“You don’t have money to fund the war or children. But you’re going to spend
it to blow up innocent people if we can get enough kids to grow old enough for
you to send to Iraq to get their heads blown off for the President's
Pete has a history. It is a history littered with sexism, racism, public vulgarity, bully behavior and sheer stupidity.
From Sept, 2005
The House yesterday passed a resolution commemorating the fourth
anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. It extended sympathy to the victims and
survivors; honored the military, first responders, and others who helped;
thanked foreign leaders for their support; declared that America is not waging
war "on any people or any faith"; reaffirmed a commitment to the global war on
terrorism; and vowed "never [to] forget the sacrifices made" on 9/11 or to "bow
to terrorist demands."
Quite a reasonable resolution. The House vote for the resolution was 402-6, but there were six losers who couldn't bring themselves to agree.
Here are the six far-left Democrats who voted "no":
John Conyers (Mich.)
Barbara Lee (Calif.)
Jim McDermott (Wash.)
Cynthia McKinney (Ga.)
Pete Stark (Calif.)
Lynn Woolsey (Calif.)
What a group. Six moonbats looking for a belfry.
The San Francisco Chronicle editorialized, "Only a politician who assumes he
has a job for life could behave so badly on a semi-regular basis by spewing
personalized invective that might get him punched in certain East Bay taverns …
Surely there must be someone along the shoreline between Alameda and Fremont who could represent the good citizens of the district with class and dignity. It's
not the case now."
Fortney Hillman "Pete" Stark, Jr. is a sick man. As such he can't really be called a disgrace to his country because he's not right in the head.
I'd still kick his butt if he tried his crap on me.
