OOPS! AGW's Settled Science Changes Again

Thursday, May 02, 2013

Oh, My. More Unsettled Science

This appears to be more prevalent in science than truth. How many other cases of pay to play money for nothing research? Maybe we should look at the studies on Al Gore's chakra again? You know, we'll call it energy research and get lots of government money.

Fraud In The Social Sciences

The more you manipulate your data (and there are lots of ways to massage your data so that it shows what you’d likeeven without knowing you’re doing it), the more likely you are to come up with a publishable result. Peer review acts as something of a check on this, of course. But your peers don’t know if, for example, you decided to report only the one time your experiment worked, instead of the seven times it didn’t.

Fraud. Plain and simple. And the state of science today.
