Auburn? Laughing my ass off on the floor rolling.
Ohio State #11? Oh, maybe Boise State can end up #1 by beating the Columbus School for Girls field hockey team.
OTOH, Alabama still #7? Oh maybe they can climb to just behind Auburn by losing to Verde Valley School chess team by less than 13 moves.
The BCS is a joke, even by non-geek standards, and should be taken to the wood shed and left. Alone. Penniless. Shamed.

BCS Sinking Into Laughability-Too Dumb To Be So Smart
Who Is Trying To Buy Ohio's Gov Election With The $2.5 M Instant Special Interest Group "Our Future Ohio"?
The Democrats are flying a false flag about foreign money in American politics naming the COC. They know it's a lie. We know it's a lie. The press refuses to name it for what it is, a lie.
After having this lie hoisted up the political flagpole, the media rolls over and goes to sleep when a group, funded by secret money, starts putting up Huey Long demagogue ads about candidate John Kasich. The ads are shameless. Who cares? Not the media. If the once great Columbus Dispatch wanted a story to actually increase subscription rates they might want to find out who is funding the sleaze group "Our Future Ohio" being fronted by Strickland/Fisher/Union hack Alan Melamed. They won't. At least not in time for voters to make an informed decision.
Joe Hallett commentary: Election notebook has some interesting tidbits
• Hypocrisy is bipartisan. On Monday, Democratic U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown held a news conference decrying "the growing problem of anonymous money fueling American elections" and touting his co-sponsorship of a bill that would require independent groups such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to disclose the names of donors.
The same day, Democratic lobbyist Alan Melamed, a friend and political ally of Brown, acknowledged the creation of a new independent group, Our Future Ohio, to spend $2.5 million on TV ads supporting Strickland and other Democrats. He declined to identify the donors, and the nonprofit is not required to disclose them.
This is what the Columbus Dispatch has become. A day late and a dollar short publication written by bought and paid for writers like Joe Hallet. That is a sad end for what was once called "Ohio's Greatest Hometown Newspaper." The Wolf family must regret losing control.
So, since the voter won't get any assistance on this, let's all ask, "Who is trying to buy the Ohio governor's race by funding Our Future Ohio"? I'll bet it isn't Ohio voters. Not with Strickland and Fisher involved. Their involvement screams underhanded, possibly illegal, funding. It is how they do business. They lie.
Who is paying for Our Future Ohio and making Alan Melamed and his staff and cronies rich? Even with all those millions, I betcha they can't afford to tell the truth.
Ohio is tired of being lied to and Melamed and Our Future Ohio are not telling us the truth. For that alone our vaunted State Attorney General should shut them down. Yeah, like that is going to happen. Why bite the hand that feeds you, eh?

WikiLeaks, Its Owner And Those Who Leaked Should Be Charged With Murder
Brave Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan have literally put their lives on the line for peace and more freedom. Now their lives are being snuffed out by a snot nosed little coward who runs and hides and the traitors who leak information to him and those that help publish it. How ironic is it that their big product concerned collateral death and it never occurred to them that they are doing the same. Maybe they did think about it, but were too mesmerized with themselves. They are not seekers of truth or heroes. They are human filth.
They should be tried for murder.
WikiLeaks plans 'major' announcement in Europe
They can start with Bradley Manning and that weird little twit, Julian Assange.

Jimmy Sings What Willie Wrote For Howling Wolf
Here's Howling Wolf
Here's Willie
Didn't ever meet Howling Wolf, but Willie Dixon was a player and a nice guy.
UPDATE: I was reminded that I forgot the Allman Brothers Band.
UPDATE II: Okay, now somebody wants the Kooper/Bloomfield version which I thought weaker.
Kids, if I keep putting up vids of white guys passing these songs off as their own, I'd be doing nothing else, but dustin' my broom.

Reid Paid $750,000 Cash For His Non-Home In DC
And we pay 100s of thousands of dollars for his non-car in DC.
Harry Reid: Ritz-Carlton not home
Geez, let me get this straight. Harry's defense is that he only paid $750,000 cash for a one bedroom second non-home in Washington, DC?
If Harry wanted to really serve the people of Nevada he should have shared his investment savvy with them so they could have a little nest egg now that they're unemployed. Of course it would help if they could earn a million dollars on land they didn't own anymore. There's savvy and then there's savvy.

Hapless Harry Reid Proves The Peter Principle
But for Me, We'd Be in Worldwide Depression
"We were at the top and we've fallen very hard. So people have been hurting, and I understand that, and it doesn't give them comfort or solace for me to tell them, you know, but for me we'd be in a worldwide depression. They want to know what I've done for them, and that's why it's important for me, any chance I get, to say that my number one job is to create jobs," Reid said, blasting Angle for saying it's not the role of government to create jobs.

Your Tax Dollars At Work As Govt Unions Buy Election
If you think our education system is broken, don't worry, teacher's unions will use your tax dollars to elect politicians that don't care what you think. You think government is broken, don't worry, bureaucrats, automatic elevator operators and janitors will spend huge amounts of your money to elect politicians who will, in turn, tell you to shut up, you lacky. And they'd be right. You have become a lacky to public employee unions.
Campaign's Big Spender
Public-Employees Union Now Leads All Groups in Independent Election Outlays.
The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees is now the biggest outside spender of the 2010 elections, thanks to an 11th-hour effort to boost Democrats that has vaulted the public-sector union ahead of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the AFL-CIO and a flock of new Republican groups in campaign spending.
The 1.6 million-member AFSCME is spending a total of $87.5 million on the elections after tapping into a $16 million emergency account to help fortify the Democrats' hold on Congress. Last week, AFSCME dug deeper, taking out a $2 million loan to fund its push. The group is spending money on television advertisements, phone calls, campaign mailings and other political efforts, helped by a Supreme Court decision that loosened restrictions on campaign spending.
"We're the big dog," said Larry Scanlon, the head of AFSCME's political operations. "But we don't like to brag."
Good Lord, they're taking out loans for politics using your tax dollars as collateral to defeat your wishes at the polls.

