...Virtue, morality, and religion. This is the armor, my friend, and this alone that renders us invincible. These are the tactics we should study. If we lose these, we are conquered, fallen indeed... Patrick Henry (1736-1799) US Founding Father

Larry Walsh: Another Poker Playing Embarrassment For Obama
FBI raids Obama friend's office
The two men became tight friends during their tenure in the Illinois Senate and bonded over games of poker. According to a report in Time magazine, Mr. Walsh lost to Mr. Obama once with what he thought was a winning hand, and then slammed down his cards and said: "Doggone it, Barack, if you were more liberal in your card-playing and more conservative in your politics, you and I would get along much better."
Mr. Walsh denied any knowledge of any investigation.
"I don't have a clue what you are talking about," Mr. Walsh said in reports published Thursday in the Chicago Sun-Times.
Apparently, men searching his office didn't tip him off.

Biden Won? Biden Diminished.
I was in Cincinnati last evening where I watched the debate. The consensus, among the Republicans I was with, was that Palin crushed Biden. I think she did well, held her own and came out looking confident. That's where Biden lost.
After thirty years in the United States Senate Biden should have been able to handle a mere mayor of a hick town from a nowhere state with ease. His demeanor should have been enough to show why a moose hunting, gun toting, bible thumping conservative broad isn't qualified to be one heart beat away from the presidency.
He rarely spoke to the TV audience and grinned at her while she spoke like a guy that just found out something embarrassing in a crowded party. Either that or smirking hyena trying to bluff his way out of a fight he thinks he's going to lose. Maybe both.
Late last night and this morning local radio hosts were speaking to women and independents that stated Palin had won them over. On WLW 700, 58% of the respondents said that Palin had won while the local over-nights said that Biden had won.
Personally, I think Biden edged her by a bit in the debate. It is in this fact that Biden has diminished himself giving Palin and McCain more momentum.
Jabbering Joe brought a mouth to a cat fight where he tried to out joe-sixpack a governor from a fly-never state. He was out matched.
