Dem Votes To Raise Booze Tax Then Skips Across Border To Avoid Booze Tax

via Jules Crittenden

Having made the run from Cape Cod to a sister's house in New Hampshire, I can attest that the liquor store parking lots, just across the border in NH, are filled with Massachusetts cars. Taxachusetts people don't like to pay the tax. Not even the jerks that vote for it.

Pol nabbed on New Hampshire booze run
A Westport lawmaker who voted to hike the state sales and alcohol taxes was spotted brazenly piling booze in his car - adorned with his State House license plate - in the parking lot of a tax-free New Hampshire liquor store, the Herald has learned.

Michael J. Rodrigues’ blue Ford Crown Victoria, emblazoned with his “House 29” Massachusetts license plate, was parked outside a Granite State liquor store on Interstate-95 South over the weekend, according to a witness who provided pictures to the Herald.

The witness, who requested anonymity, claimed he approached Rodrigues, noted his State House plate, and asked if he was on personal or official business. Rodrigues, who was loading booze into his car, snapped “mind your own business,” the witness said.

Unfortunately, it is our business when public officials vote one way and do another.

Look Here-Look There - Taxes, Government Intrusion Everywhere

Forget ObamasCare and Cap And Trade filled with new taxes, hidden taxes, fee and more. Look at your state, county and local taxes, fees and hidden costs for this and that. According to supporters all these cost increases are necessary. That's BS.

Government is fat, bloated and intruding in every corner of our life to feed itself and they have the audacity to preen that it is for our own good. Food, gas, sins, soap, trash, construction, licenses, heat, medicine, water, sewage, new cars, old cars, pets, education, business, charity, free speech and every other thing you need or want is being regulated, taxed and fee'd to death.

Below is a quick search, but feel free to add what you find. Next time something, anything costs more, figure out why.