Who Is 'Our Future Ohio PAC' And Where Did They Get $2.5 M For Strickland In One Week?
A new group has formed and created a PAC out of thin air, "Our Future Ohio" and its PAC. According to the Columbus Dispatch the group was formed just last week and is already buying up $2.5 million in ads, $1.3 million just for central Ohio, against Republican John Kasich. The group declines to say who is funding them and their deceptive ads.
Ad war escalates in governor race
Our Future Ohio was incorporated last week and created a political-action committee to counter the "overwhelming" number of conservative Republican groups running ads, spokesman Alan Melamed said.
Our Future Ohio and its PAC have a combined $1.3 million for more than 750 spots reserved in central Ohio through the election, records show. The group plans to run ads statewide at a combined cost of more than $2.5 million, Melamed said.
He declined to identify who is funding the group and said final decisions still are being made about what campaigns will be targeted besides the governor's race.
One ad features two people speaking at a kitchen table - a format also used by the RGA - complaining that Kasich and Wall Street are more responsible for Ohio's job losses during the recession than Strickland.
Alan Melamed of Cleveland, spokesman for the elusive "Our Future Ohio", is a lawyer and president of a political communications group which seems to be at the heart of Democrat machine politics here in Ohio. Melamed's VPs and others employed by him have worked as lobbyists and for such groups as the leftist Common Cause as well as many different 'green' groups cashing in on tax payer's dollars for profit. They all have close political and financial ties to Gov Strickland and Lee Fisher.
So, where did 'Our Future Ohio' get $2.5 million dollars for ads? How much more money have they received to cover their salaries, offices and overhead? That this effort is but one example of the desperation of the Strickland campaign is apparent, but who is funding this desperation and why won't the group tell us?
UPDATE: It appears that Melamed has a troubled history with the truth.
"Convicted οf Lying?"
Aѕ іf tο underscore thе futility οf using government tο regulate truth іn politics, Thе Associated Press quoted Fisher’s campaign manager, Alan Melamed, аftеr thе commission’s ԁесіѕіοn wаѕ announced аѕ saying: "Bob Taft hаѕ found hіѕ рƖасе іn history. … Hе′s thе first candidate fοr governor tο bе convicted οf lying." Thаt itself wаѕ a fаƖѕе statement. Thе commission specifically rejected Fisher’s complaints against Taft personally, аnԁ іt hаѕ nο power tο "convict," a word thаt implies criminal violations.

I Will Gladly Go To Jail For Murder
if only the people at UPS let me have 5 minutes alone with the person responsible for their "Logistics" ad.
Since I am pretty sure I won't get my 5 minutes, a suggestion to all that know or work with this sadist. Please put the sound track on their answering machine 20 times a day. On their cell phone voice messenger. On their iPod. On their DVD player. On their CD player. Every USB device they own. Repeatedly email the ad to them. Yep, Facebook it, in fact, use all the social networks. But most importantly, hum it every time you all are in ear shot.

As they say in China, xie xie Mr. Gibbs! Actually, San Francisco, China says, xie xie Mr Space
NARRATOR: We’ve lost 91,000 jobs to China through unfair trade deals like NAFTA — the kind of deals Gibbs wants more of.
GIBBS: I’m a free trader.
NARRATOR: 91,000 jobs. As they say in China, xie xie Mr. Gibbs!
So, I'm a bit foggy on Space's geography. His ad shows jobs going to San Francisco. Were those Ohio jobs? If Zack thinks San Francisco is in China where the Hell does he think the 18th district of Ohio is? Searchlight, Nevada.
If those were Ohio jobs that went to San Francisco it wasn't Gibbs that sent them, but Space and his buddy Ted Strickland.
After all, according to Zack Space, Maxferd Jewelry is in San Francisco, China, and is also in Nancy Pelosi's 18th District and Space is a very good friend and 93% supporter of Nancy Pelosi.
So, of the 400,000 Ohio jobs that Space and Strickland have lost, they sent 91,000 to Nancy Pelosi? How nice for the voters of the 18th District. The 18th District of Ohio which is still in Ohio. Zack might want to remember that. In the meantime, Rep Pelosi (D-8 China) say, xie xie Rep Space (D-18 NV).

The Cap And Tax Trade Crowd Support Space, Sutton And Other Liberals In Ohio
The crowd that brought us Cap and Trade now is working hard to protect their extremist friends in Congress so they can pass even more environmental taxes. They, nor their congressmen, care that it will cost people money they can't afford and they don't care that their "science" is bogus.
The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) Action Fund says new poll data shows that voters in regions with competitive House races prefer incumbent Democrats who support legislation to limit greenhouse gas emissions.
The group’s survey looked at 23 congressional districts where the incumbent House Democrat voted in favor of last year’s contentious cap-and-trade bill. However, the survey did not specifically reference that bill or use the term “cap and trade” in questioning.
Their Ohio friends are Steve Driehaus (Ohio-1); Mary Jo Kilroy (Ohio-15); Space (Ohio-18); Betty Sutton (Ohio-13) and John Boccieri (Ohio-16)

Bourton-on-the-Water
At Bourton-on-the-Water in Gloucestershire, a Mr Morris, landlord of the Old New Inn, began in 1936 to build a model village on some rough land behind the inn. Three years later, he and his six helpers, had managed to complete a miniature version of Bourton village in Cotswold stone at a ninth scale - right down to a model of the model village itself.

