The ad paid for and placed in OSU’s student newspaper, The Lantern, is not discrimination, but statements of fact. The manufactured outrage by members of OSU Muslim Students Association is all about lying and false charges of discrimination.

Let’s look at what OSU-MSAhas said about America and members of the Jewish State and faith:

MUSLIM STUDENTS ASSOCIATION--OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY (OSU-MSA)

The Ohio State University Muslim Students Association (OSU-MSA) describes itself as "a non-profit student organization devoted to serving the best interest of Islam and the Muslims of OSU, strengthening the Muslim community through service and activism, educating both Muslims and people of other faiths about the religion of Islam, and facilitating a better environment for students on campus." Toward these ends, the organization “sponsors regular functions that are usually targeted for Muslims” but “are not exclusive to Muslims.” Most notable are its weekly Friday prayer services and its bi-monthly "Sisters Circle," the latter of which is designed to foster comaraderie among female Muslims on campus.

Prior to 9/11, OSU-MSA produced and distributed MSA News, which served as the primary English-language outlet for virtually every Islamic terrorist and extremist group on earth -- including al Qaeda, the Algerian Armed Islamic Group, and the Islamic Salvation Front (a political party banned in Algeria. Moreover, this publication urged campus groups to purchase a videotape called "The Martyrs of Bosnia" and show it to Muslim-only gatherings. The video was sold by the London-based Azzam Productions, whose website regularly solicited funds for the Taliban rulers of Afghanistan before being shut down by the British and German governments post-9/11.

Over the course of several days in October 2001, OSU-MSA sponsored an event called “Islam,” whose purpose, according to the OSU student newspaper, was “to promote the true nature of the religion” via brochures, CD-ROMs, and lectures. “We feel that it is very important for the general public, particularly the campus community, to know about Islam and Muslims,” said OSU-MSA’s then-interim president Asif Salim. According to Salim, 9/11 had caused many Americans to develop distorted and negative views of Islam. He said, for instance, that “jihad” does not mean “holy war” as most media outlets had reported. “By definition, it means struggling and striving” to be a better person, explained Salim. “It doesn’t refer to warfare.”

Salim also asserted that the American media had unfairly cast Islam’s treatment of women in a negative light. “We try to reverse the trend spreading in society and give an accurate view of Islam,” he said. Moreover, Salim lamented what he viewed as the American public’s backlash against Muslims nationwide: “It’s really sad that people in a country that is supposed to stand for a melting pot with different cultures and people could be so intolerant.”

In December 2001, the Associated Press reported that the OSU-MSA was under federal investigation for its connection to MSA News.

In October 2002, then-Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Sami Al-Arian made an on-campus appearance at an OSU-MSA rally. The following year, OSU-MSA played a central role in hosting the "Third National Conference on Palestinian Solidarity," where al-Arian was the keynote speaker.

In February 2006, OSU-MSA hosted a week-long “Leaders of Tomorrow” conference co-sponsored by Kindhearts, an organization that was raided soon thereafter by federal law enforcement and was closed by order of the Treasury Department for financing terrorism. Other co-sponsors of the “Leaders of Tomorrow” event included:

Kindhearts' local parent organization, Masjid Omar Ibn El-Khattab, the Ohio mosque which was home to the largest known al Qaeda cell in the U.S. since 9/11, and
Ilmquest Productions (the media arm of the Al-Maghrib Institute), which publishes and markets not only DVDs and CDs of Al-Maghrib “scholars,” but also the works of such extremist speakers as Bilal Philips, Khalid Yasin, and Yemeni al Qaeda cleric Anwar Al-Aulaqi.

