Palin/Jindal Supporters Savagely Beaten In NO For Politics

UPDATE: Important information which contradicts the information cited below. There are reports that the two were not wearing Palin pins.

“Let’s get them, they have Palin pins on”

SEIU thugs beat and kick a black man when he's down. A MoveOn.org animal bit off part of a 65 year old man's finger. Unknown thug attacks an old woman.

GOP Official & Boyfriend Savagely Beaten For Wearing Palin Pins – Including Broken Leg, Jaw, Concussion… Media Silent
Two people at the Brennan’s event have now confirmed that the protest had largely broken up by the time it ended, but we also understand from someone who visited Allee Bautsch in the hospital Saturday morning that she and Brown were followed and attacked expressly because they had Palin pins on (she heard one of the attackers say “Let’s get them, they have Palin pins on” – so the attack WAS politically motivated as its victims understood it. It was not a mugging, it was not an argument gone wrong and it was not a bar fight.

The media and lefts, but I repeat myself, all got the memo that anyone opposing Obama or the Democrat Party's agenda are to be portrayed as racist and violent and that is what is being said and reported if these orchestrated incidents are mentioned at all.

No mention of the incidences means no blame attached to leftist groups, no reporting that the left is using tactics of fear and reprisals and no discussion if the Tea Party has valid points.

This wonderful progressive world has been around for awhile, but with one of their own in the White House, in the editor seat and heading up Congress, this world will only get progressively worse. But, hey, join the party and chant, "we're uniters, not dividers."

Jason loves to Twitter about Star Trek, going to COSTCO and hating on Republicans and Tea Party members. If school was in session at 9:04 AM on January 14 that would mean he was Twittering NSFW video on school time.

Does Obama Have an Inferiority Complex Or A Need To Self Consciously Belittle Himself As An Apologist Or Loser?

I believe he'd bow at Mao's and Stalin's craven caskets. And maybe wet kiss their waxen preserved murderous corpses. As opposed to the Marine Corp. Not all corpses are pronounced the same. Nor do they mean the same thing.

But his saccharin pussiness does connotate something.

Loser.

Welcome To ObamaCareEconomy: Your Life Will Suck

No taxes for 95% of Americans, according to Obama. Yeah, right. That's a lie, but there is a hidden tax lie. The loss of income

Income falls 3.2% during Obama's term

Obama's economic plan is costing you money today and everday. Food for the family, clothes for the kids, uniforms for the child that participates in sports? Add 3.2%. At the price of each pair of lunches, books, new local school taxes and fuel costs for buses, you're getting screwed by this administration. Piece by piece. Cost by cost.

Welcome to the world that Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, Waxman and the rest of the absolute liars in congress have brought you. They have to lie in their attempt to gain support for programs that they want you to think to be fair. It's not fair, but liberals want you to think it is a level playing field .Liberals lie to themselves and to you this way.

The average American will pay more and pay more for the basics to pay for those that won't pay because Democrats want their votes. With Obama, they are supplying that with which they believe quitters, losers and bums will continue to vote Democrat. Hopefully, to Democrats, for a majority.

The taxes will be higher and your income will be lower. A double tax.

Tired of it yet?

The Rage That Has No Name

Ah, anonymous rage is all the rage right now, at least on the left. When leftists write hate filled letters on news websites, it is okay. When leftists beat up those they disagree with at rallies, it is okay. When leftists push elderly people down because they don't like being told to be polite, it is okay. It's okay because the left is desperate in their attempt to portray conservatives, especially fiscal conservatives in the Tea Party movement as angry white, racist, elitist old people. It serves their purpose to do so whether the think it is true or not. Doesn't matter. It's just another way the Left trys to stifle debate.

So, now, in their attempt to control debate in the media, they are all wailing about those mendacious right wing anonymati writing comments about news or opinion pieces online. OMG, it is for thee, but not for me!

THE RAGE THAT HAS NO NAME

It's almost as if they Left has lost its patience with their lesser friends on the right. What a hoot.

Astroturfing Health Care Benefits For The Rubes In Ohio

Organizing for America, formerly Obama for America, is asking all good Democrats to flood newspapers with Letters to the Editor supporting health care reform.

Unreal… Obama’s Organizing for America Website Running Astroturfed ‘Letter to the Editor’ Campaign Complete With Instructional Video

They even admonish their cadre to: "Do not use these points verbatim." Unfortunately, people do.

