Obama: Look At Me, I Am Black!

But how dare that racist McCain point out that I'm black even though he didn't! BTW, did you know that I'm really John F'ing "Did I tell you I was also black in Vietnam" Kerry Obama?

Stumping in an economically challenged battleground state, Obama argued Wednesday that President Bush and McCain will resort to scare tactics to maintain their hold on the White House because they have little else to offer voters.

"Nobody thinks that Bush and McCain have a real answer to the challenges we face. So what they're going to try to do is make you scared of me," Obama said. "You know, he's not patriotic enough, he's got a funny name, you know, he doesn't look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills."

If constantly talking about a person's color is racist, Barack Hussein Obama is a racist. Of course, he has to talk about his funny name and his skin color because he can't speak to issues and retain votes, let alone gain votes.

Obama also compared himself to western legend Wild Bill Hickok, who he said had fought a duel in Springfield.

"I'm ready to duel John McCain on taxes right here, quick draw," Obama said, prompting a quick retort from the other side.

"If Barack Obama wants this so-called duel then why did he and his entourage run for the hills when John McCain challenged him to 10 town halls?" McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds said.
Obama responded after shaking hands at a restaurant in Lebanon, Mo.

"I don't hear very much positive from Sen. McCain," he said. "He seems to be only talking about me. You need to ask John McCain what he's for, not just what he's against."

Since nobody on the Obama 'Yes, We Can' campaign can read, here is a short list someone can read to you of what McCain is for:

A strong military
Winning the War on Terror
Winning in Afghanistan as we are winning in Iraq
Lower taxes
A Supreme Court that believes in the Constitution as it is written

What are you for, you racist with a funny name and big ears? Besides being black, that is?

Baroque Hubris Obama, Prom Queen For Nothing

The regal sense of arrogance parted the waters of the Middle East and Europe leaving in its wake, nothing. Nothing was filled with empty phrases that looked good on paper, but meant nothing. There is nothing that Obama can't do including wrong and he looks as if there is nothing to it.

It has gotten so bad that even the media seems to be getting it. That says something.

President Obama Continues Hectic Victory Tour
Barack Obama has long been his party's presumptive nominee. Now he's becoming its presumptuous nominee.

Fresh from his presidential-style world tour, during which foreign leaders and American generals lined up to show him affection, Obama settled down to some presidential-style business in Washington yesterday. He ordered up a teleconference with the (current president's) Treasury secretary, granted an audience to the Pakistani prime minister and had his staff arrange for the chairman of the Federal Reserve to give him a briefing. Then, he went up to Capitol Hill to be adored by House Democrats in a presidential-style pep rally.

Along the way, he traveled in a bubble more insulating than the actual president's. Traffic was shut down for him as he zoomed about town in a long, presidential-style motorcade, while the public and most of the press were kept in the dark about his activities, which included a fundraiser at the Mayflower where donors paid $10,000 or more to have photos taken with him.

Obama brings nothing to the Presidency. Except arrogance, way too much pride and a vision of government that Marx would love like nothing else.

Liberal/Progressive BlackListing In Hollywood

A basic rule of free speech, diversity and democracy in a liberal/progressive world is dissenting opinions will not be tolerated. The latest victim of their "reality" is Jon Voight.

Fallen
I've never thought of Jon Voight as intellectually challenged, but it's hard not to at least consider the possibility after reading his 7.28 Washington Times op-ed piece slamming Barack Obama. "The Democratic party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way," Voight wrote. "It seems to me that if Mr. Obama wins the presidential election, then Messrs. Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America."

I finally get what Angelina Jolie has been on about all these years. (I think.) Most people reading the Voight piece will say, "Okay, the Times gave him the rope and he hung himself." But you'd think an arch conservative working in an overwhelmingly liberal town would think about restraining himself for expediency's sake, if nothing else.

My honest deep-down reaction is that I now have a reason to feel negatively about the guy. I'm not saying Voight is on the HE shit list (although the idea certainly feels good -- just as it felt good to imagine the same thing last spring about Tina Fey when she became a rabid Hillary person on SNL), and I certainly don't think a symbolic condemnation along these lines would matter much to anyone. Nonetheless, it's going to be hard henceforth not to think of Voight as some kind of diseased wingnut.

In the conservative households and workplaces I have known, a healthy debate has always been welcomed. Vice versa, at best, my conservative views have been snidely tolerated even amongst old friends and their families. What is most interesting is that as friends aged, got married and had children, the most aggressive in their condemnation of conservatism was the spouses, especially the women.

I assume I am on somebody's list.

The Media: How Much More Will They Cheat The Public, Their Shareholders And Their Advertisers?

The media is a liar. That much is obvious, even to a blind horse.

Editors repeatedly say they only report the news, but the media actually editorializes in each story with obvious statements, omission of facts and laden adjectives belying their intent. Further, their bias is seen in their embarrassing proselytizing on behalf of "their" candidates when appearing with or in front of them as they perform an agnostic genuflection of adoration and fealty to their latest master.

As a homogeneous society of issue lobbyists, reporters and their administrators deliver their cant as news and when caught out, deny it, gloss over it or present themselves as professionals unable to devine what the problem is.