Glenn Harlan Reynolds Talks About An Education Bubble, But Who Will Talk About Bubble Headed Education?
Here's just one from the Glenn, but the stories about teachers, education officials and administrators pushing their liberal/progressive agenda just keep coming. And? They just keep going away and nothing gets changed.
Lawsuit: CPS pushing Democrats
Full disclosure: I know Tom Brinkman and I like Tom Brinkman. Plus I had a political science professor named Pinkly. No, really.
Also, in the No, Really catagory, the students were given sample ballots listing only Democrat candidates. Really. Sounds kinda pinkly, doesn't it.

Alan Grayson - Embarrassing Clown
I think the feet are too small.
VFW-PAC Dissolved Over Ultra Liberal Endorsements
I am amazed it took this long for the VFW to react to the stain on their name.
VFW Dissolves ENTIRE VFW-Pac After Boxer Endorsement
Boxer isn't the only embarrassment for the VFW. Here are some in Ohio:
-JOHN A. BOCCIERI (D), Dist. 16-Canton, U.S. House of Representatives horrible endorsement
-STEVE DRIEHAUS (D), District 1-Cincinnati, U.S. House of Representatives horrible endorsement
-MARCIA L. FUDGE (D), Dist. 11-Shaker Heights, U.S. House of Representatives despicable endorsement
-MARCY KAPTUR (D), District 9-Toledo, U.S. House of Representatives despicable endorsement
-MARY JO KILROY (D), Dist. 15-Columbus, U.S. House of Representatives despicable endorsement
-ZACHARY T. SPACE (D), Dist. 18-Dover, U.S. House of Representatives horrible endorsement
-BETTY SUTTON (D), Dist. 13-Lorain, U.S. House of Representatives despicable endorsement
-CHARLES A. WILSON (D), Dist. 6-Bridgeport, U.S. House of Representatives horrible endorsement
It appears that these candidates still have the VFW-PAC endorsement listed. Shame on them and shame on VFW-PAC.

Zack Space Voted With Pelosi 93% - She Let Him Vote Differently The Other 7%
Zack Space (D-CA8) likes to say he is a "moderate."
Zach Space can't hide his liberal voting record
Here's some soap Zack. As you wash out your mouth you should ponder if it is for the 93% or the 7%. You might find that saying you're a "moderate" is the reason.

Oberstar Actually Got Some Fool Constituent To Donate To Him!
Ouch: Rep. Jim Oberstar, D-Minn., has just one donor from his district
With a potentially competitive race developing back home in Minnesota’s 8th District, Transportation Committee Chairman Jim Oberstar collected a contribution from just one resident of the district between June 22 and Sept. 30, according to a federal election report filed Wednesday.
Jane Robbins of Pine City gave Oberstar $500 on Aug. 22.
Other than that, all of his contributions came from political action committees, Native American tribes or individual donors in other districts and states.
With the policies that Oberstar supports, she should have pocketed the $500. She may need the savings to pay her taxes.

Obama Says Mere Voter Unable To "Think Clearly When Scared"
How about angry? Does anger about our government render us unable to think, ie vote, clearly? One of my new favorite blogs, Pundit and Pundette, thinks our Shrink In Chief isn't good at being either president or shrinkoligist. Maybe a psychoprezinmaybechief?
Therapist-in-Chief explains our "inability to think clearly" [!]
Go read the link above to find how unworthy we are. To the One, "We're not worthy." If only we could line up in front of Obama maybe we could rectify his poor opinion of us.

Obama Kills More Jobs In WV, Manchin Munchin' On Defeat
As the science on climate change climate disaster climate weirdness global warming comes under more scrutiny, ergo exposing its lies, Obama and clan double down on restrictions, laws, rules and regulations to kill more jobs to "allow" companies to more better fall in line with the administration's "you're with us or you're dead" PC agenda. The Green Agenda. The anti-Appalachia Agenda. The anti-American Agenda. The anti-Jobs and Working Man Agenda.
It's easy to be president if you're a professor. Facts and reality never get in the way of, well, reality and facts.
Did Obama toss Manchin under the bus?
Republican Spike Maynard received a big boost in his campaign to unseat 17-term Democratic Congressman Nick Joe Rahall on Friday as President Obama — through his EPA Administrator — pulled the plug on a major mine by vetoing its mine permit.
Come to think of it, Obama’s old buddy, Democratic Governor Joe Manchin got the flaming bag of dog doo on his porch, too.
Republican John Raese thanks The Won for small favors.
As the sign says: “Obama says, Vote Democrat.”
Of course, Manchin will say this is why he is West Virginia's best hope in DC. His being a guard dog for West Virginia. Because he is a Democrat. Because he grew up in coal countryand now lives in the lap of luxury. How embarrassing for West Virginia.
Besides, what can aguard dog tea cup poodle do to a tea cup intellectual? The real question should be, what can a group of pissed off real Mountaineers do to a group of wussified greenies?
Me? I'll bet on the Mountaineers. Manchin, you deserve to lose, especially after yourfake faux gun shots at the Energy Bill. Probably had fois gras with the gun powder. Nothing worse than a nouveau riche that fails at being nouveau riche.

Kilroy's Path To Victory Is To Destroy Stivers
Ah, the inner-nana comes out at the best of times. Ohio's Mrs Obama wants to just love everyone, except that recalcitrant child Steve Stivers. Mommy rules the roost and Stivers better get that straight. Right?
Mary Jo Kilroy eyes a path to victory
"Steve Stivers will say anything to get elected because that's what lobbyists do."
Maybe it is the inner-schoolmarm
"He doesn't have core beliefs," she told POLITICO in an interview last week in a campaign headquarters reminiscent of an elementary school classroom, complete with a teacher's desk in the corner and a wall full of colored construction paper stars representing top volunteers. "He talks out of all sides of his mouth."
"I absolutely, 100 percent believe that a Republican majority would be very bad for the people of Ohio, very bad for the Midwest and very bad for the people of Ohio 15."
Recap from the Kilroy campaign; Kilroy good, Obama good, Democrats good, Stivers bad, Republicans bad and Democrats love their future while Republicans love the past and the voter isn't too bright.
My vote is decided. It isn't going to Nana nor her Nannanistas.

