BDS, Iraq And Desire For New Leadership Haunt Republicans

Virginia
State Del. Rob Wittman (R) defeated Iraq War veteran Philip Forgit (D) in the race to replace late Rep. Jo Ann Davis (R) in Virginia's 1st with 63 percent of the vote.

Ohio
State Rep. Bob Latta (R) won the 5th district special election in Ohio today with 56 percent of the vote over his Democratic opponent.

The Hillary/Obama race has mesmerized America as the country is uninspired with Republican candidates nationwide. As the U.S. is mired in a quagmire in Iraq and the economy is in the tank, voters have turned on President Bush using congressional elections as a megaphone to signal their displeasure. Mission accomplished guys.