Bias is presented as fact and fact is presented as bias when said facts collide with their bias. So many issues, such as global warming and teens pregnant with illegitimate children, are viewed through their world view which flies in the face of fact. None the less, stories are filed, edited and printed with one world view only, theirs.

To the media, Bush's compassionate conservatism was merely a cover for his ineptitude and inexperience, but discussions of Obama's ineptitude and experience is merely a dodge by opponents to obscure his message of "change","hope" and "audacity." One candidate's lacking is another' strength in a never ending shell game of bait and switch in our 3rd world media.

American history's "sad" aspects require action, the senator tells cheering journalists
"I personally would want to see our tragic history, or the tragic elements of our history, acknowledged," the Democratic presidential hopeful said.

"I consistently believe that when it comes to whether it's Native Americans or African-American issues or reparations, the most important thing for the U.S. government to do is not just offer words, but offer deeds."

Throughout history there has been tragedy. For all those accountable for slavery the ramifications would reverberate to the very core of Africa not only in a historical sense, but also in the here and now as slavery continues its ugly march through the souls of men.

As Saxons, Normans, Celts, Gauls, Romans, Picts all conquered and reconquered and assimilated into each other's societies, so did the Maasai, Luhya and Taita near Kenya in the 1800s as are the Janjaweed, Zaghawa, Fur, and Masalit in Darfur today. Europeans came to the North American continent, traded with, were attacked by and attacked tribes like the Powhatans, Souix, Mohawks, Seminoles, Apach and the Delaware as they had done to each other for eons.

The Europeans won the war(s). Unlike other wars between cultures, the Indian tribes of North America were not assimilated into the new society, and here lies the true tragedy, they were given and placed on reservations as not really Indians anymore nor were they members of the North American society. If there is any real remedy, it would be to abolish the reservation system entirely and for the remaining Indians to enter into the prevalent North American society as citizens of the United States.

If guilt ridden liberals want to start reparations, what are we to have, a great Ponzi scheme where whites give land and money to the descendants of African slaves who must then give land and money to North American Indian descendants who might have to give land and money to any newly found original inhabitants of the continent only to have all sell the land back to whites as each reparation is realized in a Congress that no longer reflects the citizens of the United States? Enter the Mexicans who slaughtered Indians of North and Central America to carve their country into a nation.

So, addressing "tragic" chapters in the history of America is Obama's new schtick. He must not be nuanced enough to realize the full ramifications on countries, societies and tribes world wide. That didn't faze reporters as they, "leapt to their feet and applauded enthusiastically after being told not to do so."

The really sad part is that reporters had to be told not to act like supplicants, but that story of their lying and cheating to those they say they serve seems to be a story not yet fit to print.

LA Banned In Areas With Smart People

In a unique move today, areas where intelligence exists nationwide banned any mention of LA, California in hopes of stopping the spread of stupidity outside of NYC and California. Specifically named were Mayor Bloomberg and the entire government of the state of California in hopes that their inanity would not spread.

L.A. OKs moratorium on fast-food restaurants
In bid to fight obesity, city imposes one-year ban in poor neighborhoods

In other news there was a motion in Sacramento to demand a bill stating the sense of the House concerning personal responsibility, but no one would take personal responsibility for such a bill.

Barack Hussein Obama, aka Everyman!, But A Mere Socialist By Day

via This Ain't Hell

The Obama knows he must be a chameleon to hide what he is to as many people as possible. By blending in amongst what he perceives as the common rabble, both in and out of congress, he garners his most support by flitting from one idea to another never really discussing any one idea in depth. Nor answering any question.

From his roots in Africa to his upbringing in Indonesia, Hawaii and the golden calf of .edu, Harvard, Obama has formed a vision of government that reflects this upbringing. It is called Marxism.

Among his proposed "investments":

"Universal," "guaranteed" health care.
"Free" college tuition.
"Universal national service" (a la Havana).
"Universal 401(k)s" (in which the government would match contributions made by "low- and moderate-income families").
"Free" job training (even for criminals).
"Wage insurance" (to supplement dislocated union workers' old income levels).
"Free" child care and "universal" preschool.
More subsidized public housing.
A fatter earned income tax credit for "working poor."
And even a Global Poverty Act that amounts to a Marshall Plan for the Third World, first and foremost Africa.
His new New Deal also guarantees a "living wage," with a $10 minimum wage indexed to inflation; and "fair trade" and "fair labor practices," with breaks for "patriot employers" who cow-tow to unions, and sticks for "nonpatriot" companies that don't.

That's just for starters -- first-term stuff.

Obama doesn't stop with socialized health care. He wants to socialize your entire human resources department -- from payrolls to pensions. His social-microengineering even extends to mandating all employers provide seven paid sick days per year to salary and hourly workers alike.

Like most 'theorists' of Marxism, Obama doesn't have much experience in getting things done, let alone completed. Like most proponents of Marxism, Obama is an organizer or has been organized, putting people's equality in neat little rows that can be categorized by neat levels of equalness. Much like 'I became a millionaire by writing about your mental poverty to show you just how unfair your economics is.' Put another way, Obama lives in his ill gotten mansion pondering the inequality of the economic masses not having equally cute little pink houses all in a row.

The Coward Sissy Men Of Islam

To Middle Eastern men women are chattel. Women are to be bare foot, pregnant and quiet. Except when the sissy boys of Islam need someone to deliver a bomb that they are too cowardly to deliver. I guess they've run out of "martyrs" they can drug up so much as to believe they are doing "god's" work. What a pathetic group of losers.

