Secessionists And Their Damn Fool Ideas

Secessionists meeting in Tennessee
"We believe that an independent South, or Hawaii, Alaska, or Vermont
would be better able to serve the interest of everybody, regardless of race or
ethnicity," said Michael Hill of Killen, Ala., president of the League of the
South.

I lost a lot of family on both sides the last time this was tried. My great-grandfather grew a long beard to hide his shattered chin and jaw, but he considered himself lucky because the only limb they didn't amputate during the civil war was the head.

I cherish my Southern heritage and have made sure my children have read accurate histories of the lead up to the War of Northern Aggression, the war and its aftermath. I despise the drunks and the fools that spout off about southern this and southern that. Booze, beliefs and buffoons do not mix well.

Weakening America at this time is a liberal's moron's dream.

I could see Vermont, in their smug self righteousness, actually believing they'd be better off, but The League of the South is just making money.