A quick search of printed letters here in Ohio show mere cut-n-paste "original" letters. (click to enlarge)

WooHoo! TPM Says I'm Close To The Ohio GOP! AND A Racist!!

Wish I was.

In response to my response to his statement, "The whole south shifts to the Republican Party over one issue, they don’t like black people…so you have the racism thing,..", M.J. Rosenberg, a progressive, stated this about my post:

Check out this blog post from some blogger close to the Ohio GOP. In the blogger's effort to prove that the GOP is not racist, this Ohioan refers in passing to he "War of Northern Aggression." He also does not know that the solid south moved to the GOP not in 1980 because Dixie liked Reagan but in 1964 because Dixie hated the Civil Rights Act. This is classic. I wonder what percentage of the right would disagree with any of it.

Me, a classic! Wow, so many compliments and in just one smug little piece. Rosenberg shows a one sided understanding of southern politics with his self-righteous referencing of my use of "War of Northern Aggression", but his really deep understanding of southern politics is in his political timeline meme. Yep, the solid south was voting overwhelmingly for Republicans in 1964. Goldwater got 5 of 14 southern states in 1964; Republicans picked up approximately 8 House seats while Democrats held all southern Senate seats, but by 1966 Republicans had gained an actual southern Senate seat (Tennessee)!

To believe M.J., the South hates blacks so much that they went Republican just to spite Democrats for supporting Civil Rights. To M.J., Democrats overwhelmingly supported civil rights and Republicans were overwhelmingly against civil rights. Too anyone who reads history, that thinking is an outright lie manufactured to keep alive the liberal meme of Republican = Racist.

BTW M.J., I am not "close" with the Ohio GOP. I don't work for them, never have. I worked for the NRCC in the south in 1984. That work was the basis of my post, and the racism that I saw then came from the Democrats.

To paraphrase, This is classic. I wonder what percentage of the left would disagree with any of it.

Socialist Credit Cards To Smash Capitalism!! What's The APR?

Crash The Tea Party plans to infitrate Tea Party events to brand them as unAmerican with lies, foolish behavior and a mix of faux connections to racism and other things. Typical leftist stuff, lies are.

I thought their site a hoot with the image to the left taken from the bottom of their page:

Maybe I should ask what APR their mummy and daddy are paying.

Putin To Investigate Polish Plane Crash

In other news, murderers will now investigate their own crimes under the It Takes One To Know One clause of the Constitution as found by Obama's SCOTUS nominee.

Yes, the fox is in charge of the hen house. Wait, in Russia or America?

Socializing Student Loans Or The Dishonesty Of Congress

Health Care Reform was about health care reform, right? Suspend logic for the sake of the argument and believe for a moment that health care reform was actually about health care reform. Okay?

The larger part of health care reform was actually about socialized education through the government takeover of student loans from private institutions and loan agencies. Most of America does not know this and I believe a large part of Congress had no idea about the scope of this power grab by Obama Pelosi.

Enter common sense, but watch it exit stage left because Congress wants to be able to lie, double speak and dpe the voter. It is who they are. Republicans and Democrats and the growing number of socialists in Congress will fight common sense. They'll fight with stealth, meaness and violence if that common sense would involve honesty.

Truth In Federal Legislation:Time For A Constitutional Rule?
The Case for a Truth-in-Legislation Amendment

“Congress shall pass no bill, and no bill shall become law, whichembraces more than one subject, that subject being clearly expressed in the title.”

This idea, while not a panacea, is a good start. It's time has come. I'd like to see it enacted just to watch Congress stomp their feet and turn red in the face.

Truely Indicative Of The Episcopal Fall From Grace

Barbie gets ordained, and has the smells-and-bells wardrobe to match

With her careers as veterinarian, astronaut and U.S. president behind her, Barbie has at last found her true calling: as a second-career Episcopal priest.

The 11.5-inch-tall fictional graduate of Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley, Calif., has donned a cassock and surplice and is rector at St. Barbara’s-by-the-Sea in (where else?) Malibu, Calif.

She arrived at the church fully accessorized, as is Barbie’s custom. Her impeccably tailored ecclesiastical vestments include various colored chasubles (the sleeveless vestments worn at Mass) for every liturgical season, black clergy shirt with white collar, neat skirt and heels, a laptop with prepared sermon and a miniature, genuine Bible.

Apparently a devotee of the “smells and bells” of High Church tradition, the Rev. Barbie even has a tiny thurible, a metal vessel used for sending clouds of incense wafting toward heaven.
...

