Charlie Crist is showing his true colors now that he has dropped that bothersome Republican initial after his name.
Fla. governor calls special oil drilling session
Gov. Charlie Crist has called for a special session of the Legislature to permanently ban offshore oil drilling in Florida waters.
Crist on Thursday said the session is called for July 20 to 23.
Crist split with the Republican Party when it became apparent that Marco Rubio was going to shellac his hide. Now Crist is pulling stunts in an attempt to use fear for support as Rubio is once again edging past Crist in the polls.

MECHa, La Raza, the New Black Panther Party, Progressives and our other enemies whether foreign or domestic feel compelled to quell this idea, but all tyrants have felt the need to tear down the good to enable them to force their vision on people. Dr. Donald Berwick "is an outspoken supporter of the British National Health Service, the state-run Health Care that the British citizens have been enduring since 1948. The British system imposes rationing on its paying patients, an idea that Berwick praises."
Obama had to make this a recess appointment because otherwise his national health policy would be debated out in the open just before the midterm elections. That debate would doom an already deeply wounded slate of Democrats that supported ObamaCare while their constituents opposed it. This deception has become a hallmark of this administration and its Democrat led Congress.
