Somehow this doesn't surprise me at all.
Minus: If the silly season of politics hadn't begun already, U.S. Rep. Zack Space, D-Dover, kicked if off for sure this past week with a truly absurd proposal to conduct national referendums on trade deals. Even if you think the idea has merits, and we don't, it's clearly in violation of the U.S. Constitution, which grants exclusive powers to the president to negotiate foreign treaties and to the Senate to ratify such deals. It's these type of sideshow political proposals that take all of us away from real issues such as health care, Social Security and real solutions for our economy.
I wonder if Zack thinks we should have referendums on such boondoggles as his Cap and Tax and him getting permission from everyone's favorite Nana to vote no on ObamaCare. This boy ain't no Socrates.
