Barbara Boxer, using loopholes that allowed her to completely ignore Republican committee members on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, has gotten passed a global warming bill that hasn't a snow ball's chance in Hell of passing a vote of the Senate. Max Baucus voted against Boxer which will probably get him placed on the WH Hate List.
Senate Panel Approves Climate Change Bill Despite GOP Boycott
Boxer, never seen as a bright bulb, has wasted millions of taxpayer dollars to pass a committee bill that Republicans boycotted because it is so horrible and a Senate that doesn't want it to see the light of day.
Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., who was prepared to push a host of changes, said she was “voting to bring this bill out of committee (anyway) because we need a signal to the world that America wants to be a leader” in combating global warming.
How about America being, not signaling, the world leader in business and freedom? Our dollar has been sabotaged by his administration and this new cap and trade tax, the largest ever, will sink us further.