Female suicide bombers target pilgrims, rally
Four female suicide bombers and a gunman killed at least 70 people and wounded almost 300 others during a string of attacks in central Baghdad and Kirkuk on Monday, officials said.

In Baghdad, three suicide bombers detonated their explosives in three locations within 30 minutes of each other. The attacks killed at least 32 people and wounded 102 others, most of them Shiite pilgrims, an Interior Ministry official said.

Any religion that needs to use women, children and the mentally deficient to kill isn't a religion, it is a hoax. Any religion that needs to bribe its followers with 72 virgins for cowardly men to maim, murder, rape and torture to purify the earth isn't a religion nor is it just a hoax, it is an abomination to God.

These are the people that Pelosi and Reid and their ilk are supporting by trying to allow them to continue on. They are an abomination as well. They're just too partisan and stupid to know it. Or care.

Obama & Craig In The Stall Together

Of course I blame Bush & Rove. That's a given.

Obama's Blackwater Hilarity In Iraq

The Obama has made it clear that Blackwater USA, a private security firm, should be banned everywhere, especially in Iraq. They are bad people, not like the good people Obama surrounds himself with, but the Obama used them in Iraq & Afghanistan.

I guess Obama couldn't get his good guys from Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam thug of the week club through security.

58 Illegal Aliens Arrested In Ohio

But they're not criminals just because they broke the law. They are "undocumented" workers who just happened to break the law every step of the way beginning with sneaking across the border.

Feds arrest 58 undocumented workers in raids on 8 eateries
The raids at eight Casa Fiesta restaurants is part of larger workplace enforcement strategy that infuriates immigrant advocates, who say it brings down the hammer on hapless workers.
"These people are not criminals," said David Leopold, a Cleveland immigration lawyer. "The worst thing you can say about them is they came here to feed their families."

Leopold is to testify before a congressional subcommittee in Washington today on the need for comprehensive immigration reform. In lieu of that reform, he said, the government is using police actions to support a broken immigration system.

Immigration authorities say they are enforcing the law as best they can, in part, by targeting businesses that purposely hire undocumented workers.

"This was just a step," said Brian M. Moskowitz, the special agent in charge of Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Office of Investigations in Detroit. "This is part of a criminal investigation of a company that is violating U.S. law."

I am very pro-business and, yes, I have heard from employers here in Ohio, spoken to small town business owners and farmers in Nebraska, Iowa and other places, but if they are purposely hiring illegal aliens, they are in the wrong. Hire all the lawyers possible, but they won't change that fact.

Media: Bastards Won In Iraq So Screw With Afghanistan

The media, still licking its wounds over victory in Iraq, has set out their Plan B for Afghanistan. Plan B is the same used in Iraq which is doom and gloom with every day, ignoring good days and hoping the whole thing goes to Hell in a hand basket so they can trash Republicans before the election in November. If any one of these losers believed in God you could count on the fact that they'd be praying for a major problem just to get one more shot at President Bush.

In their mind if Bush wins in Iraq and Afghanistan they will lose in the "name the worst president" sweepstakes. In fact they'll look the losers they are. That ain't pretty. They is ugly anyway and with loser stamped on their forehead they'll be uglier than a 2:oo AM last call loner standing there with an empty glass and no ride home.

So, onto perpetuating defeat in Afghanistan, the war the media said we should focus on to get us out of Iraq which they said we were losing. Now we're winning in Iraq, OMG, we're LOSING in Afghanistan! Just makes one pine for the simple days of "I'd Rather be stupid, thank you." Dan was the poster boy for K.I.S.S. and well suited to it.

AFGHANISTAN
The Taliban’s Baghdad Strategy
The insurgents are closing in on Kabul, not in order to overrun the capital but to terrorize its residents and drive away investors. It's working.
Faridoon stares in alarm at the two NEWSWEEK reporters who just walked into his shop. "You guys better get out of town fast," the 21-year-old Afghan says as quietly as possible. "There's Taliban everywhere."

Is this reporting for real? Is it a joke? If its real, there better be some absolutely fantastic sound track to back it up. If this is real, it is worse than any High School Herald or Beaver Falls BS report. It is a joke.

If the media loses in Afghanistan they could all be working for Drudge or Pajamas Media. Better than standing in line with the illegal aliens they support for a fry cook position or pulling cabbage through a loop for a truck in some Iowa heat. They'd be overpaid in either of the latter two positions.

Does anybody read the main stream media anymore? I mean outside of editors, staff and losers that have nothing better to do with their time? I was waiting for my neice and my radio is on the blink.

The Grand Tour Ends With Obamally Emulating Ronald Reagan

In his quest to be all things to all people, Barry Lyndon Obamally, entertained the press in London with another day of political frivolity and ends up stumbling upon a political truth. You can't be all things, all the time, on all subjects to all the people.

He needs thinking time
"We call it the dentist's waiting room," Cameron said. "You have to scrap that because you've got to have time."

"And, well, and you start making mistakes," Obama said, "or you lose the big picture. Or you lose a sense of, I think you lose a feel-- ""Your feeling," interrupted Cameron. "And that is exactly what politics is all about. The judgment you bring to make decisions."