Many of the Rev. Barbie’s online admirers asked about her career aspirations.

“How long till she is Bishop Barbie?” asked one.

Barbie couldn't do worse than Rowan Williams.

'The whole south shifts to the Republican Party over one issue, they don’t like black people…'

M.J. Rosenberg, a progressive, was speaking about why Americans support Israel. His contention is that America supports Israel because Americans hate Muslims. For context and to point out how stupid and hateful Americans (ie, conservatives) are, Rosenberg dropped this little gem concerning the electorate during the 1980's:

"The whole south shifts to the Republican Party over one issue, they don’t like black people…so you have the racism thing,.."

That is a lie. An outright lie. A known lie. A stupid lie.

How do I know? I worked the southern region when it went for Reagan, Republicans and conservatives at the federal level. As a researcher for the NRCC I had studied the issues, plus the whole votes and quotes thing and worked with candidates throughout the south in 1984 and it was not racism that shifted the south to the Republican Party.

The South had remained a solid Democrat stronghold following not just the War of Northern Aggression and their defeat, but especially following the humiliation of "Reconstruction" which purposely heaped scorn and shame on southerners at all levels. Their pride besmirched, the South reacted with a hatred of Republicans, Northerners and those they felt destroyed their lives. As Michelle Obama, they felt no pride in the country they were forced to be part of.

Enter Ronald Reagan and his "Let's Make America Great Again" message. In 1980 Reagan not only beat Jimmy Carter, he embarrassed Carter and those that thought like Carter. In what was supposed to be an election "too close to call" Reagan had a landslide. Carter was thought to be a quintessential southerner and his every action and manner had become an embarrassment to a large segment of the nation as well as in the south. This was when the South, as a voting bloc, started moving away from the Democrat Party.

By 1984, many waves of new thoughts were occurring which were personified by Reagan's "Morning in America" theme. President Ronald Reagan had tapped into the deep patriotism of the nation which deeply wanted a renewal of not just the American ideal, but also a renewal of faith in America by Americans. People had begun to believe again that America was an exception. That America was special.

The South still searching for a patriotism they could embrace started feeling the pull of Reagan's unabashed love for the United States of America. Ronal Reagan's America included the whole of the United States, not just a selected few nor did Reagan exclude people or regions of the country. This resonated with southerners who felt they had been ignored or ridiculed for generations and they did something they had not done in the past. They listened carefully to a Republican. What they heard, they liked which then allowed southerners to start listening to other Republicans running as state legislators, governors and federal offices such as Congress. They liked what they heard.

At the same time, the NRCC established a field staff broken out by regions of the country with regional strategies and tactics. The southern region, which I was a part of, was led by Jim Weber and he put in place a theory of campaigning that included southern voters in ways they had not been part of before. Republican candidates left their historically safe enclaves and actually spoke in democrat strongholds and asked for their votes. New campaign techniques traditionally not used in the south were employed and most importantly rank and file southerners were asked to become part of the process in political, financial and emotional terms. In short, they became engaged voters.

Did race play a part? Absolutely, because Democrats pushed back with messages of racism in an attempt to solidify their base which they felt included all southerners, especially confederate (battle) flag waving, truck driving whites. They had no idea that a storm of change was occurring in terms of political thought, economics, national identity and the long awaited resolution of southern historical identity.

The South went Republican. As Reagan before them, southerners began to say, "I didn't leave the Democratic Party, the party left me." Reagan spoke to the rising southern middle class with his message of fiscal conservatism, balancing the budget and cutting taxes. Many politicos say that white southerners rebelled against the Democrat embracement of the Civil Rights movement, when in fact it was Democrats that filibustered and voted against civil rights legislation which was supported by Republicans. To say that southerners rebelled against LBJ's cynical civil rights programs may be correct, but to say they rebelled against civil rights by supporting the party that passed civil rights is a tad shallow. LBJ's 1964 Civil Rights Act would have been defeated if not for Republicans such as Evertt Dirkson who broke the filibuster to get it passed. While Dirksen stated, “When it comes to the rights of others, I don’t play politics. It is the right thing to do.”, LBJ was privately saying, according to Ron Kessler's book "Inside the Whitehouse", "I'll have them niggers voting Democrat for two hundred years."

The south did not switch to Republican because of racism. It is still a useful lie for Democrats to say so, but it is still a lie.

Obama And The Smugness Of Self Righteousness

President of Smug Snitiness? Hey Sarah, "La maman d'Yo porte des bottes de combat."

