independent contractors to thin the Kansas deer herd for management purposes,” Kerns said in an e-mail. “And now our tax money is being spent making federal cases out of alleged rednecks who supposedly harvest an extra deer.”

Bring in the FBI because they took dead deer across state lines.

The Butlers are charged with conspiring to violate the Lacey Act, a federal law that prohibits the interstate transport of any wildlife taken in violation of state regulations. The indictment alleges they violated the act by purchasing and selling white-tailed deer and mule deer.

It is so fortunate for the health of this nation that there were no black-tailed and donkey deer because that would show a racist fear of liberal policies which may have resulted in prosecutions under not just the Lacey Act, but sweeping indictments under the Mann Act. Holder and his J-Men never sleep as they lock up the bad guys and savagely beat thuggery back. Man, I wish I coulda been a Junior J-Man just to take on this conspiracy of crooks who thought they could break the civil law. HA!

Personally, I now know why I slept so soundly last night. As I drifted off to slumber, images of the forces of right slaughtering the evils of might allowed me a quick moment of self righteous smugness making my dreams of Black Panthers helping little old ladies vote so much sweeter.

The next Bambi that eats my garden is going to get poached.

Time For A Break - Time For The Young Rascals

Okay, I've been traveling all over doing what I love to do which is politics. I know, I know, I leave all of you without my wit and wisdom, but a guy gotta do what a guy gotta do, but time slows (or speeds) when deadlines are set and hotel rooms all look alike after a while.

Time for the music I had burst into my head somewhere just east of nowhere, a little south of I'm Lost Again and dap smack in the middle of no radio signal land.

Not The Rascals, not Rascal Flats, but the original blue-eyed soulsters THE YOUNG RASCALS!

Three Eyetalians and a WASP from Jersey, but no bass player. When I first started drumming I used to try to play and look like Dino Danelli, but I couldn't hold the sticks like him, I had kinky hair and I was fat. Oh well, I got better, lost a ton of weight and Jimi Hendrix occurred. Viola, I had a better chance at cool. That most of our audiences were stoned increased my odds dramatically. At least until they crashed.

Nana Arugula To Squash Restaurant Rights

Having worked in numerous restaurants I know that having a full dining room night after night is no sign that restaurateurs know what people need. It is a sign of what they want. Or so they think.

Next, Michelle Obama's health reform plan for the nation's restaurant menus and families dining out

Okay, let's start a short list:

Heat and air conditioning is bad for us, especially the way we like to use them.
They cars and trucks we like are just no good for us.
We should know that we would like to drive to California rather than fly. Walking would be even better for us.
Our houses are bad for us and Mother Gaia.
Seat belts aren't just for people. They're for dummies like you which is why you're getting a ticket dummy.
If you don't know what a “Body Mass Index” is, then you'll be paying us fatty
Kids on bikes without helmets means fork over you fine. Your kids will thank us.
Sure it's your house, but light up and bingo, you guessed it, pay up.
Like a drink? Oh wait, we tried that.
You want to do what on your property? I don't think so. Not until government approves it. Yep, you have to pay for that approval.
As parents we should know that government knows what our children need to be taught. So, let us all shut up.
Salt? Fries? Burgers? Oh, shut up. Because government said so.

Maybe Michelle should start at home. With arugula.

Maybe her husband should start here in America by realizing we are a nation of rights, not a nation of subjects tearfully thanking the government for nursing us. If he wants to protect us he might start at the borders and in terrorist territories around the world and leave us alone to build a better America one idea at a time.

Obama Keeps Just Missing Zack Space

"Congressman Space, President Obama wants to talk to you. Hello? Anybody there?"

It's one thing to duck your constituents on a daily basis, but how does he keep ducking Obama, his president and party leader. You'd think that Zack is embarrassed by Obama.

Nowhere to be seen was another Democrat from Ohio, Rep. Zack Space, who was dealing with a "personal family matter," according to his campaign. Not that it was likely to matter - Space skipped an appearance with Obama in nearby Columbus last month, choosing instead to drive around his district, campaigning on his own.

Driving around his district and campaigning on his own. Zack? Huh? Zack knows where Ohio is? I'm thinking Zack was driving around listening to Cheryl Crow at top volume allowing his self allotted one a day square to gently touch his cheek for every high note. You know, to wipe away the tear.

September 10

1813 – The United States defeats the British Fleet at the Battle of Lake Erie, sometimes called the Battle of Put-in-Bay, during the War of 1812.

Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry
Dear General:

We have met the enemy and they are ours. Two ships, two brigs, one schooner and one sloop.

Yours with great respect and esteem,
O.H. Perry

and

Brig Niagara, off the Western Sister,
Head of Lake Erie September 10, 4 P. M.

Sir:- It has pleased the Almighty to give to the arms of the United States a signal victory over their enemies on this lake. The British squadron, consisting of two ships, two brigs, one schooner and one sloop, have this moment surrendered to the force under my command after a sharp conflict.

I have the honor to be, Sir, very respectfully, your obedient servant,

O. H. Perry

I've lost a few battles at Put-In-Bay, but that is another discussion for another time.