"That's exactly right," Obama said. "And the truth is that we've got a bunch of smart people, I think, who know ten times more than we do about the specifics of the topics. And so if what you're trying to do is micromanage and solve everything then you end up being a dilettante but you have to have enough knowledge to make good judgments about the choices that are presented to you."

Imagine how thrilled Obamally's base will be when they find out that he thinks like the only president they hate more than George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan. Maybe Obamally will twist yet one more time and announce "Star Wars" is the future defense of America.

Now Students Starving In America

Last week we were told that the middle class couldn't afford meat. Now students are starving. Have we no shame?

'Starving students' turn to food banks
"Before, when I lived in the dorms, I was on the meal plan," the 20-year-old said. "Now that I'm in the apartment, I have to pay for food, and I have to pay my cell phone bill. I don't make enough to pay for both."
...

With just $100 left to last him through the end of the month, the 20-year-old said a food bank might be his best option.

"It kind of grosses me out," McManaway said. "But if my parents say, 'No, we're not going to give you any more money,' it may be a last resort."

Bush, you bastard. This must be your fault and when Obama gets home, you're gonna pay.

German Women Still Gushing Over Obama

I worked out with Obama!
“My name’s Judith” I reply. "I’m Barack Obama, nice to meet you!” he says, and puts his arm across my shoulder. I put my arm around his hip – wow, he didn’t even sweat! WHAT A MAN!

Forget policy. Don't need it. He works out.

Mein Gott werde ich für diesen Mann stimmen!!!!!!

Ohio Anti-Smokers Make Huge Profits On State Ban

Who Really Profits From Smoking Bans?

I found this on Tony Phyrillas' site. Tony is from PENNSYLVANIA.

Opponents of Ohio Bans say "Just follow the money."
COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- "Smoking bans in the U.S. have been funded by those who directly profit from the sales of Nicotine Replacement Therapies (NRT)," said Debi Kistner with Opponents of OhioBans. Robert Wood Johnson, the late CEO of Johnson & Johnson, establishedthe Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) tax exempt non-profit 501(c)(3)in the early 1970s. According to their November 2005 publication, "Takingon tobacco: The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Assault on Smoking", from1991 to 2005 the foundation paid $446,398,054 in tobacco-control grants.Grantees that did not move from tobacco education to tobacco control became ineligible for further grants.

As of March 31, 2008 the foundation owns 35,435,189 shares of Johnson &Johnson (JNJ) common stock (valued at nearly 2.3 billion dollars) and is one of the company's largest institutional holders. As a tax exemptfoundation RWJF pays 1 percent tax on realized capital gains and dividendsfrom its investments, while other investors pay 15 percent. Johnson &Johnson profits from the sales of Nicoderm CQ and Nicorette products. Thefoundation therefore directly profits from cigarette tax and smoking banlaws they've provided grants to create. In January 2008, 1,000,000 boxes ofthe company's nicotine replacement products were reportedly sold andNicoderm CQ is touted as the "best selling smoking cessation patch inhistory". April 15, 2008, Forbes reported that Johnson & Johnson profitjumped 40% during the first quarter of 2008.

I wondered who was making the huge profits from screwing so many people's individual rights.

Ohio's smoking ban was a big win for the anti-smokers, but the really big winners are big intrusive government and those pushing the ban to make huge profits.

The big loser is the people of Ohio who thought they were doing good when they not only voted away their rights, but also set precedent for other rights to be taken away.

John Edwards, Rielle Hunter And The Collusion Of The Media

UPDATE:
Editors ban discussion of Edwards love-child charges.

The story about John Edwards and Rielle Hunter is nothing, but the age old story of people gone wrong. The story of how all the major news organizations spiked the story in apparent collusion is quite another.

Just as Watergate would have been nothing, but a second-rate burglary except for the cover up by the Nixon Administration, the real 'love child' story is beyond the story. People in positions of power and trust discussed what they would do in unison to mislead the public about a story for reasons they wish to keep secret, just as they have colluded in their coverage of our presidential election and the candidates.

Below is a search made for stories containing the word 'rielle' which is the first name of the woman who supposedly had John Edwards' child and with whom he clandestinely met at a hotel earlier this week. He attempted to sneak in and sneak out, but was caught by reporters which he attempted to hide from.

Obama, Faux Citizen Of The World

Obama tries so hard to say what he thinks will please the congregation thus raise his halo that he just falls flat after the service and the communion wine has worn off.

Problems here at home brought by the Pelosi-Reid "government" and Obama is kissing up in foreign lands. Environmentally inflated gas killing budgets and Obama is in the theatre of the absurd acting Jewish at the Wailing Wall. Banks are in trouble and he's trying to play commander in chief by insulting professional soldiers with his tin ear to the facts on the ground. This isn't the way to bolster his foreign policy resume. He hasn't got one and it shows.

Euro Trash Talking
While Barack Obama took a premature victory lap today in the heart of Berlin, proclaiming himself a 'citizen of the world,' John McCain continued to make his case to the American citizens who will decide this election. Barack Obama offered eloquent praise for this country, but the contrast is clear. John McCain has dedicated his life to serving, improving and protecting America. Barack Obama spent an afternoon talking about it.

I'm betting on the tortoise. The hare is a tad too skittish because this is one race track he can't handle.