Democrat's New Tactic On HCR: Lie

Rep. Wasserman Schultz’s announcement came as a surprise to those of us familiar with the bill, which added to Subtitle D of the Internal Revenue Code a new Chapter 48, whose first section (Section 5000A) is titled, “REQUIREMENT TO MAINTAIN MINIMUM ESSENTIAL COVERAGE” (see p. 126; all-caps in original). Subparagraph (b)(3) even provides for “PAYMENT OF PENALTY” if you don’t comply with the “REQUIREMENT.”

Pelosi: HCR Passed, Now We Get To See What's In The Fridge?

Is this woman serious?

I guess this graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame High School in Baltimore thinks that all of us are children who need to be talked down to with incrediably stupid analogies and statements.

Miss Pelosi decided to explain to the frightened class called America just how health care reform really works:

It’s like the back of the refrigerator. You see all these wires and the rest. All you need to know is, you open the door. The light goes on.

Yeah, the light goes on, but she forgot to mention whether the fridge will keep the food safe for consumption. Not that she would know, that's something for the little people to worry about. You know, people like her servants. That'd be us.

Madam Pelosi: Queen of Demean.

Of course, there were always those people that we'd describe as, "lights on, but nobody's home." Seems to fit here.

New Camera Thoughts - Diane Arbus

The boy in question was Colin Wood, the son of tennis player Sidney Wood, who was caught “in a moment of exasperation”, his hands claw-like, his face maniacal. Arbus captured this photograph by having the boy stand while moving around him, claiming she was trying to find the right angle. The boy became impatient and told her to “Take the picture already!” In other pictures on contact sheet, he is seen as a happy child.

I love photography. Whether I am good at it or not is irrelevant. A present from my wife, a new Nikon (I was always a Leica fan) has excited me and has caused me to examine those photographs I studied as a young(er) man.

They still hold the heartfelt attachment now that they did then. For the most part.

Arbus was a more honest Avedon.

Richard Avedon Collaborates With Charlie Chaplin

Charlie Chaplin, 1952. Saturday, September 13. Avedon received a call at home from Chaplin, who asked if he could have his picture taken right away. Naturally, Dick was thrilled and hurried off to the Madison Avenue studio for a private sitting with no assistants. The result was a stunning photo of Chaplin giving his farewell gesture to America — hours later he was safely onboard a ship bound for Britain, having escaped the clutches of the Immigration Service after being denounced by the F.B.I. as a communist sympathizer.

As an apprentice to HIRO I heard about this event many times from HIRO. He had worked for Richard Avedon and remained friends throughout the years even though Avedon had let him go, fired him. Avedon did so because he said there was nothing more he could teach HIRO.

The first time I walked through the door of HIRO's studio, just off Times Square, I came face to face with Avedon's portrait of Chaplin which was purposely placed in that small entrance space so that a viewer stood eye to eye with Chaplin.

I was never a fan of Chaplin or his work, but this portrait mesmerizes me, still.

UPDATE: email question answer. The print was very large and encased in clear plexiglas in a small stark white entry way. One light overhead. BTW, this was HIRO's older studio before he moved to Central Park West.

Tea Partiers Are KKK Without Robes And Hoods

This guy is too small to be in the deep end. "George Wallace's fan club"? Oh, really.

Steve Cohen (D-TN): Well, I’m not sure what’s being done. The Tea Party people are kind of, without robes and hoods, they have really shown a very hardcore angry side of America that is against any type of diversity. And we saw opposition to African Americans, hostility toward gays, hostility to anybody who wasn’t just, you know, a clone of George Wallace’s fan club. And I’m afraid they’ve taken over the Republican Party.

What will these losers not say?

APB: Where Is Zack Space?

!!All Points Bulletin!!

I swear, we take our eyes off that boy for 5 seconds and he just vanishes. At least Mary Jo got all arty at the gallery hop, but Lil' Zack is just plain missing during the Easter break. Mary Jo also got together with Sherrod Brown for what the Columbus Dispatch called a "victory lap" after the health care "reform" vote. Some victory, eh? Plus, that coulda mighta been a real hostile crowd there at gallery hop. Yeah, like there was a danger of raging conservatives cruising for art, looking for that perfect little piece for the nook just outside their guns and money vault at home.

Zack, it seems, did attend a meet and greet in Logan and spoke to a few people, but otherwise most voters haven't a clue where Zack is in the district. Is he even in the district?

So, where is Zack Space?