Obama's Crippling Debt

Obama Added More to National Debt in First 19 Months Than All Presidents from Washington Through Reagan Combined, Says Gov’t Data

14 wars, the Great Depression, the Louisianna Purchase, the Alaska Purchase, the Marshall Plan and going to the moon are but a few things the first 40 presidents dealt with and their combined debt couldn't match the debt of Obama's ego.

A Bumper Sticker We All Need

In my email:

We were in slow-moving traffic the other day and the car in front of us had an Obama bumper sticker on it. It read:

"Pray for Obama. Psalm 109:8".

Allah Must Weep For His Word And His People

I don't condone burning any book, especially a holy book, but I am fed up with the perpetual whining of Islamofascists who know no holy books but ones of their own making. They may not know much about the Koran which they say they are quoting, but they know each and every chapter and verse of perceived wrongs and sadistic ways to punish such perceived wrongs that are listed in their holy books.

Allah must be weeping at what has been wrought in his name and what those who murder, maim and burn in his name are doing.

I'll make a bet with the frothing Ayatollah du jour and the current Imams at the top of this week's Murder Inc's demented chart. If all of the followers of your cults stop flying planes into buildings, stop using suicide bombers and generally just stop killing, people here in America will stop burning Korans. If you don't take the bet, you're cowards and if you don't like the bet, you're liars. You can bet on that. Plus, if you're in a betting mood, I wouldn't bet on 72 virgins and fruit juice, you'll just end up parched if you know what I mean. Mā šāʾ Allāh.

Righthaven Sues Angle For Las Vegas Review-Journal To Help Reid

No, I won't link to the reprobates at the Las Vegas Review-Journal nor Righthaven. One chases ambulances and the other reports it, but now it appears they have thrown their collective hats in the ring to help Hapless Harry Reid get re-elected.

Sharron Angle Faces Copyright Lawsuit

A company has sued Republican U.S. Senate candidate Sharron Angle, claiming she reprinted two Las Vegas Review-Journal articles on her campaign website without permission.

I am amazed at the tin ear decisions of the LVR-J and the bait and switch legal maneuvers of Righthaven to harass bloggers, but for them to get in the gutter with Harry Reid is more than a tad political.

If you lay down with rats you gonna get bit. In this case the trifecta of stupid, which is Reid, LVR-J and Righthaven, deserve each other in their backroom deals.

It's too bad LVR-J doesn't like links to their articles. If my two readers (but I boast) were to link to them it might just double their readership.

Russ & Barack Secret Meeting Place Finally Set For Milwaukee

A secret and anonymous source has said that Barack and Russ negotiated a secret meeting which would avoid any mention by the press. The same source stated that last minute instructions to the meeting would be placed in a box of tissues next to the teleprompter and that only the president should read them

Feingold to miss Obama Labor Day visit

Unfortunately, the president couldn't figure out which teleprompter would tell him what to do. At this point other secret sources say the meeting is in jeopardy.

An intrepid, though unnamed secret, source within the Feingold campaign supplied photographs showing the meeting place only after having been assured that the images would not publicly be shown until they were out of town due to "pressing personal problems." Follow up investigations found an empty apartment and disconnected telephones. Near midnight an unnamed witness in sunglasses at the unnamed source's former apartment stated that he had never seen anyone fitting the description of the anonymous source. He also stated that he had never heard of Renegade, Renaissance nor Rosebud and Radiance.

BLAME BUSH! Why Not?

When all of one's plans for the economy only makes it worse and you haven't a clue what to do, blame Bush. It's easy, it will make you feel better and all of your like minded friends will nod their heads and stroke their chins in a sage repose of wisdom.

Record number in government anti-poverty programs

Government anti-poverty programs that have grown to meet the needs of recession victims now serve a record one in six Americans and are continuing to expand.

Obama: "It Took Nearly A Decade To Dig The Hole That We're In"

President Obama criticizes the economic policies of former President Bush and the current "partisan minority" in Congress. Obama asks Republicans to drop the economic "blockade."

Obama says he ignored Beck rally... Drudge

“It’s not surprising that somebody like a Mr. Beck is able to stir up a certain portion of the country. That's been true throughout our history,” he said. But “what I’m focused on is making sure that the decisions we’re making now are going to be be not good for the nightly news, not good even necessarily for the next election, but are good for the next generation.”

I am sure that President Obama, being the highly educated professor that he says he is, has heard of the "bully pulpit." He might reach back in his memory and even remember that that bear shootin' SOB, Teddy Roosevelt, defined it clearly and understood its use completely.

The caveat to the bully pulpit is that one can speak to people's values or one can plant a seed of thought, but one can never speak to the baseness of man nor plant a seed in a barren field of ideas and expect growth.

Beck spoke to the moral character of our nation and planted the seed of returning to America's greatness and it works because people believe him and believe in that which he spoke. Obama has yet to learn that just sayin' it don't make it so. Tough for a professor to grasp, but with time he can get his head around such an idea or ideal, if you will.