Charlie Wilson's War At Home
20 years can make a huge difference. In this case the big difference is and has been that the papers sat all alone in a courthouse and no news reporter ever looked at them or even tried to find them. These intrepid reporters could tell us when Eliot Spitzer did or didn't wear socks and what color they were during sex. They told us, showed us pictures and gave us descriptions of the toilet stall Larry Craig used at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
Not so much reporting for beating the Hell out of a wife. Repeatedly. By an elected official.
Exclusive: Court Document Details Congressman’s Past Spousal Abuse
Of course this story isn't nearly as important as one depicting a battle reenactor.

First, NY Democrats Screwed Soldiers, Now Illinois (Chicago) Democrats
How desperate are Democrats to win? They'll screw soldiers serving overseas protecting them. I'm sure that NY and IL being Blue States has nothing to do with it, eh?
Military ballots may not count in Illinois
Democrats fund the murder of our troops, so just how important do you think they think a soldier's vote is to the nation those soldiers serve.

Boxer, Grijalva, Kucinich, Waxman Got Clearance For Code Pink To Personally Give $600K For Murder Of US Troops
Via Gateway Pundit
Breaking: Barbara Boxer Approved Code Pink Trip to Fallujah to Donate $600,000 to Extremists to Murder US Soldiers
Perhaps the most revealing window into Boxer’s true feelings towards our military is her close alliance with Code Pink, a radical leftist group that reviles American troops as terrorists and assassins while praising their enemies as freedom fighters. For years, Code Pink has viciously harassed wounded veterans and their families outside Walter Reed Hospital, even telling the mother of a slain Navy Seal that her son “deserved to die.” Code Pink actively supports terror groups such as Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Taliban, Hezbollah and al Qaeda.
...
Code Pink’s leaders had just returned from Fallujah, Iraq, where 51 Americans had been killed and 560 wounded in the US Marines’ heaviest urban combat since the Vietnam War. Code Pink delivered $600,000 in cash and supplies to the very insurgents the Marines had been fighting against - quite literally giving aid and comfort to America’s enemies in a time of war. As noted in Islam Online, a diplomatic courtesy letter from Barbara Boxer helped make the trip possible.
(emphasis by Gateway Pundit)
Why the re-election of these people is in question is a mystery to me. They should be serving in Leavenwoth.

Maybe VFW-PAC Can Ask Their Endorsees In NY For Soldier Ballots
Since NY seems to be having political fun depriving our soldiers overseas of their right to vote, it's time to see how they did it. They kept it simple, just don't send them ballots!
That way the soldiers can't vote the loser delegation from NY right out of office and it stops troglodytes from taking part in America. Win-win!
I am sure that VFW-PAC is right on this. Like white on snow. Like hypocrisy on hypocrites!

VFW-PAC Screwed The Pooch, Veterans And America
UPDATE: Hot Air has an article up discussing the endorsement of Ma'am Boxer by the VFW-PAC. Boxer hates the military and hates soldiers. Worse than hating them she condescends to them which is an attempt way above her intellectual pay grade. If I was a veteran I wouldn't support her for a position as a latrine sampler.
VFW endorses … Senator Ma’am?
I wrote last Friday about the VFW-PAC and their shameless endorsements of anti-American and anti-veteran candidates here in Ohio. Well, they did it all across the country even endorsing liberals over Republican veterans.
VFW-PAC and NRA Endorse Demos Who Oppose Their Membership
It appears they have really raised a lot of rage across the country and they haven't even offered an apology to veterans.
Burn Those VFW Membership Cards: A Moral Outrage
And Jon Lilyea of This Ain't Hell has a great roundup as always.
VFW-PAC, you suck
Black Five has a good post as well.
Burn your VFW cards; Vote Vets runs VFW - PAC????
In an odd way, VFW_PAC may have done something good in that they have not only highlighted how corrupt our political system has become, but also such good groups as America's veteran groups and this corruption has pointed out just how anti-American some of the candidates they have endorsed. Please pass this on to all that you know.

When Will Democrats Campaign On Their "Accomplishments"?
There are examples everywhere of Democrats saying they love Tea Party type things, that Democrats actually lowered taxes and that Republicans are evil in all forms and deeds, but where are the examples of Democrats proudly speaking of their "accomplishments"?
They must have at least a trillion examples. There must be a hundred thousand signs all over the nation's highways pointing us to their prosperity.
We do know that politicians such as Ohio's Governor Ted Strickland want people to believe that John Kasich's success in business is solely responsible for the failure of Strickland's economic policies. It is also a fact that Rep. Zack Space wants voters to know that Ohio St. Sen. Bob Gibb's is totally responsible for all the job losses in Ohio.
What we don't know is what beneficial things have occurred because of their votes for Cap and Trade, Health Care Reform, higher taxes, trillions of dollars of debt and all the other wonderful things they have accomplished.
When will Democrats actually campaign on their accomplishments? Oh, there are always the warm and fuzzy ads that will ramp up right before the election. Everyone has seen them. Maybe this year Democrats will gather their families in front of a bio-fuel fireplace to read the wonders of progressive policy and bask in the warmth of their deeds.
I doubt they'll notice the faces peering in the windows worn with fear, unemployment and ruined futures. And anger.

