Obama is getting push-back from within his own Democrat Party.
W.H. allies target moderate Dems
President Barack Obama’s liberal allies are turning up the heat on a band of moderate Democratic senators with a new ad urging them to support his budget.
Actually, I believe that is threatening them to support Obama's state control budget. Hey, what's a union for if not that?
Americans United for Change (AUC), the labor-backed organization that has produced a steady stream of pro-White House ads, is going up on the air Wednesday in 11 states and Washington, D.C. The goal is to push Senate Budget Committee Chairman Kent Conrad (D-N.D.) and members of a new group of centrist Democrats to get behind a spending blueprint that many of them have already criticized.
Democrats are going through growing pains since allowing more moderate democrats into their Party, actually they recruited them, to win elections. Now that those who made the Democrats the majority Party in Congress are trying to exert their beliefs on the Party as a whole, the leadership is now going to put them in their place with the help of "card check" backers helping them to see the light.
Hey, Blue Dogs, welcome to the back of Obama's liberal bus. Just be glad you haven't been thrown under it. Yet.
