It is a wonder it took this long for Democrat s, liberals and progressives to get scared of the Tea Party movement. The Tea Party movement undercuts and puts lie to what they said America truly wanted, ie, a president like Obama and his ideas.
I have to chuckle when I hear elected officials like Chuckles Schumer say that HCR will help the Democrats win more seats next November. Boy, mix in Cap and Trade and the ever popular (and proven!) climate legislation based on the AGW theory and it should, according to Chuckles, give them whole damned Congress. Yeah, Chuckles is safe in his seat, but that's like being voted craziest by the insane asylum.
Disgruntled Democrats join the Tea Party
"We hear from folks, probably at every rally, who say, 'I was a Democrat,' " Levi Russell, communications director for the Tea Party express tour, said.
"Having more Democrats join the movement shows that it is more representative of the American people than the antics of the Obama, [House Speaker Nancy] Pelosi, Reid leadership," Russell said.
I have quite a few educators in my family who have lived by the NEA's rule, much the same as regular union rules, wait, anyway, they took the bribes to keep their mouths shut about what was really going on in education in America. That most of them now state a fondness for the Tea Party movement isn't making them Republicans, but it shows a rift that is undeniable, especially a rift amongst those belonging to the teacher's union, liberal shock troops for decades.
...Virtue, morality, and religion. This is the armor, my friend, and this alone that renders us invincible. These are the tactics we should study. If we lose these, we are conquered, fallen indeed... Patrick Henry (1736-1799) US Founding Father
