Winter

2008

One sunny day in 2008, an old man approached the White House from across Pennsylvania Avenue, where he'd been sitting on a park bench. He spoke to the Marine standing guard and said, "I would like to go in and meet with President Hillary Clinton."

The Marine replied, "Sir, Mrs. Clinton is not President and doesn't reside here."

The old man said, "Okay," and walked away.

The following day, the same man approached the White House and said to the same Marine, "I would like to go in and meet with President Hillary Clinton."

The Marine again told the man, "Sir, as I said yesterday, Mrs. Clinton is not President and doesn't reside here." The man thanked him and again walked away.

The third day, the same man approached the White House and spoke to the very same Marine, saying, "I would like to go in and meet with President Hillary Clinton."

The Marine, understandably agitated at this point, looked at the man and said, "Sir, this is the third day in a row you have been here asking to speak to Mrs. Clinton. I've told you already several times that Mrs. Clinton is not the President and doesn't reside here. Don't you understand?"

The old man answered, "Oh, I understand you fine, I just love hearing your answer!"

The Marine snapped to attention, saluted, and said, "See you tomorrow."

Anti-war left wing deception

Thus it continues.

The left wing is doing their job well in that they are raising money to buy Congressional votes, the leftist leaders in Congress are serving as the salesmen for defeat while planning a marketing drive to hoodwink the voter into buying defeat as a success. The media, acting as their communications department, is pounding out a litany of lies and distortions that spell disaster for continuing the fight against evil.

Of course the left must act now, because a free Iraq is growing stronger each day. The Islamofascists are growing weaker each day. If the left does not get the US out of the fight it might become apparent that we are making strong gains to ensure the future of freedom by lessening evil. That would not fit their agenda.

So they lie.

House Democrats' New Strategy: Force Slow End to War

Top House Democrats, working in concert with anti-war groups, have decided
against using congressional power to force a quick end to U.S. involvement in
Iraq, and instead will pursue a slow-bleed strategy designed to gradually limit
the administration's options.

The left wants power. With power the left will enact their vision of a progressive government in the U.S. and force their un-real vision of (international)government on the people. In short, the left will bring what they believe to be the WalMart of governments to its knees.

To attain this power to enact their agenda, the left will allow now free Iraqis to be slaughtered.

To get the power to enact their agenda, the left is willing to render the sacrifice of our troop worthless.

For this political power the left will bet that America can withstand the shame, worldwide turmoil and the empowerment of the murderous Islamofascists. All because they hate George Bush.

Republicans and moderate Democrats that join in this tawdry yet dangerous agenda should be ashamed. Then they should be voted out of office.

Orwellian quote of the day.

On C-Span Rep. Wayne Gilchrist, R MD

Concerning the Democrat Iraq resolution against the surge.

"Supporting this resolution is supporting the troops."
