Obama's Super Obesity Bowl Party

Beer from Super Bowl states heads up Obama's party

bratwurst, kielbasa, cheeseburgers, deep-dish pizza and Buffalo wings with sides of German potato salad, twice-baked potatoes and assorted chips and dips.

And ice cream. Every responsible dietary example needs ice cream. And not one, but two brands of beer.

Obama + Greenies = Disaster For America

Obama has stopped 1/3 of America's energy supply in the Gulf. A coalition of 89 "green" groups, who make a ton of green off people like Obama, want to stop Canada from building a pipeline to the US that would bring in millions of barrels of oil.

Big Green groups tell Obama to tell Canada to Drop Dead

Together they have set out to destroy our economy. Why do we tolerate them?

President Reagan Once Again Back To Comfort The Nation

Republicans have looked for another Reagan since he left office never knowing they didn’t find him, he found and saved them. Democrats hoisted Tip O’Neill as the anti-Reagan, vilified Reagan, called him a stupid B movie star and then vilified Reagan further from the comfort zone of a defanged Evil Empire. Up until his death Reagan gave comfort to all, but the raging left and right of our political spectrum.

He’s back.

The 100th anniversary of Ronald Reagan’s birth is February 6. This anniversary has authors, writers, activists and any who have a political stake bringing up his name. The Gipper is back, for good and bad, for one more moment in the political discourse of the chattering class of our time.

Conservatives say, “if only he were here,” Liberals say, “if only he hadn’t,” and those in power imply, “if only you knew.” If only we knew just how much our current president is like Reagan, if only our president stopped acting like Reagan and if only our president thought like Reagan.

He never left.

As Craig Shirley, Reagan author/historian said of Reagan on Washington Post Live online;

As an historian, I focus on the facts. And the facts about Reagan make him one of America's four greatest presidents. But don't ask me, ask Ted Kennedy who gave Reagan all the credit for winning the Cold War, ask liberal historians John Patrick Diggings, who rated Rr as one of the four greatest because they all liberated many people (Washington, Lincoln, FDR and Reagan) or liberal historian James MacGregor Burns, who put Reagan in the great or near great category.

Beyond the facts is what Reagan did best. He returned America to us and with America he gave us comfort. Comfort in who we were and were not. Comfort in the great experiment called the United States of America. Reagan gave us our identity back. The identity we knew in our hearts, but had seemed to have lost. The identity that made us good Americans. Made America good. The identity that made America the “shining city upon a hill whose beacon light guides freedom-loving people everywhere.”

As long as America is America Ronald Reagan will be with us, for good and bad, for he still gives us enough comfort to voice our opinion of what America should be. Those who still oppose Reagan will use him to bolster their argument. Those who still support Reagan will use him to support their argument. Those desperate will use Reagan to compare or contrast themselves or their candidate to Reagan.

Mainly, there will people who will keep Reagan in their hearts as that to which America should strive to attain. It is comforting to do so.

Residential Architecture

I typed in "architectural residence" for images and below are the results. They were what I expected. I prefer more comforting environments, but I have spent a great deal of time in modern homes. Some have been stunning while some have just been cold. I found none of them warm.

The house I currently live in started as a one room structure that is now the living room. A half story second floor was then utilized with the addition of a steep staircase when needed and then other rooms. With the addition of the other rooms the owner at the time styled the structure into a simple rural gothic with arched windows in front, steep roof lines and gables. Later still one owner enclosed a two story rear porch for rooms, but forgot about a proper foundation and later still another owner enclosed an ill advised front porch into another room with no foundation at all.

The house has character. The faults are being fixed and the character retained.

Ngozi Pole, Former Kennedy Staffer Guilty Of Excessive Stealing

Oh boy. This is too rich. Stealing from one who stole his salary for years.

Former Ted Kennedy staffer caught stealing from the Senate

Write your own jokes.

You just can't make this stuff up.

Sarah Palin Rhetoric Responsible For Violence And Threats In Egypt.

I'm sure Dana Monte Milbank will want a piece of this, but really solid reporters are thinking that Sarah Palin's use of DNC imagery and dAilykoS rhetoric has caused this:

Mohammed ElBaradei has ordered Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to leave the country by Friday – or he will be a “dead man walking” and not just a lame-duck president.

OMG. Dead man walking? The language! The thought! The threat must be right out of lesser people than the lefty Milbanks of the world.

I blame Sarah Palin for the thoughts that caused the words to come out of ElBaradei's mouth! Is there anything she can't do?

How Many Other Loyal Allies Will Obama Stab In The Back

I'm sure Hugo Chavez is safe from the Obama bus if Venezuela rises against him. I am also pretty sure that Jintao is safe if China rises up against him. To Obama that would be the diplomatic thing to do. Not so with Egypt's Mubarak. Obama is slowing twisting the knife in the back of a leader who has helped us and who has helped stabilize the Arab world and stood with us in the fight against Islamic terror.

Other allies are watching Obama closely because they now know that the loyalty they have shown us will not be repaid, at least not nearly as well as ingratitude.

