Shakira And Linda Ronstadt Speak Out Against Arizona Immigration Law

Celebs Speak Out Against Arizona Law
Colombian-born Grammy winner Shakira met with police and officials in Phoenix. She said the law infringes on human and civil rights, and goes "against all human dignity."

Tucson native Linda Rondstadt said at a news conference that "Mexican-Americans are not going to take this lying down."

First, why are police officials in Phoenix taking the time to meet with a master crime fighter like Shakira? To gain her expertise? Maybe officials should look to the dignity of their citizens that need their help.

Now we find that Mexican Americans aren't going to be lying down any time soon from a different drum.

Yes, and I ain't saying you ain't pretty
All I'm saying is I'm not ready
For any person place or thing
To try and pull the reins in on me

Maybe they can get Sean Penn to travel with them to Mexico City to form a boycott or something. Or they could just sing.