Zack Space Has Nothing, Zippo, Nada And Zilch To Offer Except Lies
Zack wants a referendum on free trade, despite the fact that it can't constitutionally happen. Zack is putting up doctored vid/aud ads on Gibbs to make Gibbs the bad guy concerning free trade. Fair enough. Everyone understands that lying is part of politics.
What is Zack offering beyond his union paid whiny little baby crap?
Is Zack going to get concessions from the unions? Is Zack going to talk about overpaid, with their already bankrupt benefit and pension packages, union workers? Is Zack going to talk about government costing jobs through stupid and overbearing rules, regulations, laws, fines, fees and taxes on business? Is Zack going to explain his support of Cap andTax Trade? Is Zack going to explain, face to face, his hiding from his constituents that he obviously is scared to speak with? Is Zack ever going to be a true representative of his constituents?
Probably not.
Zack just wants to get reelected. People don't matter. His "integrity" as a law maker is what is important, at least to him. So, Zack has based his campaign on an unconstitutional idea of referendums when no referendums will ever be held and he hopes, actually thinks, that voters are too stupid to call him out.
Zack has nothing. Losers like Kaptur, Kilroy, Kucinich and Sutton at least have false ideologies to cling to. Zack has zippo. He's a blue puppy Demo.
I bet Zack is hoping all those union dollars will project him into another term. If he loses maybe he can get some invites to dine with union officials in fancy restaurants in DC which will be paid for by companies struggling to stay in business here in Ohio. Well, that is if Zack can get them to leave their marble palaces to limo amongst the common folks. Maybe the union bosses can get one of their secretaries to get reservations at one of their favorite Chinese restaurants.
Zack should order the Sweet and Sour soup. He had a sweet job, but he'll sour after they pat him on the back, light another cigar and tell him to get lost. Free trade is free trade and they will trade his sorry butt in a DC minute. Union is as union does.
Zack has nada. He is awhore like Jerry Brown milquetoast nothing who only wants to be reelected.
Gibbs has actually accomplished something by building, not tearing down, a business. Zack is a lawyer. Though he knows what the back of ambulances look like I doubt Zack could even drive one, let alone build one. With guidance, he might be able to fill one with gas. I hope no one ever shows him where the siren button is. He's irritating enough.
UPDATE: I was reminded that all those jobs fleeing the state were not just because of international trade, but were for the most part a result of Zack's good buddy, Taxin' Ted Strickland. Zack can't truthfully say that Gibbs is responsible for Democrat actions.

VFW-PAC and NRA Endorse Demos Who Oppose Their Membership
I am a member of a big family and I have told them to quit these two groups and to tell their friends and associates to do the same. The list below are endorsements made for Ohio candidates by the VFW-PAC and the NRA. While some are good and proper endorsements others are absolutely outrageous.
VFW-PAC endorses Reps Fudge, Kaptur, Kucinich, Kilroy and Sutton? They're kidding right?
The NRA couldn't endorse opponents of Reps Fudge, Kaptur and Kucinich? What's worse than a ref who needs glasses? A blind shooter.

When The Dam Breaks Will Biden Strangle Himself?
The next week or so will tell the political tale. At this point it appears that close races will start breaking for Republicans, but I am sure Rahm Emanuel left a "to do" list for Obama and the gang which no doubt includes many October surprises whether they are true or not.
West Virginia looks good for Raese, but one needs to remember that only winning by 4 or less points means he loses. If he can get above a 4 - 5 point margin he may win because at that point its hard to steal that many votes. Even for Democrats. Even in West Virginia.
Here in Ohio Strickland is pulling out the stops, but will lose. I hope the Kasich campaign sends a nice thank you note to Haley and the people at RGA. The Demos dropped slime in the state with sexual allegations against Ganley, but then who didn't know that wouldn't happen somewhere. The strange sexual peccadilloes of Democrats here in the state are well enough known to not even be news worthy.
Little Zack Space is trying to get people activated by lying about ideas for a national referendum on free trade, but that's Zack's style. I've sent a copy of the Constitution to Zack. Hopefully, he will have enough time after the election to read it.
Mary Jo Kilroy is in some incredibly deep doo-doo. She looks politically dour as she does in person. Down on the west side of Sin City Chabot is dealing Driehaus an old fashion butt kicking and the tin foil hat mayor of the universe, Kucinich, is reportedly actually having to campaign. Marcy Kaptur won't be defeated until the last barge that visits Toledo once a year offering false hopes stops.
As for Senate, is there still a Democrat candidate?
Husted is looking good. Dave Yost is in a salt and pepper race, but given that Demos are self demo-ing he should be able to pull it off. If one looks at the latest polling one would see a frustrated and depressed electorate. I guess that Hope and Change Progressive movement isn't what they wanted.
Even if Republicans win the House and the Senate (I think they will) the fools still in charge of print and film will declare it actually a loss for Republicans because they should have won so much more. But they will be right if the Republicans recreate the Congress they led the last time they were in charge, because they will have their butts voted out in huge numbers in 2012. If they don't know this then they are too stupid to be in politics. Well, at least too stupid to be in Republican politics. We eat our stupid.
Apparently, Democrats just strangle their dull voters.

Zack Doesn't Know Jack About Our Constitution
Somehow this doesn't surprise me at all.
Minus: If the silly season of politics hadn't begun already, U.S. Rep. Zack Space, D-Dover, kicked if off for sure this past week with a truly absurd proposal to conduct national referendums on trade deals. Even if you think the idea has merits, and we don't, it's clearly in violation of the U.S. Constitution, which grants exclusive powers to the president to negotiate foreign treaties and to the Senate to ratify such deals. It's these type of sideshow political proposals that take all of us away from real issues such as health care, Social Security and real solutions for our economy.
I wonder if Zack thinks we should have referendums on such boondoggles as his Cap and Tax and him getting permission from everyone's favorite Nana to vote no on ObamaCare. This boy ain't no Socrates.