The president of OSU-MSA at that time was Mohamed Sultan — son of the prominent, terrorist-supporting Sheikh Salah Sultan. Three years later, in a January 2009 appearance on Egyptian television, the elder Sultan, who has been photographed at events with several Hamas leaders, would threaten the U.S. with destruction while invoking a notorious Islamic hadith about the inevitable extermination of the Jews at the hands of Muslims.
During the week of October 22-26, 2007, the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s Islamo-Fascism Awareness Week (IFAW) activities -- whose purpose was to educate American college students about the nature of the fanatical religious movement aiming to create a global Muslim empire -- were held at Ohio State and 113 other college campuses across the U.S. In response to IFAW, OSU-MSA joined with the campus chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in sponsoring an educational forum titled “Interfaith Relations – the Muslim Perspective.” This event featured a speech by Jamal Badawi, whose past and present group affiliations include the Fiqh Council of North America, the Islamic Society of North America, CAIR, the Muslim Brotherhood, and the Muslim American Society. Badawi, who has decreed it a religious “duty” for all able-bodied Muslims to wage jihad against the American military, also has ties to Yousef Al-Qaradawi.

In April 2009, OSU-MSA held a luncheon fundraiser featuring guest speaker George Galloway, just three weeks after he had appeared on Al Jazeera television to ceremoniously gift a large sum of money to Hamas leaders in Gaza. A flier promoting the luncheon stated that not only would “all proceeds go to Gaza,” but also that the event was being co-sponsored by the Noor Islamic Cultural Center, a prominent Columbus-area mosque that had recently made headlines vis a vis its terrorist ties.

In February 2010, OSU-MSA co-sponsored an "International Day of Solidarity and Action" whose purpose was to raise awareness of the "injustice of the ongoing occupation of the Palestinian territories." Fellow sponsors included chapters of such organizations as Women in Black, Students for Justice in Palestine, Jewish Voice for Peace, Iraq Veterans against the War, and the War Resisters League.

I think the outrage being demonstrated by OSU-MSA is disingenuous at best and is probably an outright lie to cover their actual intent. OSU-MSA supports our country's freedom of speech only when it serves their purpose and they are against it when it doesn't. Fact, as stated in the ad, does not serve their purpose nor the narrative they employ to protect their agenda so fact now becomes discrimination. They will scream it from the roof tops, but I won't be listening because I think it is a lie. A coordinated lie.

Typical stuff from wee Willy. He reads sites that are so full of crap they make his eyes brown. As usual wee Willy is cutting and pasting lies .

The length of time a President served also matters when assigning debt and making comparisons. This chart measures debt increases by Presidential term—i.e., four-year increments. President Reagan saw a 14.8 percent increase in the debt as a share of GDP over his eight years: 10.6 percent in his first term and 4.2 percent in his second. President Clinton enjoyed a nearly 17 percent decrease over the same number of years, first dipping 3.4 percent and then 13.4 percent in his second term when the economy was booming. George H. W. Bush’s record stands at 8.7 percent over four years.

As a percentage of GDP, debt increased by 4.4 percent during President George W. Bush’s first term and by nearly 17 percent in his second. At first glance, he and President Obama appear neck-and-neck at 21 percent and 23 percent, respectively. But there is one catch: Obama will have served for half the time. By 2013, President Obama will have increased debt by 23 percent after just four years—more than President Bush’s total eight-year increase of 21 percent and well more than either of the two Bush terms.

The future doesn’t look any brighter if the Obama Administration’s tax-and-spend policies remain the norm. Under these same policies, a second Obama term would see an increase of another 10 percent by 2017 for a two-term total of nearly 34 percent.

Why do I mention Willy? Simply because he chooses to descend on my blog like mindless locusts looking to do their mindless work. As they, he really has no purpose, just a genetic inclination to do. The progressives themselves are, in Daniel Bell’s telling phrase, “the priests of the machine.” Their views are fairly uniform and can be seen in “progressive legal theory,” which displaces the seeming plain meaning of the Constitution with constructions derived from the perceived needs of a changing political environment. Belief in affirmative action, environmental justice, health-care reform, and redistribution from the middle class to the poor all find foundation there. More important still is a radical environmental agenda fervently committed to the idea that climate change has a human origin—a kind of secular notion of original sin. But these ideas are not widely shared by most people. The clerisy may see in Obama “reason incarnate,” as George Packer of The New Yorker put it, but the majority of the population remains more concerned about long-term unemployment and a struggling economy than about rising sea levels or the need to maintain racial quotas.

