Winning Iraq, Losing Turkey, Pelosi's Traitors

Could anyone question the timing of the Armenian legislation against our important ally in the war in Iraq, Turkey, that Pelosi and her ilk are pushing right at this moment?

Turkey could paralyze critical supply lines to Iraq

The Bush administration is concerned that Turkey could block vital U.S. supply routes to Iraq.

Seventy percent of the fuel and air shipments to the U.S. military in Iraq are currently routed through Turkey.

Officials said the Defense Department and U.S. military believe Ankara could retaliate to a U.S. House resolution that blamed Turkey for the killing of 1.5 million Armenians in World War I. They said Ankara could block weapons and supplies to
the U.S. military in Iraq.

Even those supposedly affected by this legislation are opposed to it.
Patriarch Mesrob II underscores opposition to US Armenian bill

The spiritual leader of Armenians living in Turkey, Patriarch Mesrob
Mutafian, has asserted that he is against the Armenian bill accepted last week by the US House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Pelosi, et al are doing this purposely in an attempt to once again undermine a sitting president and his duties as the Commander in Chief regarding the war in Iraq.

Turkish General Issues Warning on Bill

ISTANBUL, Turkey (AP) - Turkey's top general warned that ties with the
U.S., already strained by attacks from rebels hiding in Iraq, will be
irreversibly damaged if Congress passes a resolution that labels the World War
I-era killings of Armenians a genocide.

Turkey, which is a major cargo hub for U.S. and allied military
forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, has recalled its ambassador to Washington for
consultations and warned that there might be a cut in the logistical support to
the U.S. over the issue.

"If this resolution passed in the committee passes the House as
well, our military ties with the U.S. will never be the same again," Gen. Yasar
Buyukanit told the daily Milliyet newspaper.

Not only will this action damage our effort in Iraq it will also affect our relationship with an important ally for years to come.

Enough is enough. It is time for Pelosi to go. She is a traitor.

Hillary Care Preview In England

English 'pull own teeth' as dental service decays

Falling numbers of state dentists in England has led to some people
taking extreme measures, including extracting their own teeth, according to a
new study released Monday.

Others have used superglue to stick crowns back on, rather than
stumping up for private treatment, said the study. One person spoke of carrying
out 14 separate extractions on himself with pliers.

Expecting big things from the first lady of sole, I have already put in my proposal to Hillary for an inexpensive procedure titled "Root Canal By Chainsaw". Very effective and at a price the whole family can afford.

Hobson's Choice Hurts Ohio

Dave Hobson to go bye-bye.

Ohio Rep. Hobson to Retire

Rep. David Hobson, a nine-term Republican from Ohio, announced plans to retire Sunday, the 12th member of his party to do so since the beginning of the year.

"I wanted to go out on top," said Hobson, who said his health is good. He would have faced token opposition at best had he sought a new term.

The 71-year-old Hobson became the third member of the Ohio delegation
to announce retirement plans. Rep. Ralph Regula, who has been in Congress since 1973, announced recently he will not run again. Rep. Deborah Pryce, who narrowly won re-election in 2006, had previously said her current term will be her last.

I think this is an example of Taft's brilliance continued, which many do not understand, such as Taft's constant overtaxing and over regulating the citizens of Ohio simply to give them a platform to show their displeasure. In this case Ohio Republicans are getting so many of their peers to retire so as to confuse the Democrats and make them spread their money too thinly to win in 2008.

See? Brilliant.
