World's best art piece? A urinal
It may seem like toilet humor, but a porcelain urinal -- signed by an artist almost 90 years ago -- has been voted the most influential work of modern art.
When I first read about Duchamp and his peers I knew that modern art held very little of anything for me except the bravado of Duchamp's definition of art. In short, it is art because I say it is art.
After many years of looking at "art", I think Duchamp's bravado is full of crap.