Leftists On The Mall Proclaim "It's not as bad as they're making it out."
Oh, really? Where is all of Obama's talk about the worst since the Great Depression? Where is the anguished proclamations that Mr Evil Bush ruined everything? Well, now that Obama has done his FDR routine of making things worse they now want to say that right wing nuts are overstating their case. I guess the unions couldn't hire really good protesters for their rally.
Thousands gather in DC in support of Dems agenda
More than 400 organizations, including faith, environmental and gay rights groups, sponsored the "One Nation Working Together" demonstration on the same end of the National Mall where a month ago tea party activists met to hear conservative commentator Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin.
"We're here to show the rest of the country that there are people who support the progressive agenda," said Ken Bork, who came from Camas, Wash. But he acknowledged that Republicans are enjoying an advantage heading toward the Nov. 2 election that will determine whether Democrats retain control of Congress.
"There may be an enthusiasm gap, but we're not going to know until we have an election," Bork said. "A lot of the noise from the extreme right-wing stuff, it's been well orchestrated by big money. But it's not as bad as they're making it out."
There are some that "support" the progressive agenda? Of course there are. There are also those that still support communism. Death and depredation just don't deter some people.

10-10 Global Warming Extremist Sickos
No wonder so many progressives and liberals side with terrorists. They're just as sick and violent.
http://www.1010global.org/no-pressure
Whippersnapping climate campaign 10:10 teams up with legendary comic screenwriter Richard Curtis - you know, Blackadder, Four Weddings, Notting Hill, co-founded Comic Relief - and Age of Stupid director Franny Armstrong to proudly present their explosive new mini-movie "No Pressure". The film stars X-Files' Gillian Anderson, together with Spurs players past and present - including Peter Crouch, Ledley King and David Ginola - with music donated by Radiohead. Shot on 35mm by a 40-strong professional film crew led by director Dougal Wilson, "No Pressure" celebrates everybody who is actively tackling climate change... by blowing up those are aren't.
Next they'll have hilarious videos of those who disagree with them having their heads being sawn off with dull knives. Yeah, that'd do it. Especially if they have a green flag, say like Earth First, and some numbnut reading a manifesto just like real terrorists. We're all chuckling just thinking of it.

6 Progressive Members Of Congress From Ohio Support Destruction Of Israel
Soros supported J Street, a fake Israeli support group, has been busy drumming up support for a false war crimes report about Israel and supporting Hamas in the halls of Congress. Right here in Ohio we have some interesting characters supporting them.
The Honorable Sherrod Brown (OH)
The Honorable John Boccieri (OH-16)
The Honorable Steve Driehaus (OH-01)
The Honorable Marcy Kaptur (OH-09)
The Honorable Mary-Jo Kilroy (OH-15)
The Honorable Dennis Kucinich (OH-10)
From Yid With LID
BOMBSHELL! Soros-Controlled J Street Tried To Gain Congressional Acceptance of UN Report Accusing Israel of War Crimes
Granted, Dennis the Menace is Captain of any tin foil brigade and Marcy Kaptur, who wouldn't support America or a truly good cause if her life depended on it, are obvious members, but Boccieri, Driehaus and Kilroy are in iffy reelection bids. Of course, all three would and do take money from anyone for reelection, but joining this group of haters is a clear sign of their desperation. Sherrod? What can one say about Sherrod other than his voice is probably as hoarse as it is from too many anti-Israel chants.
What a group of maroons.
(I find it ironic that spellcheck wants to change Hamas to Hams. I blame Bush)

OH, Obama Said "Buck Up", Phew!
I thought he was finally being brutally honest in his assignment to the kids.
Obama Administration Scolds Base, Urges Dems to 'Buck Up'
I think he said the other right after the inaguration because they got right to it.

"Shame On You Liz Cheney. Go Plan Your Father's Funeral"
So says the twisted Mike Malloy, American radio's answer to Baghdad Bob.
Malloy has packed so many lies and progressive points into less than 4 minutes he would have to spend a year apologizing to all that deserve an apology. What a loser. His career highpoints are CNN and Air America. His career low points are, well, his career.

Take America Back
It is time to stop our self-feeding obese government. If RINOs go down with Democrat liberals and progressives so be it. It is a truism from Ronald Reagan that a politician that agrees with us 80% of the time is not our 20% enemy, but each voter will have to weigh their votes carefully as to not make things worse. The goal is to improve our lot as a society.
Here in Ohio, Chris Redfern (Tea Party members are "teabaggers" and "f*ckers") has instructed his candidates like Strickland, Fisher and Space to accuse Republicans of looking to the past instead of looking the future. That's fine and in some minds it is a good line, but those that forget the past are doomed to repeat it.
Socialism and communism has failed where ever it has been attempted. Redfern doesn't want to apologise for his descriptions of Americans nor does he want to talk about the failures of the past he wishes to impose on us now and in the future. Being a child in a man's body must be frustrating.

Pelosi: Attacks On Boehner Really All About ME!
Narcissistic Nancy is upset that there might be others who have been attacked more the she! The truth doesn't matter, it is the attacks!
Pelosi: Attacks on Boehner don’t compare to GOP attacks on me
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Democrats’ criticism of GOP leader John Boehner (Ohio) does not compare to the personal attacks Republicans have levied against her for years.
She then commanded:
“America’s middle class will have a tax cut. It will be done in this Congress. There is no question about that,” the Speaker said.
And with a large poof of smoke all that remained around her throne was the sound of a cackle whispering through the air. Aides to the Speaker conceded that a vote is unlikely as they served cake for all to eat.
UPDATE: An email said that my headline made them think that it was Pelosi who liberals say is the girlfriend. I can only say, Eeewwww.
UPDATE II: A Boehner aide said the liberal rumors about Boehner are "Bullsh*t."