Second Coming In Berlin! Bernhardt Hessian Obamasheitz Arrives

All of Berlin paralyzed with joy of his adoring gaze.

Spiegel Live Ticker
Bernhardt Hessian Obamasheitz addresses global warming
In order to provide protection for Obama, the Berlin Police Department has deployed an additional 700 police. Direct bodyguards for Obama are being provided by the US Secret Service. With a motorcade of more than 20 vehicles, Obama begins the short journey to downtown Berlin.

He displays His international expertise
A few hundred tourists gather in front of the Chancellery hoping to get a glimpse of Obama as he arrives for his planned meeting with Angela Merkel. They succeed: When he steps out of his car, the Democratic Party presidential candidate waves to the crowd.

He sees the birthplace of the Republican Party
The German leader meets Obama in the "Skylobby" of the Chancellery office. They shake hands and pat each other on the shoulders. Merkel quickly shows him the view of the Reichstag across the street, which is home to Germany's parliament.

He does the Breck Boy move
Obama has arrived at the Hotel Adlon. Hundreds of spectators are gathered in front of the hotel, but he has decided to use the back entrance to the underground parking garage.

Merkel has shortest discussion ever
The first-ever meeting between Illinois Senator Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel "was a very open and deep discussion in a very good atmosphere," said German government spokesman Ulrich Wilhelm. The spokesman said the politicians had conducted detailed discussions about foreign policy issues as well as climate change and economic issues.

Now you see Him. Now you don’t. Ich Bin Berliners more important.
"Barack Obama will not be coming to us," a spokesperson for the US military hospital in Landstuhl announced. "I don't know why." Shortly before the same spokeswoman had announced a planned visit by Obama.

Breathless media exhilarated.
German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier greets Obama in the inner courtyard of the German Foreign Ministry, where dozens of staff and about 70 journalists are waiting for his appearance. After a brief handshake, the two go back into the building.

He states His foreign policy with bravado, but there is no terror in Iraq.
Obama wants to urge the Europeans to increase their role in the war on terror during his speech this evening, says an Obama advisor. He will call on Europe to contribute more troops.

He brings the sunshine.
Hundreds of people wait in the sunshine in front of the barriers at the Brandenburg Gate, hoping to be some of the first to enter the Fan Mile. The area around the Victory Column where Obama will hold his speech is still sealed off. Visitors will be allowed entry starting at 4 p.m.

He further addresses global warming
With blue lights flashing and traveling in a long convoy Obama leaves the Foreign Ministry after just about an hour.

His foreign policy is refined, no cowboy at this coronation.
Steinmeier said he detected parallels in their philosophy of foreign policy. "Cooperation instead of confrontation -- that is also his foreign policy aim." Steinmeier said it had been a good conversation.

God is not French. He doesn’t even speak it.
While Obama's Berlin visit has caused a stir, hardly anyone is interested in his trip to Paris on Friday. There are hardly any French media reports on the eve of his visit. There is merely some grumbling about the extensive itinerary for his trip to Berlin. "A speech in Berlin, five little hours in Paris," writes French daily Le Monde.

Berlin voters are proud of their country for the first time because of Him.
Onlookers run down the broad avenue towards the stage in front of the Victory Column where Obama will give his speech in a few hours. The first visitors have now been allowed to enter the area and are searching for the best vantage points. They want to be able to hear exactly what the US politician has to say to the Germans.

2nd American invasion force in 63 years.
Dozens of Americans wearing Obama buttons swarm from Berlin's Central Station in the direction of the Fan Mile.

He addresses racial problems in America. Says Berlin is a symbol of hope.
The meeting between Obama and Wowereit lasts 20 minutes, during which the Berlin mayor asks the senator about integration strategies in the US. Obama then signs the city's guestbook, which Wowereit has brought with him to the Hotel Adlon. He writes: "Thank you so much for this open-hearted welcome. Berlin is a symbol for the victory of hope over fear and that it is impossible to separate people in their pursuit of freedom."

His evening wear will be discussed when possible. No report on boxers or briefs.
Obama enters the luxury Ritz Carlton hotel wearing a T-shirt, black sweatpants and white trainers -- apparantly to work out in the hotel's gym.

He loves Berlin. Staying much longer. Will shorten Paris visit.
Obama seems to like the German capital. He is to stay longer on Friday than he had originally planned, delaying his departure for Paris by two hours to just after noon. According to his team, however, these plans can change at any time.

World messiah described.
Berlin's mayor sings Obama's praises after their meeting. "He is a very charming and determined man, who has a vision for America and the whole world," says Klaus Wowereit after meeting with the senator.

He discusses Wright and wrong and how America has become lost.
Obama says "We cannot afford to be divided. On both sides of the Atlantic we have drifted apart and forgotten our shared destiny." Obama calls on people to "tear down new walls." "True partnership and true progress requires constant work and sustained sacrifice. Require allies who will learn from each other, listen to each other and most of all trust each other." "America has no better partner than Europe."

Baruch Obama Wailing On The Wall

In his newest, since yesterday, incarnation, the Obamessiah went to the Wailing Wall to try to shore up flagging support from Jews. In trying to fight smears and racism some believe caused by Obama's anti-Semitic past and his close friendships and associations with Louis Farrakhan and Jeremiah Wright, Obama was ready to do some political self-humbling for support.

