There's those other tens of billions. You know the billions that GM got that the federal government said was repaid by getting 60% of GM? And the government's best buddies, the unions, into management.
General Motors Still Owes You
GM is still Government Motors. They still owe us. We, the taxpayer, footed the bill. Bush was wrong to start this and Obama was and is wrong to have made the government an owner.
GM has not repaid the loans. Let alone ahead of schedule.