Colbert Used As Smokescreen By Dems To Bury Christopher Coates' Testimony Of Obama DOJ Lies?
It's classic Rahm and it appears to have worked. Colbert is all over the news with his unfunny shtick and Coates' testimony appears to be a second-class story. This is necessary, as with the Boehner story, because Coates actually corroborated former Justice official J. Christian Adams' allegation that the DOJ dismissed the charges against the New Black Panther members (for voter intimidation) based solely on race, not the law. In short, their are civil rights for some and not for others. Sounds Obamaesque, eh?
Come on, these guys were just concerned citizens and Colbert can be really funny which is what Congress needs right now. Some levity. Some relaxing from all the hard work they've been doing. All that heavy lifting giving away money they don't have. It is exhausting. Right?

I Love Watching Rachel Maddow. She Is So Delightfully Stupid
Watching the Maddow is like watching a fool slip on a banana peel over and over with the result never varying. Our favorite Rhodes Scholar uses her distinct brand of pedantic humor to amuse herself and her small audience on MSNBC. As she has progressed in the honing of her scholarly/humorous skills she has employed facial tics and demonstrative hand motions to assist her sardonic facial expressions. All creating a vortex of boredom for watcher and watchee. Facts which might seem so important seem to slip by with nary a notice which allows for a cute performance of juvenile stagecraft that seems to delight herself to no end.
I wish her well in the next profession she opts to pursue.

How Slimy Will Leftists Get To Stem The Political Tide Against Them? Boehner Update
They will get Stark raving loony and slimy. That's how low they will go.
Mike Stark of Stark Reports got in Minority Leader John Boehner's face as he left the Pledge press conference this morning and asked him if he had been sleeping with a lobbyist. Boehner just walked past him with a disgusted look on his face.
Stark is normally a pretty low brow guy. Normally he shows about the same intellect as an Ed Schultz, but he finally got lower than low. Why? Because Stark said he had heard the rumor around town? Or because he got his marching order to try and trash Boehner from the hacks in the WH and the DNC? Who cares.
Boehner is a happily married man who has voted in ways that Stark and his masters don't like, so, why not spread some lies around to see if they can hurt him. It's their MO. What is not their MO is fact checking. Like checking that Boehner has 24/7 security who would know about something like this. No, they're not like the security Clinton, Gore, Spitzer, Jackson and Edwards had because unlike those detailed to protect that crew, Boehner's security detail is treated with respect and in turn they respect him. If they didn't, this would have been news long ago, but it didn't and isn't because it is a bald lie. A bald lie spewed for political purposes, because the Left is pretty pissed off that now the voters know they were lied to in the last election and they want nothing more to do with the Progressive Left's agenda.
Scum like Stark always hide behind some statement like, "Hey, I'm only reporting what I heard" as if they are real reporters. In my opinion, they are just common trash that allow themselves to be used in hopes it will get them something later on. If I was Boehner I'd get them something right now, like a punch in the face, but that's why Boehner will be Majority Leader and I never will. He knows when to not get in the gutter with the pitiful likes of a Stark.
BTW, I won't link to crap like Stark wrote because that's what he wants. If you're interested, go find it yourself. I'd start searching using terms like loser, trash, lackey, liar, creepy, muck, childish ............
UPDATE: Speaking of childish, it appears that Stark also writes for the Huffpo and Kos gangs. Maybe Markos can present another of his "accurate" polls on the subject and Ariana can write an Op Ed piece on truth in reporting. Where do they get writers like this? The city morgue?

Howard Pyle, Pirates, Parents And Memories
![]() |
| Howard Pyle, Book of Pirates (1902) |
Howard Pyle was born in Delaware in 1853. He studied at the Arts Student League in New York and the Pennsylvania Academy.
Pyle contributed to a number of magazines including Harper's Monthly and Scribner's Magazine. He also illustrated books such as The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood (1883) and the Book of Pirates (1902).
Pyle has been described as the "father of American illustration" because of the enormous influence his work had on other artists. Pyle taught at the Arts Students League of New York, the Drexel Institute, and his own art schools at Chadd's Ford and Wilmington. His students included Maxfield Parrish, N. C. Wyeth and Frank Schoonover. Howard Pyle died in 1911.
I still have many of the books my parents gave me. The Book of Pirates is the only one that both my parents inscribed to me. There were many other books that covered history, manners (I, uh, cough, followed it) and other sensible subjects and I remember the content. Of books such as the Book of Pirates by and illustrated by Pyle I not only remember the contents, but the book itself. Maxfield Parrish, N. C. Wyeth (father of Andrew Wyeth) and others may have written some books, but they were mainly illustrators who shaped how young people saw the world. What a great and good thing.
Is E. J. Dionne one of the most successful scams in American journalistic history?
Ah, the Tea Party is really small, in fact, merely "a sliver of opinion on the extreme end of politics." So, is the Tea Party larger or smaller than the sliver of opinion on the extreme end of politics of, say, the media arm of the DNC which is also known as the mainstream media?
The Tea Party Movement is a Scam
Is the tea party one of the most successful scams in American political history?
Before you dismiss the question, note that word "successful." Judge the tea party purely on the grounds of effectiveness and you have to admire how a very small group has shaken American political life and seized the microphone offered by the media, including the so-called liberal media.
But it's equally important to recognize that the tea party constitutes a sliver of opinion on the extreme end of politics receiving attention out of all proportion with its numbers.
Yes, there is a lot of discontent in America. But that discontent is better represented by the moderate voters who expressed quiet disillusionment to President Obama at the CNBC town hall meeting on Monday than by tea party ideologues who proclaim the unconstitutionality of the New Deal and everything since.
I especially love Mr. Dionne's characterization of the woman who expressed quiet disillusionment as a "moderate voice." So moderate that she worries about her two daughters and their continued attendance at private school, but the president answered her by discussing credit card laws, pre-existing conditions and stating that she probably wanted new shoes.
That her statement does not constitute "a sliver of opinion on the extreme end of politics" is obvious. It is also obvious that her sentiments represents a majority of Americans including the very sizable number of Tea Party members. If that is a scam then the meaning of scam has been turned on its head, but isn't that the reality of E. J. Dionne?