Obama Visits Western Wall
At 5:11 am, Obama --a white yarmulke atop his head, a pack of Secret Service agents surrounding him -- walked from the motorcade with a small group of men to a sectioned off area of the Western wall of the Temple Mount, traditionally considered the last remnant of the Holy Temple.

Men and women are separated at the Wall, and a female Secret Service agent and two female Obama communications staffers went to the women's side.

One of the men with Obama, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovich, the Rabbi of the Wall, read Psalm 122 to the small group from a Bible, "A Song of Ascents of David."

"I rejoiced with those who said to me, 'Let us go to the house of the Lord,'" read the Rabbi. "Our feet are standing in your gates, O Jerusalem."

Rabinovich gave Obama a big book that described thie history of the Wall.

The pre-dawn sky was dark.

It appears at that point Obama changed his name to Baruch Hillel Oshiya or Barry Goldstein or something. Also, it is not clear if the name change is permanent or if Michelle (henceforth Malka) had signed off on the deal.

Unfortunately, most didn't buy the self-humbling.

And then one man at the Wall began screaming: "Obama, Jerusalem is our land! Obama, Jerusalem is not for sale!"

Baruch didn't think that very pious.

"It was rowdier than the last time I was there, you know?" Obama told reporters on the plane. "I mean, people were sort of, like, holerin'. You know I was expecting more reverence."

Baruch was on to the next miracle. Or next 'crap shoot' as Baruch puts it. And the media keeps buying it.

Obama Doen't Know Shite About Sunnis, Iraq, Afghanistan Nor Islam

via Instapundit

That Obama has not been laughed off the world and US political stages is a laugh itself. The man is a pontificating moron about everything, but especially the War on Terror, national security and the Middle East. Maybe he should have studied at a Madrassa. More.

That Was Counterterrorism, Senator
Presidential Candidate Obama’s statements in and about Iraq in the past 24 hours have been nothing less than shameless and disgraceful. While we strive to avoid political discussion at ThreatsWatch, criticism of his words transcends rank political partisanship if for no other reason than his claims are simply and flatly untrue, made in a war zone, during a time of war and while running to become the Commander in Chief of US Military Forces. This simply cannot stand unchallenged.

Not only does Senator Obama apparently think the Anbar Awakening and the Shi’a militia stand-downs that have occurred are somehow separate developments from the surge, which is a remarkable feat of logic in and of itself, but he is implying that they are part and parcel indigenous to what his ‘plan’ for ‘political progress’ would have afforded.
...
The Iraqis have done what they have done for themselves in spite of the likes of Obama, Schumer, Pelosi and all the rest. What’s more, now that The Surge has accomplished much of what it set out to do to help the Iraqis - again in spite of Obama, Schumer, Pelosi and the rest - a presidential candidate who opposed the surge, would still oppose The Surge and had absolutely no clue about the Anbar Salvation Council when it was pleading and begging for US support (since at least September of 2006) wants to champion their success as somehow his brainchild and a sign of the political development he envisioned? (This is an outstanding read-ed)

Obama is obviously unqualified to be a US Senator and he is criminally inadequate to be President of the United States of America. That he has followed the orders of and is supported by Pelosi and Schumer speaks volumes about them and all of those in their wing of the party.

To shame our military, take away their will to fight during war and condemn 50+ million people in Iraq and Afghanistan is more than shameful. It shames the United States of America.

Pelosi, Schumer and Obama almost succeeded in becoming the Pol Pot of the Middle East.

The Mythology Of Obama

Barack at Jordon's newly named Hercules Obamius

Barack Obama strode onto the world stage on Tuesday with trademark audacity, or as his political enemies would have it, a dearth of humility, in the symbolic shadow of Jordan's Temple of Hercules.

As he tries to convince Americans he will keep them safe, the White House hopeful held his first major press conference abroad as presumptive Democratic nominee near ancient Roman ruins and a shrine to the mighty Greek mythic hero.

Overlooking sun-bleached homes and minarets of the Jordanian capital, Obama spoke about his stealth mission to Iraq, against a backdrop seemingly chosen to suggest a young dynamic potential president, at home and abroad.

It was another example of the Obama campaign's flair for political imagery, and a world away from frigid icebound Iowa, or hard-knocks schools in rustbelt towns in Ohio where presidential candidates usually hang out.

After knocking the dust of Iraq off his boots, Obama swapped his khakis and flak jacket for a suit and red tie.
The great temple of Hercules was begun between 162-166 AD as an agent of change for the region. It was never finished and remained an empty suite of rooms for centuries.

Maybe Obama got to meet with Abû-Qatâda al-Filisṭînî, aka Abû-Omar and Omar Mahmoud Othman and his Fatwa Committee or maybe he met with Mahmoud Mahmoud Atta. No doubt Barack will chat with Mahmoud Abbas about their plan for Israel and Abbas' resolve as a moderate when Abbas said, "I renew my commitment to continuing the road he [Arafat] began and for which he made a lot of sacrifices, until the Palestinian flag flies from the walls, minarets and churches of Jerusalem."

Obama Speaks At Hitler's Favorite Monument

How appropriate.
The Siegessäule -- or Victory Column -- was erected in memory of Prussia's victories over Denmark (1864), Austria (1866) and France (1870/71). The column originally stood in front of the Reichstag, Germany's parliament building, but was moved by Adolf Hitler to its current location in 1939 to make way for his planned transformation of Berlin into the Nazi capital "Germania."

