Ben Nelson Caves On Health Care
How many threats were issued? Many are saying that Nelson got many concessions, but Nelson knows what this bill actually represents. Huge deficits, federal control of over 1/6 of our economy, higher costs for individuals, penalties for those that don't want health insurance, the demise of options and the eventual adding of taxpayer abortions and government control over individuals private lives.
I hoped against hope that Nelson would actually show some ethics, but I am not surprised. I hope when he votes on the eve of the celebration of the birth of Christ that he can be at peace with himself. I wouldn't be able to be.