How Badly Does Obama Not Want To Be President?
His first first-grade gaffe, that I remember, was his 57 states comment which even school children used to know as wrong. He has had so many that they have become tiresome, but his newest is so ignorant and pandering that it is embarrassing. Many pundits have already commented that his staff should be checking these things before they are put on TOTUS for the One to read, but my comment is that he should have spotted it and fired the moron that slipped this gem into a speech. That he didn't makes him a moron.
Other pundits have spoken of Obama's refusal to utter the words "by their creator" in his speech. That is not news. He omitted the words on purpose.
He spoke of "inalienable rights" as if that was a concept of Mexico, Spain or any other culture in the Americas. First, "Long before America was even an idea, this land of plenty was home to many peoples. The British and French, the Dutch and Spanish, to Mexicans, to countless Indian tribes. We all shared the same land," Obama said to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.
Huh?
Spain got free of Mexico in 1821. For kids currently in school this is important, because 1821 was more than a few years after the founding of the United States of America let alone since the idea of an America first popped into the heads of our founders. Plus, there was that dust up at the Alamo in 1836 where rights were being taken away by Mexico and the different peoples of the land weren't sharing too many values with the dictator of Mexico.
So, was it Antonio de Padua María Severino López de Santa Anna y Pérez de Lebrón that spoke of "inalienable rights" as he watched the dead men of the Alamo burned? Possibly Geronimo? Oh, that's right it was Tommy Jefferson and his friends batting around that phrase. And they did so long before anyone else was pandering with phrases like, "Can't we all just get along."
I think our president isn't making any long term plans for more glittery parties post 2012, because he either knows he isn't up to the job of being president or he has already grown tired of it. If he is, whew, whoever bestowed "Constitutional Scholar" on him should be fired immediately. I may be stretching here, but I hope that Obama knows of the link between the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Maybe he thinks that if Jefferson thought it important that Jefferson would've put a hyper-link in the Constitution. Just a thought.

Democrats Adjourning Early Double Edged Sword
On the good side, anytime Congress isn't in Washington, DC is a good time for citizens. On the bad side, anytime a group of morons like the ones in Congress go back to their districts they will try to explain themselves which only opens them up to ridicule. Oh, wait, that's two good things.
House may adjourn by end of week
Should they stay or should they go?
It's always tease, tease, tease
You're happy when I'm on my knees
One day is fine and next it's black
So if you want me off your back
Well, come on and let me know
Should I stay or should I go
Should I stay or should I go now
Should I stay or should I go now
If I go there will be trouble
And if I stay it will be double
So come on and let me know
House may adjourn by end of week

Murkowski Running As An Independent????????
What a loser. What a candidate so out of touch with what is going on in America. What a woman so desperate to cling to the little power she may have.
I was actually planning to go work for O'Donnell. I think I will go work to organize grassroots support against Murkowski because she is exactly what is wrong with the Republican establishment.
Murkowski is a whining little entitlement loser.
I will work, since she has announced a NRSC loser position, to defeat her. Not just defeat her, embarrass her, by electing Miller.
Murkowski and the establishment in Washington, DC needs to be put down. What the Hell is that group in DC looking for? A handout from daddy?
UPDATE:
Hot Air has some thoughts as well.
R.S. McCain also has some thoughts on "Lisa the Loser".

Zack "Skip a Space" Is Losing Playmates
While some unions will support Zack Space (imagine the price), others are still sore over Space not voting for the union boondoggle known as Health Care Reform. Cynics might be inclined to see Space's 'no' vote on HCR as political posturing by a politician who reads tea leaves more than constituent mail.
Fear of GOP takeover forces unions to back Dems critical of health
Meanwhile, Space missed another 'Meet the Candidates' night in his district.

Ohio Dems Avg Day: TVs For POs And Judges For Sale
Well, the Ohio Democrat Machine is running a tad bad today. What with a former Democratic chairman, union officials, judges, a county commissioner, school board members, an ex-mayor, county employees, contractors, an auditor and his son all being charged with a plethora of charges such as bribery and taking gifts such as a talkative "massage" giver.
“I just said, she gives a massage. Is that how we're going to start her out?” Dimora tells a buddy in a conversation secretly taped by investigators.
I'm thinking by "start her out" he means getting her certified to be a union plumbing assistant.
I knew things are bad in the land of the Cuyahoga, but trading television sets for contracts? I'm trusting they were really big flat screens that didn't "fall" off a Teamster truck.
Investigators say the younger Russo conspired to trade television sets for consulting contracts.
The courts will take care of all this, right? Uh, maybe not.
According to the indictment, Dimora bribed McCafferty and Terry to influence litigation (cases) in their respective courtrooms.
The unions should really do something about judge's pay so judges don't have to moonlight in other jobs such as being bribees.
Ohio Democrats never tire in their work to improve the lives ofDemocrats Ohio's workers. That's why Team Strickland never sleeps.

Justice Dept Priorities: Black Panthers Purr, Deer Hunters A Burr To Justice In America
"Book'em Danno!"
OMG! Holder must have Jack Lord directing the Swat Teams in this take down of a massive criminal conspiracy. With Justice's Yahweh Five-O on the case, these rubes never had a chance.
Feds target 60 hunters in Kansas hunting probe
If convicted and given maximum sentences, they could face lengthy prison terms. Jim Cross, spokesman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Kansas, said in an e-mail that it was the biggest case of its kind prosecuted in the state.
This is huge. PETA will weep. The deer will vanish!
“The state of Kansas has paid out over $100,000 to independent contractors to thin the Kansas deer herd for management purposes,” Kerns said in an e-mail. “And now our tax money is being spent making federal cases out of alleged rednecks who supposedly harvest an extra deer.”
Bring in the FBI because they took dead deer across state lines.