That the Constitution has allowed for 235 years of self governance through “that government of the people, by the people, for the people” is irrelevant to the political elite. So irrelevant that this form of government must “perish from the earth” for the rabble has displayed too many flaws and therefore are too stupid or ignorant to know what is best.

Welcome to the authoritarian progressive world of today. A world that will be ruled by the scientific sociologist elite from their bureaucratic seats of power in academia, government and celebrity politics. That the majority of the people oppose them is merely more proof to them that the people aren’t capable making a right decision. Last week, I pointed out that in the ongoing effort to recall Wisconsin governor Scott Walker, any signature submitted to the state Government Accountability Board would be given the presumption of validity. Furthermore, the Board itself won’t be checking the veracity of signatures — they count until Scott Walker’s campaign challenges them.

This came to a head at a GAB meeting on Tuesday, when election officials admitted names like “Mickey Mouse” and “Adolph Hitler” would count toward the 540,000 signatures needed to force a recall election. That is, unless Walker’s volunteers can enter hundreds of thousands of signatures into a database and challenge the fraudulent ones within the ten-day window. (This, of course, assumes that Adolph Hitler is not actually alive, living in Wisconsin, and supporting the recall Walker effort. If he is, the state has a lot more to worry about than protecting union benefits.)
The Mickey Mouse and Hitler hypotheticals are ridiculous examples meant to demonstrate how screwed up the signature verification process is. But, in fact, it’s much worse than it seems. It’s not easily recognizable names like these that should concern Walker. He needs to worry about the fabricated names that don’t stand out, and therefore will be impossible to challenge in a timely manner.

Say, for instance, you’re an elderly volunteer scanning a list of recall signatures. You see the names “Wyatt Donnelly,” “Freddy Newandyke,” “Frances Buxton,” and “Emil Schuffhausen.”
Those names are, in order: The [y are in] in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. But unless Leonard Maltin is scanning those signature sheets on that day, all those names will count.

Also difficult to find will be the people who signed multiple recall petitions. Under the rules, someone can sign as many times as they want, but only one signature will count. It is then incumbent upon the recall target to sift through hundreds of thousands of signatures and challenge the duplicates. One guy boasted of signing up to 80 petitions — meaning, some campaign volunteer will have to play “find the other 79.”

And this is how the unions will attempt to unseat Gov. Scott Walker…

Personally, I think they should be arrested and charged with sedition.

Which brings us to Climategate. Climategate parts one and two are a series of leaked e-mails from arguably the most prominent researchers promoting the idea that humans are causing catastrophic global warming. The e-mails show the scientists involved to be violating their professional ethics with the result that climate science in particular and science as an institution more generally is brought into question.

The first group of e-mails released in 2009 showed scientists attempting to suppress or alter inconvenient data, destroying raw data so that others would be unable to analyze it, using tricks to change reported outcomes, conspiring to avoid legally required disclosure of taxpayer-funded data, and trying to suppress dissent by undermining the peer review process. The Climategate scientists continue to claim that the actions disclosed are not bad as they seem and that nothing contained in the e-mails is really important. But this is like the Wizard of Oz saying “pay no attention to the man behind the curtain,” when in fact the real action is going on behind the curtain.

Of course, this “ignorant wingnut conspiracy theorist” is Dr. H. Sterling Burnett who specializes in Environmental Ethics. As such Dr. Burnett must be suffering from a personality disorder to demand the employment of ethics in science.

I wonder, if Dr. Burnett does not exhibit such hatred as the commenter quoted above exhibits to ideas such as a belief in God, will he be stripped of his title and expelled from science all together? Claiming that the Stop Online Piracy Act, or SOPA, will transform the United States into "a repressive regime belittles the circumstances under which true victims of tyrannical governments actually live," said Watt, a SOPA sponsor.

SOPA, which was introduced last month in the House to the applause of lobbyists for Hollywood and other large content holders, is designed to make allegedly copyright-infringing Web sites, sometimes called "rogue" Web sites, virtually disappear from the Internet.

