People can disagree with tactical
decisions that have been made,
yet we have deposed a dictator
who wanted to do harm to his
neighbors and to America. We
have a chance to plant a seed of
democracy in this unstable region
of the world. We cannot set artificial
timetables for pulling out, which
only emboldens the enemy. I believe
Iraq is part of the War on Terror.
By winning in Iraq, we win an
important part of the overall war.
Abandoning Iraq to the terrorists
would be a great disserve to the
soldiers who have paid the ultimate
sacrifice to make America safer and
Iraq a free nation.
