From the marble palaces of union bosses in DC the cry has gone on high, SOLIDARITY FEVER! Workers of the world, well at least Wisconsin, unite. We're all in this together, right?
Not so much.
Solidarity Fever’s Fatal Effects, or the Hazards of Trusting Your Union Rep
Having union bosses look after the health of unions is much like having government look after the health of citizens. A lot of people are going to get hurt and those under the bus will be dead.
But the union bosses will be living large which will nourish them just enough to figure out how to next help. And those limos will allow them to not be distracted by the unemployed roaming the streets and $4 gas. Tinted windows are good. Scotch on the rocks and great cigars as opiates of the bosses is better. It's good to be king.