"The notion that this bill threatens freedom of information is insupportable," said Rep. John Conyers of Michigan, the committee's senior Democrat and another SOPA sponsor.

Of course, John Conyers, is the same genius that uttered this comment:

"I love these members, they get up and say, ‘Read the bill ... What good is reading the bill if it's a thousand pages and you don't have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?'"

Many like to use the phrase “the soft bigotry of low expectations.” There is nothing soft about the condescension liberals show to those they “protect.” It is a hard and brutal beat down of entire swathes of society and exists to utilize the worst in human nature to maintain Democrat majorities in many states, especially those with large urban poor populations. “The soft bigotry of low expectations” is racist. It doesn’t imply, it screams that minorities are lesser human beings. Liberals, in the name of equality treat minorities as 3/5 human beings as being not smart enough nor ambitious enough to follow the law or to better themselves.

Originally, under The Articles of Confederation, taxation and representation of and by individual states lead to the 3/5 compromise between northern states and southern states for Article 1. Sec. 2, par.3 of the Constitution. Northerners wanted more tax money out of southern states including taxes on the enslaved, but politically would not accept the enslaved as full citizens because it would give southern states more population based representation in Congress. Article 1. Sec. 2, par.3 was the compromise.

Today, northerners still have a 3/5 mentality as it concerns minorities. Liberals want, but don’t need minority money. They do need the minority vote and therein is the modern 3/5 mentality in which Liberals bribe minorities with social programs that hand out benefits, but only offer up lies of protection and false promises of better lives when there is absolutely no intention of delivering these things. They can’t because minorities would prosper and possibly leave the Democrat Party out of economic self interest and freedom from government interference in their lives. Republicans Lost Issue 2 In Ohio All by Themselves

Unions spent $30 million spewing lies about SB 5. Republican supporters of SB 5 knew they would, but didn't match the attack dollar for dollar nor did they effectively counter the outright lies of the in-state and mostly out of state unions. As professors and teachers cajoled their students to vote no and unions used the media to spread the lie that police, teachers, firemen and services would be sliced leaving citizens vulnerable to murder and mayhem with children wandering the street even more ignorant than they are now, Republican leaders did little to counter the lies. What they did do they did a day late and a dollar short.

This will hurt Gov Kasich. Even though the major dailies supported Issue 2 in their editorial pages they also ran anti-Kasich stories on a daily basis. After the public beating Kasich has received at the hands of the copy and paste (from the AP) newsroom reporters the support Issue 2 group still made him the front man for success. That will hurt Kasich even more.

The biggest loser, besides the voters stuck with the bill for the public sector union boondoggle, will be the cities and towns of Ohio. Even before the vote this localities were spending up to 80% of their budgets to pay the salaries, benefits and perks of union workers. We'll all be stuck with their bill. Republicans can make a check next to their name for this loss.

We did send Obama a mud pie on Issue 3, which was a toothless issue, but did reject ObamaCare soundly. We'll still have that, I guess.

Officials with the revamped ACORN office in New York -- operating as New York Communities for Change -- have fired staff, shredded reams of documents and told workers to blame disgruntled ex-employees for leaking information in an effort to explain away a FoxNews.com report last week on the group’s involvement in Occupy Wall Street protests, according to sources.

NYCC also is installing surveillance cameras and recording devices at its Brooklyn offices, removing or packing away supplies bearing the name ACORN and handing out photos of Fox News staff with a stern warning not to talk to the media, the sources said.

“They’re doing serious damage control right now,” said an NYCC source.

NYCC Executive Director Jon Kest has been calling a series of emergency meetings to discuss last week’s report—and taking extreme measures to identify the sources in their office and to prevent further damage, a source within NYCC told FoxNews.com.

Two staffers were fired after NYCC officials suspected them as the source of the leaks, a source told FoxNews.com. “One was fired the day the story came out, the other was fired on Friday. (NYCC senior staff) told everyone that they were fired because they talked to you,” a source said.

NYCC spokesman Scott Levenson denied that anyone was fired for talking to the press.