"The Siegessäule in Berlin was moved to where it is now by Adolf Hitler. He saw it as a symbol of German superiority and of the victorious wars against Denmark, Austria and France," the deputy leader of the Free Democrats, Rainer Brüderle, told Bild am Sonntag. He raised the question as to "whether Barack Obama was advised correctly in his choice of the Siegessäule as the site to hold a speech on his vision for a more cooperative world."

Hitler had Germania. Will we get Obashington?

Using The Black Man: Obama As Revenue Stream Enhancer

The media loves Obama. The are blah about McCain. Obama brings Hope without the baggage. McCain brings hard work with all the baggage of, well, hard work. If you think your child is bored 15 seconds into the discussion about the necessity of planning for their life, just look at a reporter's eyes glaze over when confronted with the details and realistic ramifications of policy decisions.

"Yes, Senator McCain, you spoke of the need for protecting Iraq's future as an ally and friend in the turbulence we've created in the Middle East and avoiding a slaughter such as you believe occurred in South East Asia after we brought our troops home from Vietnam due to overwhelming public sentiment to do so. My question is two fold; first, how much does your wife earn from her beer business and second, does she have her staff use lemon oil from the bottle or an aerosol can? I also have a follow up."

The media loathes a public that doesn't read their bilge.

Politics as porn. From the Huffington Post. Chris Matthews: I have to tell you, you know, it's part of reporting this case, this election, the feeling most people get when they hear Barack Obama's speech. My, I felt this thrill going up my leg. I mean, I don't have that too often.

BLITZER: We're out of time, but a quick question on this Mother's Day weekend. Your mother raised you. She was on food stamps at one point -- a single mother. If she were alive today and she saw where you have reached, the point that you have reached right now, what would she say to you?

And I thought only John Edwards could talk to the dead, but alas, there seems to be nothing that Obama can't do, but that is the point that editors want paramount. Obama the magnificent. Obama sells rags like nothing they've seen since JFK. And the better the circulation, both real, unreal and implied, the better the revenue stream from sellers of what-nots.

Policies don't matter, even if the media agrees, honesty doesn't matter, the media could care less, and experience doesn't mean a whit, the media wants revenue in light of their sinking fortunes. Business is business, but hypocrisy, lying and false premise, as witnessed daily in the media is not business. It is a lie, but if Obama can sell they'll use him all they can.

NYTs & BHO Are In The Tank For Defeat Together

Gee, I wonder who the old gray woman will endorse for president. I'm thinking they will endorse Barack Iraq Obama because of their shared vision of evil America losing in Iraq. Both seem so disappointed the electorate stubbornly refused to buy into their particular form of snooty elitism in the 2000 & 2004 presidential elections. Like most liberals, both think they're smarter, more politically savvy and better than voters. Both don't seem to grasp that liberalism has failed just like its big brothers, socialism and communism. All three are reality impaired.

McCain OpEd Not Up to NY Times' Snuff
As first reported by The Drudge Report, Sen. John McCain, R-AZ, submitted an opinion piece to the New York Times last week and the paper has rejected it.

A week earlier, the paper published
an op-ed by Obama, about the Democrat's plans for troop draw-down in Iraq. A few days later, the McCain campaign submitted a column rebutting the Obama piece.

According to McCain campaign staffers, the Times rejected the McCain piece and asked for a rewrite to respond directly to some of the claims in the Obama piece, and include an outline of the Republican's timetable for withdrawal of U.S. troops in Iraq and conditions for withdrawal.

New York Times oped editorial page editor David Shipley is probably chuckling in his iced Pinot Gregio at his little put down of a mere Republican hero to help the Hawaiian hero of Harvard. The NYTs and Shipley aren't completely heartless though, they've offered McCain time to change his Iraq policy and resubmit his editorial.

"I'd be very eager to publish the Senator on the oped page. However I'm not going to be able to accept this piece as currently written," Shipley writes, according to a copy of the message provided to ABC News.

"It would be terrific to have an article from Sen. McCain that mirrors Sen. Obama's piece. To that end, the article would have to articulate, in concrete terms how Sen. McCain defines victory in Iraq. It would also have to lay out a clear plan for achieving victory -- with troop levels, timetables and measures for compelling the Iraqis to cooperate."

The McCain campaign has refused to rewrite the piece, saying that the Times' suggestions are tantamount to insisting that he change his position in order to get his opinions published. McCain has refused throughout the campaign to detail any specifics regarding timetable for troop withdrawal in Iraq.

If I were McCain I wouldn't waste the time and effort on assisting a sinking ship obtain more readership. The NYTs won't give McCain a fair shake, let alone endorse him, and NYC won't vote for McCain, not even republicans like Billion Dollar Bloomberg, so why waste the time.

Shipley and his ilk are snotty little creeps. Let them look down their noses at us. It makes me smile.

57 States Need 10 Years Of Obama Love

The current FDR lite, BHO, is trying to tell us something.

Barack Obama's Butterfly Effect
Today on CBS's Face the Nation, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., in Afghanistan, told the paparazzi-pursued correspondent Lara Logan that "the objective of this trip was to have substantive discussions with people like President Karzai or Prime Minister Maliki or President Sarkozy or others who I expect to be dealing with over the next eight to 10 years.