Who will lead Egypt after Mubarak? Absolutely no one knows for sure and it is absolutely sure that the Obama team doesn't. I would probably take a bet against most of the Obama team being able to name the countries around Egypt. Denial may be a strong point for the Obama administration, but they probably don't get denile jokes.

Is Mubarak a good leader? No. Loyal, yes. Was there a better way to handle this? You betcha, Maybe Team Obama was blindsided, which is very believable, but their first reaction was to stab Mubarak in the back instead of their vaunted use of the crisis for something they want. What is it Obama wants?

Did Obama plan to send a message to unsavory leaders worldwide or just to those with whom we have influence? If so, forewarned is forearmed and those leaders may dig in for the expected traitorous behavior of a friend and make the situation even worse. Was that Obama's plan? To make things worse? Why?

Has Obama planned for the onslaught of friends and fellow terrorists allied with the Muslim Brotherhood that will try to take power as did Hamas and other groups that took over pro-democracy movements elsewhere? Did Obama even consider this scenario?

Lots of questions with really no information about the thought process, the goals or any future strategy and tactics that Team Obama will employ in the future  The only other question is how many other loyal allies will Obama stab in the back? Oh, one more, what will it cost America?

Obama's HealthCare Individual Mandate Is Unconstitutional!

Just out - since the mandate is unconstitutional the entire act is unconstitutional. No stay was granted.

He ruled that Congress over stepped its boundary by forcing individuals to purchase anything.

Egypt: Muslim Brotherhood Is Anti-American

In fact, the Muslim Brotherhood is the father of al Qeada.

Jordan's opposition: Arabs will topple tyrants

The leader of Jordan's powerful Muslim Brotherhood warned Saturday that unrest in Egypt will spread across the Mideast and Arabs will topple leaders allied with the United States.

They were allies of the Nazis is WWII, fomented terror in british controlled Palestine and even though the Brotherhood maintains they are nonviolent they have a long documented history of terror, murder and assassination.

They are not pro-democracy. They are anti-Israel. They are anti-American. They are just another way to spell Jihad.

Will Obama Lose The Egyptian Revolution Like Carter Lost The Iranian Revolution?

Yep. Pro-democracy forces needing our help will not get that help and another Islamic Bananna Republic will be set up by another Ayatollah Khomeini.

It's like Obama and Carter were twins separated at birth. Who got the left side of the brain?

I think another set of twins separated at birth were Billy Carter and Jabberin' Joe Biden. At least Billy had beer going for him.

Buffoons all.

Enviromental Expertise Worth About A Buck Two Ninety Eight

And that amount of environmental expertise is funded with billions of our dollars. Somebody is gettin' screwed.

Himalayan glaciers not melting because of climate change, report finds

Himalayan glaciers are actually advancing rather than retreating, claims the first major study since a controversial UN report said they would be melted within quarter of a century.

The environmentalists do have the UN on their side, but what could go wrong with that?

Palin 2, Lefties 0

There are so many points which lefties hoped to take down Sarah Palin. Each time they failed. Each time they proved that they, not Palin, were the ones ignorant of history. Each time they became more frustrated and descended further into ignorance and madness as they squirmed to explain themselves. It's kind of beautiful to watch.

 Soviet space expert James Oberg

It's more complicated, but the essence is, Palin was right: the Soviets sowed the seed of their own collapse by setting off the Space Race.

Before this there was the 1773 moment. Lefties pounced faster than the Right assassinated Rep. Giffords crowd. Their ignorance of significant events in the birth of the United States was stupefying.

Hubris, Nemesis, and Partying Like It’s 1773

When Sarah Palin told a Tea Party crowd last Monday that it wasn’t time yet to “party like it’s 1773,” segments of the left such as Kos’s founder Markos Moulitsas chortled at her supposed stupidity. Their kneejerk assumption was that Palin was so ignorant that she didn’t even know the date of early events in the American Revolution. But since it was actually the Boston Tea Party (1773) to which she was referring, it was Sarah who had the last laugh.

More stupefying is their sense of being part of the intellectual elite which allows them to feel, and thus imply Sarah Palin as trailer trash in the nicest of Daisy Duke traditions that make elites so witty and condescending.

Well, Palin is setting her own tradition. She's 2 for 2 and those intellectual elites are 0 for 0 and it's making them crazier than an outhouse rat in a red hot barrel. With no way out.

Gee, who da thunk? A Schicago machine pol asks for a ruling and viola, the Ill Supremes say here ya go.

We discussed this before here.

HUD = Hookers & Unsavory Dead

Add in paying for belly dancers, mismanagement, sex offenders, embezzlement, employee bonuses, cost-of-living increases and severance awards and children damaged for life, to name a few, and you have a perfect example of government agencies too big, too corrupt and too stupid to do any job right.

Public Housing, Private Frustration
HUD-Funded Housing Projects Wasted Money on Belly Dancers, Sex Offenders and Dead Residents

Read the whole article. If ObamaCare becomes a reality maybe doctors and you may suffer, but some administrator will probably have a "million dollar mansion in Florida, with a Lamborghini and BMW parked out front."

UPDATE: Link was missing, but now fixed thanks to a heads up from Zilla. You can read her here and here.