What presidential candidate could possibly be unaware that the office is of 4 years and a possibility of 4 more years and one doesn't get a bonus of 2 years for being good in office. Nor are there commissions, yearly bonuses nor gold stars for the parent's refrigerator. Maybe he was thinking Michelle would get 2 more years for a 1/2 presidency. Maybe he was thinking that after eight years he could just refuse to move and "his" courts would need two years for eviction.

Maybe in 2016 "his" disciples will chant "2 more years" at the convention in Obama City to address the needs of "his" seven extra states.

Trinity College
This pair of cottages does not seem to have been allocated street numbers in the 1840s, which indicates that (unlike the other four cottages in the row, which were private homes until 1885) they were already being used by the college. At the time of the 1881 census they were occupied by the porter, John Smith, and six undergraduate lodgers.

Originally built in about 1680, these cottages were demolished and rebuilt in facsimile in 1970. They are jointly Grade II listed (1485/139H) with the other cottages and the main gate.

Obama's 16 Month Withdrawal Lie

Thanks RedState

Obama Press Release: Statement From Susan Rice In Response To PM Maliki’s Support For Obama’s Iraq Plan
“Senator Obama welcomes Prime Minister Maliki’s support for a 16 month timeline for the redeployment of U.S combat brigades. This presents an important opportunity to transition to Iraqi responsibility, while restoring our military and increasing our commitment to finish the fight in Afghanistan.”

Only problem is that as usual, what Obama says isn't quite true.

Iraqi PM disputes report on withdrawal plan
"U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama talks about 16 months," he said in an interview with Der Spiegel that was released Saturday.

"That, we think, would be the right time frame for a withdrawal, with the possibility of slight changes," he said.

But a spokesman for al-Maliki said his remarks "were misunderstood, mistranslated and not conveyed accurately."

Government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said the possibility of troop withdrawal was based on the continuance of security improvements, echoing statements that the White House made Friday after a meeting between al-Maliki and U.S. President Bush.

I'm sure Obama will get right on this to set the record straight. Don't you? I mean, if Obama isn't trustworthy, what is he? A democrat?

If Obama keeps twisting, flip-flopping and changing his views he's gonna need a back brace. Maybe he can borrow one from Teddy Kennedy.

Middle Class Can't Afford To Work And Eat According To NPR

Ben Keeler nails this story in one sentence over at Politics Ohio.
The backbone of the Democratic voting machine is right here in this story.

Buying votes used to be illegal, at least when Republicans did it, but Democrats have lifted bribery and vote buying to a national art. It is still wrong.

Ohio is the 15th fattest state out of 50 (not 57) states and the District of Calamity.

For Some Ohioans, Even Meat Is Out Of Reach

A generation ago, the livelihood of Gloria Nunez's family was built on cars.

Her father worked at General Motors for 45 years before retiring. Her mother taught driver's education. Nunez and her six siblings grew up middle class.

Things have changed considerably for this Ohio family.

Nunez's van broke down last fall. Now, her 19-year-old daughter has no reliable transportation out of their subsidized housing complex in Fostoria, 40 miles south of Toledo, to look for a job.

Nunez and most of her siblings and their spouses are unemployed and rely on government assistance and food stamps. Some have part-time jobs, but working is made more difficult with no car or public transportation.

Grew up middle class?

Nunez, 40, has never worked and has no high school degree. She says a car accident 17 years ago left her depressed and disabled, incapable of getting a job. Instead, she and her daughter, Angelica Hernandez, survive on a $637 Social Security check and $102 in food stamps.

Hernandez received her high school diploma and has had several jobs in recent years. But now, because fewer restaurants and stores are hiring, she says she finds it hard to find a job. Even if she could, she says it's particularly hard to imagine how she'll keep it. She says she needs someone to give her a lift just to get to an interview. And with gas prices so high, she's not sure she could afford to pay someone to drive her to work every day.

People tell Nunez her daughter could get more money in public assistance if she had a child.

"A lot of people have told me, 'Why don't your daughter have a kid?'"

They both reject that as a plan.

Middle class? No high school diploma. No job. No savings. 2nd generation welfare. Middle class? Oh wait, this is the new middle class for Liberal tax purposes because if you've worked, saved, planned and educated your children you are so damned rich you deserve to support those who have less than you.

The rising cost of food means their money gets them about a third fewer bags of groceries — $100 used to buy about 12 bags of groceries, but now it's more like seven or eight. So they cut back on expensive items like meat, and they don't buy extras like ice cream anymore. Instead, they eat a lot of starches like potatoes and noodles.

Maybe Madam Pelosi will utter, 'Let them eat meat.'

UPDATE: 12 bags of groceries for $100.00? Wouldn't you like to average $8.33 per full grocery bag and that was with meat!

UPDATE 2: Gateway Pundit is working on this as well and has a good writeup.
Moonbattery doesn't buy it for a second.

Defeat, Victory, Jaw OR Kill The Future For The Past

I got this at This Ain't Hell and you should go read Jonn's take on this, but really, these clowns want to surrender now, now that we've won and Iraq is growing as a free nation.

Of course, any vaudville act that has Fortney "Pete" Stark in it will at least be interesting. Clowns work that way.
